I visited Ricky's for breakfast because we've been craving a good Benny. My partner opted for the California Benny. While the service was quick, I found the food to be quite disappointing. The hollandaise sauce was excessively sweet, had kind of a coconut flavor, and it was also disgustingly runny. Additionally, the avocado on my partner's plate tasted rotten and had a strange sweetness to it. On a positive note, the bacon was good, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, but the sauce really ruined the meal, as it is supposed to be the highlight of the dish. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, we have not been satisfied either time. The service was just okay; our server seemed rushed and not very warm, which added to our overall disappointment. Based on these experiences, I don't think we will be returning.
Food is always good!! We generally stop for breakfast on the way home (work nights) once a week or 2 and the staff is awesome!!
I've been here three times now, and I absolutely love this place!!! The food is just so delicious, with the best pancakes and burgers, the atmosphere is very cozy and lovely, and the staff, most notably the waitress who served me yesterday are super kind, friendly, and wonderful people to meet. Overall, I just love coming here, especially when visiting Mirror Lake, it's very easily one of my personal favorites dining spots! 10/10!
First time there. Had salad with spicy chicken. Didn't know about the spicy part till the first bite, but cleaned my plate! Excellent
This place should be called Icky Ricky's. The food is disgusting. How do you get a meat lovers breakfast bowl to have a coconut flavour and the hollandaise sauce made it in to a soup. The fries that were advertised in the menu (fresh cut), were not the fries my family received (battered). The gravy on the poutine was lumpy and reheated, cold in some spots. The hamburger had no flavour. Burger King makes better burgers and that's not saying much. Pop was watered down and warm. The only good thing about this place was the waitress (the 1 star). It was my first time going, and will not be returning. Save your money, and go across the street.
It was a sunday and we went to church. After church, we went to Ricky's for lunch. There were a lot of families eating there. We had a great time. Ricky's just opened in Camrose and it was our first time dining there. Thanks for the good food and the great service.
Very accommodating of my special dietary request (carnivore diet) and they were reasonable about the charge. Service was prompt and pleasant.
Rently opened, and I've been stopping by here on any road trip south this year. A wonderful place to sit down and have a good breakfast before spending time on the road. The staff is super lovely and friendly, and the food is fresh and amazing. The menu now is the full menu, and there's always lots to choose from!

Service is mediocre, only one waiter and waitress they seemed like they want to be somewhere else. Food was on par with a fast food restaurant like McDonalds. Atmosphere is very stark and cold. The old Humptys in that location was much better.

Chicken & waffles *chefs kiss* the waffles are so light and fluffy. The crunch on the chicken is phenomenal. I would highly recommend them for breakfast. The Big Brunch Platter is a lot of food, enough for a man to walk away full and needing a nap. Great food and service. Coffee always floating around for refills. The staff is super friendly. Fast service. Great addition to camrose.

First time eating at Rickys and definitely will be back . Everything was amazing , the food the service and atmosphere. Rae our waitress was one of the best waitresses we had in a long time. Her smile and kindness made our morning. I definitely recommend Rickys in Camrose

Breakfasts are great, good value. Liver and onions not so good, liver very dry and gravy with waaaay too much salt. Good service. Food : 3/5

Its the little things... This review is for today. We LOVE coming into know that we will be served with a genuine smile, a true How are you?! and a real care about customers. Its a very cold feeling in here today -- different server... we purposely avoid coming on Saturdays, as weve had this server on the weekends. The little things count... dont just put the utensils in a heap on the table and state Ill be back when youre ready.... take a moment to place it in front of your individual guests... its not hard to be friendly and make small talk while you place the utensils properly; in doing so you are telling a guest their visit is important to you. I can serve myself from my drawer at home more pleasantly than plunking down silverware rolls on the table and walking away. It is also important to know your crowd/community... rap music and hearing I smoke I drink I do bud... come out of the speakers at breakfast time with a mature crowd is not what we consider music to start our day with. Bring back the classic country and 50s classics!! This must also be server specific?? Usually is very welcoming, calm music. Seeing your server walking around the entrance area or servers area texting on their cellphone, while your customers have an empty cup of coffee is also greatly under appreciated. If we could rate different experiences, we would!! The weekday morning server Kim -- hands down TEN STARS! Kim goes above and beyond for her customers!! The definition of Come as strangers, leave as friends. Kim will offer menu suggestions when she learns you dont like something. She strives to know YOU and your family. When she asks how youre doing, she will listen to your response. She keeps busy in her customers view when her diningroom is full in case you need something. Not all of the servers are like this - some it seems forced, cold and Im only here for the pay chq feel. We miss the warm home feeling of Humpties and wish Rickys would bring some welcoming decor back. But!! The facility is always very clean! The food is always hot, fresh and prompt!! Kudos to the kitchen staff!!

Last night my husband and I and 2 of our kids dined here. The food was mediocre and expensive. Atmosphere and service was great but I got home and ended up with food poisoning!!!

The burger I had here was quite good as was the fries and gravy with it.. However the service was lacking. There was one Phillipina waitress who was attentive but I dont think she was my server. It took a long time to get served off the start. As I said however the food was good. Thank you philipina lady for taking care of me even tho it clearly wasnt your section.
Everything was delicious. Must try their Fish and Chips it was really good. A wonderful place to spend Family day at Ricky s. We all enjoyed our meal. Staff are friendly and nice ambiance :)
Had to ask for cutlery and serviettes after our meal arrived. Service was slow. Stale and crumbling hamburger bun on one meal. Overpriced menu - The atmosphere has not been updated since this location was called Humptys.

My husband loves the meat lovers breakfast bowl, orders it every time. Beef dip is amazing! Every Meal weve had sp far has been great. Waitresses are super friendly and attentive.

We waited at least 10 minutes to be seated. People who came in behind us left. Once we got seated, the wait to get out drinks was unreasonable, and they tasted watered down. While we were waiting, an older couple was seated next to us, they waited over 10 minutes and still never had a waitress to come ask them what theyd like to drink, so they left (I dont blame them). I told our first waitress that and she said the other waitress must have forgot, you do not use that as an excuse, if you forget about your customers get out of the restaurant industry or go work in McDonalds where you dont have to wait on customers. I have been to several Rickys, they have ALL been amazing (especially the jasper location in edmonton). This one is a poor excuse, and literally the worst one Ive ever been to. I will NOT be back!! The menu is half that of every other menu Ive seen. We ordered the original burgers, mine wasnt supposed to have mustard, relish, pickles or tomato, it had pickles, yuck. I was supposed to get crispy skin on fries, I got curly fries, no gravy like I ordered, the waitress didnt even remember if I added bacon or not even though she asked when reading the order back. The other one wasnt supposed to have pickles, it had pickles, its supposed to come with mustered, however it did not. The fries were cool and chewy, the burgers were dry, our drinks tasted watered down. We had 3 different people wait on us. This is the cheapest looking Rickys Ive been to, it looks like an after thought. It was freezing cold. The lack.of decor with almost white walls made it seem very unwelcoming. Ill wait to go to ricky in edmonton, I.will never be back.
Wow gone from great at humptys to sucks waited 15 mins for drinks had to get servers attention then ordered and waited over half hour for food never received. I doubt they even started. Watched other folks stand at door. Fed up and left! Rate experiance 0
Very clean restaurant, pleasant atmosphere with great service!!!! Had the chicken and waffles , it was amazing!! And the kids were blown away with the milkshakes, waffles and the toys they got to pick at the end of the meal. Wow what a hidden gem, we will definitely be back!!
Good to see familiar faces and some new ones after their transition from the old restaurant. I had the Califresco Salad and really enjoyed it. Really big serving too! Friendly and hospitable staff as usual. Busy place but everybody s been very reassuring. 5/5

I had 4 glasses of milk (best in town btw), then decided to have the Philly cheesesteak. Servers had a big smile and had lots of small talk. 10/10 no complaints except that they cut me off from the milk.

Been there with my family. Restaurant were full but they managed to give a good service. We had Philly cheese steak, waffle with tender, steak and fruit shakes it was delicious. We ll definitely coming back.
Went and ordered the two by five. The eggs were starting to get cold. I ordered white toast, and they gave me brown. The pancakes were below average, and the sausages were ok but nothing special. The service was acceptable, and the building looks fine if a little plain. Not worth the 18 dollars.

Just left there 11 a.m. after the worst breakfast and service. The hashbrowns were terrible( likely sat in a steam table since 7 a.m. Service was slow and disorganized. This place is far from the standard Rickys have. Maybe try a lot harder. P.s. Rickys its almost $4 for coffe???? Seriously????

Waited a long time for our food to arrive. I ordered the cheesesteak and my partner a burger. The fries with both were not great. My cheesesteak was really lacking in seasoning or something. Very bland. Quite pricy as well.

To be fair I was kinda sad that the Humptys went away. I quite enjoyed The food and service. However, Rickys has shown to continue on with the excellent service and food so Im a little less sad. Im glad that Rickys has shown to be a suitable replacement. I look forward to returning with my kids.
The restaurant wasnt busy and we still waited too long for our food. The cheese steak was ok but the salad to go with it was terrible. Our server was very inattentive!
