Rosie's Kitchen in Camrose

I realize the place is moving to Edmonton but they need some staff. Went there for a dinner show and the whole place seemed understaffed. The room was clean and very nice.

We had 2 dinner vouchers, and wasnt able to use one of them towards a appetizer (which was 5+ dollars less than the options they would cover), as we didn't want two big meals. They also didn't give a dessert or anything for choosing to eat there on your birthday, which I found most restaurants do. Food was pretty good, but was disappointed by these two things

I suggest you keep an eye on your chicken, one meal there on a 2 day stay, my wife was sick shortly after having supper there, sick for 2 days, I had the breakfast because the hotel offers a coupon with the stay, you should offer a part credit towards a actual breakfast, rather than barley warm eggs sausage and cold hash browns , definitely Room for improvement.

I was expecting a lot worse based on the reviews but we had a nice meal during a break from BVJ and the service was quick. We’ll probably be coming back next year since the food at BVJ has taken such a nosedive (assuming the casino is still around).

Very little service and food was cold and battled food poisoning after a breakfast meal. No one will respond to my emails or calls I leave messages and get nothing back.

Below average buffet breakfast. Eggs are usually cold, waffles are rock hard, coffee is flavourless. The Ramada and Canalta are definitely a better hotel breakfast in Camrose. Can't speak for lunch and evening meals. Waitress cleaning the tables was always nice and cheerful. Strangely no where to put empty buffet dishes, like other buffet style establishments.

The wait staff were inattentive, rushed and rude. At one point after messing up our drink order so that one of our party had nothing to drink for half an hour, the waitress skidded the glass onto our table as she rushed by. We also waited a very long time for the correct bill. Very unimpressed.

Had an amazing dinner with my wife. Food was delicious and service was great. The steak was cooked perfectly.
