Terrible . In Candiac Help The food doesnt seem fresh in the display, I never thought it was good to look, I was reading the menu at the top, they dont serve hot, when I asked for my little potatoes to reheat or m make fresh ones in oil so that they are soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, he replied . It s quite hot, I ve been a property owner here for 20 years and I ve never heard that . Theres no microwave oil here... and roll your eyes... put them in the microwave for a few seconds!!! I also realize that an all dress shawarma for him is: Garlic sauce Chicken . The minimum Iceberg lettuce .soft and a little brownish Tomatoes . I prefer my photos to speak for themselves, I removed some to show 1 Marinated Turnip better look for it (No hummus, no onions, no salt/pepper offered) and when I ask for napkins, he replies, there is one under your sandwich, that s enough . I ask: -Can I have more please because Im a blunder sometimes (I say that with a smile) His response was to turn his eyes upside down and give me some again.... A!!! (It was the owner) Deplorable service, he shouts in the restaurant (in his mother tongue) and raises his voice at a customer who asks to redo his order while I sit and try to understand what it just cost me for the meal in front of me .WoW!! I should have looked at the other reviews and comments before, I regret so much... yet in Châteauguay the service is impeccable... Im not in the habit of complaining about an establishment... But here... Clearly the public must be informed

This is the first bad review Ive left on Google Map. I paid without looking at the bill and noticed that they sell a small can of Bubbly for $3.99 + tax. A Pepsi is $2.49 wtf The cashier tells me he cant cancel the bill. Bunch of crooks.

We have been going to this Amir for over 5 years. Today was one of the worst customer service experiences I have experienced in my life! The owner of this restaurant was yelling at his employees in a disrespectful manner. He added half a spoonful of garlic sauce, when I asked for more, he started shouting saying we were asking for too much!! We were in shock. He proceeded with RACIST insults towards us. This gentlemans poor employees, even they seemed discouraged with him. Dont put up with this Amir, just look at the other comments below. You will understand my point. DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Came into the joint, said hi, and the man behind the food counter would not bother acknowledging me. I left without ordering. They missed a 60$ sale at least. I live near this sorry place Won t stay quiet about hte bad experience.

Its not gourmet, but the people are friendly and smiling. The food is fresh and excellent. Probably one of my favorite fast food... I rate 4 stars because I compare it with other restaurants in this category.

I was waiting for my order by the cash.. an older lady came in and clearly was not sure as it looked like her first time . She mispronounced an item on the menu and the guy behind the counter went off on her. Telling her its written right there blabla. Seriously guy? If I could give 0 stars I would. The owner there (old man) is extremely rude. Ive been going here for years and always put-up with the passive aggressiveness of the owners and staff. The other day I walked in as the only customer there for lunch made my order very clearly, and the owner misunderstood the order. I politely asked repeating my order asking him for no turnip pickles and he immediately became hostile, cutting me off and telling me its ok, I suppose Im supposed to just guess your order. Then when I tried to explain to him that it was simply a misunderstanding, he kept cutting me off saying no Ill just guess, No I get it I have to guess your order. It was the last straw for me and I told him to keep his food and left. Ive also told everyone im my entourage to stop going there. Unfortunately the teenagers at the school next door will probably keep this place in business, but the service is awful. Stay away from this place unless you want to be treated like dirt while giving them money.

I ordered through Uber Eat last Friday and I received the order missed items (2 chicken bitas) I contacted the restaurant immediately, a gentleman who responded very angry and aggressive, he told me to resolve your problem with Uber Eat nothing to do with us, you were not our client plus he started to threaten and insult me in his Arabic language with a very ugly word, I understood well my x was an Arab, it seems to me that there was a lack of communication and a lack of respect and politeness. the Mr. told me that I must come back the next morning to speak with the owner even though I live far away, he told me that this is not his problem, and started shouting and shouted at me and hung up, the order finished in the trash bag and I wont order from Amir forever. thank you Amir and goodbye forever.

One of the servers behind the counter was not wearing a mask. Another waiter was insulting the lady behind the cash register. I have been there three times and the smiles of the employees are not there! Rude customer service.

The kitchen staff didnt stop coughing and the man who served us didnt say hello, but above all, he didnt wear his mask over his nose and a quarter of his mouth was sticking out. In times of Covid it is better to avoid.

I had a wonderful experience I had finished my shift at work and saw this Amir by hazard just before the highway so I decided to pull in. There was an elderly man working he was super friendly and funny. He made my order just as I asked and didn t even charge me extra. The food was great. I recommend this place to everyone

This evening, we went to get some food from Amir Candiac and we were very disappointed, very ordinary food, tasteless and passable service.

This is the 3rd time that I have not received my order as specified via the Uber platform... First time, I dont care. The 2nd, I notify the Uber platform but it is a completely useless step. The 3rd time, I called directly. Flat excuses and vain explanations but it turns out that I dont eat what I wanted and my specifications are the same that I have used since the very beginning of my orders via the Uber platform and before, I had no error. Too bad because I didnt have any specific complaints but I will no longer order from this Amir via UberEat and I will travel to pick up my dishes directly from the one in St-Contant.

BRU-TAL. Terrible service. You ask for extra sauce they give none. They make fun of you while they prepare your food. Tried to give them another chance in this time of shopping local. Same problem. Thank goodness for Mon Shish Taouk, Boustan, and Amir St-Constant. will never recommend this place.

I took the trouble to call around 11:45 a.m. to have my order prepared and come by when it was ready. However, I was told that since there were too many customers in the branch, they could not prepare my order and that I would have to come to the restaurant for the 6 plates. Not being a regular customer, I went to the restaurant with the order of 5 of my colleagues and I wasnt sure how the plates worked. Once in the restaurant, the clerk was quite insolent towards me. I had my colleagues order, and since I dont know the restaurants way of doing things at all, I asked for things that were perhaps not usual. For example, I asked for a shishtaouk plate without rice with vegetables and the clerk arrogantly told me that there were no vegetables. He then asked me to double-check the order, showing me the line of customers waiting to be served. I waited for my turn too, so I expected to be served in a respectful and pleasant manner, which I didnt get. Then, I asked for a plate of shrimp, and the clerk told me that for this kind of plate you had to wait 25 minutes, and that I could eat my shrimp tomorrow evening (to express the fact that it was was a much longer plate to make than the others). I didnt like his comment at all, and I was very embarrassed in front of the other customers in the restaurant. I was then told that for such an order I had to call ahead (which I did and was turned away). In short, I am very disappointed with my visit to the Amir de Candiac and neither I nor my colleagues want to return to this branch. However, I would like to emphasize the kindness of the lady at the checkout.

The service was bad. I was asked if I knew what I was eating because I wanted hummus and garlic sauce in my pita. As if we couldnt mix the two. I love this restaurant Amir and I recommend it without hesitation, because I go there regularly! The food is always fresh and prepared with great care, whether it is the salads, the chicken and of course their garlic potatoes! It really is the best dishes! I am therefore very satisfied with the courteous service and the quantity and quality of the plates!

When Im on the south shore, in the Candiac region, its automatic: I stop at Amirs. Elie serves the best shish taouks in town, and what can we say about his tabbouleh. A real little sin. Thank you Elie for these little pleasures.

Meh. Been twice just to make sure it wasnt just a bad day but the food here is sub-par. I like Amir normally but this location really doesnt do the brand justice. Now that Boustans is open on the 132, theres no reason to ever go back to this Amir. Its so close to home, I really wish it was better

Blind taste and old dry food. My husband bought four different plates and every single bite was just awful. The falafel had smell of someting decomposting and the baklava - of mold. We have had Amir many times, never had so bad experience, however wont go back there.
