WOW, I loved it! Impeccable service, perfect food, nothing to say! I was there with my children and the 3 of us found that it was the best general tao ever eaten! Not expensive too

The meal was good. The egg rolls were delicious. We were greeted very cheerfully upon our arrival.

The waitress doesnt understand anything I say to her. She nods her head yes! yes! But she didnt understand anything in the end. Very disappointed and will never go back there again. One beautiful Saturday evening there were 8 of us in the restaurant between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m.

I am very disappointed. I took the trouble to call to have my order prepared 1h30 in advance. I think they made it right away and reheated it when I arrived. The wonton soup is tasteless. I asked for imperial rolls, I got burnt eggrolls, without sauce so as not to choke on them. The general tao chicken, spareribs and rice were dry. $50 for oil changes. Last time for me.

Order for $70 for Mothers Day for two people. Combo #2 (won ton soup, eggroll, fried rice, ribs, general tao, beef and broccoli) + Singapore noodles and Cantonese chow mein. -Won ton soup without taste, no ginger/green shallots, you can really buy better in grocery stores in freezer dishes. -Wong wing style eggroll in the fryer -Dry rice lacks taste -Ordinary ribs -General tao (only dough and lack of sauce) -Beef and Broccoli for me was already prepared in advance and poorly reheated (some pieces were cold) -Cantonese chow mein there were only old burnt noodles (not in the right way) with a base of sauce and 2-3 pieces of vegetables and meat. -Singapore noodles.. Noodles, curry and 3-4 shrimps 3 pieces of chicken. They didnt put onions or peppers. Lack of curry and sesame seeds as well. All the dishes were completely lacking in taste and had a stomach ache afterwards. Last time for us.

Failed Mothers Day!!! $70 in the trash... and son sick after the meal. Meals dating back a day or two... from re..re...reheated.combo no.2 for two people...quantities clearly insufficient for the price! fried rice reheated in the microwave in its plastic container the green one.... the smallest... which it had taken the shape... so not fresh... contained only rice and oil and soy sauce.... nothing else... inedible slimy! And Soft eggroll... 2 only for a meal for two people. Won ton soup without any greens Beef with broccoli... the only thing that was edible... but minimal quantity! Untasted ribs... because after tasting the à la carte meals... I threw everything away because I was disgusted and afraid of being poisoned. Bland a la carte Singapore noodles... with 4 small pieces of chicken. No peppers or Chinese cabbage, very rare pieces of onion and.... a few small shrimp with questionable taste so not fresh... I stopped eating at the first bite. As for the Cantonese chow-mein on the menu too.... noodles... noodles only noodles and these overcooked noodles... then burned when fried in the wok... blackened crust with a bitter taste so not roasted but really burned. At the bottom, 4 pieces of onion... 6 florets of broccoli... some shrimp that werent fresh and a little thickened broth. For an a la carte meal... its a steal! For us... its over... we will never go to this place again.

The food is very ordinary and lacks taste. I preferred the previous restaurant. We ordered WonTon soups which were good as well as the peanut butter dumplings but the other dishes were very disappointing. Chicken with black beans: lack of taste and seasoning as well as the quantity of black beans was almost not present. Beef with Bok Choy: none, no Bok Choy, the same black bean sauce that was in the chicken dish. A mistake, perhaps, or perhaps a lack of ingredients in the kitchen so were going to pass the dish with a black bean sauce.... The beef had a weird, rubbery texture. Shrimp with lobster sauce: the sauce was good but the shrimp itself lacked taste. Its been a few years (since 2017) since we last ate at HoHo and last night we decided to place a take out order - unfortunately we wont be going there again.

Meal was very tasty. Quantity adequate. Waitress staff very pleasant Courtney and Mary are fabulous and very friendly. .

This restaurant is sensational. The owner Ben is very nice! The food is very delicious. I recommend the lunch special (which is also served in the evening): several choices and not expensive. Dessert (sliced oranges and fortune cookies) are included in the price. I recommend! By the way, I live nearby and go there often. Very good!!! He accepts take-out orders. Its a shame its not open for dinner though.

Food was tasty! Fried beef rice noodle was the best among the Chinese restaurants on the south shore (every I go, I also include this dish). Services were fantastic. The only downside was no tea.

Service is good, but the food is not authentic chinese food. Also the dishes lack vegetables and they are 90% onion or bean sprout. Meat in the dishes is not abundant either. Maybe they had some shortage of ingredients the time I ate there, I dont have other explanation. Food

Ouffffff not a good and pleasant experience! Service with a baby in arms throughout! Not great! But hey I tell myself that it s probably a security problem so ok we ll make do! No air conditioning . I say to myself boffff were going to do without it anyway! Plates arrive My god it doesnt get any better (one of the two plates Much too salty . I say to myself have they missed the pocket of salt in it and the pieces of chicken PIECES OF CRUNCHY 1/2 . Then for the another plate a little too salty especially for a General Tao!!!!!!!!! Quite ordinary as a result of this Thursday evening dinner!! This was my last visit . I had already tried this Restaurant in the past, it seems 1 or 2 years ago but I didnt remember the final conclusion... Now Im writing a review to help me remember not to come there again! Wow

Friday I went for the first time to get a pad thai take out, and frankly its the worst pad thai Ive eaten, taste not very good, and the most frustrating thing is that I almost hurt has a tooth 3 times because there were pieces of shrimp scales and other hard things that I spit out from the tip of my tongue . Yuck I threw it in the trash

Small restaurant discovered quite by chance. Really good pad thai, slightly spicy. General Tao super crispy and so awesome. Perfect wonton soup. Super fast service and I dont know if it was the owner who served me but he was in such a good mood and seemed really happy to serve us. Its very rare now to have such good service. Thanks for the meal.

Great neighbourhood Chinese food. Decent pricing. Bring your own wine may I add. The service was pleasant and efficient. And best part of our 1st visit is our 2 toddler boys ate and tried new things.

Been living in the area of Ho Ho for a few years and never went before. I cant believe it took me so long to try it. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We tried Combo 2, which has classic fare, like fried rice and General Tao. Everything was fresh and made in-house, very tasty. Will definitely go back.

A few years ago when we ordered Chinese for two, we got it for four. Now an order for two, you will get for two no more and despite that the prices have kept up with inflation. Otherwise the dishes were good but not impressive. Just okay.

This place is literally around the corner from my house so I gave it a try. The portion size was perfect for me, the sesame beef I had was tasty and the gentleman who took my order was so friendly and polite. I ll be ordering from Hoho Candiac again.

I ordered a takeout order. The employees are very welcoming and respectful. No complaints about the general hygiene of the restaurant and employees. Beef with broccoli: I didnt really like it. The beef is very fatty and lacks meat, which gives it quite a bouncy texture. You dont taste much in the dish. It clearly lacks seasoning. 1/5 Noodle and wonton soup: The soup is very generous (a lot of food for the amount of water), but unfortunately there is the same problem as with the beef with broccoli: the broth does not taste much and must be salty by hand. 3/5 Pad thai: Very good, nothing to complain about. May lack sauce to your taste if you are used to the very saucey pad thai at Thaï Express. 4/5 Mapo tofu: Very good too. The peas are still firm, which gives a very good texture with the very soft tofu. The spice level is tolerable for everyone and does not spoil the tasting (perhaps lacking in spice for those who expected more from a typically Sichuanese dish). 4/5

Went for take out. Got home. Set everything up for a meal and dove in. What a delight. Everything was hot, fresh and tasty. And unlike many other so called Asian cuisine restaurants, every dish of the combo had a truly distinctive taste! Could of added an extra couple of egg rolls in the combo though... But hey, even the fortune cookies taste better than anywhere else! Oh, and service at the counter was impeccable: courteous and generous. Highly recommend this joint.

I give 4 stars heres why: the wonton soup is very good, the eggrolls could be improved in my opinion, the chicken chop suey is very good (it was not overcooked and the taste was good), the chicken with pineapple and cherry sauce is very good (the taste was delicious), the chicken fried rice is tasty and the spiribs taste excellent but I would have liked them more tender and in a slightly more consistent sauce! All the dishes were hot thats it which I enjoyed! Please note, these are Americanized Chinese dishes! The little restaurant was very clean and the employees were extremely friendly!

Good Chinese cuisine restaurant but nothing more. With Googles reviews, my expectations were high. However, I was disappointed by the quantity. We were three adults, we had a combo plus an extra main and another extra side. The quantities are not like the stereotypes of Chinese restaurants, we had not run out of food but we had been fair. For the price, I found it expensive compared to the quantity, rate of $18 per person, with no leftovers. However, the food was good and the restaurant premises very clean.

HoHo-Horrible. Padthai had no taste. The général tao tasted like they mixed the beuf a lorange sauce with the gt sauce. Plus my daughter got food poisoning after eating here. Actualy, We all didnt feel good all night.

Wow...excellent food, excellent service. We ordered a ton of food because one of the reviews here said the portions were small. I m seriously wondering where they actually ate because our servings were huge! The three of us ordered Soup, Peanut butter dumplings, chicken wings, General Tao chicken, Fried rice, Cantonese style noodles (chow mein), Garlic Beef and Brocoli beef. All was fresh, hot and excellent. We ended up taking home enough food for another meal! The owner, Ben was warm and welcoming and very sweet. We have found our new favorite restaurant!

The staff was friendly but the food was just horrible.. Sorry for the bad review, but I just dont understand the 5 star reviews. Yes the portions are big, but all of it went in the garbage. There are much better Chinese restaurants around if you look.

Got there at 17:30 out by 18:15 felt very rush. Worst mothers day supper.

A beautiful little place, with parking, excellent service, the most delicious Asian food, very clean place and the toilets are as clean. The portions are very generous, for example if you each order a dish you will eat until you are no longer hungry and will have leftovers to feed one more person as well as you! Really for fans of Asian cuisine I highly recommend this place!
