no napkins, no ustensils but good coffee and pastries
They have plugs so I could conveniently charge my e-bike while enjoying their delicacies.
It is the second time that a employee has an attitude, today even noticed that she called me tabarn.. between lips while looking at other waitress. After I asked to warm up a bread that looked really whitish and than change my idea after my kid changed his. Asked her to do not heating it up but she didn't listen I guess. Well, it is probably the last time I will be coming here as the Bread is not as good as it used to be.
Came by for a coffee, came out with a delicious sandwich.
Discriminates against disabled people. The store is not serving people that can't wear a mask due to a disability. I wrote them an email about it stating that it is a violation of the Canadian Human Rights Act. This is the answer I got from the owner: C’est mon choix et je vie très bien avec ça. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I am not a picky person but the coffee tasted watery and a little over priced. I had an almond croissant which was tasty....but kind of small for the price. I also bought a couple of raisin buns, but again, very small for the price and very dry. In general, I found it a little expensive for what you get. Maybe I'll try it again one day.
Enjoyed the almond cream croissant. Cute facade with front terrace...very welcoming. I was unfortunately disappointed with the bread selection...I was hoping for more options. A comment on the young girl serving us on Sunday...she was nice, however, seemed extremely uneasy about answering questions like whether a bread was a sourdough type or not. Overall, I was not very impressed with the experience. Sorry.
Very cozy little place with delicious bread and sandwiches. The coffee was very good as well. It has a patio with a good number of seats and with shade at certain spots. The croissant sandwich sand Wich was really good. You can really taste the butter and it was really crispy because of it being heated.
For me it was a must-see in Chambly. I went there in particular for their flank steak sandwich and the salmon sandwich, but now there are almost never any, only the new sandwiches, much less good. At least the bread and pastries are still there.

Very disappointed with this establishment. Panini not grilled, brunch sandwich stuffed with mustard, inedible. Nothing today looked like the photos shown here. In addition, the toilet was out of order . The terrace is pleasant, the coffees and chai were delicious.

Very nice place with delicious breads, pastries and croissants. The welcoming terrace also makes it an excellent place to spend a pleasant time in good company! The downside which is easily correctable is the noisy refrigerator in the dining room . Either change it, repair it or put it in another place . Add a bit of color to the walls (painting or frame from a local artist) more USB sockets or not (bring it up to date). But it s still a place to try
The change in administration is becoming more and more evident unfortunately. The modifications of the products and the incorporation of bacon in several of them, its a different signature that suits me less. Pastries and breads remain safe values. It is sad to note that since the new administration, a constant and latent decline has taken place in the products of the (formerly) François Garde-Manger. Reduflation and deskilling are very present here. Having bought 1-2 pastries/breads per week for almost 10 years, sometimes at Ferme Guyon, occasionally at the boutique, its been day and night since the sale of the business. I understand inflation, the high interest rates on the loan to buy the business, the fiscal year to make it profitable, but the quality is declining, the toppings are fading, the quantity is dwindling... But where is the chocolate in chocolatines? 5-6 grains, in the corner, right there. We reduce the size of the pastries by 15-20%. The almond which becomes the raremandine... It is therefore not surprising that Ferme Guyon has chosen to put an end to this partnership, as the products are released less and less. The decline of a renowned Chambly institution. Being the previous owner, I would see myself in my entrepreneurial grave. Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything is transformed... into something smaller . Its not too late, I guess. == Super courteous and attentive service. De-bi-les pastries. A morning essential in the Chambly region for over 10 years.

Ive been going there for years, from the time of the former owner and founders. The staff is simple, accessible and warm. The pastries and bread are always delicious. Great place, warm staff, delicious croissants and breads. A must go to.
Coffee and food are excellent and perfect.
Wow for the latte, wow for the brioche, wow for the bread and wow for the large terrace and whats more you can choose between being in the shade or in the sun (I went there around 2 p.m.) Even if its a little far from home, I will go back. But please, open a branch in Longueuil!

What delicious chicken sandwiches, impeccable service. Didnt care about the taste of the salad. Pastry that comes with the meal is really fresh but too sweet for my taste, I gave it to my partner. Highly recommend this place, our first visit to Chambly.

There are very good things to eat I like it

We ordered vegetarian dishes: pizza, pasta salad and a broccoli and cranberry salad, the latter contained very small pieces of bacon (the vinaigrette hid the texture) and the label on the box vegetarian salad, we are left with! very unfortunate Take everyones choices and tastes seriously and if you dont know what your recipes contain, take the time to ask the cooks and dont say anything and that its vegetarian.
I stopped there by chance for dinner during my bike ride and it will definitely be my favorite stop when I go to Chambly from now on! I had a hard time choosing because everything looked so good, but the ham and cheese sandwich in the croissant was really delicious, as were the salad on the side and the date square. I now dream of trying the other desserts and especially the almond croissants and the brioche which looked incredible.

We ate croissant and gouffre well but its a shame that they dont offer gluten-free solutions. For the rest, beautiful atmosphere, terrace (yes again in November) open and sunny

This morning I went there for croissants and 2 baguettes. The croissants are very good, but the baguettes were not fresh, they were probably from the day before. A little disappointed.
Pastries and croissants to make the competitors pale. The customer service is also exceptional.
At each visit. The employees are really happy to see the customers. Always wonderful service. A lady, an employee, welcomes you with a big smile (under her mask), is friendly and understands what you want, but I know its wonderful! Thank you very much for your services!

Pleasant staff and good quality bread and pastries. Nice selection of frozen products. Their coffees arent the best. Small terrace at the front (when available) and above all 2 minutes walk from the Cascade Park.

François has nothing to envy of Parisian bakeries, a croissant with remarkable flakiness with a soft and very present taste of butter. The place is charming and the staff very welcoming. A great way to spend a weekend morning. The coffee is also very good. In short, a must-see in Chambly!

Excellent is the only adequate term... There are no pastries of this caliber on the South Shore (or even in Quebec!?). Just the idea of apricots makes me get up at 7 a.m. on Sundays. By the way, try the croissants: your taste buds will thank you

Nothing is equivalent to the croissants from François. They are unique! The crunchiness and flakiness of its butter croissants is worthy of the best. All are handmade with excellent ingredients. The pastries are just as exquisite. In addition, its catering service is just as impeccable in taste, quality and freshness (soups, salads, tarts, quiches, pâtés, etc.) In short, going there means opting for quality first and foremost.
