Le Vieux Bourgogne in Chambly

Terrible The waitress is alone on a weekend lunchtime. It still takes a while before she comes to see us. The meals do not arrive at the same time and 3 people out of 7 have to wait more than 10 minutes to receive our hamburgers. These are dry. They forget our poutine. Chicken wings have a strong fishy smell. And while we try to explain to the chef that we feel there is a problem with the product, he tells us that he is going to eat them! Without offering to make them again and in addition staring at us all the rest of the time we eat. Never again

I am deeply disappointed by my recent visit to Vieux Bourgogne. I ordered a $2 pogo, thinking it was a quick and easy choice. However, after more than 20 minutes of waiting, my order was still not ready. When I approached the waitress to see how long it would take, she responded with a rude attitude. Due to my schedule I was late for work and due to his attitude, I ultimately decided to leave without my pogo, thinking that maybe it hadnt even been started. I was ready to pay anyway, but the waitress came running out and screaming, accusing me of wanting to leave without paying my bill. Worse yet, she ran into the kitchen to inform the chef that I was trying to steal, for no good reason. Despite my repeated attempts to explain to her that I had no problem paying and simply couldnt wait any longer, she continued to yell at me in an aggressive and disrespectful manner. I have never been treated with so much disrespect in an establishment. I tried to make her understand that I just wanted to be treated with courtesy, but she turned her back on me and continued to speak unpleasant words to me. Its a shame, because the setting of this bar is very pleasant, and I have been a regular customer for a long time, often coming with family and friends. After this experience I will not go back nor recommend this place. Such mistreatment of customers is unacceptable and seriously tarnishes the image of the establishment.

I went there with my brother and really big surprise, very good atmosphere and efficient and very friendly service. Very pleasant clientele and billiards if necessary. I recommend and I will return there before returning to France...

First time Ive spent the evening on a terrace and the waitress hasnt come to see us. Lack of staff? We went to the bar ourselves to get our drinks even though the waitress outside was serving customers. First and last time for me at this place.

Still a nice place but for me its too many comings and goings and too much traffic in front. The beer was lukewarm and a waitress asked for cash and made us feel bad about paying. My overall experience is still satisfactory.

It would be nice to mention that the menu photos were taken elsewhere! Really disappointed with the quality of the food and really overpriced for frozen food!!!

Near the water in Chambly with large terrace. SEVERAL CHOICES OF BEERS AND I CHOSE THEIR FAMOUS BLOODY CAESAR. ON-SITE OWNER WHO MANAGES HIS PREMISES WELL!

Kind of formerly old village hotel, dark and dilapidated. We waited over 35 minutes for two poutines. It was the best thing on the menu...

As there are several pool tables it is an ideal place to have a good time with friends playing pool while having a drink.

My poutine was made with cheddar cheese and not traditional poutine cheese. I have a refund (without taxes).

Nice place but I advise you to find your place there and maybe it will be the best place for you who knows?

If I could give no stars, quite a unique restaurant, really not inviting. My date and I arrived, no one to welcome us, we go inside, a lady at the cash register sees us, not a hello, nothing.....she passes by us, I call out to her and still nothing, unless shes deaf, its not like she hadnt seen or heard us and yet a man sitting at the bar was talking to her just before. Finally, a waitress comes in and sees us and tells us to follow her. His welcome was not great, and lets say after the cold reception from the other, my date and I simply left. I would say more, but oh well. Restaurant not recommended, not inviting, the waitresses totally lack class and education. We went to another restaurant further down, even better service and welcome, and what can we say about the food, impeccable...

A warm place, everyone knows each other and is friendly. Evening shows every weekend. Outstanding owner. 4 pool table, electronic dart game, dancing on weekends... You will find fun there for sure

After a visit to Fort Chambly we went to the Restaurant Le Vieux Bourgogne, there were around twenty of us. Total disappointment, on the other hand the waitress was nice, the problem wasnt there, the drinks arrived quickly, then it got bad. First, after looking at the menu, first question what kind of soup do you have, answer, no soup, then I send you the meals that were ordered with everyones comments. Nachos: Burnt on one side. Hamburger Steak: Small meatball, sauce that was sweet, frozen peas, coleslaw probably passed because no one ate. Chicken Salad: 3 small pieces of 1cm were counted. Hamburger Steak: 2-People wanted mashed potatoes, only one person had enough left! Poutine: The person I asked for said it was good and the sauce was unsweetened, strange that its not the same sauce in Hamburger Steak where this person likes sugar! And I stop there! Last thing: I didnt go to the toilet but the people who went there all said it was really disgusting and terrible! Unless there is an announcement with a change of owner, I will definitely never go back.

We liked the food even though the menu is very limited. We were able to return with our 2 small dogs in their bags, a Chihuahua and a Yorkie. All the other terraces had refused us admission. Beautiful afternoon.

5 minutes and we had a beer...and ordered the food.....After 1 hour of waiting, our waitress disappeared and I had to go to the bar to find out where our food was...I was told stupidly; an impossible hour and I was told it wouldnt be long (although we had sipped our beer and had been dry for a long time). We finally had the food...1/2 canned St-Hubert ribs and potted Catelli style spaghetti. DO NOT EAT THERE.
