Water front harbor Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas 00802, U.S. Virgin Islands
We are a family friendly business. Serving American style food. Largest menu on island. Happy Hour Daily 4:30pm to 7pm. Prime Rib Mondays & Thursdays. Steak Day Wednesdays and Lobster Mania every Tuesday & Friday.
We drove past this place and were like we have to go there and eat! So we did and we’re so happy we did because the service, the atmosphere, the music and the FOOD was all so amazing and was totally a great experience. Hunter was our service, he was attentive and provided excellent service! We stopped by on a Tuesday afternoon :)
Great customer service from our host Kishma and especially our server Sue! The food, though, was okay. The flavor in some dishes were just plain and the food presentation was lacking. Family friendly spot. Nice ocean views and convenient for nearby shopping.
One of the best affordable places to eat on the island. Everything we ordered was really yummy and their specials are awesome. I had the crab stuffed grouper and my partner had the prime rib which was on special. Drink specials are bogo from 5-7! We ended up coming back just for drinks one night. Great view compared to other restaurants downtown as well. I'm giving the atmosphere 3 stars because there is a pretty decent homeless population who hangs around here and begs. I know this isn't the restaurants fault, but when you can smell people while you're eating your dinner, it's kinda rough and I just want people to be aware. I would 100% go back just maybe not sit right next to the open windows.
Great spot for those getting ready to hit the airport (afternoon flight)! Our host on St. John recommended this place. The food really is fantastic, great view of the bay where the cruise ships make port, and only a 5 min taxi ride to the airport (plus the taxis sit right outside the restaurant). Rumor has it that you can even ask them to hold your bags so you can browse the shops before returning for lunch. I ordered the curry lobster with fried plantains and mashed potatoes and WOW it was delicious! My husband ordered the fish sandwich, also very good. Service was a little slow but we kind of expected to be on island time. Just make sure to give yourself an hour and a half to eat
Carol was fantastic. Ask for Carol when you go here. Food is just Soso. I think it's too greasy and not flavorful. Portions are good. Except the 10.00 bread pudding. That was tiny and wild. Sugar must be $80 a pound. Sorry no pictures of the humongous steak and fish.
Was expecting this to be better. The conch fritters were chewy and very little taste. The drinks tasted good. The local lobster was awful. Should have berm hot but was served cold and I sent it back. Then the mashed potatoes are made with plantanes and that was not noted on the menu. Service was terrible. The waiter was doing everything other than taking care of his guests. I had to ask his coworkers to check on our food.
The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was okay. It was really warm and windy inside. I put my hair in a ponytail to try to keep it away from my mouth while I was eating. I ordered a mudslide, and it was really tasty. Bonus - The restaurant is close to shopping and has a beautiful view of the water.
I am usually not one to like seafood, but I tried my husband's stuffed lobster, and it was some of the best I have ever tasted! I ordered prime steak with mashed potatoes, also delicious and cooked perfectly. The waiter was very sweet and quick. The environment was neat with a very pretty view of the ocean and located in a good part of the city. Pricing was fair, and the bar was great as well. Overall, I loved this restaurant and would definitely come back and recommend it.
Food and service was good. bread was awesome. Nice setting next to the bay. Two for one happy hours drink specials Vegetarian options: Very limited. Think it was just Fetticini Alfredo and one other dish Parking: Limited parking so may end up in the alley
Excellent restaurant! Visiting from Puerto Rico (cruise). We all loved the food and service. Will definitely go back!!! Thx! Food
I do not recommend this restaurant. We set at the bar and was not served for over an hour. I realize we were on island time , but we were just ignored! Left and went to another establishments and had a great dinner. They just lost out. We saw others leave also, due to not being served. I am here for 7 more days and will not go back, nor recommend for anyone else! Worse service ever!
Honestly, this place is just blah. The location is good and the atmosphere is ok. The rest is below average. Lobster wrap tasted like it was from a vending machine at a hospital, service was the slowest Ive experienced. If it werent for cruise people (who will most likely never come back and dont expect much), this place wouldnt be in business.
Food was good. Our service person was very nice.
Great choice for dinner. Everything was great.
The view it s beautiful but their customer service it s so slow their food not that good.
This is a tourist restaurant for cruisers. Mediocre food (frozen shrimp, frozen popcorn chicken with sauce), very slow service (we waited an hour for our food and they even missed one persons order). I imagine it only stays in business because its on the main strip near the port.
Love the Greenhouse! This is our traditional first stop when we get to St. Thomas. Two for one drinks (try the capirinias!) And terrific food. The servers are always fun!
You guys were fantastic!
Good food and prices!
Homeless Cat might steal your soul but still cute place
Great selections, nice view to the water. Food and service were excellent. They were open when most food places closed when the ships left.
Great food & atmosphere! Everything seasoned great! We had the fish tacos and boom boom shrimp tacos.
Been going here since I first went in the Navy in 1979. Visit every time I am here. Always Great Staff and Great Service.... Pina Coladas!
EVERY TIME I come to St Thomas, I always stop by here for there wings and 2 for 1 drinks. I love it.
Had a great dinner. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals very much. Our server was very friendly and had great recommendations for the menu. We enjoyed her very much.
Been here again after 2018, Stop with the Harmony of the Seas and Carnival Venezia... Good selection, good food... Staff seems overwhelmed
Great food, many choices. Happy hour is great!
GREAT filet on steak night, and Reuben. 2 for 1 drinks at happy hour was nice too. Good views of the harbor, and fans to stay cool. Absolutely would come back again. Moderately priced compared to the rest of the island.
Some of the best conch fritters.. but they are more of a conch patty than a fritter. 2 for 1 drinks for happy hour Food
Food was good. All 5 of us had salmon. Blackened was the best. Parking: It s very tight parking if you can any. there is some 1hour parking but it will take longer than hour t get in and out. Food : 4/5 |
The burgers are definitely not fresh, they tasted frozen and disgusting. My husband got the grouper sandwich which he enjoyed so stay away from the burgers.
One of the greatest restaurant/bars on St Thomas. Ive many fond memories from Greenhouse. I remember the old bartender, Kenny, of blessed memory. He made the best Bushwacker in the Virgin Islands.
Very good
Good food. Fun place.
My husband loved their crab cakes!
This place had decent food, beautiful view excellent service. Pictures are the view at dusk

Excellent the food was fresh and the flavor was spectacular
Excellent service and dinner was delicious.
Sue...Our waitress was Fantastic! We had questions about sides and she was spot on with what we were looking for. The coconut chicken was Fantastic along With the blackened Mahi sandwich with Mac and cheese which is awesome! The plantains were very good a little sweet! Dont forget to get your painkiller drink in the Metal take home souvenir cup! Will come back just to see Sue!
I ordered a shrimp Cesar wrap with black beans and plantains and everything was on point. Service was very fast and friendly, and the location was a quick walk from our hotel.
Service was very good and the food GREAT!!
I have been 2xs food, and the waitress was good but no fans and no Ac. We all were so hot, at least have fans
Great restaurant right off st johns main street with beautiful water view. They also do take out and ita about half hour wait for pick up. 15 minutes if you dine in
Stopped in on our way to the airport for a quick bite. The food was very good but what made the experience 5 Stars was our waiter, Kamoy. He is wonderful. If you stop in, ask for him.
Had visited on 2 different days.. Lunch and early dinner. The food was good and the establishment nice and clean. Gave 4 stars for rating since lunch time was at opening time and they seemed to be still preparing and dinner was busy and they may have been short staffed.
View of the Caribbean was great. Restaurant had a great selection of choices of food, and we had the sliders and nachos. Both were delicious. Would recommend you try a smoothie. Food : 5/5
Very neat location near waterfront. Service was just okay. Mixed drinks were okay. Conch fritters were good.
We have been to this location several times. Service was less than good. Good was good for the value.
Had a late lunch here with fam. Food and service were excellent. Best lobster I ve ever had! Big menu, so even our picky kids could find something they liked. My daughter loved the mac and cheese so much she licked the bowl clean. Also the view was lovely. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for picky eaters
The taco salad was excellent...the meat was seasoned perfectly. I really liked the staff. The only problem was the wait. Way too long for what we ordered!
Food was good but took over an hour to come out, which is insane since all they have is 1hr parking near there. Many of the side portions are in tiny cups and way too small of portions for the price. Our waitress was nice but idk if she was too overwhelmed or unfortunately kept forgetting us but we had to ask for things 4 or 5 times and several times actually ask another waiter and waitress. Parking: Parking is awful only 1hr parking places and food takes longer than that.
The seafood was pretty mediocre for being right next to the water. We could tell our server was new but she was trying her best. We got a 30oz stuffed lobster and the bang bang calamari. It was OK. I was really hoping to be blown away but meh.
Food and service were both terrible. Would not recommend!! Save your money Food
Very good place to eat! I had the Blackened Mahi Sandwich with plantains and fries...very good. My family had the chicken tenders, pulled pork Sandwich and the Mahi dinner with rice and frys...all good no complaints!
A quiet Wednesday but still cool. Shantelle was our server. Good fresh food, plenty portion - Delicious
Food was pretty good but the service was so bad I wouldn t recommend. Didn t get my appetizer. Asked for A-1 and ranch about 4 times when they brought it out we had already ate everything. Never even got a refill. I would pass. What s even better is you get done eating and you re like there is no way in hell I m tipping. Don t worry they charge you for a tip. So explains why their service is so bad.
Worst seafood I ve ever had. Chewy fish, over cooked calamari l. Best I can say if that the didn t charge me for the over cooked food. Honestly couldn t tell if I was eating chicken or fish, it was that chewy.
Extremely unsafe area. We did not even get out of the car
Had the conch it was really good and a Moscow mule which wasnt in the copper mug they had problems with theft.
I don t think I ve ever written a bad review about a server because my wife and I were in the service industry but this was just really rough today. My wife and I pride ourselves in being very good tippers and A+ customers. I understand people have a bad day but our server Tiffany today was just flat out rude and unpleasant to us today. 15 min to even get her to our table. Another 10-15 to get our waters. When we asked for them again, she said she was waiting on the bartender to make our waters. Keep in mind the restaurant was pretty dead. Then we get to ordering food and that entire process felt like our 1 appetizer and 2 entrees was a hassle for her, not to mention it took another 35 min to get our food after we ordered and our appetizer came out with our entrees. Anytime we said thank you or even smiled it was met with an eye roll and not even a response. The only time I think we ever got more than one word out of her was when she brought the check and knew it was time to tip. After hearing that the greenhouse was one of the top spots to eat on the island, we were left very disappointed.
Very very very bad service please don t waste your money choose to go somewhere else
Looking for a chill spot with great music located in the central part of the island? This is it! Friday nights is lobster night...You cant miss it.
So if your looking for a Schenanigans or Chillis style restaurant, this is your place. The food was pretty good. The service was ok. the poor girl was working as hard as she could, but it was an uphill battle. It was an ok experience overall.
I tried the restaurant and was ok.
An absolutely fantastic experience. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was exactly what you wanted for a chill brach vibe. We went on Tuesday for the lobster special and it did not disappoint. The manager Pat swung by our table and gave us some great information and was all in all just incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. It was easy to get a taxi back to where we were staying. The view from our table let us look out to the dock where we could see boats coming and going. This place was recommended to us by some locals and were so glad we checked it out. Highly recommend.
Wish there was air conditioning. Other than that, we had a great experience!
Friends told me not to eat here, but I did. It was ok to good. Great view! Ok service! Ok food! Prices were tourist high! Good music!
Service was poor, I left
Foods great, the service is always great and double drinks at happy hour.... perfect!!
I m not sure why there are good reviews about this place! The food sucks! Lobster was rubber, bake potato was hard and stale, the drinks were watered down. We waited 45 mins for drinks, didn t even offer us water, we had to ask for water! The power went off, we were eating in the dark. Waitress took sooooo long to bring the food and my pina colada was bad taste like it was sitting there forever water down. Don t waste your time! Go to McDonald s. We are in bed with a stomach ache. Thank me later
The food is great. I had the bang bang shrimp tacos so so good. But just remember everyone is on island time. I do recommend eating here
Great food
Must go to when in st. Thomas.
Excellent service and food, a fixture on my visits to St Thomas.
Food not that great and was told that the lobster was a certain price and when the bill came out they tried to over charge. So then they tried saying they would give the discount but changed our friends bill by adding things from our bill to theres. Wouldnt recommend this place.
Great place to relax and have a good meal.
I been client os this restaurant for more than 10 years i visit Wednesday 17 July and some bartenders call Sandra was the worst experience for me and my family this is the first time thats happen very rude person
the experience we had at this restaurant is one of the worst i have ever received. we walked in as a party of 12, but were seated separately which is understandable. we had one table wait for 1 1/2 hours for food, and when it was time to pay they wanted to charge us with an 18% tip, even though each table paid a separate tab.
We ate here on a whim because it was close and not too busy. The bang bang chicken wrap I had was good, but nothing very unique. They had typical bar kind of food - but a very extensive menu. Service was okay, but we did sit for a very long time waiting on our bill despite not being super busy. Id go again, though
Do not go here!!! The fish is NOT fresh.. if I wanted frozen shrimp I would ve gone to the grocery store and bought some. The mahi was disgusting and the salmon was not great either especially for the money. Drinks were ok but not great, maybe I got the wrong drink but they praised their shrimp tacos and they were disgusting. Save your money we spent $220 on a 1/10 meal. I only ever review somewhere if it was THAT bad and this was that bad.
Ordered a mixed drink, three others at my table got theirs 20 minutes before I did. Ordered a mahi dinner with double fries and double my tail at minimum a single serving worth. Needless to say we are not coming back and I m leaving hungry. Would not recommend this tourist trap.
N o complaints,I would recommend dining there to anyone.
It was ok. Nothing amazing, nothing bad. Would I return, I mean maybe....its location is close to the waterfront. Convenient for sure.
First off the parking was horrendous. It was almost impossible to find a parking spot. Second of all the food was good, but was not worth the 40 min wait. Also please don t order the stuffed grouper. It s an absolute ripoff.$35 for a entree whose bowl was the about the size of a teenagers hand was a ripoff. Next, we bought a nice t shirt and we wanted a large and the worker there wouldn t give us the large shirt that was on display. The food was good, but in my opinion this establishment has bad service and long wait times for food.
Over-rated. Lobster was over priced and underwhelming. Other dishes ok but nothing special. Service super inconsistent. We waited over an hour for any food to arrive on the table while other tables were served sooner. We may have hit them on a bad night, but this restaurant did not live up to its reviews or our expectations.
One of the nicer restaurants we visited on the island as far as casual dining goes. Its open air and a little warm but not too bad on the day we went. Service is on island time as most places but the food was really good. We all got the burger. And the family likes the ice tea better than most places.
Our new favorite place in St. Thomas. Cant wait to come back.
Great comfort food, but they dont know how to cook steak very well.
Ordered a margarita, but they just sat there and stared. Not very good service. Finally got a drink after 20 minutes.
Atmosphere was nice. The service was minimal but ok, at least every plate came out right. The food was of good amount. We asked for vegetarian options they said non but actually does have... the server wanted to leave or that was my impression.
I don t mind waiting for food but I ordered a wrap and watch the tables get sat and served lobster tails steak and a burger , waiting an hr for a wrap is crazy work
Rifa was great, the restaurant save our thoughts of this trip.. She was awesome and wonderfully on point as our waiter great food, great service
The food was amazing! Service was slow and some of the staff wasn t the friendliest. I would go back again with that said though. I hope to re-review in the future.
The menu had a little bit for everyone, from seafood, to steak, to sandwiches and lots of appetizers. You could get a Caribbean inspired dish or something more neutral. Lots of tables. Our service was relatively quick given how busy they were. We liked the look and vibe of the restaurant. Prices seemed fair/good for St Thomas. Parking was a bit tricky, but no worse than anywhere else. We would recommend for a family or with friends. Kid-friendliness: Between the appetizers and sides, our children had plenty of items to choose from.
We liked the food but they need a little more air moving through. It is not enjoyable to drip from sweat as you are trying to eat.
Just an average restaurant. There was nothing to rave about. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, wings, fish tacos, plaintains, and fries. Almost every item we received was bland and lacked seasoning. We would ve been better off going to McDonald s instead of spending $90.00.
Decent food with a good selection.
Greenhouse rules. Anybody touch down St. Thomas, you better not sleep on Greenhouse. Located right on Waterfront, staff is great, and the prices arent as crazy as they could be.
I visited this restaurant because it was recommended by the hotel staff and our cab driver. We did not like the experience from the host to the waiter. The food wasnt bad, but it wasnt the best either. It arrived cold to our table. But the main reason for my rate to this restaurant was the lack of action by the staff.
Trash food, high prices, the worst service Ive ever had, And its steaming hot inside, dont drink the tap water they serve youll have diarrhea for a week
Great views of the cruise ship harbor and very friendly staff! The food is good and the prices are fair.
The service is great and the food is amazing!
Employees didnt seem too happy to be there. Food was good, but service was a bit condescending
Really bad service we waited 2 hours for our food. They served us warm water and didn t give us any napkins or forks when they brought out our food. Eventually we just walked over to the bar and found the napkin s ourselves. The food is at decent but by the time it came it was hard to enjoy because of how tired we were.
It was decent. Nothing too great. Service slow and mediocre
Nice spot for tourists. Not many authentic dishes offered but I had the salmon which I enjoyed. Hubby had the tacos which he did not enjoy much but the staff was kind enough to omit from the bill. Drinks were on point!!! The vibe is upbeat and chill. Staff was friendly but were at the bar and they werent much attentive but it wasnt terrible.
We had conch fritters and Mexican potato skins with pulled pork, amazing!!! didnt plan on it but stumbled upon happy hour, 2 drinks for the price of 1, cant beat that! no exceptions, any drink on the menu qualifies. the Virgin islands island hopping IPA was great. the decor and vibes are great. the service was a bit slow.
Great food and drinks. Sue was an amazing server
Easy to get into the island mood with a great lunch with friends!
It is possible they have a Marcus Pierson piece. It is also possible it is/was a knockoff as there was no associated Myle s story. Lobster tacos were really great.
Great food!
Best Caesars salad and Jamaican jerk seasoning.
I read multiple reviews that the service here was horrible, however the overall rating was good so I thought the food would offset the service. I m normally not very hard to please and can forgive a lot, but when we went here for dinner it took almost an hour to finally get a server and a drink. We ordered 2 rounds of drinks and our dinner as soon as we were greeted at the table. Almost another hour to get our 2 lobsters which was really one lobster, the weight you chose is really half of what you get. After 2 hours (slightly more) and $150 (before tip) we left hungry Thankfully we walked down the street while our driver came to pick us up and ran across a white food truck selling BBQ chicken. They are open from 5pm-9pm, plates start at $12 and it is some of the best BBQ I have had in my life. I live in Texas, which is known for its BBQ and this truck is A+++ If I had a Time Machine, I would have gone to the food truck and skipped Greenhouse all together. The white food truck is in front of the I St. Thomas store if you want to go there (cash only). Can t beat $12/plate here on the island and it is worth twice as much. Greenhouse ownership/management: I really walked in trying to be forgiving of the service, but you really need to secret shop your restaurant to see what the experience is like.
Had the taco salad. Black beans were really well spiced and the guacamole and salsa were good, too. The chips were weak but they were easily crumbled but not scooped. They were also open later which was appreciated when everything else closes kinda early. Overall, just what I needed. Vegetarian options: Theyll remove non-vegan/vegetarian factors from the meal but otherwise it is a typical surf and turf restaurant.
Wildly overpriced, below average food, in a pretty location.
Well prepared simple food, although the menu was extensive. A good choice and well located. Great Pussers Pain Killers
The service was great the ladies were great. My food was excellent.
Carol is an excellent server attentive Made great suggestions Kid-friendliness: Yes
Great food! My family enjoyed mostly seafood sandwiches/wraps and burgers for a weekday lunch. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp and chicken. We paid around $15-20 per person. The portions were appropriate and everything tasted fresh. Our waitress Samantha was lovely Beautiful ocean views with fans but no AC. Wheelchair accessibility: Steps to enter and steps to the bathrooms
Good service and friendly staff. A little humid from the proximity to the sea and open concept. Mahi was a bit well done and dry, tomato on sandwich was kinda sad. Bang bang shrimp had multiple shrimp cooked together in a chunk. 4 stars still, I came an hr within closing, but food just was a miss for this visit. Id for sure go again for the style of resturant and options.
We were a party of 8 and seated immediately with water views. Loved that we came during happy hour 2 for 1 drinks and 3 off appetizers. Food and service was great. Oh they have onsite parking .. Food
We had the Conch Fritters and they were very good. The staff was friendly and quick as it was very busy. The Margaritas were refreshing on a hot day! Food
Locals compare this place to Applebees, which is bad.
Great food. 2 for 1 happy hour.
Im a local here, and I would rather eat at golden corral . The staff are horrible, food is worse. Atmosphere is from 1977
The rib eye steak was cold and turf, serve my soda in a plastic cup, and was angry because I asked for glass.
A must visit when you come to St.Thomas. The ambiance, the people, the food, and the view are just awesome!! Food
Delish local food with awesome staff. Great views of the water.
The restaurant is nice and the service was good. I enjoyed my food , I ordered fish tacos and my husband shrimps tacos and both meals were good. They had a happy hour and we were able to do buy one and get one free drinks.
Our visit to The Green House was nothing short of amazing! From the mouthwatering Bang Bang Shrimp to the delectable Fish Sandwich and Philly Cheesesteak, every dish we tried was bursting with flavor. The Bang Bang Lobster was an absolute standout simply delicious! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was lively, and the ocean views added to the charm. The Green House is a must-visit in the US Virgin Islands!
Great atmosphere
Great food. Family of five all enjoyed our meals. Large menu and great service. Any mistakes were graciously handled. Highly recommend. Great for families.
We happened upon this place when we first got into St. Thomas and glad we did! Great view of the water, friendly staff & tasty food!
The fish and chips and greenhouse burger with mushrooms and all the trimmings were DELISH and REASONABLY PRICED! Minutes from BlueBeard s Castle
Cons: 0) Service is super slow!!! 1) Table was wobbly 2) Saw a really big cockroach 3) Again; Service is really slow (even when it s not crowded) 4) Lots of homeless people around the area 5) Prices are high wrt quality & quantity of food 6) Food was cold/stale; we walked out of the restaurant Pros: 1) It s has the waterfront view 2) Some Appetizers & Drinks are half price during happy hour
Nice enough place on the main road, providing a great view of the bay, or just people watching. Food was kinda average, and the service was okay. Happy hour, so if you order a cocktail, expect them both to come out at the same time. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessibility is to the left side of stairs as you face building.
Included 16% tip; waitress with the purple lips showed annoyance expecting more and yelled at us through the window as we were leaving good riddance . How rude
Good food not too long of a wait
Best jerk chicken! And the 2 for 1 pain killers are a must!
Our waiter Hamilwas awesome!
Bad food and bad service. Plus there were cockroaches and the employees did nothing.
Dont miss happy hour!
The style and location of this restaurant is great. We had high hopes for a wonderful dinner, but sadly the meal was beyond disappointing! We had a group of 6, so we tried multiple items and NOTHING was good. The serving sizes were hilariously small (double order of fries =12 fries), the lobster special was like eating rubber. They pre-add the tip to the bill so despite only seeing our server twice, we were forced to pay a large tip that was not earned. I would highly recommend eating somewhere else!
6 adults + a 4 year old and 18 month old were welcomed and seated swiftly. 4:30 pm -7:00 was BOGO on all drinks. Great service and kid friendly despite having no childrens menu. The food was excellent ! We would go back again
Great place for painkillers!
Great menu to choose from. Sandwiches to seafood and everything in between. Everything tastes great!
Right on the waterfront
Great spot good food
Drinks were watered down. Micro portion sizes. My girlfriend got her food 30 minutes after the rest of the party. Hostess was very rude and rolled her eyes when we asked to be seated. Server seemed like she was trying at times. Not worth the money.
The best is HAPPY HOUR 16.30 TO 1800
We met Dan and Conan. Our bartender was incredible and the staff in top notch. Omg they had prime rib on the freaking menu!!! Conan was so educational to us and we look forward to his visit to Texas. This is a six star place that is very local.
This was the first restaurant my husband and I visited on our honeymoon. Everything about it was wonderful. You have to try the conch fritters!!! They were the BEST. I ordered the Creole shrimp with the veggie of the day and plantains - everything was bursting with flavor. Husband got the blackened grouper with rice and garlic bread. We also enjoyed our first Painkiller made with Pussers Rum. The drinks were very strong and tasted great. Parking: We got very lucky with parking. Only one spot was open for the 1 hr parking. Make sure you pay attention to the time limits on signs because theyre all different!
Great view of the bay. Excellent service. Calamari, pulled pork sliders, and goat cheese salad were all very good. Locals beers available, and reasonably priced.
Loved it great food a drinks staff awesome
Great option for casual dining. Our waitress, Kiki, was very attentive and a joy!
Slightly over priced
Happy hour was great.
found this place with the recommendation of the Lindbergh hotel. great food and great employees. though the service is alittle slow you have to remember your on an island and just look out and enjoy the view of the ocean across the street.
Welcoming place with good food.
Always room for improvement!
Sloooow service. The food is okay, nothing to call home about.
Our food was cold and not very good. Our drinks were mostly ice and very weak.
It feels like a very touristy spot. The food was all right. The bang bang shrimp was good though. Service was a bit slow because it was pretty crowded.
My wife and I came home (for her) to visit and try new places that have opened since her last visit. We were seated promptly and the atmosphere was relaxing with an amazing view of the harbor. Parking was somewhat challenging as there is limited free parking. We came during happy hour and for the 2 for 1, however we wished they would have staggered the drinks as by the time we got to the 2nd drink it was mostly melted. We both had chicken wings that were good well and seasoned. We also tried the Mexi-skins which were tasty, but the food was average and slightly over price for the quality received.
As a former chef and front of house staff for many years I absolutely hate leaving negative reviews for small businesses! But certain things cannot be overlooked. We came here on a weeknight and were greeted by an incredibly overwhelmed hostess, when the restaurant was only 1/4 full and there was no one but us waiting to see a host. She vented to us that folks were being impossible tonight , which I empathized with and told her I get it! . This was the least of my concerns Moments after being seated my partner noticed a large palmetto roach running across the floor. We are on an island, and it s basically an outdoor restaurant. We decided to place our order to go and hedge our bets that it was a one off. Then, we noticed several other roaches crawling up the wall, and under other tables. The waitress was made aware by another table, while the restaurant manager stood near the bar and watched and did nothing. I didn t expect ghost busters to show up, but come on down and stomp out a few bugs so your patrons can try to salvage their meal or drinks. Our to go meal was mediocre at best- my near 30$ chicken caesar salad came in a styrofoam container with only one side full, so essentially a half order, and our quesadilla order was wrong- even said on the bill veggie, and when we opened it, it was chicken. Server was a sweet young woman- kudos to her for keeping her cool and being courteous. Overall- a pretty gross and underwhelming experience. Better food available and cleaner floors elsewhere.
Food was good! Steak was very good Service was slow...even with the building being pretty empty.
Short staffed so refills are not a thing. I came here twice and the 1st time the waitress dropped the tarter sauce in my lap. The food is good, bt dont go in hungry because you will be waiting awhile
Be aware: The two for one drinks are both served at the same time!! Terrible idea and the drinks were terrible (way too strong) The server could see on our tiny table that neither of us drank either of our two drinks. I do have to say, the shrimp were delicious, or I was half drunk off of either of my drinks Service was ok. I did notice they seat everyone to the right side of the restaurant by the windows. Great strategy, it always looks full. I don t want to discourage people from going here I just want everyone to be aware!
We have been here numerous times, go during happy, hour even the shakes are bogo! Our regulars are the Crab Cakes, Lobster Thermidor, and The Jerk Chicken Wrap with Plantains. We have been with as little as two people and a group of 7, service and food has always been great.
Great food downtown, awesome location.
The happy hour is the best!! Two for one drinks between 3pm - 7pm. The service is laid back and friendly. The food is good and the view is awesome
My husband and I, are on vacation at Charlotte Amalie area, and decided to go to the Greenhouse for happy hour around 6:15pm yesterday (2/15/2024) and the hostess was speaking on the side of the stairs with a client (seems that they knew each other well enough) about getting her in trouble unintentionally, this happened while we were waiting in front of the booth, then she was heading to speak to someone (potentially the manager) and then realized we were there and she was noticeable upset. So, she had an attitude with us to begin with and was not even welcoming. After few tries of getting seated at a table that was less crowded and breathable (bc it was really hot even with the many fans), we got a table but we decided to leave due to her attitude towards us due to her behavior and lack of welcoming manners. The place seems to be a to go place, but her attitude was a turned off. Another, issues, as she pretended to looking for a table to sit us, one of the wrapped silverware felt on the floor near her hosting stand, she was expecting me to pick it up for her she made a stupid comment (you could have picked that up), to what I said, sorry I could have picked up, but her attitude was so nasty that I said, but I don t work here. I m at this place to pay for our meal and service and not to do her job. That kind of attitude is repulsive and if she wanted to be a nice host, regardless of what had happened before, where obviously she got in trouble, then we would have stay. You don t treat visitors and guest to your restaurant like they are unwelcome. Bad business. Going back to first impressions and wanting your customers to go back, I have so many options to go eat that we end up going to a beautiful and peaceful area by the water and enjoy a great dinner listening to country music!!
Nice spot to stop for a drink. We enjoyed our strong cocktails and tasty lobster and fish sandwiches. Loved the plantains on the side!
Nice food, great service.
Great bar and friendly staff. Happy hour every day 16:30 - 19:00.
Came to eat around 5:15 didn t get food until about 6:30. There were many tables open, not very busy. Ordered the lobster special, lobster was incredibly over cooked, so tough to cut it, we were shaking the entire table. Got a small scoop of mashed potatoes and a salad size of maybe 20 pieces of lettuce. Server we saw maybe 3 times through the evening. Go to the KFC next door and you ll leave much happier.
Would give negative stars if possible, food was absolute trash. Service was trash. Seemed like because gratuity was already included for a group the effort to actually have a personality as a waitress was no longer required. My pork nachos were a plate of 50+ tortilla chips with maybe 1/2 a scoop of dry pork. Bang bang shrimp wrap was also a let down. Just overall felt like a tourist trap on steroids and insanely overpriced for the value. Save your money
