3525 Honduras St, St Thomas 00802, U.S. Virgin Islands
Vibrant eatery serving eclectic comfort meals with Caribbean flair & global wines in a cozy setting.
Plating was beautiful but the food itself was below average. Fish tacos only had crumbles of fish in them and even with the slaw they were only 1/3 filled. And why wouldn't they toast the tortillas? Or at least heat them up?
Loved this place! Had lunch while in town with a cruise. The lion fish was amazing! Expertly prepared with great flavors. Just needed smaller portions so we could have had room for dessert. I would have taken a whole pie back to the ship if I could. Service was terrific! Atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable. Hope to come back soon.
Incredible food! We were almost shocked how good the food was. These people know how to cook. Large portion sizes and amazing quality. Beautiful atmosphere with a candle and very nice furniture. They even provide a back pillow for the bench seats. We had the piccata chicken and the garlic bread. I want to go back and try more dishes.
Good restaurant within walking distance to our hotel. We arrived shortly after opening and had the restaurant to ourselves. Nice atmosphere with impeccable service! The Lionfish and Chips were ok, Chicken Caprese sandwich was awesome.
Cute wine bar. Food was good and reasonably priced. Wait staff was friendly. See pictures.
Rolled into The Twisted Cork Cafe (TTCC) for dinner on our first night in St. Thomas. After a long day of travel, a small flight delay, really buffeting winds aloft… we were ready for a very relaxed, enjoyable dinner, with a good bottle of wine! We had not made a reservation for dinner due all the unforeseeable things that can happen on a long travel day. We looked for a highly rated place within walking distance of our hotel, and viola, TTCC popped up. So glad the online reviewers were on point for this place. Totally laid back place, not at all crowded on a Friday evening at dinner time… fantastic service and fare included! TTCC is not a big place, seating in a front bar area and a more traditional dining room in the back. We were initially seated in the back dining room, but with multiple AC units pumping the room with cold air, we opted for the less chilly front room… we had that room to ourselves the entire meal! The back room got pretty crowded as the evening wore on, but TTCC was able to easily able to accommodate the walk-ins. Most of the tables have a small, but real, oil lamp on them… very cute, nice touch! Service was great, attentive but not intrusive. In the spirit of the islands we started with a shared rum punch. We anticipated the sweetness, no surprise there, it was darn good. We figured we’d be having fresh seafood, so we opted for a Folonari Pinot Grigio, which was presented at the perfect temperature, and paired very well with the food we ordered. TTCC is more of a wine bar, the wine list, while not exhaustive, is a thoughtful collection of the primary varietals from the old and new worlds, with a nice little selection of bubbles if you want that. First up was a nightly special, Caribbean Seafood Chowder (think cioppino in Northern CA, Phil’s Fish Market in Castroville, CA, has killer ciopinno… if you visit, you can by a T-shirt with the recipe on it, to make it at home… it’s a day’s work, but worth it!). The TTCC chowder was full of a variety of fresh seafood, a tomato-based soup with lots of fresh veggies and wonderfully spiced. TTCC has an onsite herb and vegetable garden where many of their ingredients originate! Delish chowder! For entrees we decided to share the lionfish piccata and the fried grouper sandwich. The lionfish was firm, tender and plentiful. A very generous portion, fried to perfection, served with rice and fresh broccoli. The piccata sauce was wonderful. The grouper sandwich was equally good. Another generous portion of fish, lighted battered, fried to crispy, served on French bread with a little mayo, a few capers, thinly sliced red onion and romaine lettuce… heaven on a bun! The side of duck fat fried pomme frites was amazing! Served piping hot (as ordered) served with truffle aioli… amazing! Next up dessert! Based on prior reviewer comments, there was only one dessert to get… ballpark pie! The huge piece of pie features all your memories from the ballpark … peanut butter mousse on a graham cracker-pretzel crust. Topped with chocolate ganache, peanuts, whipped cream, caramel and chocolate sauces and cracker jacks. What an ending to an awesome meal! Not sure we’ll have time to dine at TTC.C again during our short visit on the island, but we’d definitely go back! They’re open for lunch and dinner Mon-Thurs, closed Sat and Sun. Highly recommend The Twisted Cork Cafe.
My fiancé & I googled places to eat on our vacation and this restaurant did not disappoint. Everything we had was delicious. His steak was cooked & seasoned to perfection. We were way to full for dessert but look forward to going back and saving room for it because they all looked amazing!
We had a wonderful dinner here - the portions were massive (almost unnecessarily so), flavors and textures were incredible, and it was a wonderful way to end our trip. Highlight for me was the salmon risotto, hands down. The salmon was cooked to perfection - still soft and practically melt in your mouth in the center. The risotto was not too overpowering. And I loved the onion crisps - the crunchiness balanced out the dish.
Amazing place in French Town.. wonderful staff, great food..
Visited while on vacation from Ohio. Awesome food and service. Thanks for having us.
Fantastic food, nice portions, smiling staff.
The best food ever! Jason kills it. Ate here when I lived on island and always when I come back to visit. Amazing!!!
We love coming to Twisted Cork at least once a week. The food is always amazing. Jasons creations for Happy Hour are so delicious and well-priced. Happy hour is from 5 to 6 pm. The bartenders are so friendly and accommodating. You should check it out!
Exceptional on all counts, including swapping grouper for lionfish in the fish tacos.
You cant go wrong with this place trust me....... Lion fish was amazing!
Wonderful food and an attentive staff.
Very accommodating with orders, great customer service
The Twisted Cork in French Town was an unexpected delight. Our dinner plans fell through and we found this restaurant at the last minute. Wonderful food. Great desserts. Extensive wine menu. And a happy, family-oriented atmosphere.
An amazing meal
Great everything. Lion fish is amazing
Cozy restaurant in Frenchtown. Be sure to specify tap water unless you dont mind paying $7.00 for a bottle of water. Food was pretty good, but not great.
my sister and i came here after traveling back to the states. everything from the atmosphere to the service to the food was AMAZING. our server was wonderful gave us great recommendations on the menu/wine list & even called us a taxi :) i highly recommend stopping in here for an intimate dinner or just a casual afternoon. i hope to be back next time i m in St Thomas! vegan crab cake is delicious. a must try
Went for lunch and it was delicious and fresh! The shrimp po boy sandwich was amazingggg, the burger was cooked perfectly to temp and we split a house salad.
Best snapper on the island. Nice ambiance.
Beth was amazing. Dinner was great - wine selection is surprisingly broad. We ordered one of each dessert chocolate torte won best overall.
I love twisted cork for many reasons. My top are for their chicken piccata, open on Monday when most places are closed, and a great wine selection. Go here!
We went twice it was so amazing! I had lamb chops both times, they were too good to pass up (special). My wife had a fried grouper Sammy and a pan fried snapper (special) which were both phenomenal too! Garlic bread was tasty and the chocolate torte was lava cake like and delectable. I don t think you can go wrong with anything here. Service was amazingly friendly too. Only open M-F for limited hours, make sure to stop in!
Thank you immensely for such a profoundly decadent/pleasurable experience. Nevertheless, I visited the establishment, courtesy of my significant other as a blank canvas. Every item I indulged in sent my endorphins into a welcome frenzy inducing food euphoria. Im still basking in my entrée and dessert meal inebriation. Hence, I would like to extend the utmost highest accolades to Bethy and the Twisted Cork team inclusive of the chef that crafted my cooked vegetable entrée for with homespun/house made fries, topped off with literally the quintessential flourless chocolate torte that warrants 10 stars on a scale of 5. What. A. Pleasant. Surprise that knocked me down in an utmost complimentary way. Needless to say, Im spreading the word and looking forward to returning.
My friends and I walked into this café thinking it was a coffee shop and man were we in for a surprise. This elegant place served up some delicious food. I highly recommend the vegan crab cake, it was arguably better than authentic crab cake. 10/10 recommend.
We stopped here while on a cruise. I booked 2 adults and 2 kids a couple months prior to going. I pictured a place on a hillside overlooking the water. It wasnt that but it was EXCELLENT! Mary and Marga were our waitress and were outstanding. We were literally the only non locals in this place. The food was fresh and so good. We had the Buffalo shrimp which was a hit for everyone. Then the grouper...having been a Florida resident for many years, I cant recall having grouper that good. Mary even called a taxi for us as we walked from the ship, only 1.4 miles but it was hot. If we lived here, wed be regulars. Thank you Mary and Marga for being so awesome!
Came here for the great reviews, thought it was average food and weird service. Felt sales-y. We got the garlic bread, calamari, pork chop, and salmon. More upscale than something like Greenhouse
Super friendly but chill atmosphere. Perfect for anyone into wines.
We originally didnt have an intention of stopping in, but the circumstance of a previous failed outing brought us to Twisted Cork. We got in early at about 6 pm and the place was really lovely. Our wait staff were extremely genuine and welcoming. We got to exchange stories and origin to some of the staff and had a few laughs. My girlfriend had the burger, which came with bacon jam, and it is apparently one of the best burgers shes ever had. I ordered the lionfish basket, which was also very good, and unfortunately, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Im also one of the few people who seem to enjoy coleslaw, and Im telling you, their coleslaw is the best on the island by far.
Great food and wine selection. Rustic decor is a change of pace to the typical island seaside style. We had the stuffed mushrooms, Caesar salad and sea bass. We split everything and the salad and main were served split plate - a nice touch. All were delicious. Service was attentive despite the busy night. Wine selection is broad with reasonable prices.
It was nice. I definitely enjoyed the food.
Great place to ear in French Town. The salmon risotto huge, and ver good!!!
We wound up here last night by total chance, and it was the best dinner we ve had all vacation. The service staff, the chef and the food were all amazing. Make the trip here
Loved the whole experience. The ambiance is inviting. The food is top notch and the wine list is extensive. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free friendly. Most dishes can be altered.
Best staff by far!!!! A/C, comfy chairs at the bar and tables. Staff are fun to interact with and I even got put to work to remind the bartender to put in a to go order in five minutes!!! I was ON IT!
The food was great, the service and the atmosphere was great
Nice but the hard walls, ceiling and floor make it noisy. Food are ok but not always top notch.
My family and I were on our way to Red Hook when an accident forced us towards the Downtown area. Having been turned away from nearly 5 restaurants and 3 cab rides later we ended up at the Twisted Cork. This place is outstanding. Im from New York and know good food. Best Garlic Bread I have ever had. Calamari is wonderful and what a burger. It truly is tough to find a great burger these days but look no further. The Twisted Cork also has a homey atmosphere with wonderful staff who walk you through the menu. Its hard to find places these days with great food, great service, a great ambience, and wonderful people. Please try the Twisted Cork. I promise it is worth it!!!
The best pork chop Ive tried in St Thomas and I did try several , I dont like green beans and those were so delicious that I ate them, the service was very good, it has parking, the only thing that wasnt so good was the Grits that my husband ordered, we spent a pleasant night in a cozy atmosphere!
Food/wine were spectacular. Staff (and chef) were incredibly attentive and nice. Desserts were to die for!!!
Cant say good day nothing. Very disappointed
Always a good meal.
We were in the area for a week and kept returning to The Twisted Cork (ate there 3 times, in fact!). Great food, great service. If something is on the specials menu, order it because it truly is going to be gone tomorrow. Highly recommend. Thanks for your hospitality.
One of the top 5 best places to eat in Saint Thomas in my opinion, the service and atmosphere was spectacular .
The food was great, the service was not.
Beth is the absolute best! The food is incredible but somehow the service is even better!!! All the specials are definite must haves.
Had chicken liver and chicken lettuce wrap. Very tasty and a very generous serving. I did not get to the dessert because I was full.
Salmon risotto and lionfish Piccata were both wonderful
Some of the best food on the island. Would recommend and definitely would eat there again.
Food was excellent! Service was great, very friendly.
Oh my! What a gorgeous and delicious place! I had lionfish and chips and it was the best!! The Moscato was amazing, too!
We had really nice fish and chips here. Staff were very friendly and accommodating when we needed our food quickly as we were running for a flight. Coffee was good as well.
Best food in town!
We loved visiting this place so much while on vacation that we came back the next day! Charming atmosphere, delicious food, and outstanding service. Mary was hands down the best server Ive had in some time and Jason, the head chef, interacted with all the tables. He was very personable and funny helping to make the entire dining experience unforgettable. Highly recommend!!
Fine dining and an excellent bottle of wine.
Nice restaurant in Frenchtown. Enjoyed the Lionfish!!
Truly outstanding food. The service was also personal and friendly. I highly recommend!!!
Appetizers, dinner and dessert were all amazing! Pleasant staff. Highly recommend
Best Pork Chop Ive ever had and great service,
And OUTSTANDING meal again. We first visited Twisted Cork in May 2021 and again now in September 2022. Hands down my favorite meal in St Thomas VI. Owner is so nice and welcoming. We had the salmon risotto, piccata lion fish, and buffalo chicken salad. All were so pleased with their meals. We finished with the flourless chocolate cake and espressos. This restaurant is on my must do list for every trip.
Loved the lionfish dish.
TLDR: You absolutely MUST visit here for phenomenal food. Now for the details: Everything we ordered was made to perfection. The prices were very fair. The staff was very kind and they were killing it in the dining / bar area. The calamari -first time that Ive ever had it where every single bite is cooked perfect... Not even the smaller pieces were overcooked and the pineapple sauce was delicious The lion fish picatta may have been one of the best dishes Ive ever experienced... Im telling you! light & fluffy, perfectly crusted fish. Never had anything better. We had the pleasure to meet the owner Jason as well. The man is a stellar person!! Made the trip there that much more enjoyable! I cant express enough how much I recommend The twisted cork cafe. You MUST visit if youre on St Thomas.
This place is a must! By far the best food Ive had on the island!
My husband and I ate here the very 1st night we were in St Thomas. My husband ordered a blackened salmon and I had a shrimp pasta dish!! Both dishes were amazing! And the garlic bread is 1 of the best Ive ever had. We came back a 2nd time later in the week we were there and we were not disappoint! Plus Beth and Margo were just so friendly and warm and welcoming. They definitely make you want to come back again and again.
We had our first meal in St. Thomas at Twisted Cork and everything was so delicious that we came back a few days later for dinner again! The garlic bread was especially good, you must try it. Beth and Margo provided exceptional service, when we visit St. Thomas again we definitely plan to come back!
Food is just incredible. The selection of wines is very good. Service is personal.
Great food and service! Has lettuce wraps good but basic wouldn t get again but the sandwiches were amazing. We had Trenton s club ( huge) and great as well as grouper sandwich. Lunch visit
I love the food here. Classics with an island flare. The fish and chips made with lion fish is brilliant. Jason as the chef is amazing. Never a disappointing meal here.
Need waitresses
Great place for wine and dining. Staff was exceptional.
Very engaging and great service and food!
The food is amazing! Hands down best food in French town and on the island. The service and staff are super friendly as well. If you come to St Thomas and don t stop by you are missing out!
Great family owned restaurant. They close at 8 though, not 10. And they claim Google won t let them change it. Google - let our people free!
Wowowow. Came for lunch on our last day, soooo delicious! The pesto pasta w chicken was especially good, next time I d sub shrimp for the chicken. Salad good too.
This place is incredible! Really good find, excellent food (the steak sandwich, beef carpaccio, ahi tuna!) and wonderful service. We came here for lunch, and pretty much everything we needed was available.
Food was amazing, service was great, and the environment was nice. Salmon, Mahi, and, alewife were fresh and prepared perfectly with flavor and were juicy not overcooked or dry. Great amazing place, sad that they didnt have lionfish which is what we came here to try, but still had great menu selections. Dessert was also very rich and flavourful.
A lovely restaurant tucked away in a nice area of Charlotte Amalie. The food, drinks and service were excellent. Loved the Salmon Risotto! Make a reservation if you plan to go.
Delicious lunch and wine and a very friendly wait staff!!
Great meal. Great restaurant. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner who spends his time creating and preparing the specials. Very nice and down to earth guy who was very interested in his customers. All four courses were excellent. The wine he recommended was a great match for the food too. Edit: My GF and I went back and had dinner there a second time because it was really just that good. The Rib Eye special was about as good as it gets. The calamari was great, with and without the sauce, and that s coming from someone raised on NY Italian food. We each had cæser salads both nights, they were large enough to split but good enough to want your own. And finally the limoncello (NY Style) cheesecake was about as good as cheesecake gets. Best NY/East-coast Style Italian food I ve had outside of NY.
We had our anniversary dinner here and the food was special! The portions were nice the flavors were right and the service was on point. My compliments to all the staff!!
The Godfather of Lamb, need I say more!!
A little pricey great service expect the 20.00 dollar Cheeseburger, the fried Chicken livers are great if you like those my wife devoured them!!!
What stunning delicious gracious surprise just 5 mins walking from our hotel... Marga s smile and energy welcomed us to a culinary lunch. The chicken lentil salad is as unique as it is savory. Elegant space. Well done, mates!
Nice, quaint atmosphere with excellent service. Food top notch.
This was my favorite place to eat in the USVIs. The staff was extremely friendly and fit us in with no reservation. Food was amazing, all in all a great experience.
There is definitely a trend of vacation optimism in the rating of this restaurant. Although it is conveniently located and food was decent the service is far from stellar. Our server was condescending and belittling of my wife when she voiced appropriate displeasure regarding her dish that was not seasoned and wholly misrepresented by the menu. My wife had the salmon that was cooked well but lacked any resemblance of seasoning. The chevre risotto was actually over cooked long grain white rice with a hint of supermarket goat cheese. I asked our server for the chef to select and prepare a meal of their choosing. I often do this to get the true sense of a restaurant and allow them to shine. Our server apparently did not discuss this with the chef at all and merely took it upon herself to order the most expensive thing on the menu. Earlier in the day we had far better food out of styrofoam containers just across the bay from this location. I dont mind spending good money on good food but this experience was found lacking in every way.
Food was great. Prices decent and service was excellent. Nice music made it even better
Great meal and excellent service for our 10th anniversary dinner! The seafood linguini was the special this night and was amazing. Great wine list with big pours.
We have been to nice restaurants in St. Thomas every night for the last 6 nights but none could come close to the Twisted Cork for both the food and service. All 4 in our party were blown away by how amazing our meals all were in addition to the great attitude, energy and service we received from Beth. This should be a must on everyone s list when visiting St. Thomas!! Hats off to the Chefs!!
Food is very well prepared and with good flavors. Wines are a little off and service is mostly good.
Great food and atmosphere with many choices of wine!
Best fish and chips and drinks. Pricey but worth it
The food is phenomenal, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, the staff is incredibly sweet. Highly recommend.
Absolutely AMAZING. Walking in the door the ambiance and decor is relaxing and chic. The music is a nice mix of jazz and indie/acoustic. Very fitting and relaxing as well. Service from Marga was SUPERIOR. Friendly, knowledgeable, kind, just truly a great experience in the front of house. We actually had to ask if she was the owner because of how amazing she is but she kindly told us no- that wasnt her... but it was the chef who prepared our food!!! We got the burger and the turkey club. The fries were addictive beyond reason. The burger was juicy, savory, a slight sweetness from the bacon jam, and a nice funk from the selected cambozola cheese. The turkey club was outstanding! Everything worked perfectly. The bacon jam, smoked gouda, perfectly toasted bread, its what happens when everything is right in the world.
Great service with great food and reasonable prices make it a great restaurant.
The restaurant had a warm, inviting atmosphere, from the minute you step in. The staff greeted us at the door with friendly smiles and sat us in a cozy corner booth. We enjoyed appetizers, (soup and garlic bread), mains course (seafood pasta & seared lion fish) and dessert. Our mouths were watering the entire time. Definitely going back again!
Absolutely the best restaurant experience weve had on the island this week. Loved the atmosphere. Food was amazing. Had the salmon risotto and the salmon was perfect! Recommend to all!
Food was delicious, and service was great! Edit: Returned again in July 2021, still great :-)
NOT SURE WHY THIS PLACE IS RANKED SO HIGH OVERALL.. I am confused:( There are many restaurants in St Thomas to choose from. Please save yourself a car ride, a taxi, and your money. DO NOT GO HERE! Here are the reasons this place was horrible: 1) our original server was slow. She started out as our server and then the bartender took over our table. It took forever for original server to take our drink and food order. Annoying because the restaurant was not busy. The original server came to our table twice and didn t ask how our food. She must have known the food was horrible. the Bartender was very sweet and nice 2) I ordered the special grouper bites as an appetizer. They were cold and chewy when delivered to our table . I am pretty sure they were not fresh, warmed up in the microwave , then left out for a long time before they were finally delivered to our table. 3) the reviews on TripAdvisor rave about their Chicken liver bites. Those were hot when delivered, but had no flavor and tasted like oil with hot sauce in top. I am not sure why these have such a high ranking. I am so confused. You could ve gotten better fried livers from Chili s or Applebee s for half the price. 4) my husbands dish was also horrible and lacked flavor. 5) our bill was $145 for cold grouper bites, mediocre chicken liver, okay fries, 2 glasses of wine, and a meh fish entree, and gross bread pudding. This meal was so disappointing that I am giving this review. I never give bad reviews. I usually do a good job of picking out restaurants, however, I really failed in this one. I am Foodie and currently live in a very competitive high quality food city. I have no problem paying for high quality food. This restaurant has the price of a nice dinner in New York, San Fran, or DC, but the quality of Applebee s. This place was unacceptable, all around. SAVE YOUR MONEY!! I am offended that they think their food is worth this price. ***On a good note. I had the best meal in St Thomas at STONE HOUSE CAFE. It was so good we went back twice.**** Other great places instead of this place in the price category are Prime and Blue Eleven.
Amazing!! Very nice restaurant. I had the smoked wings and parmesan crusted pork chop. Both were delicious. If you are in St. Thomas, definitely try this restaurant, you will not regret it.
Definitely need to change the risotto with salmon! No flavor at all! My husband s pork chop was good though
Great staff, great environment and great food. Solid spot to eat, drink and have fun.
We heard about this place from one of our bartenders and it did not disappoint. We had the grouper and the parmesan crusted pork chop. The grouper was great and the pork chop was awesome!!! It was topped with this tomato and onion jam that was soooooo good. If I could have bought a jar of that topping I would have. Great atmosphere and service with great wines to chose from.
Literally everyone of the specials were incredible. The owners were so welcoming and charming.
Came in for lunch before catching a flight and they could not have been more wonderful. I did not get her name but she took amazing care of four starving travelers and the food was incredible. Thank you!
The wait time was horrendous- but the food was delicious.
This place is an absolute must of your bidding visiting St. Thomas. The staff is just amazing! Friendly, casual and talented. The menu is creative and wonderfully executed. They had a smoked chicken wing appraiser special that night with this amazing berry glaze. My wifes parmesan crusted pork chop was huge and perfectly cooked. All in all it was an amazing experience. Well certainly be back should we find ourselves in this part of the world again.
This restaurant was a great find! We were looking for a local place close by and decided to try this one. Food was excellent along with the service. They have good options for vegetarian as well.
Servers were fantastic. Very friendly
Great food, Great service. Very nice experience, a little on the pricey side, but worth it. Would definitely visit again.
Vast selection of wines if thats your thing. Great atmosphere, delicious food choices and attentive service even during busy times. Generous portions but gotta save room for dessert.
If you are looking for seafood, this could be your place. From the exterior it does not even look like a fine dining place, but it is from inside. We loved Garlic bread and Fried chicken livers. Tried lionfish and chips, it was okay. It could be much better. Wife tried Chicken Piccata, chicken was good but rice was okay. Tip - They charge 20% service charge straight on your final check. Make sure to check the receipt. Also any substitute will incur additional charge, so please check with server ahead. Service was good and server did asked us couple of times. I would suggest better to have reservations ahead of time.
Fantastic place for a delicious meal. Options for salads, sandwiches, and entrees that are fresh, original, and generous. On a Thursday night in early January there was a magnificent two piece jazz ensemble. No outdoor seating, but the AC was not blasting (like everywhere else in this town) so it was comfortable in the restaurant. Stuffed mushrooms appetizer and fig almond bread pudding were yum. .
Been here several times when visiting St Thomas and staying in frenchtown. Every time the food has been incredible and reasonably priced.
Outstanding food! Excellent lunch destination. Dinner is fantastic as well!
Atmosphere was nice cool and friendly. Food was nice in taste and presentation but it took food to long to come to your table.
First rate. The food was magnificent but the service took the experience over the top. No stress even on 14 Feb.
Great place to have dinnet
The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. We had the lion fish and chips, which was prepared perfectly and the pork chop which was also delicious. We splurged and had the bourbon ice cream with whipped cream and bacon for dessert which was so worth it! We can t wait to go back. Also, wine selections were wonderful, something for everyone!
Really amazing food really amazing staff. Im fully satisfied every time. Definitely save room for dessert if you can!
Scarlett was amazing!!!
Food was really excellent. Service is always great!
yummy
Great wine bar with excellent fresh food. Lionfish was on the menu, delicious. Wide choices for wine and they have a full bar.
Twisted Cork has become one of our island staples. Always amazingly fresh, delicious food and incredible service!
Very great food. The Twisted Burger is probably the best on island. A++ Service and great wine selection of course.
Loved this place! Great service and delicious food. Well definitely be back. Also, they have air conditioning which is a plus.
Amazing, great food and great service!!!!
Marga was our server. She was extremely personable and attentive while serving a number of tables at once. The food was awesome! We had the stuffed mushrooms, duck fat fries, lion fish piccata and the flour less chocolate torte. If I was a local I would come here for any one of these dishes regularly. The piccata was especially amazing! Jason, the owner and chef, personally came and spoke to us and provided a dessert on the house since we were on our honeymoon. He mentioned that they used fresh herbs from their garden for the piccata which explains why it was so incredibly good! 10/10!
Fantastic turkey Dinner with a variety of wines to choose from that will suit anyones needs.
Cute little place with friendly staff. Food was excellent and the portions were more than adequate. Decent wine list too. Lamb chops and the pumpkin lasagna were bright spots.
Nice little place
Not sure how this place got such good reviews. The food is OK, not something to be wowed for sure (if you went to any decent restaurant in the mainland). We waited 20min to get served water and 1h to get food. Not an adequate service in my opinion.
Wonderful meal. Met the chef/owner. Specials based on whats available at the market that day.
Nice place for dinner
eats, service, management ate all outstanding, but I reserved my rating to 4 out of 5 stsrs.
Poor service...
Best of best . Amazing food cozy place
Best food Ive found.on the island so far. Awesome service
Any restaurant that stops serving food at 8:00pm on a friday night is not a serious business.
The service was very slow. The food was average, but wrong. The waitress was unpleasant. I would not recommend it. I am surprised that it has been so highly recommended by other reviewers
Great food, super service, heavy pours, and a fun atmosphere - a great place to eat while on vacation!
Best food and service on the island . The staff makes you feel special. You would not think so because of the location but , thats the beauty of it . its quaint, and has a euro feel to it . Very professional staff
Always great. Especially lunch.
Delicious meal! Must try the oyster shooter!!
. Nice ambiance. Our group very much enjoyed the lion fish and pork chops. Service was good.
Our food was wonderful. Menu selections are good. Wait staff attentive. Atmosphere was good not anything special, a bit warm in restaurant. As far as prices go it seemed a bit expensive, but it is the Virgin Islands so you kinda expect it. Overall would highly recommend restaurant. I had the salmon and risotto.
The food taste fresh an well seasoned not tasteless like most restaurants.theyre friendly.comfy relaxing environment.theyre pretty pricey 30$ plates . portions are small .but the best seafood Ive eaten.
Very nice restaurant, food and service were great, nice ambiance!
Great selection! Amazing staff! Great little upscale joint off the beaten path tucked in a cool little neighborhood. Dont miss it!
Great lunch. Would go again. Service was great.
Love it here, tucked in a cute little neighborhood off the beaten track. Great food, great bar, staff was a blast.
Had a buffalo chicken salad and pomme frites. Really enjoyed the food. The buffalo sauce on the chicken was an excellent flavor.
Its ok, had ok food.
Terrible experience. Very over priced. Didn t think i could go wrong with a burger, but i couldn t even eat it. Major ant problem and poor service!!! Do not come eat here.
Great service with phenomenal food. I went on Greek week and had the best baklava of my life. For the main course I had their pork chop and moussaka, delicious. Their ballpark pie is also very good. I highly recommend this restaurant if your on the island and don t now where to eat!
We took a party of twelve for a weeknight dinner and were treated very well. Waitstaff in particular was excellent, personable and attentive. I felt the appetizers were probably better than the mains, although mains were consistently good - the apps set a standard it would be tough to match. The chicken livers done as a take on wings were a standout. We had a great time.
Great food, great service. Nice quaint location. Make this a stop.
Great burger....
Food quality is good. Interesting daily specials.
Lovely & unique ambience. Excellent meals: we enjoyed the evening specials. The sweet potato & andoille sausage soup was divine, a salad special with shrimp was fresh and satisfying. My husband had the lamb shank which was fork tender and a deep flavor sauce which complimented this dish. Dessert was a flourless chocolate torte, a perfect size to share. Delightful! If you are interested in a cocktail try the Carribean Old Fashioned.
Great Food. Nice Ambience. Friendly and Efficient Staff.
First time at Twisted Cork. My wife and I went here for dinner tonight, really nice atmosphere and the food was simply awesome! I had a Triggerfish special that really was special, nicely prepared with a wonderful pepper garnish that was perfectly spicy, not hot but terrific flavor. My wife ordered the chicken pesto pasta which had an amazingly fresh pesto sauce that made your mouth water. We both had the sweet potato soup as an appetizer. The only negative aspect to our visit was we had no room for o e of their desserts, all of which sounded like winners. Were definitely coming back!
Wonderful place. Good wine and even better service.
The menu is exciting...great variety. Chef does a great job. Currently not accepting cards so bring cash.
Great food, good service
Food is excellent, i suggest the lionfish, or the stuffed mushrooms. You can even try the frog legs if youre into that. All of the food is great and the desserts are even better. The service is great too.
Decent wine bar but a bit pricy. The food was better than expected here
Food was great and Elgin was just awesome
Food was done well. Excellent flavors. Enjoyable wine list and great servers to boot. The desserts were also fantastic. The bread pudding had me at hello.
Hanging around with friends.
What an amazing hole in the wall! We were delightfully surprised at the intimate setting in Frenchtown and the amazing food. This whole area is a wonderful place to explore!
Beautiful venue, wonderful staff, and incredible food. Our group of eight enjoyed attentive service and absolutely loved every dish we tried.... which included the BEST calamari, wonderful fish, and ridiculous desserts! Elgin recommended lovely wines, and Christa was spot-on with her suggestions for meals (despite it being her first day working there... however, she had been eating at the Twisted Cork for a long time!). Highly, highly recommend!!!
We went on a recommendation from a local. Nice ambiance, and food was very good. Power went out before we received dinner, but luckily they have a generator. Good place for a local meal.
Amazing food...do not hesitate to go...Frenchtown might be a little rough around the edges...but give it a gol
Brilliant Food. Fantastic Service
Great atmosphere, superb menu, friendly staff
This place exudes French flavor and the decor is of fine taste. Amusing musical entertainment through most of the evening. The meal portions were perfect and the desserts were sweetened as they should be. I was pleased with how well the staff managed the restaurant and made us feel relaxed and comfortable during our visit. Parking is a little bit tough but worth it.
Excellent! Service, food, & ambiance all top notch! Menu was varied....although not much for the gluten free consumer the server & chef made an effort to accommodate! A must try, especially for a date night, while in the French Quarter in Charlotte Amalie, St Thomas.
Great Food.
