I highly recommend. Netflix is great. I had the grouper and the lamps to the rice it was excellent very fresh, big portions. I played with two sizes 18 dollars. I posted a picture of my plate

Favorite place for a true “home cooked meal” feel, but with the added deliciousness that I couldn’t even put together in my own kitchen. Their stewed turkey is my lunchtime obsession, and I might lose my mind trying to figure out why their side spinach salad is SO good! Prices are great and extremely fair. Support these wonderful people, you won’t be disappointed!

Food has been sitting out and was microwaved for us to eat. No prices listed. $20 for a dry piece of salmon and 2 sides. Wish we would not have wasted a meal here.

We ate at El Mesón in February, 2023 after arriving on the ferry across the road. This is a no-frills cafeteria-style place with good Caribbean food and generous portions. There are good vegetarian selections of vegetables and meat substitutes as well as delicious stewed meat dishes, stuffing, plaintains, mac and cheese and some salads. You order a meat/protein main and get a couple sides with it. There are a few tables for eating in and they do a good amount of takeout business as well.

Huge lunch of pepper steak over rice with two sides and salmon over rice and beans with two sides plus two soft drinks for $35. Delicious food, all ready-made but fresh. You choose what you want and they put it on a plate for you. Be warned that they will keep putting food on the plate until you tell them to stop! Saw some vegetarian dishes including curried tofu that looked tempting. Nice family-run business. They were doing a lot of takeout orders when we were there but there are 7 - 8 tables if you want to eat in. Go, you won't be sorry!

Delicious Caribbean cuisine, ready to go, served cafeteria style. They have paella, saltfish, curry dishes, ribs, fungi, eggs, fried plantains, starch bananas, etc. They serve breakfast and lunch, open 7am to 6pm. They accept credit cards and se habla Español. Air conditioner and fans, so you can eat in comfort. Bathroom for customers only, ask for the key.

Excellent family restaurant. Good amount of food options and the ones I tried were very good. The prices are also pretty good. I had oatmeal the first day and for lunch the second the salmon and rice with beans was very good. There is also a mango passion fruit smoothie that is pretty good. You can eat in or take out.
