just ordered 2 reece blizzards and 2 other things and the blizzards were complete garbage. they must have blended it twice and thats it Was some reese on the top of the cup and then pure white icecream for the whole rest of the cup For a medium this is a good amount of non blending. I won't be giving them my hard earned dime anymore.
Dairy Queen was very clean and the staff was awesome. I very appreciate my time is coming here. They let me and my friends stay past the time they were open and it was overall an amazing experience. I recommend coming here in the future amazing spot thanks, Dairy Queen.
Food or Ice creams are good. No doubt. But I have a suggestion for the drive thru. The curb around the corner is not good, which should be removed or fixed. I got scratches on my rim and I don’t want others to face same problem.
Worst experience ever. If staff is uninterested in serving customers, change the staff. Several people are standing in queue and they are standing in groups and having conversations in their native language. One or two staff members saw customers in front but ignored and carried on their conversation. They forgot to give spoon in sundae and when asked made terrible faces. If mistake is yours, accept and apologize. Please it’s humble request that respect customer’s time at your store.
Today i visited the charlottetown dairy queen and i ordered 2 plain cheese burgers, i got them fully loaded i took them back inside the store and i had them replaced. The manager/owner was there and we had a great chat. Hospitality at its finest. 10/10
Took one of my favourite fellas to DQ. He is almost 90 years old and it was around 10:00 am and he wanted an ice cream sundae. They weren’t open yet when we went through drive thru but when I explained why I was there they were amazing to accommodate and made sure he got his chocolate sundae regardless. They were so sweet when we drove up and very kind . I didn’t get his name but I will definitely make the trip again.
Food was good. Brownie batter and the Barbeque smokehouse cheddar are very delicious. Only problem is that the service needs polishing. I heard some of them are new. Can be improved. This was 4/25/2024.
The food here is decent but on this trip we got ice cream. One blizzard is a caramel cheesecake, the other is pumpkin pie. Both were very good. The particular location we went to has some issues with ownership and their lack of customer care, but there isn’t really an issue with the food itself. Service is a bit lacking with very few smiles and more interest in moving on to the next thing.

Poor service and very rude manager named Simran. We are an avid fan and a regular costumer of dq in charlottetown. I just screenshot the coupon/deal from my app because I don t have data left on my phone this morning I ordered the 2 can dine and the coupon worked when they scanned it didn t had any problem. Around the evening I did the same screenshotted the deal/coupon barcode and went to dq around 11pm the manager named Simran scanned the code and it didn t work she said so we asked her to scan again because it just worked in the morning but she didn t want to scan it again because she said she needed me to open the app but I have no data. She is very impolite and disrespectful and mean very rude person we told her she s very rude and she laughed at us sarcastically I don t think that she is a manager material. We were on the line on the drive thru and she said to us that we take so long and we are holding her lineup at the back.So we just left. I don t think we will ever eat here anymore. I think you need to train this stuffs for costumer service I work in a hospitality industry for 10 years and this is not how to handle guest. We are very disappointed. Don t have good service here specially it s the manager very rude.
I am writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received during my recent visit to the Dairy Queen today around 11:30 pm. The interaction with your staff, specifically a young woman and man working at the counter, was extremely disappointing. The young woman, in particular, was very rude and unhelpful, which significantly affected my experience. Moreover, I was shocked that half of my order was mishandled and thrown on the floor by staff. I believe that good customer service is essential to any business, and this encounter fell far short of my expectations. I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and that appropriate steps will be taken to improve the customer service at this location.

I m not usually one to write a poor review but the last 3 visits here I have wrong ingredients scattered through my ice cream. Example; chocolate pieces in my slushie, peanuts in my ROLO blizzard. Not the end of the world but it is alarming to bite into an unexpected texture

Went to DQ an order 4 blizzards, well they could only get half of them right and one looked like they only threw toppings on top of one of them and the stink of the place was over the top of BO. Who ever is running the place better fix it soon because they lost my business.
2 small cones look more like a kiddie cone lol. And it costs 9 dollars. People should just go to McDonalds and get it there . Gone are the days for taking kids or grandkids out for a DQ treat.

Burgers are the best in all fast food. They keep using those awful fries that taste like the bag theyre in. In 30+ years Ive been going to this same DQ, they simply cant think of a container for any desserts that wont tip over or the top wont come off, and HOW many cars have been soiled? Containers are for presentation, I get it, but not everyone wants to sit there. The owner is a wonderful person. This is a very profitable DQ - but its depressing. Look at the StreetView images of it - its miserable. Broken concrete lining the drive-thru, barely wide enough for a compact car. The property just looks...I dont know, think Moscow 1989. Were all appreciative of the newcomers working at DQ, but those with communications issues shouldnt be manning the registers, IMO. Drive-thru is very slow. This DQ neednt be such a sad place. Parking lot is disorganized, paint is worn off. At least they havent added a speed bump - a redundancy on PEI.
Every time I ask for the restroom key, the staff takes me to the women s restroom. So I ask for the key to the men s room, and they still take me to the women s. There shouldn t be a key for the restroom if they re not going to listen and force trans people into uncomfortable situations where they feel outed
After I had paid an employee indicated it would be a few minutes for my order. I, unfortunately, had very little time so requested a refund. Two additional people confirmed I wanted a refund. I was asked to move ahead, and waited the few minutes regardless, only to be brought food I no longer had time to eat (not the refund I requested). When brought the food the woman seemed surprised I had indicated a refund.

Had a great experience at Daily Queen Charlottetown! Car broke down in parking lot. Frank (owner) himself contacted a towing company and treated my grandkids to an ice cream and he was kind enough to even drive us home! The grandkids had an unforgettable experience! Very bad customer service from them, I ordered a brownie and oreo cupfection through drive thru, and the brownie was not heated when I went back telling them they said they do not heat up the brownie it s upon request but I ve been having this same thing from the past one year and I ve always got the brownie heated, when I told them they said you have to tell us on the screen but they did not bother to accept their mistake, they should have at least asked on the screen if I want it heated or not plus they telling me to return to the screen and reorder like come on this service is the worst please improve on this and train your employees properly at least to accept their mistake once rather than showing attitude to customers
Honestly this place is a joke. Waited almost 25 minutes for 1 meal when there was nobody else in line, guys in the back are dancing to music instead of actually making your food. They ruin the entire desire to stay in and eat by blasting Indian music in the kitchen. I m surprised nothing has been done by now I ve went twice and it s the same thing. eat out anywhere else possible.
The worst customer service we re received at any of the DQ. All the employees had an attitude and were least interested in helping. We went on Feb 17 at 8:00PM. All the employees on shift need some training in how to treat people and how to service customers with their questions! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

I went to dairy queen drive thru today around 2am and was addressed by this Indian girl who really needs to know that she was so marvellous at her service, different from all the other indian girls. She greeted me so well and that caught my attention because she was different from all the other indian girls and had her own way of working which was really kind and impressive. My daughter loves this place! Once a week we go for strawberry sundaes ever since she was little, now shes 19 and I dont foresee this ever stopping. Dietary restrictions: My daughter has down syndrome and ADHD and I love how special they make her feel.

Ice cream was average. The lady taking my order was more concerned about talking to her friend(receipt says it was RK) i ordered 4 things to go. The ice cream i asked for in a diss was in a cone. I bought the meal deal on Jan 25th in Charlottetown and was heading home to Dartmouth NS and realized on the highway I didn t recieve my Sunday coupon. I called and the lady took my name and number and told me I could get it next time I m in town. Well today I tried to get it and I was told they don t do that, they mail them out. I mentioned that is what happened on that day and I still have the receipt. I was simply told no. They didn t didn t check or look anywhere. I told them it was a supervisor or manager that called me back and told me I could pick it up another time. I wasn t offered to get one mailed to me. I will not be going back to this location and will spread the word to others to do the same. So if you read this don t go here!! Update: dear relations team I filled out the form 3 times from the link you sent me and the submit button doesn t work. What s the deal? I was upset before that just makes me more mad. Send me to a page that doesn t work!

Burger was a little cold
I ordered the salad. My friends ordered burgers after me and got their food before I did. The salad was delivered without dressing. Also they have a rule that you have to ask a worker to unlock the bathroom before you can use it. Their ice cream is great, but I will not be ordering the salad in future.
While my past experience was good my last one was not. I had went in and ordered a birthday cake with a picture to be on it for my daughters birthday. I went I days before and even takes to a person I assumed was a manager to order it. They told me the price and I paid for it. Days later when it was going to be picked up all it had on it was happy birthday. When asked about it supposed to be having a picture the person said I didnt pay to have a picture on it despite it having it on the order paper. It wasnt mentioned when I paid by the person who took my order, no one called me when they noticed an error even though my number was on the order paperwork as I would have told them to still but on the picture and Id pay the extra fee. Instead we had to deal with employees who seemed to be unhappy to even have to deal with us an hour before the birthday party to get a picture on the cake..

I took my 5 year old daughter and 7 year old niece to DQ yesterday evening after a long hot exhausting day. It was the busiest I ve ever seen it, the line up went all the way down the street - which isn t the issue. I figured it would be worth the wait. The kids were hungry and anxious but we eventually made it. I asked for 2 chicken strip baskets, a burger, two chocolate dipped ice cream cones, blizzard, sundae and a slushie. We got to the window, they asked if I wanted receipt I said no, we left. As soon as we parked I realized they only gave me one chicken strip basket. I knew the inside would be packed with people and despite my overwhelming social anxiety I said I would go in for the kids to get their food. The worker directed me to the counter where people were picking up food, and they all started talking foreign language to each other and making faces at me as if I was crazy or something for saying they forgot the chicken strip basket another worker said can I help you with something? She left for a few minutes while I tried to find somewhere to stand and wait amongst the 50 or so people also waiting. She came back with a receipt for my order, pointed and said I only ordered one. She wanted me to go in the huge line up and re order it. When I ordered in the drive thru she even asked me if I wanted pepsi for *both* meals. I shouldn t have to wait in a 20 minute line up to re order what I already ordered - it s clear English isn t any of their first language, it s not the customers fault the employee doesn t understand English. She was rude and acted as if I was a bum from the street trying to score free food. (For the record I would normally have just paid for it as mistakes happen but the way she presented it all and spoke down to me in front of a large group of staring people wasn t okay. It might seem like such a little thing or I m over reacting but I had very upset kids on the ride home that they had to share

Food was great. The service is rated lower as it took over 15 minutes for order of burger and fries to be made. Was not expecting that much delay for the meal. There was plenty of staff but they seemed more focused on the drive through and the ice cream orders.

Went there for lunch for a chicken salad they give you 1 dressing for a side salad, then when you get a large salad double the size they still only give you ONE dressing.. went to ask for a second and was told I had to pay an extra dollar for a second dressing because THEY don t give you enough dressing for a full salad and want you to pay for an extra dressing! They were rude, the service was horrible! We had to wait 20 mins for kids ice cream my 3 year old was having a meltdown and I m sure they made me wait because I was upset about having to buy a second dressing and having to put a dollar on my credit card. I ll be heading to Wendy s cause they don t charge extra for condiments they give you more then you need.. I was scared they were going to charge me for a refill of pop too.

If its after 10pm, and youre looking for somewhere to dine-in, dont go here; they might kick you out earlier than expected. So anyways, before I headed out, I checked the stores hours on the website. Says 10am-Midnight basically. No separate hours section for dine-in versus drive thru like say Wendys or McDonalds do on theirs. I take a walk down hoping its accurate. Get there around 10:45pm. I glance at the door on my way in; no hours sign. Need to hope the site is accurate. Cashier takes my order, asking me dine-in or take-out, no mention of the dining room closing soon. A few minutes later my food comes out, still no mention of the dining room closing soon. At 11:05 one of the staff comes to my table and tells me the dining room closes at 11pm and I have 5 minutes. I was alone so I doubt it was an excuse for something like being noisy. Maybe the cleaning staff just wanted to leave early and went rogue without managements knowledge. Either way, seems their stated hours are just a suggestion or something. If youre looking to relax but its late, pick somewhere else or you might get badgered out the door here.

Food was great and service was lovely at the window ..Get the mushroom burg The drive thru seemed really confusing for the workers trying to navigate it! Many people were told to pull into the numbered spaces and once food started coming out the workers were running around the lot trying to figure out what belonged to who

Fairly clean, but not a very good set up... the check out and line up is odd, not very efficient. Half our table. Was near done eating before the other half got their food. Dessert was served first. Our order was. 138, just 3 pcs chicken dinner meal deal, they served up to order number 146 before we went up to see. Why our order hadnt been filled... when at least. 4 ppl ordering the same meal after us, got their food Ahead of us. Nor much of an Apology, not super friendly. A little on the expensive side as far as fast food goes . But it was decent food I guess

Sometime since January 2022 they ve changed their beef they re now serving disgusting processed patties. I m assuming this is part of their new Stacker Burger menu change. Went from the absolute best fast food burgers to the absolute worst. Yuck.

The Charlottetown location is definitely NOT Senior Friendly and others could slip in the parking lot I was just on my way to enter when there was a sign to use doors on other side. Ok. I went to walk in front of the store and found NO plowed walk way. Idid that slipped on some ice in the parking lot .At age 65 I have anti slip studs on my boots and a spicker end on my cane. I fell directly on my back and luckily my son and some kind stranger s helped me to my feet Im going to check myself every day in case I s.uustsined any serious injury. If so, I will contact legal counsel and the Franchise owner will be held rems.ponsiblr As I said I do have witnnesses who will testify on my behalfThllllllllll ball is now in your court
Great but pricy
Please stop advertising blizzard flavours that you do not carry. I have gone to this location a couple times over the past two or three weeks and ordered an Oh Henry! peanut butter blizzard only to be told this location no longer has that flavour. Despite being told this, you continue to advertise the blizzard on a poster inside the store and have the flavour on the menu. The least you could do is put a piece of dark paper over the flavour or write a notice saying you ran out of Oh Henry! inside your store. I am most disappointed in the lack of communication.

Terrrible customer service. It appeared that the 2 employees I interacted with didn t really care about their job or how they performed. Additionally, my $5.79 banana split was very small, smaller than other DQs I have gone to, the employee neglected to add the third sauce and when I went up to ask for the omitted sauce to be added to the third ice cream he slathered over the others. Also, he said that whip cream is an extra charge! Like what the heck DQ? Gouge the customer much? Should have taken a pic to add to my review just to show you how bad the iconic treat has become. Very disappointed in this location.
Found a hair all the way through my ice cream cone. When I took it back in to show the employees, no one said anything to me, just tossed it in the trash and made a new, smaller one. Nobody apologized to me or showed it to anyone else. I understand that things like this happen, but they weren t that busy and could ve handled the situation differently. I also thought fast food restaurants were supposed to wear hairnets?
Its good but very expensive for icecream cones and blizzards. Ill go again but Ill keep the cost in mind when choosing a spot for ice cream.
I used to really relish their banana split, it used to be my go to desert at least twice a week along with my kids. Not any more as now a days its most hopelessly made by untrained and unsupervised staff. The last banana split I got was without any wiped cream and no toppings either, it was half hazardousley put together some how. I will certainly miss my DQ bananasplit here.

I really like Dairy Queen but Im gonna give this location 3 stars due to its declining quality as of late. Chicken strips are very small, potato skins are sometimes still cold, and order accuracy hasnt been the greatest. Its not ideal for someone who uses the drive-thru. I hope they improve on some things in the future.

I understand inflation is the reason prices are going up on EVERYTHING. But why are prices inflated while products are becoming deflated? DQ used to have 2 for $5 deals. Now its 2 for $6. Bought 3 chicken wraps tonight for over $10. Wouldnt be so bad if they put an actual chicken strip instead of a chicken nugget. Most of it was bread with a couple pieces of shredded lettuce and cheese and a pathetic piece of meat. If prices are going to keep rising, the sizes better not keep shrinking. Also, I cant remember the last time DQ didnt ask to pull ahead and wait. Its literally every time. Even for 3 nugget wraps. Thats it. The more I eat out, the more I remember why I like eating at home! It costs less, tastes better. Take out is going to become a rare treat from now on. Everyone seems to hate their Jobs and you can literally see and taste the hatred.

The decline in cleanliness and customer service at the Charlottetown location has been really bad. This used to be the best fast food joint for a 100 % beef burger but now they taste like frozen thin processed patties. I also got a blizzard last week and it wasnt stirred enough, all my skor pieces were in the top part and then all vanilla ice cream below.
Very very bad experience, i normally order strawberry vanilla Sunday ice cream with pineapple but this time they give me just vanilla ice cream with pineapple, they argue they put strawberry on side. I request to the Manager or OWNER please trained their staff.
They always make the order wrong I will not be going back this is twice that it happened that I ordered and they have been out and just make whatever they feel like and send it out and then dont even say sorry or offer you a refund
Terrible, the food was awful and the prices way too high, this place has really gone down hill since the new ownership has taken over.
7 out of 10 times its a great experience. Sometimes you gotta re explain a menu item (I think this may be poor staff training or lack of care from the serving staff im not sure) multiple times while they argue with you (even though ive been to this location regularly for 10 YEARS) but eventually I manage to either get them to comprehend or I get a manager that knows what Im talking about . Other than that the food is almost always fresh ( but sometimes its not and you have to fight to get it made fresh). Ever since they changed there burgers to these new gross ones though I would highly recommend avoiding them. The old delicious flamethrowers and grill burgers are gone and cheap gross fake meat has replaced it. I would have made this a 4 star bit those burgers are really really bad(but if you like McDonalds gross burgers youll probably like these ones) the quality is a massive drop from what they used to be and if I didnt still get good Blizzards and chicken strip it would be a 2 star rating no questions.

Previously I reviewed poorly because they only had stackburgers on the delivery apps. Turns out, thats all they have in-restaurant, too! I have actively avoided them for delivery because of this, very disappointed to learn this is the situation in-store. Not recommended unless everyone in your party wants really big burgers. Service/desserts are ok, though.

DQ has always been amazing with there quality and and service. And its always the best place to grab a nice snack or even a whole meal. I would recommend dairy Queen to anybody looking for a sweet treat and a really nice feeling meal on any day of the week no matter what the weather. But its always a great place for a family.

It was the worst meal that we ever had .the buggar tasted like there were cooked and frozen then wormed up .and was frezerburned. The staff was handing the food with there bearhands .we never eat there again .

Worst customer service i felt tonight 10 :00pm the lady was in counter she was so rude..she dont know how to manage customers i felt bad only from her other all employees are very nice..i felt it somany times when she in counter i got bad experiance its not good for your business thankss
Listen, I aint one for reviewing fast food. The service is fine but these guys gotta step up on the wrap game. I have ordered hundreds of chicken wraps over the years, but I only need one hand to count the amount of times theyve given me sauce I ask for. Im a big spice guy, love the flamethrower sauce and I have a deep rooted hatred for ranch. In my own professional opinion, ranch belongs only in veggie trays as a light dip. So please, for the sake of I and all other ranch deniers out here in beautiful downtown Charlottetown, take a little extra care when taking chicken wrap orders. Bless. ~Ty Male, 23, ranch hater
