I ordered a mushroom sandwich burger, specifically requesting only mushrooms. I clearly told the sandwich maker not to include bacon and asked them to change their gloves. However, when I took a bite, I could clearly smell bacon. The person who made it mistakenly put bacon before and removed it from the burger whe the person realized there will be no bacon. When I returned to Wendy's to address the issue, the manager, Kelly, was not very friendly. She insisted that there was no bacon and rudely told me to mention if I was allergic next time. It was clear she didn’t know how to show respect, and she seemed unhappy to see an Asian customer complaining about the food. We expect better service from Wendy’s.
I didn't get food because at 9pm they locked the door only serving drive thur.. can not walk through drive thur because of the homeless shelter which I live close to without issues and has heavy police presence..I have had some aggressive staff during other visits so I'm not sure why they pretend to be fearful of homeless.. then staff pretended they couldn't hear me as they laughed. Honestly the night staff are sooooo unhelpful & act as though every ketchup pack comes from their paycheck. Always questioning the costumer. I use to love this place. AND IM ALWAYS GROSSLY FRIENDLY, I've work costumer service my whole life. I posted this 2 days ago but it's not listed so I'm writing it again. I wrote manager but no reply probably because he was standing right beside his staff. My Last 5 Visits Have Been Horrible. Its dirty out of coke mean looks cheeky staff who Don't Want To Work. What happened to the Wendy's that insisted on costume satisfaction. U would think corporate would take these complaints more seriously... shameful what it's now become
This is in regard to the evening/closing crew on night of October 28, 2024. I asked for 4 junior hamburgers. They repeat "so four junior cheeseburgers..." I say no, just 4 junior hamburgers without cheese. They put on the monitor 4 junior "chz". I correct them again and tell them it's 4 junior hamburgers without cheese, just the plain juniors. And lo and behold when I get home and unwrap them, they are plain, literally. They unbelievably actually gave me plain hamburgers. There's nothing but a patty on bread. Now, what kind of slow-wits give out plain hamburgers and can't understand by "plain" I simply meant the regular junior hamburgers? Especially since I already corrected them about it. I mean was this a joke? And what part of customer service states you play practical jokes on customers? Or were they really just that stupid? An eggplant could have taken an order better. How about at least *asking* to be sure the customer meant literally plain, and not just the ones without cheese like he already corrected them about twice because gee it might be kind of unusual eh? for a customer to only want plain hamburgers? I'm already paying for overpriced food (almost every time I go here the menu items are marked up again) and it's even more overpriced when I don't get the toppings that I paid for. Obviously not an option anymore for the evening, and maybe not an option at all.
Ok, I eat at Wendy's more than I care to admit, at all Island locations. This afternoon I walked in to order my usual, a Classic chicken sandwich and before I can get anything else pertaining to my order, I am asked if I want a combo...no thanks I say just the burger with mayo only cheese bacon tomato...simple yes? Then the lady taking my order says Sir, if order the Asiago chicken sandwich blah blah blah....Asiago who said that? Classic with the afore mentioned items please...so she walks off in a huff, returned with what I thought I ordered...amazingly it was still not right. Now this is not the first time this reasturants and it's sister reasurants have screwed up my order, but this is the 4th time in as many days all Wendy's have got it wrong. Once the combo isn't ordered, the person taking the order seems to zone out and loose all hearing thought and common sense ability. I'm mean come on, I say the order twice sometimes three times since I know they just didn't get it the first 2 times, and it still comes to me wrong...open the bag and yup...no this or its got that on it...not what I ordered. I'm paying for this and expect it to be right. Doesn't that make sense? At $9.76 for a Wendy's chicken sandwich only, I assume it's going to be right, but no, I'm told by the staff how to order and then accept what I'm given. I don't have time to constantly go back and have them fix their mistakes...shouldn't have to Wendy's you better get it together or no more business from me.
As a person with an invisible disability. I went into the store to use the restroom then get a JBC an go on with my travels. The bathroom door is locked so I asked the girl up front to unlock it and she said you need to buy somthing first my manager told me this today. She told me she was the manager all confidently. My fist job at 16 was at Wendy's and I'm 38 now. I knew she wasn't a manager lol. I said in Canada we have a thing called the disability act where places need to be accessible to disabled people as I handed her my disability placard which I have to carry to use disabled spots not just the thing that hangs in the window. Part of my disability is bladder disfunction. When I need to go I need to go!!!. Once I mentioned the disability act she didn't know what to do. Then she said I will go get my manager. By this point it's kind of too late. The manager came and handled it in a very professional manner he was great. I'm not mad at all I just think that most newcomers and teens first job is alot of the time in some sort of fast food and is a great place to start and learn valuable life lessons in their working careers in whatever they choose. I feel I'm rambling. But after the surge pricing which they went back on then this. I am not sure I want to be one of their customers and more and everything someone asks me if I want Wendy's I will tell them no can we go somewhere else then tell them this same story. All of the real manager have handled this very well and were extremely professional. Ohh and I didn't buy that jbc went to were I needed to go came home late and made my own food. That was the first sale they lost from me and they will continue to looks my business for competitors from now on. And I completely understand why they lock the bathroom door. The bathrooms there are well-kept. Unfortunately a few bad apples ruined it for everyone but you should be able to tell the difference between a rotten one and an edabile one. Dave Thomas would be disappointed. Wendy's should be teaching its employees with hard work,being reliable and other this you can grow to get the nice manager shirt but you need to have the good qualities to earn that title. People who say they are the manager when they are clearly not is not a quality that Wendy's teaches its staff. People made for the streets to stuff like that. I mean I can go to UPEI get a sweater then tell people I went there even though I clearly didn't and say umm I lost my degree in a fire. It's not the same thing but it also kind of is. Remember people not all disabilities are visible. Treat others the way to want to be treated. Again the managers responded very well to this issue and were great. The team member and her attitude.. well she is clearly made for the streets claiming she was somthing she wasn't even competent to handle. As soon as I mentioned the disability act and gave her my placard she said I'll go get the manager.. Honey you just said you were the manager.
The food was good once they got my order right. Didn't seem to be in the best location in town, so the people that were in their looked strung out but at least the food was as good as any other Wendy's
I don't usually post a mediocre review, but I feel the need to point out the seemingly deliberate "forgetfulness" of the crew to hand out the proper drink cup to the dine in customers. I watched two customers ahead of me have to ask for their cups, and then m as well. That being said the experience was as expected.
This park is fun, and there seems to always be a bit of activity going on. But if you have littles with sensory/noise issues, it’s also in a quiet setting with lots of space.
I ordered a Dave s single meal , the burger was cold , the fries tasted like they were sitting there for hours , limp, tasted like they were freezer burnt , soggy , terrible

Too slow
Just had the new full breakfast at Wendys with bacon.I have never had such a poor breakfast,hard flat eggs,dried up taters like rubber,bacon hard as a rock,bagel with a dab if butter in center might have been in the toaster a second.Maybr take this of your menu its making it bad for the breakfast sandwich is is actually a good breakfast.

Food that I order on Canada day around 5.30 pm was not bad but the manager on duty seems to be very rude and she was not even having any good vibes to serve the customers. Not at all welcoming by nature. Franchises like this needs to bring some smiling faces while serving food to people.

Put people on the window that actually speak english
Had to ask for a glass three times, I presume their imbecile staff expects people to just take a handful of soda from the self serve machine as she seemed confused why I was requesting a glass. Same thing happened to the customer before me he requested his glass multiple times and finally she handed him one whilst a second staff person suddenly is trying to give him a glass of tap water. Subpar service in a subpar place.

Staff is bad at counting change and at operation of debit machine. Watch your money here. Standard Wendys food made consistently. They get orders correct consistently.

Spent $44 on a meal for two and ordered the Bacon portobello burger WITHOUT BACON and got bacon. When I got a new burger it didn t even have tomato, onions and lettuce that was missing on the first burger either. It was a weak cheesy excuse for a burger and I was really disappointed.
Went through the drive thru twice cause they took only one order not two . After going through the drive thru the second time . They went and called the COPS ACCUSING ME OF BEING DRUNK THE COPS SHOWED UP AFTER 1 AM IN THE MORNING WOKE UP MY PARENTS I DONT EVEN DRINK!!!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN

I had to up my review and rating to 5 stars. The staff are super fast, and very friendly. The Manager, Jason, is so friendly he makes you feel like a regular customer at a family owned establishment. Way to make someone feel welcome and not like just another number.

As usual the food is good, the men washroom at 1145 am smells like it hasnt been cleaned for weeks. To be brutally honest the smell of urine is overpowering and burns your nose and throat. Shameful managers do nothing.
Better than your average fast food burger chain
Ordered food from Door Dash. Was delivered the wrong bag. Called the store. Was told Yeah, the driver grabbed the wrong bag, your food is sitting here, see if you can get the driver to come pick it up. Called the driver, was told thats the bag they handed me, its not my responsibility to bring you the right food. Get Wendys to call me. Called Wendys again, was told not our fault, your food is sitting here getting cold, come pick it up, walking, in 30 degree weather, halfway across town. They also claimed they couldnt call the driver, but they CAN deal with Door Dash, but would rather pass the buck. So, we didnt get the food we paid for, we didnt get the delivery we paid for, and the driver got a tip for being rude and useless. Do better Wendys. Hold bad drivers accountable. Do your jobs. Deliver product you have received money for. And dont worry, Door Dash (and this driver in particular) will be getting a very poor review also.

Miles better than any McDonalds on pei. Its a Wendy s so you cant expect fine dining but its consistently adequate which is a plus for fast food in pei if you ve been to the nightmare that is any McDonalds on pei you know what i mean. Their breakfast is delicious however, I ll hand them that. Overpriced but delicious. I would recommend as far as fast food goes!

Literally ordered a burger combo and had TWO managers argue with us that a combo doesnt come with a drink because they didnt ring it in properly before we paid. They then switched to saying that we didnt order a drink even though we specifically said COMBO and recieved fries with our burger. Instead of apologizing for taking the order incorrectly we were argued with, and told we had to pay another $4 for a small drink that shouldve came with our order anyways... they did not handle the situation well at all.

Used to love going but it takes 20 min to give ur order due to lack of being able to speak the English language even somewhat if u cant speak or understand English u shouldnt be working with the public out front

I needed a midnight snack and it was the only food place open near us. Went through the drive through. Yummy chicken sandwich. It is open 24hrs, so it became our place to go for late night dinners during our vacation in Charlottetown.

After a long day at work, a busy evening and some not so great customer service at the East Royalty Crossing mall, we decided to grab some Wendy s on the way home. We placed our order in the drive thru and it was quick and painless (bc let s be honest sometimes it s just not) But the absolute best part of this particular stop was a guy named Obed. He was at the first window, the payment one. And his energy was next level! I was just kind of blah before I rolled up to him and then he was so upbeat and positive and funny it was awesome and he completely turned our evening around. We need more people like him in the world

Worstest experience ever!!! (16 Sep 2022 ) The food was horrible! Even horrible was the employee s attitude. (Especially one lady employee - most uncivilised person ) We ordered Apple Pecan Salad and a burger. They said it would show on the screen when its ready. We waited there- it was kinda busy so we sat at the table at the very back. The Screen was showing our order is in progress. When the girl called out our name we went to get the food. The chicken was rotten and mushy. And it smelled so bad. I went back to the counter and said very politely to the girl that the chicken is spoiled .considering the fact that others were waiting on the line and it would be nicer if I let them know in person. That girl was so good and she said she will get a new one! Then there comes the bad mannered lady and she was shouting at me saying it was my mistake the food was spoiled.she was saying They made the food on time called out our name and we didnt hear- Thats why the food is spoiled. Ridiculous!!! So the well known brand of Wendy s have only 10 -15 min of life span and then its spoiled. Unbelievable!!! And that reckless lady was throwing the food in the garbage as if she was throwing on us. What a great customer service!!! Then a male employee came as a mediator and was siding with that behaviour. They were saying you didnt hear us call out your name and the food is spoiled and we have to make it again . (Bro if the screen doesn t show the order under READY better not display it) Blaming us for giving us rotten food. We would have taken the food issue in a lighter sense if they could simply replace our order or BEHAVED proper - at least keep a minimum level of standard for the sake of the brand WENDY s. After the over reaction scene of that lady we didn t feel like eating there again. We decided to walk out because THE EMPLOYEES THEMSELVES CLAIM THAT THE FOOD s LIFE SPAN IS ONLY 10 MINUTES implies its no good. We ve been in PEi for a long time and have been to other provinces countless times; We love food at Wendy s . Honestly we have never experienced such a slobbish ill-mannered behaviour from anyone at Wendy s So pathetic!!
To Whomever the lady was who made the burgers at about 830 pm on the 18th of September 2022, let me just say it was the best burger Ive ever had at a Wendys franchise. This thing was perfect. The toppings, sauce amounts, patty alignment, you name it. Really wish I would have taken a picture of this thing. Of course I was too hungry and just drove right into it... Back where Im from we refer to Wendys as Sloppy Daves because you usually end up with what looks like the insides of Rosy ODonnell when you open up that burger paper. This couldnt be further from what I received tonight. Mine and my wifes burgers looked better than those pictured on the board. To the burger artist who was working the line tonight, thank you! And to whoever runs this location, get that girl a raise!

Was here today (Sept 14, 2021). Service was awesome and food was delicious! All the staff were great, but especially the guy that appeared to be the manager. When calling out the customers orders hed say things like, Enjoy your food, Patrick my man or Here you go dude, enjoy! It really made for an enjoyable start to my lunch break at Wendys. My meal was delicious, as usual. My only complaint is that one of the pop machines appeared to be out of regular Coke, which I found to be strange. Also the touchscreen was a little glitchy. Fortunately, through the glitchiness, it selected the Orange Cream Soda. Instead of messing with it anymore, I just decided to go with the cream soda. Well I think I just found my new go to drink while in town! It was amazing and tasted like creamsicles. All in all, this was a great experience at Wendys and I will be sure to be back!

I believe extra effort could be put into little details. For instance not everyone will know you should come in from a particular entrance and stand at a certain place on the counter to order.. but hey if this happens the staff should just snake and redirect instead of ignoring and grumpily instructing to move over... Having said that.. the burger was nice, I had the Dave triple and a very nice avocado and chicken salad
