167 Great George St, Charlottetown, PE C1A 4L1, Canada
Food was delicious. Tried their Chicken Butter Masala, Shrimp Coconut, Chicken Coconut and Chole Bhature. I like their Shrimp Coconut the most and it’s my current favourite. The food was flavourful with reasonable quantity.
We had palek paneer, cheese chili, Naan basket, butter chicken, rice , and brownie for dessert. Our first time dining at an Indian restaurant so wanted to try a bit of everything. Staff were very friendly and frequently checked on us, service was also fast (less than 10 minutes for our appetizer to arrive). Excellent experience and food had so much flavor. Would definitely eat there again.
Food was delicious. I liked the butter poutine, noodles burger, saag, makki roti. We went in the afternoon and it was nice and peaceful. Then we went there again at night but it was so packed and suffocating that i couldn’t sit there and packed my food and walked out. Maybe there needs to be more ventilation according to the size of the place
This was a great find. After 10 days of traditional Canadian/American food I craved something different and we chose this restaurant. Appeared to be mostly visited by locals and that’s always a good sign. Food was excellent . We went twice in our 4 days there. Everything freshly cooked.
For a Punjabi restaurant to not have Rajma or kadhi chawal on the menu dampened my excitement right away. We ordered chicken 65, the chicken was fried with besan coating tossed in a sweet sour gravy, more like the Indo-Chinese dish you get back in India that had corn flour slurry. Nothing remotely authentic about it, can't exactly say it worked. Hubby's beer didn't arrive until after we finished the appetizers. So we passed on that. Ordered chicken kali mirch and Punjabi dhaba dal for main course with rice and naan. The chicken Kali mirch was mostly boiled chicken breast pieces in a cream based very very sweet gravy (the kind that comes with malai kofta), with some pepper power sprinkled on top for garnish. It wasn't spicy at all, and antithesis to the dish's name, it was too sweet. Clearly they repurposed standard gravy they probably had and tried to pass it off as any dish ordered, didn't matter which one! The dhaba dal is actually the maa ki dal (kaali daal), it is not the usual yellow dal. I bet if we had ordered Dal Makhani from the menu instead, we would have got the same dish served. Good things: rice and naan. Period. And the servers were kind. None of the dishes had authentic taste. Funny enough, the gravies weren't too bad to taste - we didn't go back hungry. However I'm not sure if we'd be returning. BTW, from the pics one would think that that have buffet and thali at the restaurant. It's misleading - neither is true.
I had a wonderful experience at Tandoori Bites! The staff were warm and welcoming. We savored the delicious sizzling tandoori chicken legs, which came with a rich hot butter chicken sauce - a delightful surprise! The chicken biryani was also flavorful. Although the order took 30 minutes, it was worth the wait since they cooked the chicken fresh. Overall, the food quality was excellent. Highly recommended!"
Really good food with great service. We enjoyed every item that we ordered. The staff was friendly and made helpful suggestions. The tawa roti was amazing
The food was really amazing. The staff were very kind when we asked for vegan dal. And they made a fresh batch for our kid. We tried gol gappa, paneer gravy and naan. Food was really delicious 😍😍😍
My sister invited us out for supper last night, so four of us descended on Punjabi Bites at around 1730 and were seated immediately. We were presented with the menus, and found the choices were plentiful. I had trouble deciding which lamb curry I was going to order, but settled on the Lamb Lababdar with Onion Bhaji and garlic naan while Caroline enjoyed the Mango Chicken Curry with rice and naan. The food took awhile but when the two orders of onion bhaji arrived, we fell upon them like starving wolves. Fantastic! The baskets of naan and plates of rice and curry arrived we enjoyed them immensely. I would dine here again, and recommend the restaurant to my friends. Vegetarian options: My sister ate a vegetarian meal with us, and had a plethora of choices and finally settled on the Paneer Tikka Masala, butter naan, rice and some Dal that her son ordered. She also ate her share of the wonderful Onion Bhaji.
Hi food lovers... They cook amazing dishes. Staff are friendly, wish parking space issues wont happen. And to the Manager, some maintenance works needs to be done timely. Thank you. Food : 4/5
It was delicious!!!! The young lady who served us was very patient and helpful while we asked questions on what to order. We cant wait to go back.
Thank you for amazing food.
The best Indian restaurant in town for us so far! Love it!
I went a few times with my family and it was always delightful!! The owners are very friendly and hard workers!!! Being in the hospitality business myself, I know how hard it is to impress everyone and people can easily gang up to ruin someones image. I have nothing but just good words for this business. Keep up the good work guys!! Very happy to see fellow young entrepreneurs succeeding and doing well with their life!!! Love and best wishes!!!
Just visited restaurant. Loved the welcoming nature and smile. I appreciate one of the employee named Kiran as she was really helpful and kind!!
Good food n service
We were served by Sehaj, Never have I had a more pleasant meal. She was so polite and helpful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Thanks for the wonderful care given to us. Forever repeat customers. Needs to improve: - Prices are expensive.
Well Satisfied Awesome Service Food
Wow, so good!! Found it randomly and its one of the best Indian restaurants Ive eaten at. Food
Varied menu, excellent service, pleasant & informal environment--Punjabi Bites was a perfect choice on our visit to Charlottetown. Staff was busy w/steady takeout, but attentive to dine-in customers. We chose mildly seasoned chicken tikka masala & yellow dahl, w/ tasty raita yogurt & extraordinary chai -- & lassies, too. All delicious! Will return next visit.
Amazing Food!! Me and my family visited PEI island just for fun all the way from Montreal. We just randomly decided to try Out Indian food and came across Punjabi bites. We have went to many Indian restaurants prior to this one however we never thought we would be enjoying such delicious food and That is in PEI, Unbelievable!! Their service and food are incredible. We loved it. I would totally recommend it to everyone. DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS! DELICIOUS
Delicious meal. We shared four different mains, rice and Naan. I ordered a chicken stuffed Naan we all raved about. Delicous, well-crafted food. We enjoyed watching the next table enjoy their noodle burgers. Pleasant server. There are Indian sweets for sale at the front, like a bakery, and I will try next time.
Service was amazing Best sarso ka saag i ever had Must try place in PEI for indian food. Food : 5/5
No spice and taste . No proper salt.i ask for spicy kadai veg paneer but it was so mild .
One of the best restaurants in Charlottetown. I have ordered online and been there so many times and they never disappoint : )
It was an amazing experience of Authentic Indian flavours. Staff (Sehaj and other available server ) was really welcoming and well behaved.
Must visit place for authentic Indian spicy food. The services was awsome.Only improvement I can think off is to increase the quantity of food especially of rice, rest everything great.
Amazing environment, good food thank you Kiran wonderful service
It was a busy day today I have waited 40 minutes for a table for 2 people and the staff was keep on giving tables to other people who were in groups of 3 or 4 if we are 2 people who came early to eat then other people then we don t deserve to get a table for dine in ?
I was there over the weekend with my service dog first they not let me inside Then I told him this is service staff have a very bad attitude and service. They give us table near by Door we say okay no problems. We did not finish our food yet staff say you guys leave the restaurants.we from New York City I know Indian people doesn t like the dog, but this is not India. This is a Canada and we have no problem ever with our service dog. I can give them zero star I post pic not too faraway we had breakfast there, they treat us so nice so friendly
Very nice food.remind me backhome tast.
Wonderful service provided by sehej.

Outstanding Service by Sehaj and amazing food . A must visit place. Great Staff. Good Quality. Dont forget to try kadahi paneer
Food was excellent had great portion sizes for the price and the sehaj was so delightful and welcoming
Kind, efficient service by Sehaj. Delicious food reasonably priced. Ordered medium spice, butter chicken, veggie korma, raita, and a mango lassi that was heavenly, perfect portions, all delicious. Lovely restaurant. I will be back!
Amazing food& the service was excellent, we were served by sehaj. Thank you Food
We visited the restaurant today. The food was good. We were served by Sehaj Great service.
Very nice place to dine in. Polite staff
I had Amritsari Kulcha it was yummy and a must try, and love their service. The girl on the counter was so nice. Bless you girl
Yummy food. The chicken biryani was so tasty and delicious . Food
No frills at all, but service was good and the food was great.
Loved the food. Was priced well and delicious. Were even offered free desserts the day we visited, that was a pleasant surprise. Thanks :) Food
Great food. Excellent friendly helpful service and great value for money. Vegetarian options: Lots of choice for vegetarians.
We had an absolutely delicious meal at Punjabi Bites this evening including the Dahi Puri appetizer that was a first for us and is amazing. Full of subtle and delicious flavours. Our waitress was a delight, so fun, friendly and super professional. Definitely would go back again.
I went to visit PEI with my family.I tried to find an Indian restaurant there and I found Punjabi Bites on the internet. We all went there .Their Aloo Parantha and Amritsari Kulcha are very tasty. Here a girl named Sahaj Preet who is from Patiala dealt very nicely, I will definitely tell everyone to visit there whenever they go to PEI
It was my first time Visiting Charlottetown and I was craving for some Indian food. They have one of the most delicious Vegetarian Thali( platter) for the most affordable price. Service and atmosphere was also outstanding.
My partner and I had a great experience here. I ordered the butter chicken woth garlic Naan. The portions were generous, the spiciness as expected, and the food delicious. The server was friendly and checked in on our frequently. I would definitely return here.
Our server was very friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Portions were very good, especially for the price.. I might have a new go-to Indian restaurant here.
We visited this restaurant on the 21st Jul 24 and found it to be exceptionally good. The food is authentic and awesome. The service is great. We will recommend visiting this excellent restaurant to all who visit PEI. Please start your branch in Halifax also. Vegetarian options: Veg tikka masala and Dal Makhani were awesome.
Punjabi chicken was outstanding!
I knew it was a bad sign when I walked in at 630pm on a Saturday and there was one other table. Service was incredibly poor and inattentive. The other table had already eaten, but our food took 30 minutes. We saw take out food which they clearly prioritized over us. Food wasn t worth the wait either. Their veg biryani looked lazy. It was half white rice like they poorly blended old rice into it or something. Just go to Taste of India around the corner or anywhere else. Don t come here
I never leave a review at any restaurant, but I have to say me and my wife both loved the food and service everything was on time and hot/ cooked just how we wanted it. The girl that was our waitress did an amazing job as well, we need more businesses like this.
First time, highly recommend this place !
The food was so delicious and the service as well as the atmosphere was great Thankyou for fabulous service Food
We visited for dinner today and the food was so delicious the staff helped us in choosing food items and they were so friendly. I loved the way they treated us and promoted our own food items the aura was so positive and energetic we enjoyed the served as well as food Thank you Punjabi bites for Making our family dinner the best
We came from NS and ordered Chicken tikka masala, Bhindi masala and Malai kofta, must say the chef is best in thw town and the front desk lady was most welcoming I have ever seen. we love your services guys. Keep it up!!
Four of us met for dinner here. As one of us was a vegetarian we kept to veggie dishes so we could all share. Food was so good I might skip the meat at Indian restaurants from now on. The mango curry and the coconut curries were our favorites but all four dishes were excellent. Highly recommend this place. Vegetarian options: Lots of choice and all that we tried were excellent.
Portions were good and all the items we ordered including the chai tasted soo good. The service was also good.
Had the best daal makhni of my life here. 100/10. Mango lassi was also very good, naan tasted great! Had a long waiting time for the food but it was worth the wait!!
Food was delicious and the attendant was so nice.
Last night, we had a delightful dining experience at Punjabi Bites. We started with the Manchurian, and it was absolutely delicious crispy on the outside with a perfect blend of spices. For the main course, we opted for the Daal Makhni, and it did not disappoint. The rich, creamy texture and robust flavor made it a standout dish. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, and we ll definitely be returning for more! Thankyou for amazing dine in experience and food as well
We were craving for Indian food in P.E.I and found this restaurant. The waiter Sahej welcomed us with a big smile and she accommodated 12 of us in! The food was very tasty and good quantity. Overall everything was very good. Next time when we visit we definitely will come here for dinner!
This shop is taking advantage of low wage foreign workers instead of hiring locals. They applied for a LMIA. I would not eat here.
Really like the amritsari naan. Fely like eating the same naam back in amritsar . Food was great and the service was also very good. Love the ambience of the place clean, tidy and smells nice. Service was excellent. Must try couple of dishes.
The food was excellent, I especially prefer the chicken 65. Service was good, with great seating as well. Would definitely recommend. Vegetarian options: Good veggie options
We had a great experience with Sehaj over here. And the food was really tasty. Thank you so much for wonderful service. Food : 5/5
Food was grate loved amritsari kulcha Server sehaj was very kind and helpful and suggested us the best dishes we loved everything This made our trip successful Highly recommended to visit if you are on trip
Food was grate server sehaj helped alot in deciding food. All the recommendations were amazing food was tasty. Overall we enjoyed the vibe and food of restaurant
Sehaj was excellent.
Went there for breakfast. Everything was perfect and the flavours were having pure Indian vibes. Staff was really friendly. We got served by SEHAJ. She welcomed us with smiling face and took care of everything.
The food was delicious and fulfilling. Sehaj and Kiran were excellent with their service.
Hi, this is fabulous place to have brunch. Meet Sahaj, she is best waitress that I have ever met..
Kamaldeep exceeded expectations with her excellent service and genuine smile. Her food recommendations were delicious! Today we had amritsari kulcha, it was soo delecious, Will definitely be coming back!
First time there for 4 of us. We all ordered something different. each and every dish was perfect. Plenty of food, meat in dishes, the right spice level, etc. The decor could use some improving but the food was spot on and the p[rice was as expected. I would highly recommend this place.
Good food Nice atmosphere Delicious food The girl was sooo sweet and kind Food : 5/5 |
Came all the way from Ontario - on a vacation and had dinner at this place. Very delicious food.
Malai soya chaap was delicious. So it made our hopes high. Another appetizer we ordered was dhai puri that was also good. For mains we ordered Special Punjabi chicken and lababdar chicken both were ok. We specially asked to make it spicy and it was not. Moreover the flavours weren t great in the main dishes.
really great food and service was awsome.
Very arrogant woman at the desk. I would have give zero if that was a choice
Very delicious and the staff was very friendly! Everyone really enjoyed their meal and visit!!!
-them: Did you guys give the review yet -us Embarrassed : not yet -them: you guys are regular customers, you should. -us: Will do! The best food I could get here! Top service add- we do love coming here
For anyone craving authentic Indian food in Charlottetown. The vibe is cozy, and the staff is super friendly. Its perfect for a tasty night out!
Indian food that isnt white-washed. I dont eat much outside but goddamnn I love the food here. All friends who ever tried here loved it. At this point weve become regulars. Do try, Chicken Tikka Masala(Spicy) if you like spicy, else OG butter chicken. & dont forget about the Lassi (get Mango Lassi if youre not used to the little-sour white looking lassi).
Great Indian restaurant in downtown Charlottetown. Staff are extremely friendly and nice. The quality of food is very good and it s nice that bread or rice is included with the different entrees. Quality of food is very good and would definitely come back if I make another visit to downtown Charlottetown.
Punjabi bites is the best Indian in Charlottetown! Its our favorite spot in town and they do well with delivery too. Good at matching your spice level if you like it mild or extra spicy, and always so good!
This humble restaurant is about two blocks from the Confederation Center in Charlottetown. The service was good and the menu, extensive. It was all I could do not to enjoy some of the Indian sweets. Our family ordered the butter poutine with chicken, the butter chicken, and another chicken dish. After eating butter chicken for 50 years, this was the best Ive ever had.
Food quality is 0 out of 100. However, service crews are nice and very friendly.I had a veggie thali . They gave me 3 vegetables and 1 naan with it also I add additional garlic naans. The whole food was nasty and I got pain in stomach after eating the food. I am pretty sure the food was not fresh at all. It seems like they made it 10 days ago and delivered to me the expired food. I think they are just microwaving the food and getting sale from it. This is what I realize after I had food from them
Authentic Indian food. The Amritsari Fish was delicious, the perfect amount of spices. The gur tea was delicious. Serve was great *we actually went there the next day for dinner, it was amazing, great food , friendly service , good portion sizes.
Sehaj was our server and she was so polite and serving everything timely. Her customer service was great. Food was delicious, the best experience in Charlottetown till the date. Will revisit definitely. Also not to mention, the prices are pretty reasonable.
We really enjoyed our experience here. The food was excellent and the service was as well. We ordered Bhindi Masala, Special Chicken Kali Mirch, Lamb Lababdar, and garlic naans.
great food, love the thali and chicken 65. the sweets are delicious. the servers are very nice and helpful, seem very caring. i wish they offered fresh jalebi!
So this is happening with me second time once I went there with my husband and family on our aniversary and trust me when I came home within two hours I got very bad health conditions I did vomit more than 4 times and now today I order through Uber eats two butter poutines and Manchurian same thing happened again not only me this time my husband also faced the same conditions we were outside after eating that poutine snd Manchurian snd we were far away from home honestly we have to rush to the nearby restaurant s restroom so that we can vomit it was disgusting experience I would definitely not recommend to eat in this restaurant it can happen may be once that there could be another reason behind this but it cannot happen three times
Loved the butter chicken, naan, mango lasse and the perfect lamb, relaxing atmosphere. Staff friendly. Cant wait to go again
When we first passed Punjabi Bites in the way to an errand, the smell was so enticing that we had to return. We were not disappointed as the food was amazing. We ordered 3 items of various hotness levels (medium, hot, and very hot) and were pleasantly surprised that they were true to name. I would highly recommend Punjabi Bites!
Food I ordered wasnt fresh and didnt taste as expected..we started feeling sick after eating their food. Expensive and tasteless. I wont recommend for ordering food for delivery.
Service is very bad they literally take around 1-1.5 hours to bring the food on table and that s really not acceptable. But the taste and quality of the food its top notch really worth it
Excellent service such a great place. Sehaj is amazing she is very welcoming and made our experience wonderful
Went there for breakfast food was really good and fresh. They never give us a chance to disappoint. Server done by sehaj was amazing she suggested us really good stuff. She is so helpful and kind.
Food was really good and staff was really kind and professional. Must try
Overall had an awesome time, food was amazing and priced were fair. Definitely recommend this to any Indian food lovers out there
Food was so delicious and also the staff was so friendly
Food was amazing as usual and very delicious!! Highly recommend Punjabi bites for their tandoori chicken and their awesome curries. My favourite is chicken or paneer lababdar.
One of the best place to eat. The staff is super good. Special thanks to Sehaj. Food
Yesterday went for lunch food was good and service was great
We went today for a lunch with my friends and food was delicious and service was great
Their food is sooo good!! Also their services are excellent, i am definitely going to come again! Excellent restaurant great authentic Indian flavours! Food
The food was incredible. Went here twice during our 4 day trip to PEI. Must try
Manjot and Sehaj are awesome thanks for the service
Food was really good. Services were nice. Manjot was great!!
Worst quality biryani for 19 freaking dollar. This restaurant is the biggest ripoff so far on this island. Jacked up prices of biryanis and yanked the quality and quantity of the product. Do not waste your hard earn money on this restaurant
Terrible food , all the time i order online they always compromise with cooking and quality. Today i ordered cholle bhature and it was so thick and uncooked , it caused me vomitting. This was my last time with them .
What a great little place! Had dinner there and the food was fresh and delicious! Excellent warm friendly service and the price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
Manjit was really nice and hospitable. She deserves raise.
Vegetarian options: Food is soo delicious and fresh. Excellent service Food
I went there few days back first time. Did not disappoint. Everything was good. Food was delicious and the server was welcoming. Recommended dishes Paneer Paratha
Nice ambiance delicious food excellent service sahej is super friendly and nice service highly recommended
Awesome food.. We tried first time this place. Awesome service recommend to each and everyone.. Vegetarian options: Both kind of options available
I would love to give it 5 stars because the food was so great. As someone who eats a lot of Indian food, this place did not disappoint. The inside feels a bit dated and could probably use a bit of a makeover and unfortunately, the service was not great. Friendly but very slow and unresponsive. We were one of only a couple of groups, but if this place was busy, I d assume we d be waiting a long time to get service. Perhaps it was an off night so I would definitely give it another try since the food was so good, and all things considered, it made up for the service.
best food on island till now
I ordered a chilli chicken, but they have me a Stale and old smelly chicken pieces.
I ordered shahi paneer and dal makhani this afternoon and it was amazing.
I am visiting from out of town! Food here is fantastic. Had the veg pakora, and paneer tikka masala with rice and naan! I had enough for left overs! The only downfall in my opinion is the service provided. The staff are friendly, however they lack in providing service. I usually don t complain about service, but it was wild. No check backs for apps or my main meal. I also had to wait almost 20 mins to get a take away container! The restaurant did not appear to be busy, maybe it was take away?!Not sure if this delay is usual or not! I would re visit for the food!
It was good experience at Punjabi Bites. I went there yesterday with my family. I have tried daal makhni and naan. They tastes good. Lassi was delicious too .
Punjabi bites restaurant offers a delicious food. I went there with my family last night, we ordered a chicken curry, dal makhani, malai kofta which are super delicious and food has Indian taste. It is the best place to essence the taste of Indian food in the city and perfect place for outing and having a dinner.
The taste of food was not that good, the spices were not proper
Service was horrible.
Me and my friend went for dinner at punjabi bites last night ambience looks so busy at that time so we definately expected some delays for my order but still we got our food on time and service done by a girl name sehaj was perfect
The service was so slow they almost took an hour to get the food. We have been waiting for so long and no one came to even inform that it s gonna take time or whatever. It was ridiculous.
Today I went for breakfast and we had Amritsari kulcha. It was amazing and service provide by sehaj was perfect. I really appriciate it
Best amritsari kulcha i ever had and service was great
Food was really tasty 10/10 and recommendation by server sehaj was amazing she is having good knowledge of menu. Can say best restaurant in town
Food was very good and service was very well must try champ
Thank you to Punjabi bites for supporting Hindu Society and helping us spread our message across the island! The Hindu Society of PEI appreciates the effort and support! Thank you
Great customer service! We ordered chicken tikka masala, but received chicken tikka instead. However, the server provided both dishes and only charged us for one. Additionally, the quantity of the food is really small, compared to the price you pay. It would be nice if they increased the quantity to match the price.
Best Indian food ever had in Canada. I have had north Indian food in Brampton and Surrey, but this was even better. Dal makhni and Butter Chicken are go to dishes
Its amazing.. food is delicious Specially staff very cooperative Food
Excellent service
Good enough for Canada. I will be back to try more food soon. I tried Samosa Chat, although I asked the most spicy option available it still was not spicy enough, but overall it was good. More onions and green chilly will be an good improvement for sure cause, it barely had onions. I didnt try Pakoras but my friend said it was fine.
Dal makhni was sweet, not worth the price they charged. Will not recommend
best food ever i ate in canada i eat mostly all provinces but this is best i recommend just try once you never stop your self thank you chef and all crew
Easily the best Indian food in Charlottetown right now.
Great experience and staff members are really great and service also and food was great
The portion of food and its taste was really good, definitely will recommend! Vegetarian options: Veggie thali Food : 5/5 |
Good service very nice food
The service was quick. Food was delicious and the girl serving the food was very nice.
Food was great. Expensive compared to other Indian restaurants. Aesthetically it s alright, small space but clean. Plus points- they are open even during holidays! Went there for dinner and brunch.
Vegetarian options: Pav bhaji , cauliflower sweet n sour , noodle burger ,chilli paneer amazing Food
punjabi bites food is so delicious and service is so good and fast sehaj is one of best employee suggest good food items and very positive nature
Amazing food
Vegetarian options: We had two veg thali and the quantity was enough than more very tasty and good quality. Moreover service given by sehaj was amazing she did a great job. She take care very well of everything. Food : 5/5
Very good service and tasty food. I liked Sehaj serving skills. Must visit place.
I tried soya tandoori chaap, it was wonderful.. same like indian taste.. even the service given by Sehaj, that was also awesome .
They butter poutine was so good it was the best poutine I ever had. Aloo prontha combo itself is so good . The chicken korma was also very delicious
How can you not love this place,Food was so delicious, prices are good and our server sehaj is so friendly recommended some of their specialities,We ate manchurian, samosa chat, tikki chat.Love this place.
Food was delicious must try ice cream with gulab jamun and server sehaj served very well
Food stuff is very good at this place And the service by the girl was very nice Food
We had Khadai Paneer and Malai Kofta which had perfect blend of spices. Presentation is also in point. We went thrice in just a month and had tried their Samosa chat and Soya chap in appetizers. Vegetarian options: We went thrice in just a month and had tried their Samosa chat and Soya chap which taste amazing.
Me and my friends went for dinner in punjabi bites the food was so good in taste but i specially like the tandoori soya chaap and also like the naan breads and the girl name sehaj she was doing excellent job. Good work keep it up
5star in all best punjabi restaurant in the town must try saag and makki di roti
Authentic Indian food and taste. Excellent service and hospitality.
Taste is really good and if you wanna compare it with the other indian restaurants in Charlottetown Downtown. I tried all three; Punjabi bites is on top wrt taste, service and the songs collection Food
Very good place to eat
Wow! Great food, fun music, friendly -helpful staff. The Chai was amazing. We started with the Pau Bhaji, Dahi Bhalla and the surprise hit butter poutine- crazy good. The Bhindi Masala and Malai Kofta were excellent. Top to bottom an excellent meal.
Food is awesome! Reminds me my home . Excellent service. Food : 5/5
Tried the so delicious masala and biryani chicken
I tried food from different Indian restaurants in Atlantic provinces and this is the best restaurant among all. The food was so delicious! We ordered chili paneer, paneer tikka masala, chaap and dal makhani and I love the quality and quantity of food.
This place offers a delightful array of Indian dishes with authentic flavors. The staff is welcoming and provides attentive service. We kicked off our meal with the flavorful and spicy Manchurian, which truly impressed us! However, the Gol Gappe left a bit to be desired, with sparse filling, making it more like puri and water. Moving on to the main course, the Malai Kofta and Paneer Tikka Masala were delightful and satisfying. Overall, it was a good dining experience.
Great food Great service
Food was very delicious, ambience was good. Chicken pieces in the tikka masala was so soft, even the rotis and the naan bread. Please do open a branch in Saint John, NB. You will get an overwhelming response.
I recently visited Punjabi Bites with my friends. The food was good but if we Compare its quantity with the price it s totally injustice.
We had a fantastic meal at Punjabi Bites, everything was delicious and just perfectly cooked. We cant stop talking about how much we loved this restaurant. Highly recommend!
This was absolutely delicious. Good value for the money and everyone enjoyed their food.
I recently visted with my friends. Food quality was good but quantity was very low. It used to have enough quantity three months ago but now they have changed it with smaller plates. We asked they said the chef changed the dishes. Thats not an acceptable reason if you are reducing the quantity the price should be low as well. Specially Manchurian and soya chaap. !!!!! DONT RIP OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!!!
Great food, it tasted amazing. The service was slow and the food was even slower. We waiting more then it actually took for us to finish our meals. However, the food was really good and tasted amazing. We had leftovers and it tasted just the same a
Highly recommend, must try this place. I like the service and the quality of food, and next time i will definitely try tandoori fish.
My partner and I went at a very quiet time. The atmosphere was nice but the waiter was on his phone most of the time and didnt regularly come over a pour us water. The butter chicken had a very distinct tomato soup like taste to it and the lamb vindaloo was very gamey. Overvall did not enjoy the experience despite liking the place itself.
Our visit to Punjabi bites was awesome. A girl with name Sehaj, her customer service was great, and also food was so good. Highly recommended.
Best place to visit really good staff My fav in Pei .Must visit
Sehaj the server she was really amazing and friendly. She was having knowledge about the products and service all I can say is great customer service and place you can try good food and reasonable price
WOW! Had the butter chicken (mild) with n #Islandred from #Gahan. SO MUCH FLAVOUR. Do yourself a flavour: get the Naan bread and wipe out the dishes. So much flavour. Our new favorite Indian restaurant. We WILL be back Kid-friendliness: Very friendly service.
The tandoori chicken was so yummy!!! Food was so delicious and service by Sehaj was quick and amazing! Would definitely recommend to check this restaurant out!
Quality Quantity Taste Staff Endless
Best indian food on the island imo! Lamb Briani Food : 5/5
Dined in for lunch on a cool, rainy summer day. After days of bland lobster and chowder overload, Punjabi Bites was a most welcomed explosion of spice and delicious flavor. On par with the tastiest Indian restaurants we ve enjoyed in big cities at home including DC and NYC. Malai kofta and butter chicken both excellent and right amount of heat and spice. Highly recommended.
Food was amazing.
Best Baingan bharta that I have ever tasted and contrary to all the other restaurant they are NEVER out of stock!!! Thank you so much the team is so welcoming beautiful cosy restaurant
Amazing quality food. Was pleasantly surprised by the taste.
Everything was wonderful from customer service to the quantity of food. Thankyou so much for having us.
Great service. The appetizers were amazing and the service was very fast. Thankyou :)
Great place for a party. They are super friendly and quality of food is excellent.
