Casa Mia Downtown is a local favourite in the heart of Charlottetown. We offer a modern ambience that is perfect for a business luncheon or an evening out on the town. Now that we offer instant and confirmed reservations, you can book your table today for breakfast, lunch and dinner! We continue to offer an expansive menu for breakfast, lunch and, most recently dinner. Our pizza menu is ever expanding! Don't forget to inquire about our specials! We look forward to serving you soon.
It was my husband's birthday yesterday and he had a yen for chicken parmigiana so we thought we'd try Casa Mia...and we're glad we did! Our first impression was good. The ambience is modern with clean lines and simple yet beautiful accents. The food was excellent! The pollo parmigiana was perfect and the garlic shrimp was exactly as described with juicy, expertly cooked shrimp and a nice hint of heat in the olive oil. Finally, the service... Our server and the kitchen staff were exemplary. Kate truly embodies service excellence along with being personable, attentive and genuinely charming. We also had the pleasure of meeting Herman whose warm personality contributed positively to our thoroughly enjoyable evening. Casa Mia is a gem and we'll certainly be back!
Best brunch in all of the East Coast!!! I had the Pear & banana cream cheese stuffed French Toast, with a side of their unique potatoes. It was the best french toast I’ve ever had. The portion size was huge, I couldn’t finish it all. Being vegetarian, they had no issue substituting the bacon for me without an extra fee, which I appreciate. The caramel iced coffee was under $3- you can’t get that anywhere for that low price, and it was delicious. The food was piping hot, just the way I like it. We all very much enjoyed our meals. Server was friendly and helpful.
We were in a rush, so mostly this will review the food. We got the bacon and pear sandwich with fries on the side. Positive: the bread/focaccia on the sandwich was incredible, the ingredients on the sandwich were very good as well, the sandwich was very big so you got good quantity, the fries were hot and crispy. Negative: the price was bonkers - for one sandwich and fries on the side with only water (we did add chicken to the sandwich bc it normally only came with bacon and pear), it was almost $40. That was one meal, no drinks. The fries were the coated frozen ones you get from Costco and tasted like they were deep fried in the same oil as the fish. I was definitely expecting hand cut ones on the island famous for potatoes. There was very little chicken on the sandwich for an upcharge of $7. The pear on the sandwich tasted good but was hard and not ripe. Overall, it was good and I would recommend, but be aware it's a tourist trap and pricey. And try the salad unless you're really craving fries.
I truly enjoyed my brunch here on Monday ! The atmosphere was superb. As soon as we walked in we were seated and once we ordered, our food was done in 10 minutes or maybe less. The drinks were the best that I’ve ever had and not watered down at all like some places. Didn’t feel rushed to leave either. We got a Casa Mia skillet and the fluffy French toast with maple and sausage ! Best French toast I’ve ever had. I have no idea why I’ve never dined here after living on PEI for years and years ! I will be back especially for that lemon drop drink.
This was a superb place to eat. We had the chicken fettuccine and shrimp linguine entrees. The bread was amazing !! We went back for a second meal because we like the food so much. We ordered the ChickenPesto Pizza. Best pizza crust I’ve ever had. The waitress was very nice and we had a great conversation.
Food was fantastic, the pizza was easily some of the best i've ever had in Canada. Plus the service was fast and the staff were nice. Things can get a little pricey but we all ended up splitting some Pizza and appetizers, which ended up being much more affordable than everyone buying their own meal.
Real great Italian restaurant that also serves your standard breakfast items. Came here pretty early ~730am, so had no issue sitting down and getting quick service. The coffee here was amazing - large portions, for both the lattes and cappuccino. The breakfast portions were amazing - had both the Casa Mia Eggs Benny and the Casa Mia Hash. Very tasty, well seasoned, and eggs prepared on point. Price range is also decent for the quality and size of food.
I've edited my review based on a more recent visit. I was extremely disappointed on all fronts. I asked for extra salmon with the Salmon Bagel and they literally gave me ONE extra slice of salmon and charged $8.00 CAD for it. The waitress was completely unapologetic, made excuses about adding "extra" salmon, and didn't even offer to waive the costs. Overall the service was mediocre at best, the prices have also increased exponentially (we spent $105 CAD for three people) and the food is certainly not worth it anymore. There are plenty of other places downtown that you can try with better service and better food.
The food and service (breakfast) was excellent. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere very nice.
Very good food and staff. On the dessert menu, there is Cannoli, but it only comes with one. Cannoli is the plural form of the Italian dessert, cannolo. I wouldnt recommend ordering it anyway.
Lasagna taste good
We were greeted by a very pleasant young man who we later found out he was pulled from the kitchen to greet and assist where needed because they were short staffed. Keep him out front, what a fine young man. The rest of the staff were overly pleasant and overly accommodating, so nice to chat to and fun. Let s get to the food. Presentation, 11 out of 10, taste 12 out of 10. Amazing restaurant, we will be returning on our next trip to PEI!
We were recommended to go here from a few people. I was excited about the pizza, so I decided to stop in for takeout on the way back to the hotel. I came in, and nobody greeted me, so I walked up to the bar and sat to order( the bar had random things on it that shouldnt be there) and asked if I could order for takeout and the waitress said I could and I asked if it would be about 20 mins and she informed me there was a big table was waiting for their food but should be about 20. About 20 mins in, I asked if I could also order fajitas as well but didnt want to wait for to long. I was informed it was in the process which turned out to be a miscommunication. I ordered 2 glasses of wine in the process of waiting come 45 mins later and jokingly asked if they forgot my order and still took another 5-7 mins after that. I understand these things occasionally happen, but I was not offered a discount or anything extra for the inconvenience which is why I am taking the time to write this review which would otherwise be a 5 star if they tried to make it right. Food was good. I hope your service is better then mine!
GOOD
A gem in the heart of downtown. Consistently great food and service
They really nice and friendly and theme food was so good
Delicious tiramisu a gem in PEI will definitely come again
Amazing food & great service! Stopped in for lunch with my 2 year old twins- probably a little too fancy for them. Had the kids pepperoni pizza 10/10 - excellent and a huge serving The grilled vegetable panini was incredible! Definitely a place to check out!
Excellent good service and good food
Great location across the street from the Confederation center and in the center of the Charlotte town art center. Food is great. In 2017 we stayed in the VRBO above the restaurant and spend a week there. Had a great time.
My daughter, son and I stopped in on Sunday at noon without a reservation and they managed to squeeze us in. We had the stuffed French toast, pancakes and pulled pork sandwich, all which were delicious and very filling. The wait staff were attentive and friendly and also extremely busy. The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back.
We visited yesterday at noon and were able to just squeeze in. Had the stuffed French toast, pancakes and pulled pork sandwich. All three were delicious and filling. The service was quick considering how busy it was. I recommend stopping in for a bite if you are in the area.
I recently had a reunion with 65 people at Casa Mia downtown. The food, service and atmosphere were fantastic! Thank you for a great time!
Breakfast was good, we had three diners, one person loved their meal the other two gave mixed reviews. We suggest you offer real maple syrup (even at additional cost), and suggest you use local fruit in your fruit bowl which is available this time of year.
We shared the stuffed french toast and island country breakfast. Both were delicious and well presented. We had a great spot on the outdoor patio. Service was very quick and friendly. I would definitely go back again.
This is my staple restaurant in Charlottetown. The cobb salad is delicious and I crave it quite often. The best cobb salad ive ever had! The staff are friendly, attentive and helpful. I also love their patio area during the summer months. I love this place!
Terrible service they gave my food to the table beside me, that s okay but I ordered 1 drink and again they did it. Of course we gave a tip but worst service highly recommend to never ever come here please see other places on PEI Maid Marines much better!!!!
Great Pizza!! Very good!! :-)
We had such a good experience here before the parade. The patio was nice, the service was very good and the food was fantastic. I had the keto breakfast and the steak was so good. It is pricey for breakfast but was worth it. Coffee was really good too Vegetarian options: The veggie omelet was great with lots of spinach
Quality food and stylish decor. Really good brunch at reasonable prices.
Sat down with not a soul in the restaurant. Waitress brought us menus but did not offer a coffee or drink. We decided what we wanted and waited while the waitress purused her social media behind the bar for 10 minutes. We walked out and she acted like this was normal. We have great food here in the past but the service today was garbage.
Went for dinner with my family and my wife found pieces of broken clam shell or whatever it was in her shrimp fettuccine and when asked the waitress about it she said NOTHING WE CAN DO we asked for the chef simply to identify what it is and if we should be concerned the chef said ITS NOT POISON HA HA HA we asked what exactly was it in the food he couldn t tell us then said WE COMPLAINED ALL NIGHT THE LEVEL OF RACISM WE FELT THAT NIGHT WAS OVERWHELMING
Service was beyond terrible. Restaurant was almost empty. We got menus and we waited 20 minutes, I had to get a server to come to our table to take our order. Everything took forever to get to us. We orders drinks and they completely forgot and didnt even apologize. After waiting again, we were then informed they didnt have the drink my partner wanted. We had two different serves both stumbling around confused and had no idea what they were doing. The food was just mediocre nothing to brag about. Will never go back, it was painful.
Good buger & coffee
Maybe the best meal I ve ever had while visiting PEI. Chicken Parmesan was the best I ve ever had, and the focaccia bread was delicious.
Casa Mia Downtown is my fav breakfast place in PEI. Amazing selection of breakfast and brunch items (and great salads, soups and pastas), it s always packed with fans of their food. Great for dinner and evening hanging out with friends! Recently renovated to allow for a few more tables without being cramped, it s a welcoming place to join others for tea or a vast selection of specialty coffees. The bar is perfect for late night! But their maple-touched hash browns are a gift from the heavens. And their chowder is the best on an Island famous for their chowder. Gina, the owner, couldn t be more charming or dedicated to making sure their diners are treated like royalty. Luv this place!!!
Avoid eggs Benedict! Sauce was runny and tasted like pure lemon. The waiter changed the order right away. Service was very good. I had pancakes instead which were ok, but I wouldn t recommend as s breakfast restaurant.
Breakfast here was absolutely delicious!
Amazing! The service was great from the moment we entered. That is always a good sign. Of course the scenery was outstanding and then the food came.....OMG. We ordered chowder, oysters, lobster dish and margaritas and local beer. So amazing. Kudos to the Chef, culinary team and the servers. Next time we go to Casa Mia, we will order exactly the same menu items. Well done people. Not many place get it right. Im a Red Seal Chef and I completely endorse Casa Mia.
I recently visited Casa Mia and was thoroughly impressed with their dedication to gluten-free dining. Kim was incredibly knowledgeable about gluten-free options, ensuring a safe and enjoyable meal. They even use a separate toaster to avoid cross-contamination. The gluten-free breakfast was outstanding! We tried the keto breakfast skillet with steak, eggs, and bacon it was absolutely amazing. Weve been there a few times and ate various gluten free and non-gluten free meals, and each visit has been fantastic. Highly recommended!
Friendly staff, delicious food, amazing service!
My husband and I had a wonderful breakfast at Casa Mia while on vacation in PEI. It was recommended to us by the staff at our hotel. Highly recommend the stuffed French toast and PEI potato hash! Great staff and nice modern decor.
Perfect GF breakfast :) The best tasty Mimosas as well ! Service was amazing with some great smiles ! Dietary restrictions: Gluten intolerant
Tried to eat here before a show at the theater. We waited to be seated 5 minutes in a mostly empty place. No staff ever came to greet us or take an order. We had to leave. We would have left even if we werent going to the show.
Great place for breakfast. Had the vegetarian omelette and it was made to perfection.
Excellent restaurant for lunch. Generous portions, lots of choice. Homemade bread, fresh fruit, tasty bacon. The coffee is very good too. Its worth the price. Beautiful terrace, friendly waitresses. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian omelette with fruit, very good
Service was terrible! And by terrible, I mean the worst I have ever had in 54 years of life!
Its sparse, thete were several types if bread on the chalkboard, but when I asked for bread while waiting for my meal, I was told no, It came with the meal.
Great food, good service, nice atmosphere. Best breakfast/brunch spot in Charlottetown.
Food is always great
Food was incredible!
Great food and menu selection. Sherry and I will be back.
Fantastic food. We go here at least once a week.
I can honestly say Casa Mia is one of the best restaurants in Charlottetown. Food, atmosphere and staff are top notch and the experience is worth it alone.
Excellent food, very good service. The potatoes taste like heaven! Parking: Several parking spaces in front of the building, with paid terminals from Monday to Friday but free on weekends.
Only had coffee. Coffee was mediocre, to say the least. Food prices look high.
I ordered the Winter Dine and wow it was fantastic
Nice experience. Server was fantastic.
It was expensive
Ours was an anniversary dinner. The staff asked about our music preference (blues). Our martinis were perfect. The meal was great. I asked for Chicagos Colour My World to play so my husband and I could waltz to our wedding song and they beautifully accommodated the request. It was a lovely evening. Thank you so much!
My girlfriend and I arrived at the restaurant at 11am. We were told that it would be a 15-20 mins wait. The waitress took our number and told us she would give us a call when the table was ready. After waiting for 45 mins we decided to leave. We never got a phone call all day.
Great food and Service from Nicole!
Best Coffee in Town.
The food was horrible and my husband got food poisoning. The server looked like he would be happier at funerals.
The seafood fetuccine was phenomenal. Must try theit food. Amazing!
Absolutely amazing food and service. Most definitely eating here again and again. What a treasure .
Good atmosphere, good service, good food .
Very good food Great service Food
Nice atmosphere. Great place for lunch, I love their salads and sandwiches. Ive had great breakfast as well. Dont find the servers check on the tables very often once youve gotten your food but they are pleasant.
Breakfast Taco! Yum.
Went for breakfast and it was lovely. Definitely recommend Vegetarian options: Had a vegetarian omelet and it was very good Food : 5/5 |
My friend and I came over here from Ontario to try some things and sightsee. I found this restaurant from a video on tiktok and I m so glad we came!!! The food, amazing! Our server Ernie was so attentive and warm. We had the fish & chips, muscles in white wine sauce, Siciliana pizza & bruschetta, sooo good! They also make an amazing espresso martini. If you re on the island, it s absolutely worth the stop! 10/10 recommend!
Great place for breakfast
This restaurant is as Italian as a Domino Pizza. Nothing oozes Italy, interior could be from Ikea, ambiance and feel is cold and sober. Got seated quickly but then nothing happened for 10 minutes. 5 tables were occupied at the time. Waiter shows up and asked for the drink order, but since we werent given a beverage list, we couldnt order. Food was surprisingly good. Table clearing however needs improving, customers have long gone, tables still dirty. The devil is in the details.. Sorry to say, but we wont be back.
Had lunch. Pretty good. People having breakfast looked better.
I found the service staff a little lack luster
Good eats and service, dinner menu ranging from sea food, pizza to avoid selection of salads and appetizers. There is a separate lunch/brunch menu for daytime...
Always delicious!!!
Went to both locations 10 outta 10 Best potato salad in the world Food : 5/5
Had a lovely dinner this evening! We ordered a carsar salad, seafood linguini and classic pizza. All delicious! The sever was delightful as well. Would definitely recommend!
Great dining room
Clean, casual decor, food is great, servers are wonderful, service speed is good too :)
We met to celebrate my daughter with her friends and family, we had a very pleasant time since they have space for large and small groups, their staff was extremely friendly and proactive since they explained each dish to us and of course their food is delicious! Very Canadian style: Delicious mix of contrasting flavors and very very abundant, but dont worry! They can take home what they cannot eat in environmentally friendly containers and there are also options for those who eat little ;))
A lovely spot very centrally located. Relaxing atmosphere and friendly attentive staff. Delicious food but a bit on the pricey side.
Very nice place to eat in Charlottetown food was good service was excellent
Lovely location, delicious food and friendly, helpful staff!
As always, great taste & great service..
Fantastic Breakfast! Had the Casa Mia Hash!!
Great service!
The breakfast tacos were amazing!!! So filling, could share them. The side potatoes are sweet and delicious.
Great menu
Good food, decent prices. A little baffled why everything comes with baked beans, but its a super charming little spot!
Had an utterly delicious brunch with friend I hadnt seen in 20+ years. There was no rush. We sat outside. The servers were sweet. The meals were fresh and had some special flavour additions that made them a cut above.
The food is expensive and does not taste good. Its not worth spending
Perfect spot for brunch!! Food is also amazing
Really disappointed with this spot, the vegetarian options are really lacking. I ordered a croissant sandwich without meat, they put ham on it and it was sooo soggy. Was pretty gross to be honest. Coffee wasn t anything special, prices were really high and the service left a lot to be desired. The decor is cute.
Breakfast was great. Lots of choices.
Oh my goodness! So good! The meatballs are mouth wateringly delicious Eat here Food
We did not have a good experience. We waited 53 minutes for food that was cold and over cooked. When we let our server know she responded with I will tell the cook your concerns. No replacement or compensation. It is too bad the food and service are lacking because the location is great.
Walked in with 7 people and no reservations, they accommodated us with no issues. The food and service was fast and delicious. Reccomend the oysters Rockefeller.
Overpriced
Last minute dinner, but what a nice surprise! My grilled seafood plate was wonderful! The childrens mac and cheese generous portion, rosé penne also very good. Friendly and very welcoming waitress for my 2 young children.
The Best breakfast
Great outdoor eating and good food. Tasty calamari and chi Ken wings.
The waitress felt surprise that we didnt be here before as Charlottetowners Yes, we should have been here 5 years ago! We didnt just because its always full. The options are various. The dishes were big and delicious. We absolutely will come here from time to time.
Excellent stuffed banana French toast
A wide variety of Italian and seafood. Great wine and beer selections.
Great meal at a good restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was just as good. I had the Farmers omlete and I did good to finish it. There was that much food on my plate and Im a big eater. The awesome coffee can be purchased and enjoyed at home. They have whole bean and ground coffee for sale. Enjoy yourself
Well done coffee
Breakfast. Very busy. Good service & food.
Perfect place with a wonderful atmosphere and really delicious food
The prices were not clearly stated on the menu, when we brought this issue up to the supervisor on duty he didn t seem to care. It s too bad because I was always a fan of Casa Mia
Great food and service
Great food,nice atmosphere
excellent efficient friendly service and the food was great. I had the spaghetti bolognese which i would put in the top 3 of pastas ive ever had. Will be returning here, again and again.
Decent pizza and pasta. Great service.
So glad I walked in; super service, best breakfast, proper prices, cupfuls of coffee,,,,10/10
Cozy ambience, lots of space for a relaxed breakfast. Friendly staff.
Extraordinary. Probably the best French Toast I ve had in my life, and easily the best breakfast eatery on PEI.
Our meal and service was excellent...Had the Spaghetti Bolognese and it was wonderful!
Delish all the way. The cannoli filling was perfect on the sweet and creamy. The pasta we ordered two different ones, we would order both types again. Totally worth a visit.
Best pizza I have ever eaten. Honestly- not even one bite that I didnt love. The waitress and waiter were very kind, and helped me choose my food and such since I was a first time customer, they offered water and were extremely helpful. TL;DR They didnt take too long, the food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Will I be returning? Of course!
Always have gone for their breakfast. Always great and never disappoints!! Great food and service!
Nice spot with fresh food
Great service, lots on plate, taste great, nice atmosphere, would go back again
Quantity over Quality The potatoes were overcooked and greasy. The ham was ultra-thin, a cheap cut! The presentation in a cast iron frying pan was attractive. The scrambled egg was o k but I am not sure a spatula was used which does the best job. I won t be quick to try this place twice.
I chose Casa Mia for our Fix Auto Christmas Party, they accommodated us (30 guests) with any problem at all. The food was delicious, and Gina with her team were so friendly. 100% recommended.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all amazing here. One of our favorite places in Charlottetown. We highly recommend making a dinner reservation on the busy summer weekends.
Service was friendly and I enjoyed my meal.
In short....stay away and go somewhere else. Brutal, almost non-existent, customer service (obviously inexperienced/ignorant wait staff) with over-priced, mis-described, and tasteless food. They screwed up my wifes order (poached vs scrambled eggs) and it took our disappearing waitress almost half an hour to bring out the corrected order. By that time, the rest of us had finished our meals and my wifes other food items were almost cold. When I confronted the waitress about all this, and the fact that she hadnt been by our table at all for 30 minutes, she said the best they could do was a 20% discount on my wifes $19.99 Casa Mia Hash (which was bland and mis-represented BTW) and that the restaurant had gotten busy hence her not coming by. Nothing like argumentative and never-wrong wait staff.....unbelievable. Unfortunately, downtown Charlottetown has an incredible dearth of decent breakfast places so expensive bland food poorly served by incompetent wait staff is tolerated and persists. Charlottetown desperately need a Dennys, Coras, or IHOP to set up shop downtown but I would assume financially it is a non-starter for these larger chains given that from October to April the business would be running on fumes without the well-heeled tourists.
Didn t mind our breakfast, but was expecting more given the previous reviews. Potato hashbrowns weren t crispy and they served me the wrong order. Eggs seemed on the small side. Was pricey for a mediocre breakfast, not worth $50 for 2 people. No customer service, waitress didn t come by to check on us, and didn t come by at all until I stopped her passing by and asked for the bill.
Great food all around, excellent pizza, and wonderful service.
Sweet waitresses.
Went for brunch for the first time here and I should say it wasnt up to my expectation. I found the brunch little over priced and the food missed out the key elements like blueberry, fruit croulis and baked beans! Theres definitely room for improvement!
May be the best place Ive ate at! Had amazing service and great food! 10/10
A charming interior, a nice and clean looking atmosphere. This looks like a great place to have a nice breakfast. The waitress was friendly and sat me down fairly quickly, mind you there was maybe 4 customers inside. I ordered the veggie omelete with a Cafe mocha drink. The mocha was perfect. It was everything I hoped for and more. But when it came to the omelete I wasnt impressed. Everything needs some seasoning. My 4 pieces of toast, the 2 inside ones were burnt and the omelete itself was overcooked and needed some seasoning. Good thing a salt shaker was nearby. The potatoes didnt taste fresh, there was no crispiness to them at all. Its like it was cooked earlier and reheated. You cant tell me they were cooked fresh, because I know what the texture should taste like. Its just like the day old potatoes I heat up at home. I didnt try any pastries but they do look quite nice in the photos.
Visiting the area. Loved this place for breakfast. Prices were excellent for food portions. The waitress was delightful. The staff helpful. We appreciated coming here for breakfast as visitors. If I lived here this would be my go to place.
Amazing food and service. CANT WAIT to go back!
Great service, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere!
Consistently the best Italian food on PEI. Presentation was beautiful and our meals were delicious. Service was excellent too!
Love this place. Great place to have breakfast when in Charlottetown. You won t find anything better.
Amazing food, amazing staff and service ! food was so good and very hot when arrived !
Waitress was cranky as hell and serving sizes are just fair no iced tea either
Another great dine-in experience, this time for breakfast. I had the Island Country Breakfast menu option which had toast, eggs, sausage, bacon and hash. I also ordered a pancake as an extra side which I have to say was absolutely delicious, surprisingly light and fluffy with syrup, fruit puree and whipped cream. Service was excellent and the food was great.
We ate well on the outside terrace
Yum! First time trying here and impressed. Friendly staff and cant find a what I call chicken parm decent anywhere in town. Chicken was amazing. We ordered the Pollo Parmigiano and substituted the noodles with penne and tomatoe cream sauce (rose sauce) for a few extra bucks and me and my fiance super enjoyed it and our six year old daughter was just shoveling it in lol shes normally a bit if a slow picky eater. I can not say enough how amazing the chicken was I would go back just for that. Also tried one with alfredo fettuccine and wernt a fan but normally were not alfredo fan. I would recommend.
Slow service but good food.
The food was adequate but our server couldnt have cared less if she tried! She never even bothered with a drink order. We waited a long time for our food.
Our waitrss was bored and didnt want to be there. She gave us minimal attention. Never took our drink orders. I will never go back or recomend that place to anyone! It was a horrible experience!!
Disappointing. When we walked by for breakfast there were people eating on the patio. Usually a good sign. We ordered. The waitress was confused when my wife ordered whole wheat or rye toast saying they only has white toast. She got more confused when I asked for my eggs sunny side up, saying that wasnt an option. The gentleman who sat at the table behind us ordered after us, was served and finished his meal before our food came out. By this point his table and ours were the only ones on the patio. While we were waiting our waitress came back to our table and asked if we needed anything else to which we responded Yes, the food we ordered. We were about to walk out when another wait staff brought out our food. I ordered the Casa skillet which came out on a wood board, which makes sense because a skillet would be hot. It wasnt, and neither was the meal. A third wait staff came over and asked how everything was and we told him the food was barely warm. He acknowledged that and then just walked away. I would not recommend this place for breakfast.
Nice place to eat in downtown Charlottetown.
Very good service, good food
Got breakfast with my friends, was surprised at how fast they sat us and our food arrived for how busy it was
Enjoyed a delicious brunch with family while on vacation with family! Great food and service!
Breakfast was ok,the best thing was the buttered bread. I was hoping for stronger coffee it tasted a bit watered down
Easily one of best spots for breakfast lunch or coffee. Me and my wife usually go there for a quick coffee stop or breakfast. My favourite is a slice of tiramisu cake. Heavenly.
WOW! The food here for breakfast was amazing! GET THE POTATOES. The breakfast was so good. We got an omelette and I cried when the potatoes were gone. The staff was amazing and friendly. We will be back.
Had the horrible experience of going to Casa Mia today for lunch with my two sisters. The place was not busy and we were sat immediately. The water brought us water and we ordered our meals 5 minutes after arriving. One sister ordered the Grilled Vegetable Panini, while my other sister and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich. We waited a ridiculous 45 minutes for the food to come to our table. Not once in that 45 minute wait time did the waiter come to our table with any kind of update on our order or explanation for the delay. Finally the waiter came out with our food my one sister s Grilled Vegetable Panini and for my other sister and I the Casa Mia Club! WRONG ORDER. We immediately told the waiter that it was not what we had ordered .that we had ordered the Chicken Parmigiana Sandwich. His words exactly No you didn t were out of Chicken Parmigiana. You ordered the Chicken Club. This after now 50 minutes in the restaurant! One, never correct a patron about what they ordered. There is no doubt we know exactly what we ordered and two, don t become defensive about the error rather than being apologetic. The waiter left to see the manager and, after talking to him for a couple of minutes, the manager came to our table. His first line it s my understanding you think you ordered something other than Chicken Club, but we haven t had Chicken Parmigiana since this morning. In other words I believe my waiter over you. It was absolutely unbelievable, and when one of my sisters let him know we weren t appreciative of the insinuation and that the least he could do was comp the two wrong meals, his reply was Well maybe I will . We told him to forget it, and after almost an hour, we left! I don t care if the food is decent at Casa Mia .because of the service an attitude, we will NEVER go back. One if the worst experiences at a restaurant in 40 years!
Friendly service, good prices
Awesome pizza! Youll have a hard time not eating the whole pie yourself!!! Highly recommended!
We had people on a tour of the Cruise Ship and we couldnt be more pleased.
Great food and service. Went for breakfast and had French toast which was tasty. Not the cheapest diner but you get what you pay for.
Best food and service I ever had
Nothing terribly notable about the breakfast. Terrible coffee and processed ham in the omelet to the tune of thirty dollars. This is the third time Ive been, and for all of the visits I cant find much to brag up.
Good little cafe. Tries their tiramisu it was mouthwatering and their cappuccino was pretty good. Wood definitely goes back to taste their food
Had lunch here. Food was flavourful and good portion size. Service was great. Highly recommended!
The food was decent but the service was miserable.
The grilled chicken caesar wrap is incredibly good! Highly recommend!
I showed up too close to closing, received excellent service, larger than expected portions, and great food from the kitchen.
My My
