Ordered a pizza online, went in for pickup after 35 mins and paid. Specifically said I m picking up the online order for extra large donair pizza. Waited another 10 minutes until I went up to the counter and restated this was already ordered (as they were making a fresh one). Workers had extremely poor communication, never told me the pizza stuck to the pan and had to make new which would take more time. Wanted a refund and cancel order, I paid with a credit card and they couldn t refund back to my card gave me cash back minus my tip as well. Won t be back again.

Normally I love jacks i have for years but the customer service has just gone so down. Like last night I placed an order and they confirmed it and set a delivery time I waited over an hour didn t receive anything not even a phone call too let me know what was going on. I called a couple times they didn t answer their phone. Foods great but with a lack of customer service I ll never eat here again

Jacks pizza use to be the go to place back in the day where you would travel 100km just to get their massive slice of pizza! Now it has become just another one of the bunch in Charlottetown. While it does have some decent priced specials, their main menu can be quite expensive for the quality of food they now put out on a regular basis.

Parking: Parking was easy Kid-friendliness: No kindness no friendship, Blank stare...Domain meat was burnt and couldnt eat the wrap because it was so burnt it cracked when unrapped it

Ive heard many speak favourably of Jacks, especially their Donairs, so we decided to try them. They were loaded with meat, sauce and flavour. Medium size was enough. Make sure you grab lots of napkins as theyre messy good! There was a minor problem with billing and a limited choice of cold soft drinks in the cooler. I realize many people choose to pick up orders (it was very busy) but I suggest they may want to give some attention to the dining area atmosphere for eat-in customers. It wont be our last visit!

The place wAs disgusting. So dirty not fit to eat at. Had to get refund before our pizza was done. It was plain disgusting and unsanitary.

Update: called our order into Jacks tonight at 8:50 were told they were closed Ordering online is an absolute disaster. Weve been ordering jacks a few times a month. Most of the time, you need to try three or four times for the restaurant to accept your order. We order because they have cheap specials and the pizza is acceptable. Unfortunately, whether or not youll get what you ordered is hit or miss. A few times, weve shown up to be told they received our order, but the system lost the order, so we had to sit around an extra 15 mins to wait for our order to be made. Weve called in orders for 3 pizzas, only to get there and be told they only had 2 made but we could wait for the other to be made. Today, after trying to order online for ~15 minutes, we finally phoned in to get our order. Its very frustrating, and I rethink whether or not to take my business elsewhere every time we order.

They only had small or medium Donairs available at 6pm and they were made messier than usual. Still tasted great

This place. This place I tell ya. This place I tell ya has the best Donaires with the most meat and best sauce across Canada. I have lived in Alberta Saskatchewan Manitoba Ontario and pei. Not a single Donaire can hold up to this one. Not to mention there pizza is amazing and massive slices. 100 percent go here it is amazing!!!

We did a take out order for the four people in our family with each person getting a personalized 9 or 12 inch pizza with two topping per pizza. Order was ready within 20 minutes as promised. All pizzas were enjoyed. We would stop again when back in Charlottetown.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. -Not the best English went I called to make an order, over charged by 12$, and the pizza was cold when it arrived. I was offered a 10% discount on my next purchase for the troubles. Too many other pizza joints in PEI to bother wasting money at this place.

The 18 inch 2 topping pizza deal from Sunday to Thursday is fantastic! The food is great proportion for price and wonderful quality. Only thing that could be improved would be a way to pay online instead of having to bring my card in. Not a big thing I know, but it is a convenience I have grown used to with the pandemic.

This is some of the best pizza youll ever have and its like half what youd pay elsewhere.

Jacks really does have the best donairs in town. (well that I have found) Been going to jacks for a while now for donairs, they are always consistant and filling, the meat is spiced just right, and enough toppings and sauce. Always good and hot, wrapped lots of tinfoil to prevent a mess in your car. When I get a donair from somewhere, and Im good and hungry I usually order the largest one I see, and I eat what I can and the dog gets a taste. I must usually just get the large from jacks cause last night I messed up and got the super. It was delicious. It is worth while ordering this if your trying to feed a small family or just want a laugh at the sheer size of the thing. I was starved and I couldnt even get through half. I dont know what this thing weighed but I wish I would have had a scale. It was great for the money, I definitely recommending sharing for the super donair. I gladly give 5 stars for the donairs, the rest of the menu I would give 5 stars for pricing but you get what you pay for. If your on a budget I would say most bang for your buck in pizza around town.

Pretty good pizza, the one sour note is that they offer a two 12, 3 toppings pizza deal for 19.99, but wont allow you to make one of those a garlic fingers. This makes no sense, because a 12 garlic fingers on their menu is cheaper than a 2 topping 12 pizza. Not a whole lot of logic there, lol. Its a pity, because Greco will do that for you no problem. I guess Ill not be back any time soon.

Best donairs in Atlantic Canada in my opinion. Thick cut pieces, great donair sauce as well! Im comparing these to 2 of the best Donair spots in Halifax, and I prefer Jacks over them. Cant go wrong with a Jacks Donair, and their ready to eat Big Slices are great as well.

Awful pizza and fingers! Cheese was all stuck to the box. Bad flavour and so cheesy. Its all cheese and it falls apart. Just a big, gross mess. It stunk up my apartment and I threw it out.

Horrible. Ordered a chicken Caesar salad,popcorn chicken and garlic bread. I received raw chicken that was grey in color and a fry on my salad. Pop corn chicken had bugs in it and the garlic bread had moldy cheese and hair on.

I got home to find my donair burnt to the point of no salvaging it. Pita bread crumbles to bits when over cooked and can t soften meat like bacon in sauce. Shame on Jacks for not caring about quality!!!

Rising prices and decline in quality/service.. Place closes before midnight most nights when they could be making so much more $$$ beyond that time. If youre not downtown Charlottetown, dont even think of delivery or you pay the price of the meal to drive 10 mins. (Most places nowadays I know). They honestly have good food but place needs major upgrades if they want to be here 10 years from now.

I went to Jack s Pizza this evening to pick up a pizza that I had ordered while I was there the gentleman that waited on me I watched him touch several things and he was not wearing a mask when he served me.So I said to the gentleman should you not be wearing a mask and his reply was yes but I was just out having a smoke. While I was there I seen him touch pizza pans etc with no mask on. This place is going down hill

Very disappointed!! What happened to this place? It used to have the best donairs in the city. I ordered a medium donair and fries with the works. The donair was cold, pita was dried out and crumbled, I had to scrape away sauce to get to the meat. The fries with the works were mush, French fries were not crispy, gravy was watery. I wouldn t waste time or money here.

I placed my order online and waited 45 min to have my order delivered and it was only half of what I ordered so I sent it back! I ordered a donair nachos and popcorn chicken Poutine and when I called them to ask where my popcorn chicken poutine was they said they dont have popcorn chicken and I said well the they should of called me and he said he did but the number didn t work! And on my receipt it clearly showed my number and I had my phone on me the whole time! Idk what happened to this place but it s slowly getting worse and worse over the years! Do better jacks do better!

Absolutely fantastic! Ordered a Donair style pizza with donair meat, sauce and onions. Probably one of the top three pizza I ve ever had!! The best combination of sweet and savoury. Great value and quality! Definitely recommend!

Ordered delivery and was quoted 45 mins I had to call at the hour mark to be told it was on the way. After waiting another 15 mins the food arrived but the pop was missing and the food was cold.

A year ago I rated Jacks 5 stars. I believed wholly in that rating. Since the new ownership, much has changed. The menu looks the same and the deals are still there. The XL two top weekday special is still the best around. But the quality has changed drastically. Before it was good pizza for an amazing price. Now it is pizza for a good price. It is more of a decision whether to pay more for a high quality pizza elsewhere or less for decent quality pizza. I go for value here, not as much for quality. Unfortunate to see this happen but I hope it can be turned around

It really is sad given the current business climate that some places just go through the motions of being a business. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza expecting slices of back bacon and I added mushrooms. Got pieces of minced ham and micro-pieces of mushroom with some petroleum product passing as cheese. One would think that these small family pizzerias would try harder to be different from the ketchup and cardboard franchises. These guys offer no juices or ice tea, just sodas, water and chocolate milk? Chocolate milk with pizza? Really? If you really dont care what you eat and just want to fill your stomach, then OK, save your money and go find a real family pizza place.

I have never had a donair that was as good as this. The meat was so delicious and moist and the sauce was just right topped with tomatoes. I was so full when I got done this donair. I give it the highest rating ever. This place is amazing if you want the best donair ever.
