I ordered three dishes and two dim sums, beef with broccoli, stir-fried twice-cooked pork, and hand-shredded cabbage. The taste of the three boiled dishes was very authentic. I ordered chicken feet and quicksand egg yolk buns for dim sum. The taste of the chicken feet was not good, not bad at all. Yes the taste. Other dishes are very good. In addition, the food was not served quickly, and the wait was probably less than 20 minutes. There were not many people when we came, there were only two tables and two takeaways, so the food was not served very quickly. But the taste is more authentic, I will come again

We did a takeout. We came to pick up our food and the people there were nice. It was busy in the restaurant. The food was flavorful and decent portion sizes. Vegetarian options: We ordered all vegan for and it was quite good.

My partner, friend and I were staying nearby when we visited Charlottetown and were craving some dim sum. Who doesnt love dim sum? Even better when you can have it any time of the day! They had good prices, and a wide variety of items. The sesame balls were my favourite.

Super nice staff, amazing food!

The attitude was quite bad. I couldnt find the waiter when I tried to find it. It took me a long time to get a tissue The staff s attitude are very terrible. We wait for the tissue even that 10mins. And I couldn t find more staffs when I need help

Porridge meat are off with strong bad smell after brunch I diarrheaed. It is so terrible. I dont go back again.

I come to this restaurant countless times! However, lately the service is very very poor! Please hire extra staff and train the ones you have properly! I am very very dissatisfied and disappointed! The service is horrible!!! For example; our dinner came and our appetizers came 1/2 hour after the meal was done and we were ready to leave! For the past 3 times we have been here the service is getting worst and worst!

Went to this location at lunchtime ordered vegetables spring rolls, bubble tea, seafood rice chicken feet vegetables have no flavor. Food was not great for the price paid $97. Nothing good never come again horrible restaurant.

We came in and were told the wait would be 45 minutes which we agreed to. Unfortunately after about 75 minutes we had to ask for an update. It appeared they had completely forgotten our order as the only item to be served were the stir fried vegetables we ordered (the item that took the least amount of time to cook). A Chinese family of 14 or so people came in 30 minutes after us and received their food within 10-15 minutes. Perhaps they had ordered ahead of time but regardless it was still ridiculous. They even forgot one item from our order in which case we decided to forego and just pay our bill. I hate to leave a bad review on a small business but this was our experience, unfortunately.

We are from montreal and this is our 2nd visit to this place. the food was great and portions were plenty. Decent prices. Definitely worth the visit. Ordered combo no 2. General tao.

I ordered a takeout order of the pork soup dumplings which were SO amazing. Some of the best food ive ever had. So juicy, savoury and delicious. Not only was their soup dumplings beyond amazing, their staff is so friendly and nice! Everytime i visit PEI, i will be eating here!!

It wasn t a pleasant experience. The owners of the restaurant were arrogant and had no service attitude to their customers. As a tourist who first time came to Charlottetown, we wanted to try some Chinese restaurant who serve lobster and other seafood. That was why we came to DJ Wok but very soon we came to know that they did not offer any live seafood. As an alternative, they said they could cook for us if we shopped the live lobster and mussels. Without hesitation we purchased two lobsters and a bag of mussels and came back to DJ Wok with full of expectations. They charged $15/each for cooking the lobsters, and $15/pound for the mussels. We asked the owners that $37.5 for cooking the mussels seemed too expensive compared with the lobsters and if they can charge $15/bag for the mussels. Though we didn t expect the owners said yes but never thought their answer was do you want us to cook ? My friends suggested us to try some female lobster at this season as they have eggs. However the lobsters cooked and served without any eggs. We asked the lady owner where were the eggs as we purposely bought two female lobsters. Her answer made us so surprised! I learnt western style of cooking and we never cook lobster with eggs the eggs made the whole kitchen fishy . For my understanding, other Chinese restaurants did cook lobster with eggs and it s so delicious. Is DJ Wok not a Chinese restaurant? When I asked the owners why they didn t tell me at the first place, she said you did not tell me you wanted to cook the lobsters with eggs I will never come to this restaurant again and will tell my friends not to do so too. No service no honesty but too arrogant! development follow up In the evening, the owners of the restaurant replied my comments. I noticed that I couldn t respond to their reply and other Goggles cannot view my rating and messages that I posted earlier today. Was it removed? Apparently, the owners of the restaurant were lying and played tricks. First of all, we never said I didn t want to pay the taxes but just was just curious to ask since there were tax1 and tax2 on the invoice. Please do not divert the poor customer service to something else. Secondly, we never were given a choice to cook the lobsters with eggs, regardless for a fee or not. They were lying! This reflects again what we felt - honesty. Thirdly, we admit that they did told us processing fee was $15/pound before we went to buy the lobsters and mussels. When the restaurant weighted 2.5 pounds, we figured that it s too expensive. But since we agreed at the first place, we didn t say much but paid for it. However, it doesn t mean you did not charge too much, especially when I told you that other Chinese restaurant that we visited charged $15/bag only. Above are the truth and our experience shared.

I passed by this Chinese restaurant by chance today and I was lucky enough to eat new dishes. The taste was quite delicious and the waiter was very cute.

The service was very poor, the food was served very slowly, and the food was mediocre (I waited for an hour for the food to be served)

It was recommended as the best Chinese food in town by a friend, and we did enjoy it during a visit a couple of years ago. However, after a change of ownership, the food is not as tasty as it used to be. We visited again on a Sunday morning, and it was a bit busy (although not all tables are seated). Only one server was in front of the house (there used to be 2 or 3). She was overwhelmed by the number of customers and was rude to my friend during checkout. I dont know if the owner is aware but it is a problem.

I went there once before and the food was pretty good, but the point is that their service was really bad. There wasnt even a waiter when we entered the store. We waited for five or six minutes before someone came. If thats the only way I wouldnt give them a low score, mainly because they served the food very slowly, making us wait for more than an hour, even though there were no customers in the store, it was so slow! Too bad, please improve.

I am a frequent visitor to this one, and I also recommend this to my foreigner friends. Strongly recommend this Peking duck and old Beijing fried noodles, do quite good.In this performance, the level of the duck master is very good.There are a lot of duck rack soups.Mao Xuewang is really good.And a special point is that because of some reasons, some of the dishes originally contained in it I cant eat.The store also gave me suggestions and changes according to my requirements,The effect is very good,The taste is great,Praise from me and my friends!There is also a recommendation of this condensed milk small steamed bun,This snack is very familiar to me,From the snack to the present. In short, everyone is welcome to go and taste the delicacies, it is definitely worth visiting!

Absolutely the restaurant you would not want miss! Try the authentic Chinese food here and super tasty bubble tea! The Number 3 bubble tea is the best bubble tea I ever had! Especially the menu here are all come with picture of the food, it is convenient, you will have an idea what gonna present to you after ordered!

The dining environment is very comfortable, the boss is very nice, and the stir-fries and snacks are all authentic. I ordered three dishes and took them away before I finished them. The portions are generous.

Been there a few times now, and the food has been spot on each time. I especially like their beef/fish in chili broth dishes. Best bubble tea in the province and the only place to get dim sum, which was also fantastic. The service was also warm and welcoming when Ive been there.

I ordered a Diced chicken with spicy chili peppers, it taste so good, and I ate for two meals since the size of the food is much more than my expectations.

Great reviews didn t turn out to a great experience. Staff were friendly but not attentive. Once the food was served the waitress disappeared to eat her supper. The food: spring rolls were excellent, rice was pasty and served too early, chicken feet had virtually no meat just skin and bones. I will try something else if I go back.

Really love the beef hotpot here. I think you should try it if possible. However the dipping sauce is not go along well with the hotpot but the hotpot itself already well seasoning so no need of extra dipping sauce. The Brown Sugar boba here is way better than Chatime. I really enjoy it. I ordered 4 dishes here and I have to say that they are all perfect. Really love it. Ill definitely will come here and try more dishes.

Wow! This place is awesome. If youre looking for a DimSum with variety, or authentic Chinese cuisine, this is must-try. The selection is wonderful everything prepared perfectly... including my favourite soup dumplings ( ). The staff are also very kind. An overall great dinning experience.

Chinese people don t lie to Chinese people. The milk tea in the restaurant is delicious, and the words are nice. I want to come here again. This is a complex Chinese restaurant. The store offers milk tea, Cantonese-style morning tea and stir-fry dishes. The stir-fry dishes are sufficient.

The food is tasty if not too oily. We asked for rice but their rice cooker broken so they had to cook our rice with a dim sum steamer which would take a lot more effort. Appreciate the food and the rice!

Were from the Bahamas and have been looking for good Chinese food for 3 years. This is the spot. We had the sweet & sour chicken (no balls) and Singapore noodles. Everything was absolutely delicious. I rarely review anything but this made it necessary. Enjoy!!

This Chinese food really tastes great, exceeding expectations in every aspect. The dishes are very tasty and abundant. I recommend the boiled beef, the braised beef brisket, and the stir-fried Shanghai sprouts (garlic greens). I highly recommend the green pepper beef fried rice. We drove to Prince Edward Island for a self-drive trip. The boss enthusiastically recommended local aquatic products shops, cake shops and sea-going guides.

We moved to PEI from Vancouver where we were accustomed to top quality Chinese food and really missed it. The food at DJ Wok was much better that we expected. In fact, this was one of the best dim sum experiences we ve ever had. It was just excellent, authentic Cantonese food with a lot of flavour. The place was clean and the service extra friendly. A little on the expensive side, but totally worth it. Will be back many times for sure.

The services is so bad. We have to wait for nearly 01 hour to have food and finally they were added more 15% in total bill for service charge with the explanation that no need to pay for the TIP hahaha. How ridiculous . We will never return.
