Had a lovely night out tonight with my partner. The food was delicious. When we return to PEI, we will definitely come back. It is not inexpensive, but we left happy.

My wife and I had lunch here. The lunch menu is more limited than the dinner menu, but we had a wonderful time. The chowder was exceptional and I would highly recommend it. The atmosphere is great, and we ended up enjoying a great lunch with two other couples seated close to us that were also exploring the area.

We sat at the bar, great service. Steak was really good, perfectly made. Oysters were fresh.

This was such an incredible dining experience! The chef is beyond talented and every dish we got felt like it was hand crafted just for our palate! 20/10 would recommend this place! It is small and intimate so I would suggest a reservation,it was the highlight of our dining experience in PEI, they also have an upstairs bar with live music! It ended at 10 on the night we went so we just missed it but if you have an early reso and love live music it s the perfect combo for a date night!

Dynamite place in the heart of town. The food is very rich and cozy very much like the atmosphere. We had oysters Rockefeller, lobster risotto, kale Caesar with scallops, halibut with colcannon potatoes, and the sticky pudding. Incredibly decadent and delicious all around.

Great place for quality food, a cozy atmosphere, and drinks. The chowder and mussels were amazing! A definite on anyones list of places to eat.

Bartender Cade (we sat at the bar) was super friendly. My wife loved the oysters, I had a local beer. If we return to Charlottetown, we will absolutely return!

Just to correct, the bartenders name was Kade, not Cade. He was just as wonderful, just spelled differently.

Went here during our honeymoon. So calm and quiet, classy decor and lighting. Our server Andrew made incredible recommendations (halibut, surf and turf) and took excellent care of us. One of the best meals we ve ever had! Well worth the price.

Although the restaurant has a bar and few table seats, it had a very nice atmosphere. Actually, I think you should come to this restaurant for the oysters, but since it was a restaurant that sells lobster rolls, which I hadnt eaten before that day, I had the lobster roll. The lobster was dressed with a sauce that went well with it and was even more delicious than I expected. (July 2024)

The Claddagh Oyster House has it all: intimate upscale ambiance, great staff and The.Best.Oysters.Ever. While on a bus tour in the Canadian Maritimes, we had a free evening in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Stopped in the COH for a glass of wine and to share an order of Oysters Rockefeller. The OR are the best we have ever had - large, perfectly topped, and flavorful. So good, in fact, that we ordered seconds. We then tried a sampler (2 each of 3 varieties) and they were amazing - plump, flavorful and briny. Our server, Bridgitte, was friendly, attentive and informative and her recommendations ensured that we had an absolutely perfect visit.

We had an 8pm reservation. We showed up 10 min early but our table wasnt ready. They sent us upstairs for drinks and told us they would fetch us when our table was ready. We waited until 830pm, finished our drinks, never heard from them. We left. <insert Seinfeld meme about holding reservations> This was super disappointing as my wife really wanted to eat here and we were celebrating the completion of her studies. The least they could have done was walk upstairs after 15 min, apologize, give us an update, or try to make it right. 30 minutes past our reservation is not acceptable. As far as I am concerned they owe us $30 for the drinks we had upstairs waiting for their broken promises.

This place was pretty disappointing! There is no cocktail menu but we were told most classic cocktails are available from the bar.. not really tho! Sour mix whiskey sours? No thank you! (If youve only had whiskey sours made this way you should really ignore this review!) Ok, my bad! Have the wine instead... but the wine menu is very limited and doesnt offer much beyond common liquor store stock. At least the water was refreshing! For an oyster place I have certain expectations... minimal broken bits of shell and the oyster itself nicely detached from the shell. 1 out of 2... 50%? Thats hardly passing... Unfortunately more than one oyster needed extra help detaching from their shell. Then I tried the lobster risotto; and while I cant complain about the lobster, I have notes about the risotto! It arrived undercooked and Im deeply Not into risotto al dente! It should be fully cooked and creamy! No crunchy rice! The ambiance was lovely in this restaurant. The chairs were comfortable, the music choice and volume was light and not intrusive. Unfortunately the food fell far below the standards this place exudes. Few places have left me feeling so disappointed. The gap between whats promised and whats delivered falls unfortunately in that sad vs reality meme.

Great service. Chowder was best. Fish cakes were bad. Lobster roll was served with generic fries and ketchup. Nothing special.

My partner and I went to Claddagh for the first time since they renovated and loved it. We sat at the bar and the service was amazing. I ordered the striploin and it was the best steak I have gotten on the island. My partner got the Surf and Turf. The pork belly and scallops were both excellent. One of the best dining experiences we have had in Charlottetown.

Everything from the food, atmosphere, and service were amazing!! Coming from New York, my expectations are generally high, and this place exceeded them in every way! I had the crab legs and lobster roll, both of which were excellent. And the service, hands down, was one of the best Ive ever received at a restaurant. Ill come back here for sure next time I visit PEI.

One of the best fine dining restaurant experiences I ve ever had. The star was the food - world class from their oysters (raw and Rockefeller), the salmon dishes and grilled halibut (changed my perspective on halibut - it was so layered with flavour from the grill), and the desserts and coffee drinks. The atmosphere and service were also wonderful. I am so happy to have experienced this place.

Wow! Most amazing dinner we have ever had !

On our Last night in PEI my wife and I decided to go out for a lovely lobster dinner. We brought out 2 year old with us. This place was great. It took a bit of time to get our food but the service staff were lovely! The food was top tier and very fresh. Definetly recommend this resteraunt Kid-friendliness: Very comforting to our 2 year old. He had the pasta off of the childrens menu and loved it.

The food was great and our server Andrew was fantastic at helping us choose a wine and on timing. I would recommend Claddagh Oyster House to anyone who wants to enjoy some great food and ambience!

Had an amazing culinary experience, the best i ve had in a long while! We ordered the surf and turf and the ribeye steak, and they were both so delicious and top notch. The date pudding was so good too. Not to miss!

I didn t get the experience I was expecting from this restaurant. I ll take partial responsibility here, as my partner and I chose 4 items off the menu to order. One was a charcuterie/seafood board and when we told the server the dishes we were ordering she mentioned that the board was large and that we should just start with that and see how we felt and then rushed off. At that point, I wish I stopped her because I would have rather try actual dishes at this restaurant, rather than deli meats. The board was definitely for four or more people, and although there were ten oysters the other fare was mediocre. There was mortadella on the board Service was also lacklustre, at one point we sat for 10 minutes with empty drinks while two staff milled about at the bar something I would never dream of allowing in my 10 years in hospitality. At the end, I got up and asked someone for our bill because our server dropped off dessert menus and never returned.

This restaurant is extraordinary. The best clam chowder I have ever tasted. The oysters are a real delight. Everything is exceptional, the flavors, the perfumes, the textures. Everything is perfect. And dessert, date pudding, spectacular! And what about the service! If you are in Charlottetown this is definitely the restaurant.

One of the best meals in a long time! Lobster Risotto and the market fish which was Halibut with 2 scallops and fingerling potatoes. Outstanding! The waiter, Brian was very attentive and friendly. Could not have asked for a better experience. Then dessert! Holy cow the date sticky pudding was out of this world. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Not only was Bryan the best server I ve had in a long time, but the bartender Josh was a star as well. After I ask Bryan who the chef was he responds with oh it s the sous chefs working tonight. Which meant the food is that good without the chef. I m talking 10/10 here. SPECTACULAR all around.

Best restaurant weve tried in Canada. Sticky Date Pudding is absolutely exquisite. I had the grilled halibut...excellent. Cocktails are high end craft cocktails, and the wine list is exceptional.

Great service, food was good. I ordered the halibut which was cooked great. Potatoes were salted unevenly and my friends baked potatoes were undercooked. Drinks were great especially the amaretto sour made with de serona.

Go for amazing oysters

The food is incredible and the vibe cozy and quaint. But the bar and servers are trash. We have two different servers bring us our orders and neither could speak to the specifics of the wines on their list. We kept drinking so at one point, when our drinks had been empty much too long, I went up to the bar to order a cocktail and asked for a whisky sour. The bartender replied, so whisky and lime?! I was confused. He repeated himself with confidence. Ignorance or ego? It was super unclear. I explained what a sour was but ended up ordering a glass of wine, even though he also couldn t answer basic questions about it. He s their full time bartender so I won t be rushing back.

The king crab is OK, the sirloin steak is fried well, and there are six flavors of oysters.

Oysters were amazing!

Great little place, cozy with an energetic server who made us feel at home. I had the only burger on the menu. It had a bacon jam and whipped gouda and it was amazing. Id go back in a heartbeat. 3/15 update: its still amazing food. Had some of the chicken and the new dilly burger and it was awesome.

I had the lobster risotto and it was simply amazing and my favourite dish after a week in PEI! The server was quick to provide great recommendations and he helped me go through gluten free options that were friendly for celiacs. Place is cozy with few spots so reservations are recommended. We walked in, but were accommodated at the table bar and it didnt feel cramped or uncomfortable.

Ok, admittedly I am from Ontario, but the Oysters an Mussels here were truely amazing. Not to mention the Haddock and the Sticky Date Pudding.

Charlottetowns best restaurant did not disappoint. The seafood cakes and pasta were delicious! Be sure to reserve a couple of days ahead, its a small room.

Really good oysters

My husband is in a wheelchair and they neglected to include that the only entrance is up a flight of stairs. Its 2023 and you have no accessibility? So just screw anyone whos in a wheelchair? I understand that its a heritage building but Ive been to castles in Spain that made an effort to include ramps and an elevator. You should be ashamed.

An absolute must try if youre in Charlottetown. Seafood is delicious.

Excellent meal tonight. We started with some oysters and the shrimp tempura. Oysters were so delicious and the shrimp tempura had just the right spice. We both went with the special for the night which was a grilled halibut with a jerk spice sauce. Unreal meal!! Highly recommend.

I was very excited to eat here as I read that it was one of (if not the best) seafood restaurants in Halifax. It was underwhelming. I ordered the oysters Rockefeller, which was probably my own fault for ordering. It was just cheese on a shell. The halibut special was good, although the strawberry purée they served it with clashed a little. The potatoes were only okay. I enjoyed the mussels that my friend got, some of the best I ve had! All in all, it is a good restaurant, the service is alright, and the food is pretty good. I would say it s not worth the price though. I was tempted to give 4 stars, but at these price points, it s a 3.

The food was delicious and the waiter was so charming, he could have sold us ice cubes in the middle of winter. My wife and I had a great date. She forgot her lactaids but the waiter was able to arrange a dairy free dessert. I will definitely stop by again when we come back to PEI.

My family and I came in with no reservation and was greeted and seated with pleasure. The food was beyond amazing and their chef knows how to cook amazing food and Michelin star quality. The service was exceptional. We will definitely be back.

I thoroughly enjoyed some of the finest seafood in the Maritime region. The Surf and Turf was a standout, with the pork belly bursting with rich flavors that simply melted in my mouth. The oysters and mussels were equally delightful, boasting exceptional freshness and an array of excellent flavors.

I recently visited for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the lobster roll with a gluten free bun. I upgrade my side to the creamy baby red potatoes and I d highlight recommend! Andrew was our server and he was the best. Kind, courteous, knowledgeable, professional, funny he made our night!!! Next-the food was delicious. We had a few different dishes. Our fav was the scallops as part of the daily special. They were cooked to perfect and lightly seasoned! We both had their seafood chowder-which has no fillers and tastes soooo good. The seasoning and flavours were to die for. We ordered fresh oysters as well as the Rockerfeller. Both had flavour &garnished perfectly. We had dessert as well-so much more authentic than I was expecting!!! This place is amazing and should not be missed!!!

Seafood was delicious but we found it was quite dark in the upstairs room. We were glad we made reservations as we noticed several people without them were turned away.

One of our best meals on PEI. I had fish chowder with seafood pasta. Both were wonderful. Nice selection of wines too, not super large but I liked the Chardonnay the waiter suggested even though Im not usually a Chardonnay fan.

Tried this place during our stay in Charlottetown. I must say I was surprised on how good the food was. The chowder with just right with lots of chunks of seafood. The halibut was done just right. And the surf and turf of pork belly and scallops was great... pork bellys skin was nice and crispy and the scallops were cooked to perfection. The Irish mash side was very tasty as well. Kudos to the chef for the care that went into the food.

My family and I came here on a Thursday night for dinner. As you can see, the food was soooooo good that we did not even have a chance to take photos of it. If you have only a few days in Charlottetown, this restaurant MUST BE on your list. I highly highly recommend the oysters, seafood pasta and starters. Also, the waiting time for the food at Claddagh is really good. And there is no compromise on the quality. So if you have hungry kids, youll be thanking the chefs for their prompt service. We had dinner here the first night in Charlottetown and it was hard for every other restaurant in the area to meet their level of food, service and ambiance. Their pasta was amazing, the seafood was so fresh it tasted like the sea. And the service was just not great but helpful, especially when catering to two 4-year olds. Just a great place. Will have to go there again, but will save it for our last night there.

Proper Guinness. Really delicious food. We had oysters (of course), crispy crab cake, lobster arancini, the market daily feature (haddock and scallops, which was excellent), and a salad. Wow! Best meal weve had since I dont remember when! Halibut with Irish mash. It was unbelievably fantastic. Hubby had tenderloin with new potatoes in cream sauce. So good!! I like the quiet atmosphere here too. Small enough to feel taken care of. Only 2 servers and they worked hard! Visiting PEI but will definitely be our first stop when we return. You must eat here!!

The wife and I shared the Surf and Turf, one of the best meals weve ever had, absolutely delicious. The pork belly was covered with apple chutney, the spaghetti squash was made with maple, chili peppers and salt & pepper, the mashed potatoes included chopped onions and carrots and kale and the scallops were seared to perfection. Highly recommend!

We came here on a recommendation. It was a top notch spot. The plate price is very high, but it is warranted. Bridgette was our waitress, she is possibly the greatest of all time. Complimentary oysters for a first timer. They let us in early so we could get out faster to catch a ferry. If fine dining is your style, this is it.

Excellent seafood and desserts!

Dropped in last night as the place had looked nice after watching the rugby upstairs that anfternoon and it didn t disappoint. I had the striploin with a cream sauce, and the cook / seasoning could not have been any better. They were great with my annoying dietary restrictions and were more than happy to up the sides of spaghetti squash and brussels - perfect for the fall! The bartender was just an awesome guy, great service, and it was just an all around great experience. I m definitely looking forward to going back and trying out a few more dishes. Not often I ll rave about a steak dish but hey, it was that good! Dietary restrictions: They were more than happy to accommodate with great suggestions.

A spectacular meal of fresh oysters, oysters Rockefeller, chowder and fresh lobster. The service from Brian was helpful, professional and a compliment to our evening. The champagne/white vinegar for the oysters was especially note worthy. Thanks for a memorable dining experience.

Great place to eat. Allows for kids but a bit dark and I wouldn t say is the best place for kids even though they have a decent kids menu. Lobster balls and crab legs were great. Oysters and mussels were super fresh and highly recommended. Had the surf and turf and scallops were great. The pork belly was very dry and I couldn t eat one of them because it was like jerky. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly but a quiet atmosphere so had to endure kids used inside voices.

If you looking for a little night out in charlottetown, check out this place! Nestled down a side street in charlottetown, youll find this gem. They food and service will not disappoint.

Service was wonderful, quick, friendly, and wonderful suggestions for selections. All the meals including substitutions and allergy issues were handled and accommodated easily. Meals were delicious, and wonderful presentation. We had the seafood pasta, beef tenderloin, and daily special of halibut, scallops, with lobster beurre blanc. Everything was phenomenal! Ive never tasted such flavorful scallops, and the halibut was cooked exquisitely. We finished off dinner with sticky date pudding with whiskey toffee sauce and creme anglaise topped with vanilla ice cream. Not only was it a beautiful presentation, but it was a a perfect blend of flavors, and not so sweet that you couldnt enjoy it. I cant remember when Ive ever had a meal this tasty, flavorful, and in a place with such a wonderful ambiance. Dietary restrictions: Accommodated easily

A truly outstanding experience. The food was incredible and the service outstanding. Worthy of special note is the Jerk crab appetizer. My partner and I were skeptical at first about pairing the powerful Jerk flavours with the subtle sweetness of crab - but the kitchen team pulled it off brilliantly - an extremely well balanced and executed dish! Remarkably good!

Great meal and great service.

The bar staff are incredible. The best shucked oyster I have ever eaten where the foot is cut cleanly but they oyster looks undisturbed. I had the mussels & my girlfriend had the picked beetroot and honeycomb salad. Whilst we would not recommend the beetroot salad the mussels were fantastic. The best part of the meal by a country mile was the date pudding which was so good we skipped dessert at another restaurant the next day to come back to eat it again!

Everything was good, the service, the lobster, the sides. Even the vegetables and potatoes on the side were soooo good.

I enjoyed the overall experience but I would choose Sims over Claddagh if you have the choice. I found the food and service a touch below what I experienced at Sims (I ate there the day before). Service wasnt particularly warm, the ambience a bit dated, and while the food was delicious it was a notch below what I was expecting.

Fantastic meal and dining experience. Book a reservation to avoid disappointment. Saw people turned away who didnt have a reservation for a Friday evening & when people showed up after 9pm and the kitchen was closed (host called other restaurants to see if they were open and had space to help out). Established by Liam and Kim Dolan in 1983, the Claddagh Room was named for a fishing village in Galway City in Ireland. Offering fine dining of the style that was popular at the time, the Claddagh Room and the Olde Dublin Pub upstairs (est. 1985) were instrumental in turning Sydney Street from a relatively untravelled side street to a key Charlottetown food destination. Renamed Claddagh Oyster House in 2006, the reinvigorated restaurant now focuses on fresh, local ingredients and casual fine dining, featuring world renown Island oysters and Certified PEI Beef. The results of our partnerships with Prince Edward Island farmers and fishers is evident in every bite.

Excellent meal, however the service was ordinary for this type of restaurant. The waitress even turned her back on me after I paid and left without thanking or greeting.

We enjoyed our dining experience immensely. Our plates were decadent and we found our welcoming waiter Brian to be an excellent source of information from wine pairing to local delights. We can t thank you enough - it was a truly memorable evening!

We had the maple-mustard glazed salmon and the brick pressed chicken and both were delicious!! Would highly recommend. Other reviews here said the service was poorer than other places but we found the service to be fast and friendly. We thought there would a patio but indoor was nice too with good ambiance and AC.

Had a Friday dinner at this restaurant. Reservations are a must is you intend to have an early dinner. Had oysters as a starter and though there were several choice these were not the tastiest oysters I have ever had. As main I had the beef short ribs and it was quite tasty and a very generous option. Wine options were a bit limited and on the providers side

This was a thoroughly positive dining experience. I started with the seafood chowder. It was one of the best I ve ever had. NO potato or vegetables at all, just seafood in a delicious broth. My main was seafood risotto which was so delicious. My wife had the short rib which was also delicious. We had five in our party and all agreed this was one of the best meals we had had in years. The service was exceptional as well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

In the past we enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. This time it seemed like a busy restaurant. The food was excellent but the ambiance left us disappointed. We were celebrating our Anniversary and it was so noisy. This used to be our favourite restaurant to dine when in Charlottetown but not this time

I can t say enough good things. One of the BEST meals we ve ever had and without a doubt the highlight so far of our East Coast foodie adventure. To start, we enjoyed the Rockerfeller - it was incredible, followed by the 6oz Tenderloin (Certified Island Beef Aged 45 Days In House) topped with Bronzed Scallops and the Jerk Spiced Crab Legs with a Kale Caesar Salad. Every aspect of every dish was simply amazing and so delicious. Great service and ambiance. We will have to come back. Make a reservation we saw people getting turned away without one. Include this if you re going to PEI.

We reserved our first dinner in PEI at Claddagh about a week before getting there! We started with a dozen fresh oysters (3 different types out of an impressive selection) which our waiter was really knowledgeable about and was able to make reccomendations. We ate them so quickly we forgot to snap a pic. Then we got the seafood pasta, and the striploin plate with PEI potatoes. The plating was stunning and the food was delicious. We finished our plates completely. The restaurant is small on a popular street so you may want to book in advance. The ambience inside was stunning, and we were within a comfortable walking distance to our hotel.

We had an amazing experience back in July! It was my daughter 19th birthday and the waiter was the absolute best. He made a drink especially for her and convinved her to have cake (which was amazing). Everything was delicious and well worth the price. This is a great restaurant, youll pay for a great meal. Yes its expensive but this nowhere near something you can do yourself at home and its well worth it. Dont listen to the Karens out there ;).

Cute spot shared with Dublin bar smaller intimate area, nice steakhouse and seafood offerings. Wide array of oysters. Some good wine too.

Quite literally the best food, wine, and service Ive had on the island so far. They have the largest variety of oysters Ive seen offered on one menu. They are so tasty and are shucked in front of you at the bar. We had the crab legs, lobster risotto, and surf n turf. I cant even begin to describe the perfection that is the freshness, perfect balance of flavours and seasonings, and presentation of these dishes. Left nothing to be desired. I get the feeling that every dish on the menu delivers the same. That being said, dont skip dessert! The sticky date pudding was so rich, just perfectly sweet, and moist with an unbelievable crunch on the crust. If I could rebook my trip and just eat a different dish here every night I would. Kid-friendliness: Not kid-friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

We walked in and asked if they had room. Although there was clearly space at the bar, the person we spoke to very condescendingly told us to check upstairs as thought it was below her. Would never go to again.

Maybe it was a bad night, maybe our waitress/hostess had a bad night, but we heard such good things about this place and we were totally disappointed. We made our reservation for our last night on PEI as a celebration to end our visit. Our waitress was curt at best. We ate a lot of seafood on our trip so I ordered the 10 oz striploin steak which was 45 days aged. There was a large amount of fat and grizzle. Very disappointing. When our waitress came over to take my plate she asked if I was finished. I said I was and that was the fat that was on the steak. Her comment to me was well that s why it was a 10oz steak. Picked up the plate and left. We were going to have dessert but after that we decided to pay our bill and get dessert elsewhere. We spent over $230. I would ve expected much more.

Absolutely the best meal we had while visiting the East Coast. The Pork Belly was delicious and combined with the scallops divine! Outstanding service made this a memorable dining experience! Oh and that sticky date pudding!!!

I wish I could give this place 6 stars. What a fantastic meal!!!

Oysters are okay, lobster risotto is fair price and good. Cocktails no no but consider the price and it s not their expertise, so can be okay. The major problem is their mains. Problem is very very sweet; the choice of sauce literally ruin the ingredients, I do think it s very inappropriate. And the price overall, is $100 per person, in my opinion, you can definitely find a better place. I rarely put such a negative comment on a restaurant, but let s say, I will not choose this restaurant one more time, it isn t worth it.

The food is very salty, and not worth the price. The service is okay but very SLOW! Do not recommend.

This was our second visit a few years later as we are visiting again and there are no words to describe how incredible the food and service is. Anne was our server tonight and she was so lovely. Super helpful, funny and attentive. The kale caesar salad is unique and surprisingly excellent and my husband started with the oyster Rockefeller and he loved them. The lobster risotto is to die for and my husband had the pork belly surf and turf and it was amazing. Highly recommended for a special occasion or for a nice evening out.

A seafood symphony, an absolutely incredible experience. Our server Nick, a competitive shucker, was charming and funny while schooling us on oysters. Every dish was the best ever from the chowder to the steak to the mussels and lobster risotto. Each dish carefully crafted to bring out the flavours of the seafood while being a delight to the senses.

Absolutely incredible dinner. Good drinks, delicious mains, and I cant say enough good things about the atmosphere for a cozy date night. Highly recommended.

Road trip from Montreal to PE and stopped at this amazing place to eat. Great service from Ann, tasty and rich food. I had the lobster risotto. I recommend 100%.

Pricy but food is amazing and server is polite and friendly. Raw oyster and mussels are full of flavor while baked oyster is covered by strong cheese. Desserts are really tasty.

We called ahead and no reservations available - no problem. Can we eat at the bar? Absolutely! How many seats at the bar? 2. Okay. We arrived at 6:15 - 2 seats available at the bar. Great! No, you cant eat at the bar due to Covid restrictions. I explained that we called (and we ate at the bar at the restaurant next door the night before with every seat full) to make sure we could eat at the bar. We were told no. Wont be back ever!

Unfortunately can t speak to the quality of the food as our reservation was lost. According to the gentleman at bar, he only takes reservations after 4 as that s what time he gets in. Suggest that if you make a reservation ask for a confirmation number!

Good food and friendly service

Super friendly staff and good food. Had oysters, lobster and the chowder. All fresh and tasty. Definitely recommending over some of the fancier and pricier restaurants around.

Food was incredible. Service was absolutely awful. We left an hour after arriving, after the starters as we still hadnt ordered the mains. We had empty plates and empty glasses for nearly 15 minutes before asking for the machine.

Waiter was polite and professional. Lots of quality dinner options. Chowder was fantastic. Great atmosphere.
