Service is always very fast when I visit. I love to eat here and indulge on a little too much sushi. Noodle choices are great too!.

This is very not good. Awfull food!! We had a ramen, they served us an instant ramen that you can buy at the grocery store for $2! The kimchi was disgusting, the sushi too. Too expensive for what it is! Dont go there! Dont go to this place

A lot of dishes to try out. Offers Japanese and Korean food items. Good atmosphere. Might be difficult to find parking spots in busy timings. Staff could be friendlier. No complaints though.

Sushi for a good price!

Service was friendly and prompt. Food was fresh and delicious. Restaurant was clean and comfortable, but nothing special or stand-out about it.

I won t be speaking on the food, but the customer service for the delivery was terrible. I ordered my food and was told it would come in 20 minutes. 40 minutes went by and I called back about my order, they initially didn t know I had placed a delivery order and was then told they got busy after my order was placed once they located my order. Although I understand this is a legitimate issue it is frustrating I wasn t called to be made aware it would be taking longer. When I asked they said it would be another 20 minutes and offered me no real apology and seemed okay with making me wait, as if it wasn t their problem.

My friends and I often go hear for dinner, and each time is better than the last. The food is delicious and beautiful, and the service is AMAZING. The staff was so kind when we celebrated our friends birthdays, giving us the best of service and food. A very friendly establishment for plenty of people.

I chose Mr.Sushi by reviews amongst 5 restaurants. Huge selection and several size take-out meals available. Not a connoisseur of sushi but not my first time trying it at other location. I went with Mr.Bento sushi platter and it was great , quality and freshness was nice to get. Portions were average for sushi and can opt for dinning in. Great location and easy to find . Downtown Charlottetown so not much for parking. Recommended by a local resident.

Very comparable to grocery store sushi. My spicy salmon roll didn t have any salmon. Miso soup had no flavour. Portion size was small for the price. Tasted like it was pre-made well ahead of time. Made a special trip into town for a nice take out sushi experience, and I was disappointed. I will not be returning.

The shrimp tempera sushi is delicious! The combo sushi special is a bargain. The staff is very polite and friendly. Vegetarian options: My friend is vegetarian and its nice to be able to go some place that accommodate what she can eat.

I m obsessed with the food here. It is so delicioussssss especially the seafood yaki udon and pork kimchi stew^^ i swear i eat two of these for months. Btw the roll is so good and fresh tho. Really enjoy this restaurant ^^

Really nice service, and it is really great that there is a bell on the wall that is easy for customers to call orders and need help. The sushi and sasimi are so fresh and no fishy at all. And cozy place. Love it

The best authentic sushi in the town

Ordered delivery from here, and all I can say is DELICIOUS!! Was definitely worth the money and can honestly say this has been one of my favorite meals since being on vacation in PEI!!

I dont usually post reviews but I felt compelled for this one. Ive eaten a lot of ramen in my day and theirs is the worst Ive ever had. They advertise three or four different ramens, I ordered the Tempura ramen. They served instant noodles, with broth made of instant noodle powder, with some tempura served on the side. They literally took two Spicy flavoured instant noodle packages, put tempura on top and served it. No home made broth, no home made noodles, they just Spicy flavored instant noodles served with tempura. It was awful. They should be ashamed for calling that Ramen.

Disappointed with my most recent order. Sushi was tiny in comparison to other restaurants in the surrounding area for the same price, if not more. Also some of the edamame was discolored and spoiled in the same container as the rest of the fresh food. Wish I noticed that before eating the sushi and getting sick. I wont be back and I dont recommend this place.

Great sushi, great options, and very quick! I ordered over skip the dishes one of their meals. I got a vegetable sushi roll, tempura shrimp roll, edamame, tempura yam, gyoza, and spring roll. The meal was good, the sushi was good, and I appreciated the options that they had available!

Nice place. The service is super efficient. My food came within 5 minutes of ordering it and within 10 minutes of walking in... Albeit my order wasnt super complicated- all veg items, but still I was impressed. I started with miso soup. I was unsure what the circular floating bits were. The consistency was someone like a water soaked wafer. I asked what it was (just incase) and its dried tofu. New for me but I dig it! I got the Takagi as well, two prices. Pretty standard and not as sweet as some. I dont want it super sugary anyhow and enjoy the egg flavour. Some places go overboard board with the sweetener. Finally, I got the yam avacado dragon roll. Its good, filling. The end peices are two-biters which Id rather avoid as it makes for awkward eating. I stuck to drinking water and it was topped up as I went which I always appreciate. So- all in all pretty decent sushi. Pretty mid level quality. I would rate it 5 stars, only I find the prices high for what it is. My bill was $24, have had very comparable meals for $15. I dont blame them- there isnt a lot of competition. If there was, you wouldnt see a $12 California roll.

We ordered food here last night and the food was good but my girlfriend had the sushi and it gave her food poisoning, needless to say we wont be eating here again for awhile

Service was very slow.... teriyaki salmon was stone cold, and tempura was undercooked. Food is usually very good.

The sushi was delicious, however i diddnt have very good service at all. 2 of us got our food at the beggining, and the after an hour we got one other persons food, after another half hour we got another. And the last person at my table never even got her food. When we tried to ask where our food was, the waitress just walked away. It got to the point where after another 2 HOURS of waiting, we had to go to the front desk and ask for a discount, which they refused to do.

This place is absolutely horrible, It was 8:40pm and I came in to ask whether or not my family could dine-in and the lady ( waitress or boss) told me that we can with such a very rude attitude, I dont know why they treated me like that or it could be because tonight is a rainy day I looked soaking wet with a slipper on which doesnt look so high class thats probably why they dont want serve me equal as others. I normally do not write review on any restaurant and I couldve let it slide but this restaurants customer service is bad that makes me mad. They came over my table 3 times with intentions to ask us to leave because theyre going to close soon, why are they allowed us to dine-in at 8:40 pm and expect us to leave at 9:20? They couldve politely decline us for dine in the beginning instead try to sell their food and kick us asap??? Not just only that the way they put food on our table is seems like we begging them. Please do not come if you dont to ruin your dinner or date.

Hours say they are open until 10. They refuse to take any dine-in after 9pm and will not take ANY ORDERS after 9:20. Very rude about it as well. Also the sushi was horrible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I came after seeing a review that said they had mussel jjamppong. I am very disappointed to hear that I am not doing it now. The spicy ramen menu is instant Shin Ramyun, boiled with a lot of water. Stir-fried pork and bulgogi are not traditional Korean flavors. I wish the taste could be developed a little more. The pork cutlet was okay... Total price is $88 (including tip). If you want to feel the taste of Korea, this is the place to go. Boss, please update the menu!!

Ive enjoyed eating at Mr. Sushi since 2013. Ive only ordered delivery 3 times over the year. Once was okay. Twice it wasnt very good. Last night, August 8th,2022 dd order for delivery and it was Horrible. I live less than a five minute drive from the restaurant. First, I think they gave me a cheaper Bento dinner than the one I ordered but charged me for the expensive one. All the hot food was cold by the time it reached me and the cold food was too warm. The food was terrible - not at all like the food quality when eating in the restaurant. I turned out to be a costly, order that was barely edible.

noodle is fast noodle that you can get at Chinese store 10pack for ten and this place gave me one pack, 3 pc of chicken And bowl of rice for 15xd

Horrible Ugly place to go! We walked in and seated ourselves, no service, no water, no menus, she was only concerned about her take out orders. 2 couples walked in Abd she attended to them immediately but left us for 15 minutes, we rang the bell on the wall but she still ignored us. We will NEVER step a foot in this ugly place! Next door City Kitchen has amazing service, professionalism and kindness. We are working here temporarily for a month and will definitely let all our work colleagues know not to go there!

I recently became a new guest! Multiple times over the last few weeks. I still can t get over how accommodating the staff have been! So so kind. Every time I come in, I try to order something different along with the go to! Always so fresh, excellent quality. Treat your self to the spicy salmon roll, spring rolls, combo it up with the veg crunch roll! Also great date night place! Vegetarian options: The Kindest staff are more then than willing to oblige any dietary restrictions! Also lots of vegetarian options.

Surprisingly low-priced sushi for what I would consider well above average quality, especially their specialty rolls. I go here on a regular basis and have gotten pretty much my whole family addicted. Also the family that owns the place are SO nice! I ordered sushi one day when they were closed and they called me to apologize for being closed- on a holiday! If youre considering local sushi, this is the best place.

Really exceeded my expectations!

My go to Korean spot in Charlottetown. Dont let the name fool you, despite being called Mr. Sushi and not Mr. Bibimbap, the Korean here is really good. Prices are fair and staff is incredibly friendly and quick. The menu is robust with plenty of Japanese and Korean options.

Our family came from Toronto craving authentic Korean food. The reviews were decent so, we chose to dine in. We ordered Korean spicy fish stew called Meuntang and it tasted nothing like it. It tasted like mussles boiled in water with salt. I should of trusted my instinct when owners are not Koreans! The sushi was mediocre and miso soup tasted like water. Plus the fried tempura wasnt crispy at all. I am not trying to be mean but, letting you know if you are looking for authentic Korean food this restaurant wont satisfy your cravings. I hope yall can all come to Toronto to try real sushi and Korean dishes!

A regular lunch venue for me. Spicy ramen is my favourite. But the sashimi is also exquisite. Very reasonable prices.

Loved our dinner last night! We had sonamu sushi, California rolls, spring rolls, yam tempura and my favorite...the veggie Crunch! Cant wait to go back!

The sushi was excellent. The tempura was ice cold... But this is probably the result of it being prepared for nearly an hour before I was allowed to pick it up. This was a very disappointing visit, which is sad because I generally love their food Ordered online, and I arrived 10 minutes after the estimated pick up time. I stood at the pick up counter for 25 minutes before any of the 4 employees would speak to me. I was then asked for the name on my order, and they couldnt find it. They then proceeded to ignore me for another 10 minutes, while I tried to show them my online order, hoping it would jog their memory. During this time, a delivery driver came in, and received 2 separate orders for delivery, while chatting with the chef who complained about how slow they were. By this time, a line has formed behind me that extended out the door, and into the street. The server finally came over to look at my order confirmation, and immediately turned around to collect my order from a table behind her. My order that had been sitting 3 feet away since before I entered the restaurant. Again, I generally enjoy Mr. Sushi a lot. This was very disappointing

Mr Sushi has decent food, but the price and the customer service is not worth it. I have paid over $60 for ramen which is made of cheap instant noodles served in plastic dishes. The sushis are okay, though I can only recommend the California roll and smoked salmon. Now in terms to the customer service, this is where my rating drops. If doing an order to pick up, the staff is not going to be considerate to you...specifically if the order is wrong. I am very unsatisfied about my most recent experience when my roomates and I received the wrong order with a different type of sushi. We had ordered spicy salmon, but the rolls we got didnt have any salmon in it whatsoever. We always order this type of sushi, and that one we had gotten was definitely different. We called to see if anything could be done, and we were told we could have a credit so we accepted; however, minutes later we get a call back and the manager argues that we got the correct order so we wont get the credit. We know that we enjoy the spicy salmon roll and this one was tasteless. The spicy salmon is great, this is why its so expensive, but here we went paying a lot for cheap sushi we did not enjoy. The main idea here is that if we were not satisfied and we were told we would get a credit, but then we are told we are lying or not correct, this is a bad way of managing a restaurant. I will not be coming back again because of it. You get much better sushis and high quality dishes for about the same price at Hojos Japanese Cuisine. The customer service there is much better, too.

This review is SOLELY for take out food from this restaurant. I ve dined in here countless times, the service is impeccable and the food is always what I expect. However, I have ordered take out a few times (the same items I eat when dining in) and each time the quantity is HALFED for the same price. Do they not realize that we notice when they are giving less food for takeout versus dine-in? Not very happy.

Good selection of both Korean and Japanese dish. Food was delicious and the staff was friendly. This is one of the rare places in downtown Charlottetown to open late till 10pm (even in the winter time).

Great little local spot with a ton of personality. The atmosphere is calm and very thematic with orchids at the windows and trees painting the walls. The restaurant is cozy, yet very well spaced out with ample room between tables.

Very fresh and tasty food but also pricey. Will only substitute for a charge.

Its not a pet-friendly restaurant. Even if the cat is confined in the pet box (the surface of the box is only a breathable mesh), the cat will not make any noise. The standards are so strict. I will never go to this restaurant again.

Have loved almost everything Ive tried here. Ramen, udon, dumplings, sushi. Family loves it too. It is not cheap to eat here though. It can sometimes be a bit slow. The the atmosphere inside is casual.
