At Saigon Pho, We Will Deliver To You The Most Authentic that Rich and Deep-in Cultural Taste of Vietnamese Cuisine!
Food came out in less than $5 minutes. The bowl was as big as my head. Tasted amazing. Less than $20. Amazing experience.
Food was great, friendly service. It was really quiet, some music might be nice. The best pho we've found on PEI in a long time.
We really enjoyed the spring rolls and spicy pho. The broth was rich and flavorful. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the beef and veggies were delicious and plentiful. The atmosphere was cute, including pretty plants and art. The service was attentive and jolly. We will eat here again.
The best Vietnamese Restaurant in Downtown! Staffs are very Polite and friendly. The food is superb! 🤩😋 I love their Pho so much!!! 😍 This is my second time visiting this store and they remembered me from my first visit hehe. You guys must try and bring your friends too! ♥️🍜
Quality & consistency!! Have been looking for a new Vietnamese restaurant in Charlottetown since my favourite closed a few years ago, and no other spot has checked all the boxes - EXCEPT Saigon Pho! I’ve ordered both delivery and ate in at this restaurant a handful of times now and I am thoroughly impressed! Staff are friendly, food is fresh and delicious each time. Delivery orders (through a third party service) arrive hot and packed separately to ensure the noodles don’t get soggy. I normally order the P7 Special Pho. (Pictured is the P2 with med rare beef) Today I tried the W2 Wonton soup and was pleasantly surprised by the number of wontons, onion, ground meat (which had actual browning on it - a small detail, but shows its fresh & prepared in house) and a nice sized shrimp. Highly recommend. Excellent comfort food, particularly on these cold winter days.
Was looking for a new Pho fix in Charlottetown and this place was absolutely delicious! 🍜 A must try. Friendly service, delicious Pho and yummy spicy chili oil which the owner told us was her Mom’s recipe. So good! Presentation was much nicer than the photo here, I dove in too quick then remembered to snap a memory!
My family has been here so many times and only 1 word to describe all of our experiences - amazing. The food is great with very reasonable price. Highly recommend Bun Thit Nuong (Grilled Pork Vermicelli). The restaurant is small and cozy, located near downtown Charlottetown. There is a park nearby, which is pretty nice for walk after the meal. Service is top notch. Everyone is super friendly and considerate.
Ordered the fresh salad spring rolls, a bowl of special pho, and the lemon grass chicken vermicelli dish. Absolutely incredible food here! I did not expect to find such a gem for of a pho restaurant. The food is fresh, the meat is thick and tasty, and the service is good! Prices are also fair for PEI.
Tasty food, an excellent services.... Need to go and try
If you are in a hurry or want the right order, stay away. I ordered takeout, they tell me its 20 min, I said fine. After 43 min, they apologize for the delay and bring my order but it is the wrong order. They say that it is busy but you were able to bring the right order for the folks eating in. Not coming back.
Very clean. They are so friendly and care about their customers. I will be back. Highly recommend !
Best wonton soup ever, and Ive heard nothing but good things about the rest of their menu. Absolutely wonderful people that run it, highly recommend giving it a try!!
soup pho is tasted soso. like water
The service is good! Food is ok.
It was my first time visiting this place! I tried the beef pho nam. I would say it is the best one in the town, so authentic. The staff are super friendly and helpful too.
Had dinner here. Vermicelli. Very tasty! The service was great... they hustled!!!!
Last time i had good pho veggie was in 2018 in surrey bc at a restaurant. I have been to Winnipeg and Calgary as well but didnt find thats taste. But finally i found it here. Im so happy and its so delicious. Thanks for good food. Food
Delicious Pho! Very friendly staff. Family run home made food. Would definitely come back again.
Pho Nam Gan was great, service was excellent, and the staff were super friendly!
I ordered the most pricey pho on their menu and asked for less noodles and more veggies. My order came full of noodles, hardly any meat and veggies and even not enough broth. Disappointing!
Really chill vibe in the restaurant that makes you feel at home. Food was amazing and so was the customer service. I came here for dinner but will be coming again for lunch tomorrow! For Vietnamese food in PEI, this is the spot.
Best pho in Charlottetown. The owner is lovely! Service is top notch and the food is top tier and always fresh.
Fantastic service, they always give me water while I wait for takeout, and are fast. Delicious vermicelli dishes ( chicken with lemongrass and pork are favourites). When I had to eat GF, they were awesome with that, too! Friendly family business. Dietary restrictions: They re good at gluten-free dishes.
My old favourite Vietnamese restaurant in town closed several years back, and its been a sad journey finding a replacement restaurant that makes pho as well as they did. Well, I am pleased to report that this place is THE ONE to go to. I am no longer suffering from pho disappointment, because this magnificent soup brings all of the wonderful warm pho feelings and flavours that I want. Excellent rich broth flavour, great portions (even when getting take out!!), and kind staff. Love this place - so happy they opened up and I hope they stay open for years to come.
Our favourite Vietnamese place on PEI. Great traditional food. Very nice family that owns it! We get take out regularly but decided to come in the other day and were not disappointed! Food
Huge portions, super affordable, kid friendly restaurant with attentive and kind service. The salad roll (fresh roll) was my favourite!!! Cant wait to try the pho! Vegetarian options: They had plenty of vegan options!! Dietary restrictions: They were very attentive and asked for allergies and we had them make our daughters sauce without spice. They did it no questions asked! Kid-friendliness: High chairs available, friendly towards kids
Picked up a chicken pho yesterday and a couple of spring rolls 10/10 nice white chicken pieces
The salad rolls are amazing but the pho broth is too sweet for me
The restaurant is very delicious I miss Saigon so much Highly recommend
Saigon Cusine is closed on Tuesdays so we tried this place instead. Pho was just bad. No taste, nothing, just warmed water with tasteless noodled and dried out overcooked meat chunk.
Walked in, waiter was super nice to us and gave us waters so we could order for take out. I got the B2 and the P2 with spring rolls. It was absolutely amazing. The service was amazing. We sat in our car to wait and he came out and got us, and our food was ready within 10 minutes. It was absolutely delicious and will 10/10 be going back for all my vietnamese needs!!
Delicious and very good service! Will be returning soon
We found this hidden gem.whike visiting Charlottetown. We had never tried Vietnamese food before so we walked in. We were met with the friendliest of staff. The food was amazing and there was so much in each portion. Would highly recommend
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Charlottetown.
It wasnt the experience I was looking for but the staff are super nice
fantastic food, really flavourful with fresh veggies in very big portions - highly recommend! also, the service was excellent! really professional, kind and helpful. I came here with my mom, and she ordered the Pho Satay (beef soup with satay sauce), one of their house specialties - it ended up being too spicy for her (she has some cancer/medication-related sensitivities to spicy food) and when she mentioned it they were extremely kind and helpful, offering to switch the broth, brought us ice water etc. I ended up just switching soups with my mother instead - both soups were phenomenal, but if you can handle spice, I highly highly recommend the Beef Pho Satay, it is soooooo delicious. but the vegetarian soup (noodles with vegetable broth) was also really delicious. wealso ordered the salad rolls which were excellent. we had to take like half our soups home because the portion size was really big-very happy to have leftovers :) Vegetarian options: there were only 3 vegetarian options for the main course, but the vegetarian soup (noodles with vegetable broth) was really delicious with fresh veggies.
Amazing people nd food
Was ok but not up to the standard we are accustomed to at the eateries in Tampa Bay.
Everything was delicious. The service was excellent . They will now have a frequent client. Food
Definitely the best Vietnamese foods I have had in Charlottetown.
I love coming here for lunch. The food is excellent. I love their salad rolls. We also had vermicelli with chicken which was also very tasty. The family who run this business are very friendly. It s a hidden gem in downtown Charlottetown.
Our group of four from Toronto, vacation in PEI for few days, it is excellent for a place so far from everything still have the authentic taste. Price is not expensive at all, staff here are so friendly, even the cook comes out greet me . nice scenery in PEI , warm weather, good food cheap price, what else can I ask for
Stopped in during a rainy, cold day in Charlottetown. SO GLAD we did! The Special Pho soup was amazing and in a HUGE bowl! Very reasonable - $35.98 (C) for two people. Super nice owners with a quiet, cozy atmosphere.
I ate here September 26th. Very fresh and great service. I will be back for sure
We ordered take out and I believe I have found my favorite pho restaurant. Everything is so fresh and my taste buds are very satisfied! We had p7 pho and P10 off the menu. The best flavored spring rolls and that plum sauce is sweet n spicy and so good. I will order again real soon
Food is amazing and the service is great
It was my first time trying Vietnamese food. 10/10. Nice and friendly customer service.
Great food! Owners are very friendly and accomodating! Loved their C3 Fried rice and deep fry-chicken with vegies. The Chef Mama is one of the best!
We got take out from here 3 times now and its definitely our favourite spot! Delicious flavours and great portion sizes. Best spot in Charlottetown!
Best vietnamese food of town. I wasnt feeling good because of the weather but after trying pho nam... Damn!
The food here is so good.
Cozy restaurant, will certainly exceed your expectations .
Amazing! One of many restaurants that offers me not only authentic homemade food but also great experience overall. Definitely would recommend to anyone who s in town
Delicious. Good job
This restaurant is amazing, it served the worst Vietnamese Pho bowl I have ever tasted. How can the business survive, I wonder.
First time: had the V1, crispy tofu over noodles, plus salad. Very good. Super nice people at the counter. Recommended.
Very nice food Have a great day here
Always ordered on SkiptheDish app and never dined in until today. What a little gem in Charlottetown. If you have been to Vietnam, you will probably appreciate the ambience as well as the rich flavour they manage to recreate in this Canadian small town. The service and food are equally good. I hope they receive the reputation they deserve. Beef is tender, the broth has so many layers of flavours. Well done.
Great find on our first night in PEI. The family that owns the restaurant are very hospitable. The food is delicious! We had shrimp fresh rolls, the rare and well done beef brisket + meat ball pho and the grilled pork bun with a Vietnamese coffee. Everything was so good, our kids at every last drop!
So yummy and the staff was very friendly! Spring rolls are awesome.
Best Pho in this town - small place but clean - fast service -soup very very yummy - good bowl of hot soup for cool and super windy day
Some of the best pho I ve ever had. A great location, clean interior, friendly staff, and delicious food. I would recommend this place if you ve never tried pho before.
Amazing food and fantastic staff
Best Pho weve ever had, including other highly rated spots in all major Canadian cities. So lucky to have this spot in PEI
Very nice - I really enjoyed the fried chicken on rice
Great Vietnamese food! The taste is very close to authentic food from my home country yet balanced enough for international people to eat. A review from a Vietnamese for you to trust. Highly recommend sate pho-southern styled (hot, sweet, and sour) and salad roll. Grilled pork vermicelli (bun thit nuong) is good as well
Food is amazing
Service was great and the food was delicious. My 2 year old wouldnt stop eating my Pho Thai and the veggie rolls and peanut sauce was awesome. We will definitely be repeat customers.
A wonderful restaurant with friendly service.
Excellent Vietnamese food and even better service. The Pho was fantastic and super fresh - will definitely be back for more!
Fantastic food and service! Wonderful options for a vegan too and they were very accommodating. Delicious!
This was my first time trying Vietnamese food.. omg this was amazing! It was a very large portion so about $15.00 for two meals! Great price! Delicious food!
Good service and amazing food
This was really good. Surprisingly good. It was so good that we had to order food from here two days in a row. The flavors were really good and the sauces are amazing. The peanut sauce was so good I was tempted to use the straw for it. I wouldnt be surprised if the straw is intended for the peanut sauce. Both times we ordered from here we got different things to try a wider variety of menu items and everything was great. Nothing was disappointing in the slightest and we are extremely happy with the quality of the food. Im not sure what that secret sauce for the pork is but when I die just lay me to rest on a bed of it so my afterlife can be just as tasty as that pork. Also maybe drizzle some of the peanut sauce on top as well. Overall very very good food for a great price and we will be back for sure.
The food is good and big portion but the place is uncomfortable and small.
It s nice but to me a bit salty with the soup. Coconut shrimps are good and rolls are decent. If you wanna feel homemade Vietnam style s soup l I recommend this place. The staff was really kind.
Visited this location before and it was good. Went again recently and it got even better. Great food, great prices and most of all, fantastic staff. The team themselves made this visit worth it. Looking forward to going again.
Salad rolls were good, but the Pho was terribly disappointing. The broth was bland and flavorless, based from chicken stock instead of beef. Also, the soup contained very little meat. Not authentic at all, cannot recommend.
This is absolutely the worst vietnamese food I have ever had. Nothing is authentic, both the soup broths we ordered tasted like a bland chicken broth. Even the noodles were the wrong type, and there was barely any meat in the pho. After spending almost $100 for my family we are currently at another restaurant getting a second dinner. Incredibly disappointed.
Dont get it not good
Stopped here for lunch today after seeing all the positive reviews and was super disappointed. I m not sure if they changed their soup base but I ve eaten Vietnamese food many many times and that was not pho that they served me. The broth was almost flavourless, definitely not authentic. Would not recommend if you ve eaten pho before, probably my worst experience eating Vietnamese food. The waitress was really nice but that s the only positive thing.
Dont know where those 1 star reviewers are eating, but it sure aint this place. I go twice a week and its always a great meal.
Good restaurant, good food, recommend people come to enjoy with family
Great Vietnamese restaurant! Highly recommend!
Bun ga xao xa and Phos taste were so good, good service!
I know you shouldnt expect much of real ethnic food in small town but this was really bad i had to write about it. Not sure what people were eating at on google reviews but i guess they dont know the real deal. We ordered Pho with beef and the soup was disgusting sweat water with no taste (couldnt you add star anise, cinnamon, salt and beef bones and some MSG? Seems like you added sugar and water and a tad of anise. It was sooooo bad. The noodles were all broken up and over cooked and so little. The beef was not thin slice and only like 3 tiny pieces. For $13 come on. Worse was the Bun bowl. When the guy handed it to me i thought it was empty as so light. MY gosh there was literraly 1 1/2 bites of noodle on the bottom. For $14 could you not add another 30 cents of noodles? It was ridiculous how little. The grilled pork was gross and couldnt be found. It has some jar like cha sui sauce on it and think the was 3 shreds with some SALAD MIX *(gross) Should be thai basil and other green. It was so bad i walked out and let the other half pay and could not complain as i would get be nasty. The guy was nice so didnt have the heart but this is not vietnamese food. Worst was price, quantity and quality. Paid $50 FOR 3 and felt ripped off. Go to Mc D instead. I went back and had bagel and banana at hotel as i was not even 1/2 full even after adding extra rip off noodle for $3 as they gave nothing in original bowl (it was such a joke the quantity) Noodle are so cheap. $1.69 a pack - so giving a reasonable amt should cost you more than 25 cents.(esp given this cost me $14 plus 3 to eat plus tip and tax (for something worth $1. or so. Go eat elsewhere - sorry owner but you gotta change something unless you continue to have customers who dont know the real deal or much.
Really good food
The Saigon Pho Vietnamese restaurant does a delicious Salad Roll. The only salad roll I have had that is better, was the same thing except deep fried. The vegetarian pho had fresh vegetables and firm tofu, and with a little bit of hoison and soya sauce the broth tasted really good. For those reviews of bland broth, pho broth is supposed to taste more subtle than generic chicken noodle soup broth. I am not dissapointed, the pho was very good. I wish the tofu was marinated in their sauce that they serve with the salad rolls. You can ask for bean sprouts. The service is great here. Very accommodating to my specific requests. I absolutely recommend supporting this local business.
Best pho tai in Charlottetown. Great staff, clean inside, family run tiny Vietnamese restaurant. To good to be true.. But it is!!!
I order from this place all the time, best Vietnamese food Ive had so far. The Bun Thit Nuong is especially good :)
