I drove 45 minutes to get some Caribbean food.... Worth every minute of the drive, I ordered curry goat for lunch and a takeaway of jerk for dinner.... The curry goat on a cold snowy afternoon was like a slice of heaven....warm belly full food, it wanted a pinch more spice but all in all it was excellent...men had a lil west Indies vs Bangladesh on the TV, if not for the snow outside I felt like I was home in the islands. The jerk chicken I had for dinner later that night...it was superb...if you from the islands...and you close to this place....don't miss it...
Ordered the mixed plate, Oxtail and jerk chicken, the flavor was unreal and the food was phenomenal, I will definitely be going back for more!
I went their first time ever the big guy fresh outta jail .. just ignored me then I waited super long for my food and I got ripped off over price didn’t even taste good mind u I was super polite I tipped more then I should’ve just to be disappointed ☹️ worst Jamaican food ever taste like nothing !!! Honestly I should have just asked my mom to make me my jerk !! Those jerks can’t even make jerk chicken properly

Ordered from Jamrock Restaurant for the 1st time !!! I cannot complain... Chicken was very tender. Rice was perfect, and the hot coleslaw was very good !! This is a small, and was too much for me to finish, perfect size for one person. Not overly spicy, I would say medium for my tastebuds, possibly spicy for someone else's lol The sauce they put on top is also very flavourful. I do recommend if you are ever craving Jamaican food !!!
Finally made my way back to this restaurant and we were able to try their food. We both had fish and we were pleased with the meal, the portions and the presentation. Staff and owners treated us very well, will definitely be back again soon.
Finally some great Jerk! If you want to try something new and give your tastebuds a change of life , you need to give this place a try. The Jerk chicken hits the right spot and the patties are also a no-brainer. Very good choice of music and staff who make you feel welcome and appreciated. J ai commandé la grande assiette de poulet jerk, un classique de la cuisine Jamaïcaine. L assiette est servie avec du riz, des légumes chaud et des bananes frites. Le poulet était bon et tout était chaud. J ai demandé pas épicé et c était correct. La portion de riz était généreuse. Tout était bon et typique de ce type de cuisine. Service rapide.

First time we came here, since it opened last November 2022. What a discovery !! Authentic Jamaican cuisine. Very nice potions. We tried the Oxtail, curry goat, bbq chicken with rice beans and salad .There s a lot of good choices to choose from.. The tropical rhythms sorrel ginger drink was to die for. Fantastic staff. Very friendly. We will definitely come back. Parking: Lots of free parking. Kid-friendliness: Nice size restaurant.

One of the best restaurants in Châteauguay. Friendly staff and very well served! Deliciously typical Jamaican dish. We were a group of 18 and they delivered. I highly recommend

This food was so good! My friend and I came from upstate NY deeply in need of good home cooked food for our spring break. We saw this place on google and decided to give it a shot. Trust that it was great decision. I teared up that dish like it was nobody s business. The owners were so nice! I wanted to come back in the morning for porridge before I left but unfortunately they were closed the next day, the owners handed me some porridge for the next morning, and trust I teared that up too!! The food was good, the service was good, definitely will come back again.

The best Jamaican restaurant in chateauguay hands down
After getting a delightful taste of their jerk chicken at the jerk fest, I was eager to visit this restaurant. The flavors at the fest truly transported me back to the authentic jerk chicken I had in Jamaica: incredibly flavorful, spicy, and melt-in-the-mouth goodness with a generous drizzling of sauce. However, my recent experience here didnt quite match up. The chicken was a tad on the dry side, and the sauce seemed a bit different. On the bright side, we were served by a pleasant lady who made our dining experience enjoyable. I cherish the quest for the best jerk chicken in Canada and will continue my search. Nonetheless, Id recommend giving this place a try..
A real local, small business that food is on point. Never give up on quality and people will always come. Good place
