Tokyo Sushi in Châteauguay

Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the sushi platter I ordered. With the super good comments I imagined a delight... very bland and no originality especially for the price ($71 for 40 sushi). No tuna, no shrimp, barely a salmon sushi, the rest only pollock or salad...very disappointed, I hope it was just a bad evening for the chef.

Whats better than eating while watching Dragon Ball and Pokémon! The portions are generous and it is the owner himself and his wife who cook your meal! You will not regret your experience!

This place was pretty cool I guess, but it was very creepy and theres a weird smell, it was very awkward and the guy that served us just came our of nowhere and smelt like cigarettes which wasnt very pleasing. We didnt eat anything, we left before we could order, it felt like something out of a horror movie, not to be rude.

Excellent food, the sushi was wow as was the chicken udon soup!!! Very friendly staff. I recommend!

I loved my experience at Tokyo Sushi the people who work there are extremely nice, the atmosphere is really cool! Be careful with the ramen, they are extremely good, but when he asks how much out of 10 for the spicy level, I took 5 out of 10 and it was very spicy But it was delicious! And you have to try the toilet, its a must!

Warm little family restaurant, the cuisine is incredible, we highly recommend!! A great discovery, for lovers of ramen and sushi and much more!! Vegetarian options: Vegetarian miso ramen, a real delight! I take spicy but not too much and its perfect for spicy lovers who have a moderate tolerance like me :)

The cook and the staff are so nice, they fixed it for us because we had taken too spicy but the chef diluted it so that it was less spicy. But the staff are too nice.

It s the best ramen soup I ve had in the area!!! Omg so good! I went there twice, we tried the small starters everything is delicious and very well prepared. The sushi and noodle dishes are finger licking!! But the highlight is definitely the seafood ramen soup! Really nice little warm restaurant with typical Japanese decor. We eat cramped but its worth it because I will go back there to eat the curry beef ramen soup which was so delicious as well as the dunplings. Disappointed by the service which was mediocre and the sushi, I recommend more typical meals that I cannot find elsewhere. Please note that this is a BYOB option. Luckily I had one in the car because its not really marked.

We went for my girlfriends birthday and never did we expect to have such an amazing experience! The owner was absolutely amazing, made us feel so welcomed. I recently went to Tokyo Sushi for my birthday. My sister made a reservation and mentioned it was for a birthday. When my partner and I arrived I could not believe how we were greeted! The chef greeted us as at the entrance of the restaurant with a happy birthday wish and a warm smile. They decorated the restaurant just for us, we could not believe it! We started off by ordered the spring rolls; warm, crispy and fresh! the miso soup; absolutely AMAZING, I have never eaten a better miso soup in my life. And the fried chicken by recommendation by the chef which turned out to be one of the most addictive things I have ever eaten! After all our appetizers we chatted with the chef who was an absolute delight with so much energy and amazing stories!! Then we ordered our main meal. My partner ordered the Poke bowl with spicy tuna, which was an amazing portion and so fresh and flavourful! ( i had to steal some to try) and I ordered the Pork Ramen again on recommendation by the chef, and was he ever right again! The pork was so tender and flavourful and the soup itself was so rich, but the kicker was the noodles which had such a beautiful flavour! The chef made the ramen that I ordered and his wife (the other talented chef ) made fresh sushi which my sister ordered ( which i also tried) and it was one of the freshest and most delicious ! The whole experience was absolutely amazing and probably one of the most memorable and delicious birthdays I have ever spent! I would go back ever week if I could!

Ate there with a few friends a while ago, and I was thinking about writing a review, (despite me never having written one), as a sign of gratitude towards the staff as they were friendly. I mostly eat sashimi only due to my picky diet and I am proud to say that their sashimi is fresh and it is one of the best I have ever eaten. You can take my review as bad or good depending on your views but I will most definitely come back here as soon as I can.

Cold service. Very high waiting time. Disgusting food, the salmon was in a can from Dollorama, everything was bathed in a viscous and tasteless sauce. The rice was undercooked and the avocado came straight out of its freezer bag. Regarding the Bento, not only is it disgusting with a disgusting frozen taste but also, it is not a Bento but a fake soup that I wouldnt even dare to give to my dog. In addition, it was very expensive (70 for 20 sushi and a Bento) To flee. Worst restaurant in Châteauguay

This place is great! The sushi was really appetizing and the ramen broth was also very delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for traditional Japanese cuisine. Would definitely come again! The food we ordered was pork ramen with tonkotsu broth, Japanese chicken curry and sushi.

This is the best ramen shop on the south shore! The sushis , ramen and even the bento are just sublime and it became my favorite restaurant! The owners are really sweet and will take the time to talk to you so you get the best dining experience.

You can taste the love and passion in the food. Me and my girlfriend were looking for a sushi joint on the south shore and came across this little shack with neon signs hanging on the window. Once you step into the restaurant, you feel the authenticity and warmth from the staff. The owner came out and greeted me and my girlfriend because we were new customers and he made us feel like home. Amazing service, amazing food and amazing hospitality.

Everything about this place is amazing. The environment is very welcoming and calm. The music is very good. There is some anime playing on the TVs. The service is perfect. The owner and his daughter gave us an excellent service. There was no language barrier they speak English and french. They are not afraid to suggest dishes. All the food is homemade and most of it is traditional Japanese dishes, which we do not see often nowadays. Ive had the Porc Ramen half spicy and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Ive had the miso soup as well. Best miso in town thats for sure. Ive also had some Mochi for dessert. They were also amazing. I really dont believe there is any flaws in this restaurant. Everything was perfect for me and my parents. I am coming back very soon and this restaurant will be my only restaurant of choice when i need my asian style food. So come on down everyone! Try it at least once its worth your time and money, trust me. Vegetarian options: There are a couple of vegettarian dishes. Parking: The parking is shared with pizza maya. The ramen is up there with the best I ve ever had, and you can choose your spice level from 1-10. The owner was very jovial and full of stories. You won t regret coming here, it was perfection.

This place absolutely went above and beyond! I came here to celebrate my moms birthday. Upon arrival, they had put up decorations AND had a cake for my mom. The owner was the absolutely nicest man and his grand daughter working there was lovely. The food was DELICIOUS. They were very attentive. I LOVED GOING THERE, cant wait to go back. My toddler loved it too, the owner went NEXTDOOR to get him fries (hes a picky eater). 10/10 highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!

I had a Delicious ramen where the chef captured my spicy tolerance perfectly and toped it off a set of 8 gioza . Decided, my partner and I, to try it based on the reviews and comments, and we were not disappointed. We are from out of town, but the ride was worth it. We ordered 2 bowls of ramen (seafood miso & pork tonkotsu) and 4 plates of different kinds of sushi. The food was really good and surprised me in a good way, since places now tend to lower their quality or reduce the size of their portions while increasing their prices. But not here. The owners seem to be proud of what they do and what they serve. If you go, youll realize that folks return there for a good reason and are greeted as friends. From the moment we got there, the welcoming was warm and pleasant. The owners come out of their way to greet you and come talk to you. By the time we finished our meal, we were the only ones in the place, and were able to chat with the owner for 20min about their back story and who they are. A really enjoyable exchange. Great small place that we enjoyed fully. We will be back to try more ramen, sushi and poke.

So glad to have this place in my hometown! Went for the first time last night, just noticed it as I was driving by. The owner was SO kind and friendly, and everything I ordered was hot, fresh, and delicious. The ramen is excellent (I forgot to take a pic before I demolished half of it), and I HIGHLY recommend the gyoza!

For our last evening in Canada with my partner, we went to this restaurant and we really had a very pleasant time. We made our trip several months ago, but I promised the boss I would write him a review on Google! The food was excellent, and we chatted with the owner until 11 p.m.! We were treated to lots of anecdotes and history, it was an unforgettable moment. A big thank you to the boss and his family for their welcome and their generosity.

Excellent ramen, very tasty, exactly as it should be! We can choose our spicy flavor level, from 0 to 10, in the photo it is level 6. The owners name is Chris, he is from Singapore and he knows how to cook! I highly recommend it. I will definitely go back :).

The restaurant is beautiful, the staff so nice and what can I say about the food. The portions are generous and the taste is incredible. There were 3 of us and all our dishes were delicious. We will come back without hesitation.

I would return solely for the purpose of having him serve me once more. I am drooling while writing this review because the food was delicious. Incredible immersion as soon as you set foot in this charming little restaurant. Incredibly kind and gracious employees. Excellent food and for those who like anime, great TV and showing Japanese classics. We had take out and everything was perfect. Im going back next weekend to eat there. It saves you from the parking problems of the big city and it s very accessible, what could be better? Parking: Right next to the restaurant, very easy to access
