Restaurant Norok in Châteauguay

A big thank you to restaurant Norok, thank you very much Vio Rica for the exceptional evening! On very short notice you prepared a surprise party for my partners 50th birthday! The food, homemade, delicious, music, ambiance, service, everything was magnificent!

Nice renovation, nice place for receptions, but not as a restaurant. Very limited menu, no wine list. Expensive $140 for two people with a bottle of wine for $35. I was still hungry when I left. Slow service and we were the only customers.

A welcoming place, with a huge reception room where cleanliness is the order of the day. The traditional dishes are carefully prepared by the owner, Mrs. Viorica. We must highlight the efforts of the staff who make the difference.

I have never seen such a quantity of food served in any other restaurant. Its always very rarely served with a beautiful drawing of ketchups or soy sauce on your plate + 3 sheets IF its a chic and expensive restaurant, otherwise not 3 sheets just the drawing is enough. Never here! Always food in ABUNDANCE not to mention the taste how fresh and delicious it is. The renovated and modern atmosphere with very beautiful traditional decor throughout. Design and art at the table like in chic restaurants but for less money. Life music with different themes. Courteous attentive staff dressed in traditional Moldovan clothing. Smiling and flexible owner. Those who say that the food is not good or not enough YOU ARE HATERS who are never happy with anything, this is a typical portrait that we observe these days. I have been there at least 4-5 times, NEVER DISAPPOINTED neither me nor my friends

I want to thank the hosts from the bottom of my heart, every time I step on the threshold of this restaurant, its as if Im entering my parents house . Warm welcome, tasty food and maximum joy . Like at my mothers house, only at Norok .

This restaurant offers a European dining experience that does not disappoint. The dishes are tasty, well presented, and offer a perfect combination of tradition and innovation. The service is impeccable, with welcoming, attentive and extremely warm staff. The hosts are always smiling.

What can I say about this wonderful restaurant, it was a great discovery with my mother this evening. Excellent value for money, considering the extraordinary quality of the food. They have wines that come from private Romania and it was wow in the mouth. Good food and nice atmosphere for any occasion

Very good experience. Really a lot of food, there were around 15 of us, and we didnt manage to eat it all. Plus, it was good. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. I recommend this place!

Very, very clean restaurant. The traditional Moldovan and Romanian food is very good, they respect traditional recipes, the food is fresh, not frozen, cooked on site. The atmosphere is very good, the atmosphere and the welcome are very warm. I highly recommend it for people who know or dont know Moldovan and Romanian cuisine. N. B. for customers who do not know all about Moldovan and Romanian cuisine and who are for the first time in a Moldovan-Romanian restaurant: When you order a platter or any food, ask the waiter how the food is eaten ( mixture), also to recommend the food to you on the menu chart. The food was superb & diversified, celebrating the Romanian/Moldavian tradition. The service, from the owner Viorica, to all the servers, has surpassed the expectations. They were all very courteous, mannered & professional. The atmosphere was sensational, we had a great party till midnight. The live music by the very talented Georgeta was very entertaining. Overall, the quality of music, including folkloric, latino, reggaeton, romanian pop and more, was exceptional. And lets not forget the environment, the decor celebrating the Romanian/Moldavian tradition and the sparkling cleanliness overall. Congratulations Norok team, owner & manager Viorica, Chef & his team and all the personnel We definitely recommend. Kid-friendliness: We organized a beautiful celebration @Norok, and the management was able to organize a separate table for the children. Nearby, there was a separate room with TV, some tables & chairs, and toys for the kids.

The food is good but simple, the atmosphere is cold, theres a little something missing...the service is warmer, the prices are expensive for nothing...basically Im not impressed...

That s true An important detail of a Moldovan home is the carpet. This is the real pride of Moldovans. They are famous for their embroidery skills and creating unique carpets that are in demand all over the world. Therefore, in this restaurant I saw a lot of carpets that create the coziness of the restaurant. As a Moldovan, I am excited about this new restaurant that offers traditional dishes from our native country here in Canada. The food is absolutely delicious, reminding me of the authentic flavors of home. The atmosphere is friendly and warm, and the service is impeccable. Its like a piece of Moldova right here in Quebec! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy a bit of Moldovan cuisine and hospitality. Bravo for this great addition to the culinary scene!

Nous sommes tombés sur ce restaurant par pure chance. Je cherchais un resto différent pour faire changement. Un accueil chaleureux, de la bonne musique pour danser et samuser et une excellente bouffe, le tout à un prix raisonnable. Tout ce quon a mangé était délicieux. Une belle découverte pour nous. Nous y reviendrons, cest certain.

The kitchen is very good. I highly recommend the fried cheese pies, delicious! We enjoyed mamaliga, the filet mignon was succulent, the traditional sausages just perfect! What can I say about the warm welcome. Superb place. We will surely come back to it. I also recommend for organizing parties and other events, plenty of space for dancing in a jovial atmosphere and beautiful live music sung by a virtuoso performer.
