Restaurant Familial Chez Léo (Resto La Station) Le premier restaurant de la famille est ouvert vers la fin des années 50 dans la vieille station de train de Châteauguay. Fondé par Léo et son épouse Colette, cette dernière opérait un magasin général dans le local à côté. La référence en smoked meat dans la région, nous sommes également connu pour notre grande variété de poutine et de hamburger. Notre sauce à spaghetti au smoked meat est incontournable

Smoked meat is incredible, best in town and it's not even close. French fries are also the worst in town, though. Hopefully they step that part up eventually.
Spaghetti smoke meat 2 for 1 special is a JOKE. Portions used to be good and the container bigger and now $20+ for mostly noodles and a little sauce. Had to look for the smoke meat because there was so little. Just a joke. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
Family and I came here after a long drive from Toronto and wow were we hungry! Came here upon recommendation from my roommate when I told her we wanted variety. This place did not disappoint as there were many options to choose from, from burgers, pizza, entrees, shareables and more! We got nachos, escargot, poutine with smoked meat, side of fries, and steak. Our server asked us if we wanted the dishes to come out as they were finished, but we just said to bring it all at once. I thought it was great that they asked! Even so, everything came out in a timely manner. Everything was pretty tasty! I was skeptical of the escargot (first time eating it) and it was sooo good! I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone. My favourite was the poutine though! Would like to come back with friends for a drink or something!
Stopped in on a long drive and felt so lucky to have found this place. Fabulous smoked meat sandwiches! Melt in your mouth and perfect taste. The owner was very friendly and had his daughter come and play the player piano for us. A definite stop!
First time here, absolutely great food! Ordered the smoke meat and loved the fact that we could choose which meat we wanted, not the typical smoked meat with fat. Lots to choose from on the menu, Definitely a place to try!

I've been wanting a good smoked meat sandwich for a while but was not in the mood to cross over the bridge into Montréal. Someone recommended this place, so I tried it today. The service was fast and friendly and they now have seating inside and out. I ordered my sandwich lean, next time I'll oder it medium, but even lean I have to say this is by far the best smoked meat sandwich in the Chateauguay region.

So where do you start? This restaurant is misrepresentation!!! I order a double and I receive a juggernaut! :p ok joking aside, its a cool restaurant, were happy to have found something local. I love the conversion of the gas station into a snack bar. 5 stars overall, 4 for the kitchen, the poutine sauce was too salty for me. The fries were very good though.
A little place that takes us back in time with vintage decor and a piano like in a saloon. The smoke meat was very good but the bread was not very fresh. The potatoes tasted like old oil. The owners were very friendly.

Super nice discovery this Sunday evening, a more than pleasant family dinner. I loved the smoked meat submarine, my partner loved its exquisite burger, and my son-in-law his wow club sandwich! Very good fries, small downside on the poutine sauce which was less to my liking. I love the vintage atmosphere of the place, very comfortable bench, impeccable service from start to finish, we take good care of the customer. Experience to be repeated.

I had dinner at the Station on a Thursday around 5 p.m. We ate there and the food was good and the portions were OK. My daughter had a meat and cheese sandwich and I had the smokemeat. A little disappointed with the smokemeat because it is not served with a pickle. The cleanliness of the place left something to be desired and the atmosphere was too dark.

Its my first time at this place, as soon as I entered I was welcomed by asking me if it was my first time and explaining the specialists of the place, I ordered a cheeseburger trio and took a seat at my table , little waiting time before eating and plate well garnished with real fried potatoes (no frozen ones, the meatball was very thick and generous in the filling I feel that I will return there often because for me all the points which make a restaurant a good establishment are all present

I went to this restaurant because I was told that they offered keto poutine, unfortunately the restaurant did not have celery root fries at the time of my visit, so I had the poutine; cheese, sauce and smokemeat. It was good, but it falls on the heart since it is too rich in fat so I recommend the small size even for a meal. My friend had the fried smokemeat sandwich, the fries were crispy and golden, you could see that the oil was fresh. Quiet atmosphere and old style decoration as one would say, but clean. The poutine was good, I have nothing to complain about and the service was impeccable. For a short outing with friends it would be a pleasant place.

We had already been and it was delicious, the woman at the counter explained the menus for the buffets to us, it looked great!, So yesterday we went to eat and we took the plate of smoke meat and the young Cashier told us that there was bread that came with it to make our own sandwich, when she came to bring us our plates there was no bread, so we told her that she simply forgot, and thats when she tells us: its my mistake, the bread didnt come with it, so we tell her that we chose this plate because the bread came with it, so please bring some bread. She comes back with 2 slices of rock-hard bread, even convinced that it came from the trash! Too bad, because we were there to eat and then order a buffet for the end of November and one for Christmas, you lost us as customers ! Very insulting!, All you had to do was charge us the 2 slices of FRESH bread and we would have paid for them, big disappointment

Its super worth the drive out of Montreal island to grab a bite, especially in a group. Portions are more than generous and food comas might be more common than thought.
