Coming from Vermont to NYC stop here for a quick lunch food was really good excelente service & fast A+

Service was very friendly and prompt. Fries were good. I had the mozzarella panini which was good as well. Folks seemed to be content with their food.

Been coming for years and always had a good experience up until I received the check today. They are now charging a non negotiable POS service fee in addition to an extra non-cash fee for using a credit card. I understand the credit card fee and am willing to pay cash if preferred but now Im just angry at my surprise bill instead of happy about the great food. Seriously just increase the price on the menu, at least thats honest and transparent. Ill be thinking twice next time we are going out.

This was an amazing meal. Stopped here after coming out of Boston. Don t let the dive bar atmosphere discourage you from stopping in and getting a bite to eat and a drink. The menu was not anything like we would have expected and had some great options. Some of the best food we had on this trip. Definitely worth the drive getting there, we plan to be back.

So , have taken out from Chatham Grill many times and absolutely love their food!! We just tried to call in a take out order and the female that answered the phone, said Can you please hold a minute? was on hold for 20 min , with no update or communication. Finally hung up and tried to callback for next 15-20 min,getting a busy signal. So we sadly gave up. Being in customer service myself, I understand that people are busy and/or short staffed but honest communication goes a long way. Just getting back on the phone and saying that they were busy and service might be awhile would have been the right thing to do. Extremely disappointed A previously long time Chatham Grill fan

From the outside it doesnt look like much but stop by if you want to eat well in a rather unusual place The burgers and pasta with vodka are delicious!

This is one of those places I am hesitant to write about because I dont want it overrun, but for several years now this has been one of our most reliable local places for a simple but delicious meal, served by very friendly people, in a lovely and charming setting. We were there last night for burgers (these are seriously delicious, served with a third of a beautiful caramelized pan-fried onion, really nice cole slaw, and a healthy half-pound patty); we also had the chopped salad (better eat-in than take-out). We also tried the turkey pot pie (again, something I think that would be better there than taken away) which is more like a stew with some bread, and which might be too garlicky for some. We have eaten here probably two dozen times, never been disappointed and sometimes really pleasantly surprised. Parking: Theres a small lot adjacent to the restaurant and reasonably ample street parking

We stopped in to eat dinner. It is a small cozy place that is big on ambiance and intimacy. The food was delicious. The wait staff was warm friendly and attentive. We totally enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Try it...youll love it.

The Arugula salad with pears and grilled chicken is so delicious. I exchange Blue cheese for Feta and its perfect! They seem to always be short staffed so the wait times between service can be spotty -- but everyone is always so kind and friendly. We prefer to go during lunch time.

We went there for lunch because of a recommendation from Susan from Sienna Sky. It did not disappoint. They had a nice menu selection. Our drinks and food were delicious. Left my handbag there by accident, and they saved it for me. So grateful to the staff!!

Best corn & avocado gazpacho I ve ever had! And an arugula salad with perfect leaves and amazing dressing. My wife s quesadillas were fabulous. Service was friendly and fast and professional thanks Marcia! Try the Czekhed-out Pilsner: deliciousness!

Delicious food and big portions at this cozy Columbia County restaurant. Best soup I ve had all year was the gazpacho with avocado chunks. Best fish and chips I ve had since Cape Cod. Moscow Mule cocktail was perfect. Decor was a little rustic but clean and service was just right.

Food was amazing, service too. Very reasonable prices. I m usually a very picky eater and this place was up to my expectations. Just one tiny thing..we usually put chicken on a caesar salad not sardines. However.. Definitely recommend

Wonderful....meatloaf, crabcake sandwich & smoked pork chop. Waitress was friendly & welcoming.

My wife and I eat here occasionally and usually the food was OK. We ate here recently and will not return. I had the surf and turf Fajitas and my wife had the brick chicken. The steak in the Fajitas was absolutely disgusting. It was total fat and grizzle so bad I was unable to eat any of the steak. My wife had the brick chicken in the past and it used to be a 1/2 chicken. Now its basically just a chicken breast and it was over cooked. I feel like we threw away $60.00. You guys need to do better.

Had a lite dinner with 5 friends on a Friday night at 6pm. Dining room was busy but not packed. I liked that it was not too loud inside the restaurant. Menu offered many comfort food items. My party ordered a hamburger, chicken wings, meatloaf and fish tacos. Good selection of craft beer and wine. Total check with tip was about $130.

Always pleasant and treats everyone like home!

Food was good, all made on the premises. Fish and chips were delicious. The Caesar salad was good although perhaps with more anchovy than expected. The special appetizer of Brussel Crisps was tasty, but very oily. The other food we ordered was fine.

Cozy, home-cooked comfort food - and the last place in NY that won t try to rob you for a martini.

I ve given this place too many chances. We ve stopped eating dine in. The service is always very slow. So we ve been doing take out. The food is decent but nothing amazing. There just aren t a lot of options in Chatham for dinner. But after eating a quesadilla and finding a metal staple in my mouth we re done. I called and they were very apologetic. Refunded the amount for the quesadilla. But the fact is they served me a metal staple in my food that wound up in my mouth. And I easily could have swallowed it. Unacceptable.

I wish this was a better review, but average is all it deserves. Friendly staff saved it from a 2/5. The menu is way too sprawling and clearly the chef had little idea how to execute it well. The gazpacho was tasty, but was a rushed preparation with a tomato juice base. With a few simple touches, namely some ingredients blended together, it could have been excellent. My shrimp scampi with angel hair was drowning in water, random clumps of melted cheese and zero flavor. The burger ordered had to be sent back for a total incorrect cooking temperature. My advice: slash the menu and get those dishes excellent. Have a couple of specials and deliver on them. My fear....Gordon Ramsey Kitchen Nightmare episode.

Always a nice place to stop for a good meal in a casual setting. Very friendly staff with a fun diversity of items. I often wish I saved more room for dessert as I do think this is a strong suit. Kid friendly with plentiful seating. Food isn t the very best but definitely a solid option for Chatham. Will continue to visit when in town.

Blew me away. Random stop heading back to NYC from Stratton and it was phenomenal.

Awesome place. The meat loaf competes against my moms. Comfort good should be this good everywhere. The service was very good too.

We did curbside delivery: crab cakes, beet salad, brick chicken, roast duck-- all excellent -- tasty, nicely cooked, colorful! After eating our own cooking for months, it was a real treat!

Each fall, we travel to Chatham from Mass for a day trip. We always go to the Chatham Grill. We have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious. Generous portions at a reasonable price. The waitress was friendly, courteous and professional. She came over to our table several times to check in on us.

A gem of a place the food is delicious and a go to place for lunch and dinner on any occasion with a group or alone. Their pork chops, sides, salads, steaks, wings, meatloaf all very good and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get. Highly recommend this place!

Small dining room but really cute and cozy. Food was outstanding. Went in for lunch with my husband and in-laws and we all loved we ordered. I had the grilled chicken sandwhich. Was the best meal I had in a long time. There was no wait for a table on a Saturday afternoon and food was quickly delivered. Service was good. Really nice little spot.

Very good food has a smokey flavor to it

Despite a hungry pack of kids ready to eat anything after a long day of skiing, the food was bland and unremarkable. The decor was disjointed and unclean. There was only one server for the whole restaurant who was kind, but seemed unaware of how to respond to basic requests. The service was also very slow.

Lets start off by I was at the bar and it took me 10 to 15 minutes to get a beer the chicken wings were fried to Id say bare minimum legal consumption somewhat on the rare side I say they put hot sauce in their garlic parm Wings which makes no sense and they only gave me 9 of the 10 wings lets just say that was my first and last time going there and they never asked me if I wanted another beer once the first one was gone until I was done with everything by then I was done with them

Our first visit here. Unassuming but comfortable with warm lighting and friendly, attentive service. Good for conversation. Our entrees were great. As other reviewers note, more complex than youd expect at this discreet spot. My cheese ravioli had shrimp & scallops accompanying a light, cream red sauce. The sauce was better than expected for this type of dish. Look forward to our next visit.

We had the fried chicken sandwich and it was FANTASTIC! The bartender was the only wait staff person handling 2 rooms and she did so effortlessly! Never got flustered and our tea never ran out! Quaint city and definitely worth stopping in and enjoying the food and the city!

Rather bland menu. Nice cosy environment and offers some vegetarian options. There are few local options and this is one of them. Homemade tortilla chips was nice. Full bar available. Chatham grill offers take out. Warm and packaged nicely.
