I went in at 10:30 and I was bullied Out by customers and bartender. If they close at 10:00 they should just say on website. I called the police because when I was leaving I was almost hit by another custome. Unbelievable. Don t go here. Food : 1/5

Great roast brussel sprouts

The food that we got (fried scallops) were great, but the butter toffee cake that we got for dessert was DIVINE. That was the best dessert I have ever had. Vegetarian options: A lot of veggie burgers.

Good food , moderate prices..

We are frequent customers, until today. Your restaurant is listed as dog friendly so we brought our dog with us today. We were sat outside and two minutes later, our waitress told us we could not be served. We left and will never return. There are other restaurants in town that allow dogs. Macs Fish, Squire, Dogfish Cantina.

I had a great meal at the Red Nun in Chatham. The new rice bowls were great! Service was great as well -- especially the busspersona Lucas! We had a quick chat and what an impressive young man! Ill be back!

Apparently they re too busy for the locals that keep the place running year round. If you don t want to deal with takeout orders then don t accept takeout orders YEAR ROUND.

The Nun is always a warm place to enjoy a beer with friends!

Kinda small, but friendly service. We had to sit outside because the bar was packed. People were smoking in our face, which is their right to do, but it didnt help the atmosphere. Decent beer and liquor selection though.

Service was very good and when I informed the server I was unhappy with the scallops she deducted 50% of the cost That said I was quite disappointed with the scallops which seemed overcooked and seemed to not be day boat scallops since they had a funny aftertaste like they came from a tub. My wife had clams and there were lots of small pieces I would give the service a 5 but the food a 2 Sorry Red Nun, we won t be returning

Food was great. It was a nice atmosphere and the kids loved coloring on the paper on the table. It was reasonably priced and Matt was on top of it. Overall, great experience.

If your in the area its hard to go wrong if you go to the red nun. Theres stools pulled up right to the bar, there are four or five tvs with various sporting events going on and despite my worry as we walked in it manages to not prevent conversation and instead ends up acting as a privacy screen. Our service was attentive polite and friendly, unironically one of the best servers i have ever had at any resteraunt ever. The food was also delicious. The pulled pork is to die for and the fries were fluffy and fresh from the fryer. Once again I really cant reccomend this spot enough!

They rejected us cause we are black way to ruin our honeymoon.

I had only been here for drinks at night, but its a solid lunch spot as well. I got the burger and onion rings and they were perfectly cooked. Their beer menu is impressive, with Fiddlehead, Maine Beer Company, and other great brewers on draft. Service was great as well, both at the high top and at the bar.

We had an all-around good experience, the food we got was excellent. The fish and chips were cooked perfectly along with the fresh cut French fries. Definitely recommend.

Im thankful the Red Nun was open and bussin when Wild Goose turned us away because of some wind. Food was amazing. Seated quickly, good prices and quality. We really enjoyed our dinner and will be back!

First time. My husband enjoyed his fish tacos very much, with fresh salsa and homemade tortilla chips. I ordered the Caesar Salad, which is made with Kale. (Which I like) Asked in advance if it was the baby leaves since big leaf kale is super tough and waitress thought it was so I ordered. Unfortunately received huge bowl of thinly shredded, big-regular leaf Kale.Very unappealing - shredded super thin ( as in wouldn t stay on fork) and bitter. Dressings good, steak tips good. Server very sweet when I asked to get mixed greens. Given that two of four salad items are with kale May be good to know. May sound minor but my seltzer had 2 lime wedges - one brown. My hunch is for burgers, wings and a beer etc it would be a good place. It is a small, casual local bar vibe that is great for that.

Its you local and steadfast local bar restaurant. Got the locals this time of year where summer you might find it hard to get a spot. Wife had nachos which the beans seemed to be all on the bottom and hard to get all the fixings on the chip. My fish tacos were full with a good chunk of fish!!! Food

Loved everything about this place. Friendly, accommodating staff, excellent food and drink. Took my 95 year old mother for lunch. She is on a walker. Bartender came around and welcomed us and held the door. Went above and beyond to find appropriate seating for her needs. Wait staff was great. Food was excellent. We had onion rings (best Ive had), fried oysters (tender/delicious), crispy fries, chowder was just right, husbands burger was great. Dessert was a chocolate lava cake that was perfect. Pleasantly surprised at how good this little pub was! Highly recommend. And you dont often see staff as good as these folks were. Lucky owners!

Nice atmosphere, very friendly staff, the decor was pleasant. Brussle sprouts were actually good; the burger was also good, but still burping truffle fries taste :( I do not want to deter anyone from trying this place because I think I just had a bad experience with the truffle fries that set the tone for my dining experience. However, please check your oil. If it smells funny, it is old and needs to get tossed out. I would try them again but would cringe when asked truffle or regular fries.

A hidden gem! Some of the best clam chowder Ive ever had. The service was excellent and very friendly.

This place was good for lunch. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating is picnic style benches. They were voted best burger recently. Our wait staff was friendly and attentive. They offer great shops in this area as well as icecream. Its a bit of a walk down the strip of the stores but worth the walk. Kid-friendliness: They offer highchairs and crayon with an activity mat.

Fun spot with the locals. Went there to watch a football game and the owner had my home teams game put on the TV right in front of me. Now thats service! Great burger too.

We were in town for two days and came here three separate times! We loved the bar, the bartenders, and the other customers! Sweet potato fries were awesome and they have $2.50 Miller high life on draft (equaling a VERY happy husband!)

WATCH YOUR BILL!! we went here because of the great reviews. end result, bad food, not received what was delivered and they had the attitude of upping the tip by $10 hoping I would never catch it. 3 days later I got a call back that it was refunded and it be done. we were kind enough to leave at least a tip for the items that were brought that we didnt order (eg chili without cheese for btw $6) but apparently it is not good enough. you think there is customer service? nah, they just charge you another amount. I reported them to the police for theft. and they saw it as a threat. good luck on folks going there, we for sure certainly wont

super long wait , waitress gave us food and left asap came back once 45 mins later to refill drinks , pretty annoying , the food was good though, good nachos, just annoying af but tbh not even her fault, they probably dont have enough workers, but im still taking a star because i was miffed by how long the wait was for literally everything.

Bloody Mary could use a little bit of work tho. Needs to be spicier. Turtle cheesecake was good. Server was very nice. Nice atmosphere. The parking lot definitely needs some lights.

Tiny place indoors but ample outdoor seating. Food was fast and tasty (nachos superb), service really friendly and comfortable, and order was fully correct despite a handful of modifications. Burgers were EVER so slightly overlooked but barely so and still delicious, so Id say if you mean actually medium rare probably order rare. Nice experience!

Awesome burgers and salads. Good selection of beers on tap. Inside appears to be more of a bar setup but tent setup outside for picnic tables. Plenty of parking. Right next to veterans stadium where the Chatham Anglers (Cape Cod Baseball league) play. There is a small playground on the other side of the ballfield forty-one with little kids.

Nice little spot! Really good baked scallops and onion rings. Staff were friendly and welcoming during a busy time. Inside the bar and deck area has a really cool atmosphere plus there is outdoor patio seating.

Had dinner tonight and it was great nachos with chili also one to go my burger was excellent the ser ice is above excellent. My waitress Alex was awsome thanks all

The food was frozen, the fish and chips had no flavor no salt, fries tasted old and had a Brussels sprout appetizer that was flavorless, soggy gross. Never will go in there again.

A very small, cozy bar/pub atmosphere. Our server was very friendly, helpful and attentive. I rated it 5 stars for the alcoholic beverages and service. I had the Buzz on the rocks...so delicious if you like coffee milkshakes, and would go great w a burger and fries. I would definitely get it again! My husband liked his also, but not for my taste. Dont remember the name, but it had bourbon, triple sec, and cranberry juice plus a couple other ingredients. We didnt have any food but heard the nachos are very popular. Will definitely return!

Convenient to down town Chatham and plenty of outside eating options. Food is good and drinks were fun with a great selection.

Nice quaint little restaurant with great food. Prices are a little high but not terrible.

Went for dinner on a week night. The outside is set up nicely - 8 picnic tables spaced pretty far apart. 6 are under a huge covering while the last 2 have umbrellas. Theres also some smaller tables on the small front deck. Service was friendly. Menus are currently accessible through QR codes that can be found at each table, which I personally think is both the safest and smartest way of providing menus during covid. I just wish the drinks list also contained beer and wine lists. I ordered the fish tacos. They were just ok. Too much slaw and fixins and not enough fish. It also lacked salt. I will say, though, that the fish was fried nicely and the lime crema on top was really tasty and probably the best part. My girlfriend ordered the Thai inspired burger with the vegetarian patty, which she really enjoyed. I tried it and it was very good - the patty itself had an interesting curry/garam masala note to it; just very flavorful in general. Also, the sweet potato fries that she got with the burger are addictive - pretty perfect in both texture and flavor. Overall, I wasnt impressed with what I ordered - it wasnt bad by any means - but everyone else I was with enjoyed their meals. Next time Im craving a burger and fries, the Nun is definitely going to be a consideration.

Outdoor & takeaway dining during COVID times. Tasty cocktails, good, if slightly unwieldy burger (huge), and polite service. Family friendly, but if youre eating outside with young children, the driveway is busy & its on the side of Rte. 28, so keep an eye on them. Reasonable prices for Chatham. Good for lunch & dinner!

First time at Red Nun, was in the area for work and forgot lunch. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and was very surprised at how huge and amazing it was! If you order the pulled pork sandwich I hope you are as hungry as I was or you probably wont finish it!

Our family had dinner take-out from the Red Nun-Chatham 5 times while on vacation last week. The portions were generous, the food quality was consistently fresh and satisfying, the pick-up process was spot-on, and the menu offerings provided a wide variety of choices. Especially noteworthy are the clam chowder, brussels sprouts, dinner salads and of course the fish & chips!

Really good. Ample portions, great burgers, onion rings, cole slaw, it was all well done. For basic tavern food you wont go wrong here.

Great service in a casual, relaxed environment. A bit pricey and wish there were more organic and healthful options on the menu, though I got the impression theyd make accommodations if you ask. Love the local history lesson when I inquired about a framed map on the wall. I felt very safe in this COVID-respecting eaterie.
