We had terrible service. Took forty five minutes to get a table when they had said 20. When we were seated, we waited 15 minutes before getting acknowledged. Had to ask for water three times. We had to wave down the waiter whenever we needed drinks or our check. We felt deemed as unimportant to the staff. Extremely disappointed.
Hidden gem of the resort with incredible food, we enjoyed multiple dishes and were impressed with every one. Especially the lobster corn dogs - w o w. Service was attentive and quick, and the prices are hard to beat. Coming from NYC we were thrilled to find food this good!
We loveddddd our dinner at Sacred Cod!! We went two nights in a row, the food is great and fresh. Our server Denitsa was amazing and so attentive we fully recommend!
Wonderful experience at this restaurant. Great selections. Servers, hosts, and staff were extremely helpful. Loved the fresh seafood. Lobster & Lamache was a fresh pasta dish that was the best! And I highly recommend the stuffed clams.
Most expensive tavern I have ever visited but exceptional dining with great service. There are no views from this location of the cape cod coast but a nice spot for an evening meal. Be sure to order the clam chowder.
Great service, awful food. Ordered the bread for $9, it was just old bread heated for you in under 2 min, basically blackened cranberry bread. Ok, happens. So we ordered the lobster tacos next. They weren't bad, the avocado dressing was bland but it wasn't the star of the dish. Moving onto the entrees, we ordered the roasted eggplant and the beef cheek. The beef was bad, and I mean really bad. It was dry aged and then cooked with so.much.salt.. the eggplant was passable. I don't really know what's so great about this place. We'll pass this place, even as guests of the inn. Go here, only if you're desperate without other options.
Located in a 109 year hotel on the water near Chatham, Massachusetts, the restaurant was warm and very comfortable. Varied menu and beverages. Food was excellent. The service from every member of the staff was equal to the best I have experienced. The Restaurant Manager was an involved member of the service staff...no chore to menial. Will definitely go back on our next trip to the Cape.
The food and drink are paletely pleasing. The views are amazing as well as the service!
Nice bar, good food.
Very nice.
Carol and I stay at CBI a couple of times a year. Covid. As it did to a lot of peoples plans..put a damper on things for a year. But we finally went back recently and everything was as great as ever. From the friendly greeting at the reservation desk ( we didnt need them this time of year) to our waitress to the person who brought the food out. All very pleasant..courteous..friendly conversations.. I started with the salad. Oh my...the Suze was a meal in itself. All fresh cut greens with other assortments and the dressing topping? Probably the best Ive tasted...anywhere. Then a short time later, our food arrived. I ordered...oh boy.. its been a few weeks..the pit roast?? The taste was out of thus world. Cooked just right. And you didnt even need a knife....with it came mashed potatoes and another side. My deepest apologies. Im writing this review about a month after our visit. And the topping over the pot roast....ohhh myyyyy. The icing on the cake. Great, relaxed atmosphere...quiet...couldnt have asked for a better evening. Oh BTW. I have a photo shoot Im doing in Chatham mid March. Weve already reserved our room and depending what dining area is open. Well definitely have dinner at either their beautiful Stars dining room or the the Tavern. Ten stars CBI.....see you in March..
Great atmosphere. The service was outstanding. I had the pork chop and it was melt in your mouth delicious.
Stopped by for some drinks after dinner at Stars. Special Thank You to Sir Paul! He knows exactly how to treat his clientele!
Very consistent food and always a pleasure to visit!
Food mediocre. Service and staff great.
Highly recommend ..excellent food. Staff very attentive
Fantastic experience. Thank you to the Chefs and staff!
Nice place....service not really what you would expect for the price
Staff was amazing. Food was great. Highly recommend.
Exquisite stay, enjoy the rooms, dinning, bar. Staff very professional, friendly and attentive
I was expecting much more out of this place. We have ordered multiple dishes and maybe 30% out of it was good. All of the deep fired items were done with the old oil and had been bitter. Small pizza is $23 and nothing special. We have complained to the waiter and non of it was taken out of the bill even though some of the plates were not touched. Disappointed!!
Food was overall good. Host was very pleasant but waitstaff was very much inattentive. Had to wait for drinks, flag done other staff for service, only to be told they would find our waitress.. food runner came out and never saw the waitress again until the check. Had to ask the host for another drink. Too bad it had great potential for such a beautiful place especially on a relatively quiet Sunday evening. Poor service overall.
Everyone was nice from the greeters to the waitresses. Food was excellent. We got the steak and I got the chicken with squash risotto so so good! Food is pretty pricey but we only splurge once in awhile and its a very nice place.
very good crake cake and lobster roll
The food, decor, and most importantly the service here was outstanding!
Food is just okay. Service is lovely.
Came to this location for late night drinks and it was relatively crowded bar scene, as snooty as they come due to the clientele of course but to run out of martini glasses, come on people. I mean we paid an arm and a leg for the drinks to begin with and they werent that great anyway, but to put them in a bourbon glass is a crime. Staff here was a bit rude and definitely not on top of their game nor did they look like they knew what they were doing or how to manage the crowd on a Friday night. Nice enough place but not somewhere I would go out of my way to come for a drink.
Very high quality
Great cozy restaurant with excellent food
Awful, slow service and grossly overpriced for mediocre food. Manager was unhelpful and unfriendly. Went as a family figuring it was the easy option given we were staying at the hotel - but it was anything but.
Needs a re-do.
Brisk night on the front deck. Great Apps and a great view.
Excellent food and unique, fresh drinks! Highly recommended
Love the drinks and apps
Classy venue
This place is definitely not recommend!!! The food here is really bad and the attitude of manager is terrible!!! One word : awful The restaurant repels me!!!
