Great food but the portions are way too small for the price. The scoops should be scoops not pinches of food. Once they have fixed that the place is five star worthy.
We came in breakfast burritos this morning (9/15). While handing the mid-twenties male cashier cash for our transaction, a $50 bill & a $10 bill, we witnessed him crumpling up the $50 bill in his hand and place it in his pocket. Although our breakfast burritos were wonderful; it was unfortunate to experience such disrespect at a small, locally owned establishment. We hope sharing this brings awareness to management/owners that this employee is dishonest and not fit for his position.
Ordered breakfast burritos. I liked how customizable they were. However, they are small and pricey. 3 breakfast burritos were over $30. We had breakfast burritos in another location which had an option for a jam sauce, which is something that is needed here!
Anyone who was around for the glory days of this place knows how far it has fallen. What was once an awesome local spot with good priced delicious food and sizable portions has become a shell of its former self. It feels like the owners got too ambitious with opening the Orleans store and stretched their resources too thin. I remember when this place was open later than 2pm and the burritos weren’t $20 for a portion that is no bigger than my outstretched hand. Despite the quality of the food remaining consistent, what was once a fine local establishment has now become an overpriced tourist trap.
I’ve been coming to the corner store for years because of their good burritos. This was the turning point for me. I ordered two burritos and the total came out to 37 dollars. You would think that these would be huge, but it’s actually the opposite. The workers are scooping the meat like it is coming out of their paycheck. Two little pieces of chicken were put in, and when I asked for more got a small slice extra and was charged almost 4 extra dollars. This place is a rip off, the portions were a joke. Don’t come here unless you don’t care about the prices or food portions, and this is coming from a 19 year old not an old person who complains all day. 🙏
Great GLUTEN FREE burritos $20ish and breakfast burrito $14ish. They take care with gluten and have separate prep plates and use safe measures heating up the wraps. Very good. A must try for breakfast or take to the beach. Not much room to eat on site. But plenty of parks and beaches in the area. If you order online call after and inform them it's for an allergy so they use safe practices. When I call to confirm I get a separate bag and maked gf. The one time I called and they didn't answer it was all mixed in the same bag and not marked. Jalapenos add a good spice to any meal. Give it a kick
What a great spot. I was over at Forest Beach and got a little hungry the idea of a hot sandwich just sounded great. I zipped over to the Corner Store and got a Turkey Panini that was ready really fast. Got to go back to the beach and have a great sandwich and enjoy the water view. Just a word of caution. Be very carefull at the intersection out front I have accidents there before. Great way to make your day at the beach complete.
This place is lots of fun and the burritos are delicious. The panini are great too. I have the specials page bookmarked for here and the Corner Store in Orleans so we can plan our visit. The buffalo chicken is good but the Jamaican jerk pork is worth a special trip. There are only a couple of stools inside and few places to sit outside on the porch but it always works out.
Good food, portions wayy too small for the price. Like 2oz of chicken in a burrito for $20? Thats insane.

Everything was top flight; delicious beef, veggies, overall flavor and texture. Maybe the best, or tied with best ever. No restrooms, takeout only Food
Came in with a big group at 10:50am when breakfast stops at 11am but we were all served delicious burritos and Steve even came out to chat with us and give us recommendations on what to do with our stay! Amazing food and a great start to the day, a must-go if you re nearby!

I had breakfast burrito, 2 large coffees, $16.50. Service was quick friendly and burrito was perfect. They even opened early so we didnt even need to sit in the car like dolts.
My family has owned a cottage in Chatham, Cape Cod for over 10 years, and my recent experience at the corner store was absolutely unpleasant. As a person of color, I faced multiple uncomfortable interactions on two separate occasions, which was completely disappointing and unprofessional. The customer service was abysmal, and the burritos I purchased were both skimpy for an exorbitant price. On my first visit, the cashier was incredibly rude, speaking to me in a demeaning and disrespectful manner that left me feeling humiliated. Adding to my experience, when Lisa prepared our burritos on our second visit, she intentionally removed bacon (that a male employee had initially) placed on them, leaving only skimpy pieces. Observing this was truly displeasing, especially considering that another customer in front of us (of a different race) was generously served a much larger portion by Lisa. Such treatment is unacceptable, and its disheartening to witness such blatant inequality. As a person of color, I had an unpleasant and upsetting time at this establishment. I hope they take immediate and serious steps to address these issues to create a welcoming and fair environment for ALL customers. Discrimination and poor treatment should never be tolerated; overall, improvements are needed to ensure a better experience for everyone who visits the CORNER STORE.

Way over priced!!!! It s a burrito
Fabulous good and great staff at this really authentic eatery. They use only the freshest ingredients, all prepared on site. There is no industrialised agro rubbish here. Only really top quality produce. We had the special of the day and a mixed meat (plenty for you vegans out there as well if you like). The sloppy joe ground beef is a bit sweet and worked well with the other ingredients and rhe hot sauce. Im coming back tomorrow :)) Parking: About 10 free spaces Kid-friendliness: They love kids

Everything from breakfast burritos to lunch sammies are so good. Parking can be tight so be caution backing into traffic. Highly recommend moble ordering because line out the door in summer.

I grew up in Harwich with this staple just down the road. Moved to NYC 12 years ago but still come to visit my mom often. My wife and I agree (joking but not joking) the best part of coming to the cape is getting corner store. The biggest disappointment in coming to cape cod is now the Corner Store closes at 2pm. Not sure the business logic behind closing such a popular busy amazing place before some folks even eat lunch (let alone everyone I know wishing for burritos for dinner), but from the consumer perspective, its very disappointing seeing the Corner Store going downhill. The food is delicious as always. The worst part- most burrito places (outside of the cape cod bubble) realize their market and that customers want burritos for lunch and dinner, thus stay open until 9-10pm. Yet they dont even compare to the Corner Store. I hope management reconsiders their hours.

Amazing burritos
The food is good but anyone with food allergies or celiac disease should not go here. Not only are the young staff making the burritos not trained on how to handle food properly to avoid cross contamination, but the entire burrito making process is cross contaminated to begin with. This was my experience: I told the young person at the counter that I have a wheat allergy and asked them to change their gloves. He refused to change their gloves until I told them what type of burrito wrap I wanted. If theyd listened or been trained, theyd know that a bowl would be my only option because of the wheat allergy. As I watched the process I saw that they used gloved hands to pick up ingredients from the containers after touching the burrito wraps and used the same gloves for all customers.
SO.GOOD. We love stopping at the Corner Store when in the area. Love the create your own burrito or burrito bowl option. They have fresh ingredients to add to your burrito. They even have a gluten free burrito shell. The Whoopie pies are a must get even if you have to save it for later! Staff is friendly, and highly recommend if youre in a rush to order ahead online.
Delicious breakfast burritos, excellent choice of Munch Burritos
Ate here at 7/10/2022 around 330pm. Daughter got a sloppy joe burrito, wife and I got the steak burrito. Then for the night we cooked at camp and ate the same thing. The next day daughter got food poisoning, vomiting, cramps, fever. We think it was from the Sloppy Joe. I am posting this in the event others who ate there had similar exp can see this. We wont be returning.

Line was long when my wife and I got there but the wait was less than 10 minutes and we were out the door with our food. Food was really good and I couldnt finish it all but saved it for a delicious midnight snack! Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian or vegan options! Parking: Parking can be tight so definitely carpool if possible, or better yet, ride your bike!
I just got my Google memory pictures from 6 years ago yesterday. And this picture came up of me getting my 1st Burrito from the Corner Store. It was delicious, but also a coincidence because I also got my monthly Google maps list of destinations and I was at the Corner store yesterday for the 2nd time. It still was delicious. I think I even got the same thing. Lol

Tons of options here whether you re gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian or what-have-you, you ll be able to get something tasty. And, there s no extra charge for almond milk in your coffee! I truly can t say enough good things about this place, going here always sets me up for a good day.

This is an edit from 7 years ago I guess? I gave this The Corner Store five stars in my first review and 5 stars currently. I m writing this during the Covid Pandemic. A lot of business are feeling frustrated because of government rules and b.s. I ve been to a few places where change and pressure becomes the ultimate test of a businesses success. With that been said; Aside from the amazing, Cape Cod burritos- ( it truly is one of the best places on Cape to get a quick-to-go breakfast, lunch or dinner) the customer service here has always been great before covid and now. (I ve heard the same from others around town too) Today, I was served by Matt. The reason why The Corner Store is so successful is because of the employees like, Matt. Great customer service is a reflection of an employees pride- caring about your job and your customers. Thanks for reading.

Tried to go there for food and was just directed to the sign on the front porch to order online. Sitting in the parking lot, 15 feet from the front door, we tried to place an order. We just gave up after the order disappeared twice from the App before checkout. Figure it out guys.

Extremely impressed, I live in a place with a high Hispanic population, I have high requirements and I am very picky when I comes to Burritos or Hispanic food. Hands down this is one of the best burritos Ive ever had, steak was amazing. I highly recommend this place, my cousin loves the coffee. I will definitely come back. Great local shop. They do lunch and breakfast sandwiches but I was there for breakfast. They have an option of burritos or bowls. Setup is like a sandwich shop with a bar where you can ask for whatever you want included. They do have a few pastries/cookies and a selection of local coffee.

Food is good but they are so rude. When you call to place an order over the phone they answer and hang up on you. If they are too busy to answer they can have a message that says they arent taking online orders at the moment. Instead they treat customers like they are a nuisance by letting it ring then just hanging up. So rude.

Never, ever disappointed! Staff is amazing and food is delicious and FRESH! I always build my own VEGAN bowl and there s plenty to choose from. I m not sure what they do to the eggplant, but it melts in your mouth and delicious! Like every restaurant in the country, suffering from lack of staff hours have been cut back Wednesday-Sunday 8AM- 2PM that 2PM closing is a tough one but hopefully things will improve for next year!

So good! We got there about thirty minutes before they closed and there was a line out the door. When we left there was still a line out the door and for good reason. We brought our food to the beach and ate every bite it was so good. Definitely would recommend for some yummy burritos

The Corner store has something for everyone. . . From gluten free to whatever diet. Each person puts together their own plate or wrap. Food is fresh and made in front of you to order deli style. There are several varieties of whoopee pies for desert.

I have been getting takeout burritos during this quarantining and they have done a great job! So happy that they can stay open during this time! My favorite is their buffalo chicken/Mac and cheese burrito special. Please make this an every day combo... I live for it!
Beyond being overpriced, they dont even let customers know when the store is closed unexpectedly due to maintenance or construction, instead making visitors drive all the way there before discovering they arent open. Maybe have message on your phone or website before wasting peoples time

Ruined Chipotle for me forever. Because of this I contemplated giving one star but the pork burrito was phenomenal, if your in the area this is the way.
Delicious breakfast burritos. Staff popped out several times to help people with ordering and to check on who was present for pick-up.
Very small, too expensive. I just paid for burrito 16.32$ with extra meat that barely had 4 pieces of meat and was too small !!! After eating it I had to go and buy some food to not stay hungry!

You have to call and place an online order to get coffee. I get health and safety protocols but that s ridiculous. If you are looking for a quick place to stop in for a coffee don t go here, too many steps in a normally simple process.
Super frustrating experience. I went to shop to ask questions about the menu given dietary concerns I have. Answered my questions, decided to order. Wait was listed as 59 minutes. I asked the staff a out it and they were not able to accommodate a wait time that acceptable, so I left and bought no food. Orders are online only, so must have smartphone.
Breakfast ordering online was easy and the breakfast wraps and coffee were outstanding.
Ordered 3 different meals - burrito, bowl and salad. Everything was yummy and fresh. Placed our order online and told 20 minutes. 30 minutes later it was ready. Appreciate the effort for safety during COVID. Not from the area, but would love to order from here again!
Best burritos on the cape by far. Ordering app was a bit challenging but now that we have it installed and set up it should be a breeze to order for outdoor pickup and snag some doggie treats for Buddy.

Food was a 6.5 on a 10 point scale. Service was great and workers very friendly. They said 20 wait. Our order was ready in less than 15.

$9 for a breakfast burrito smaller than a hot dog. Lol. Any taqueria in California would put this place out of business in a week. I guess they make good burritos for people who dont like actual Mexican food. I have heard that it has gone drastically downhill since the ownership change. The staff was very pleasant.
