I'm absolutely obsessed with this chicken shop! The service is always top-notch, and the staff are friendly and attentive. But the real star of the show is the food. The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. The shop is also spotlessly clean, which is a huge plus. I've been back multiple times and will continue to do so. If you're a chicken lover like me, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
Horrible Customer Service Despite Good Food and Ambience. I ordered from Chicken Cottage on October 2nd around 10:30 PM and the food and ambience were both enjoyable. Unfortunately, the customer service experience was a major disappointment. The staff member I interacted with was extremely rude. When I inquired about the quantity of the food, I was met with a sarcastic response: "Do you want the whole shop for the price?" This kind of behavior is unacceptable and completely ruined my dining experience. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone solely based on the staff's attitude.

I ordered a few times on deliveroo but always have to call them to tell them what drinks to add because there's no options for drinks.on certain meals deals it's really annoying I told them every time to get fixed and they just sya yeh, manners on phone ain't great! And they still haven't corrected it no drink option. First time I ordered was like 4 months ago and last time I ordered was 1 month ago
The gentleman behind the counter is so rude and abrupt. You have to explain something to him 2/3 times and doesn’t understand you. I’ve never been to a chicken shop that doesn’t allow you to chose your chicken pieces. If he had spoken nicely it wouldn’t have been so bad but he was so abrupt and rude.
Very good food, a charming lady at the counter is taking your order, the food takes a while to come, probably slightly longer than average, but it is worth the weight, everything is served steaming hot and is really really tasty, probably the best chicken I've eaten. I recommend everything, but the chicken strips are a steal + you get endless mayo! Good french fries too, I really enjoyed this place.
Ordered on just eat for collection, came at the time advised however didn’t give the food till 15 minutes after, also didn’t have drink cups :/ so gave a big bottle instead.. also the lady was quite moody who served, not very good customer service. In terms of the food I ordered mountain burger meal (picture attached) other family members got, beef burger normal chicken burger, and popcorn bites on the sides no complaints with the food.

Halal food with haram practices. They slipped in a couple of wings instead of chicken pieces, which reflects dishonesty of this particular shop. Ive bought from other chicken cottages and never had that experience. Very disappointing.
Have ordered 3 or 4 times for pickup on there website which gives me 45 minutes to cone after 45 always went there after 50 minutes but never got my order after waiting for 15 minutes got my order
This is the driest food you could possible ever have from a chicken shop .. it s awful customer service is awful .. I took one bite of the chicken and couldn t eat anymore weirdly enough smelt it after didn t smell too good either .. two meals brought for me and a friend both couldn t even eat not even the chips was nice not cooked properly and and plain and dry . Save your money !! All I. All was disgusting not like how it was when it first opened before covid .. it s rotten

Ordered takeaway. Burgers were OK. Spicy wings were not very spicy and very salty. Fries were limp and cold.

Perfect chicken place for those who eat Halal (and even those who dont)! We ordered 3pc chicken which was juicy and fresh, and we got to choose which pieces we wanted. We also got two wraps, grilled chicken and tangy salsa, both of which were brilliant in both taste and quantity. All three items were meals with fries and a drink and cost about £6 per person, give or take 50p. Had to wait a bit, about 10 minutes I think, but it was worth it for fresh hot chicken and crispy fries!

Tastes good with decent portion sizes
There were items missing from my order, when I called the restaurant to complain, they werent interested and told me I wasnt missing anything despite the fact I was reading the menu to them at the time. The man continued to argue then hung up the phone on me! The issue wasnt resolved, food was cold and very poor customer service. Very disappointing as Ive ordered from here before without issue.
Women serving was rude. Checked her phone 3 times before taking order then again whilst taking order. Had to actually ask if serving in empty store. Then wished I went to KFC after for chicken.

Please don t eat at this place. The staff women is rude and the person cooking at the back is not wearing gloves or a mask but rudely says that she won t serve us and then we came back with a mask kindly and we found our she s serving others without mask and when we told her that it s wrong and that her chef isn t wearing mask she replied with I don t care This place is spreading covid for sure. Please some one send a food and hygiene officer to this pace. Save your self and others by listing to the gov and wear a mask.

My partner bought me bbq chicken wings for dinner, I am intolerant to dairy and soya so he asked them first if they were in the ingredients. They informed him there was no soya or dairy and so he bought them for me. They 100% lied! Within an hour of eating them I was in agony with my stomach and was up all night in pain! Do not go to them if you have any allergies or intolerances because they will lie to your face

Would never have tried here if it wasnt on Uber eats, good job it is! Food is great, not greasy etc and you get all the extras (mayo, ketchup, salt, pepper & wipes) with the delivery. Portions are good and the price is cheaper than what you get from comparable places. Opens and delivers earlier than some other places also so perfect for lunch, will keep using.

Many chooses, great food
Great food, Ive been to this place multiple times. The food arrives hot and is delicious, the drinks are adiquate too. The negative star is due to two things: wait time being quite long, and also due to the tables not being bolted down. This means large families come in, drag the tables to each other and leave it there when they leave. This makes finding seating difficult.
Halal eating place
Walked in and staff ignored me. Then they took pictures of themselves. To busy to take my order. One picture is fine but several others? NOT acceptable while Im standing there. Ended up leaving. On the way out one of the polish (with an accent) staff members said GO ON LEAVE TWICE. Absolutely disgusting service. I will take my £20 some where members of staff arent that horrible. Aviod at all costs!! Stick to something else. Waste of time!! Even lucky to get 1 star. To sum up unacceptable service.
Recently opened very tasty good value for money will return enjoyable

We tried to order on just eat, waited 2 hours, confirmed our phone number (twice) with the restaurant direct and apparently the driver couldn t either call or find our building with one door! Just eat and Chicken Cottage pointed the finger at each other for blame and equally as useless! DONT ORDER! DONT RISK IT!

The food was delicious and good quality, I tried their chicken and chips deal £2.99 for 2 pieces. They have alot of options from burger, wraps, fried chicken and grilled chicken. They have a nice seating area as well to sit compared to other places in the Chatham high street.
