Nice hot food nice place with good price

Chip gravy had a lot of salt and i did not enjoy my food

Unfortunately, when I arrived at the store at about 8:20 on a Monday night, I was told that it was about to close.

Been going here for 20 years and its always been nice and welcoming. Lovely food. Ive added this to the review but after now going there for 25 years Ive stopped going as they want you to pay a deposit in cash so you have to go there, they wont take a card payment. So due to this I will no longer be going there.

Great food. Service can take really long towards the end of the week and weekends. Not much atmosphere, no music and waitresses not very talkative. Dietary restrictions: Does not cater dietary restrictions.

If you want to re-visit the late 70s/early 80s for some nostalgia then definitely eat here. Zero investment in the premises. Food is sub-standard at best. Service was quick though but your food temperature falls rapidly as the restaurant is freezing cold. Dont dare ask for the heating to be put on as youll be met with a stern look & a rapid shut down response. 100% would not recommend or re-visit.

We absolutely love Tangs. Have been a fair few times as a couple or as a family group for special occasions. Food is always lovely and fresh and hot. The bbq ribs are a favourite, the peppercorn king prawns are lovely too. We try to add a new dish to try each time too, you cant really go wrong.

Been going here for over 15 years. Have introduced over 60 different people over that time. Still our favourite Chinese restaurant. Food

Lovely dining experience with my family. The restaurant is exactly like the pictures, the tables all have a good space between them and the windows bring in a lot of natural light. The food we had here was fantastic. The all you can eat menu is very good with a restriction on how many dishes you can order each time (something like 4 dishes for 2 people, 5 for 3, 6 for 4-5 etc.). All of the dishes are small but come out at the same time. Once eaten you can order everything again if you want and it all comes out fresh and hot. Perfect! We ordered most of the appetizers and everything was delicious. Not a single dish we left. The pork dumplings were one of my favourites but there were so many it was hard to pick! The food is mainly served sharing style, so that everyone can have a try. The service was pretty good, we had to flag someone down a few times but it was quite busy so that isnt a problem. The bathroom is upstairs, which may make it harder to visit for some people. Parking can be a little tricky. There is on street parking outside but it fills up quickly. There is a carpark around a 5 minute walk away. Overall it is a lovely restaurant and I can see why everyone raves about it!

Tangs is a very clean well run restaurant. The staff are always on hand and make sure you have everything you need. I would suggest booking as it gets very busy very quickly . The menu options are incredible with plenty to choose from. The quality of the food is fantastic and I would definitely recommend a visit. Easily one of the best all you can eat restaurants around.

Fantastic service, lovely friendly and attentive staff, great selection of food, all the food was piping hot! Nothing was too much trouble. We had a table of 8 and we started off by ordering 9 different starters which we promptly demolished, we were swiftly asked if we required more in which we then ordered another 6 different starters, then cane the duck course, moist but crispy on the outside, it was simply delicious great selection, wonderful service and piping hot food brought each time. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back, thankyou fir the hospitality

So I love this place and it bothers me also. So, the quality of the food is fantastic, and I love the selection. However, the limit of number of plates you can order and the portions of the plate is too little on both counts. The portion sizes are perfect if youre allowed, maybe two or three plates per person. However, I always go with family, and we find were waiting longer than were eating. If the portion sizes were larger or as mentioned, more plates could be ordered, then this place would be a lot better. The service does seem a little cold and less personal, but the staff are nice none the less.

Excellent all you can eat local Chinese restaurant. Staff very nice and service always great.

Foods good, however its not good value night out , 1 when ordering a short , it literally comes in a short glass with very small mixer not quality brand and you are charged 80p so £5.20 for a very small G&T. 2 the time they take between each saving is very slow so appetite goes half way through meal. 2yrs on Im now adding to this review the food is as good as anywhere, the 2 waitress are very good and work incredibly hard and recommend to couple of friends and they agreed.

Didnt even get a chance to book a table as was greeted with sheer rudeness! called to check if was all you can eat as stated in all these reviews to be told (and I quote) not all you can eat, not a buffet and fully booked, OK? And then the phone went dead. After that wouldnt recommend to anyone cant believe the manners of some people!

All you can eat buffet is perfect

Came for the first time last night with work friends, right from the start the staff were welcoming and helpful, explained how things worked and brought us drinks while we decided what to start with. The food was so delicious! The smoked chicken was particularly yummy, as was the prawn toast, in fact all the food was nice and hot and cooked to perfection, definitely want to come here again!

Had a great time, the food was very tasty and excellent value for money. Low music volume meant it was a a great place to meet friends to catch up.

Had the all you can eat menu today. Really like the smaller portion sizes of freshly cooked food. The choice of starters was vast and we were offered more once we had finished. Would recommend the squid. But honestly everything was excellent. We moved onto the duck pancakes. Again excellent. After this we just about had room for a main course. The chicken with cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce was very tasty and perfectly cooked. Service was great and I will definitely return.

Rude staff, don t deserve anyones customs. Called to find out how their all you can eat works and was spoken too so rude. This is the second time now, as when we popped in to see if they had tables once I thought they was rude too but thought I d give them a try again. Definitely won t ever be getting my custom!

Ridiculous place. They refused my booking as it was an adult and toddler unfair on me apparently. Offered to pay for 2 adults but the manager still refused.discrimination against single parents who would just like to eat out. I would give less than 1 star if i could for that type of behaviour.

Very rude to my friend

Worst customer service. The waitress has been so rude when we tried to book a place. She says we couldn t wait there for a table as it is not a waiting area. Very rude. Will never visit this place

To the owner - the food is good - but behavior makes the cut - staff are very rude to specific customers depending on their mood this is not what we expect in hospitality service.

Have always found Tangs good food, went last night for 1st time obviously in a while, now new menu and dishes served separately, food even better than ever, especially the king prawn curry and singapore rice, drink prices a bit steep, nearly £6 for a small glass rose, over £4 for a small bottle beer, but enjoyed the night

We have been visiting Tangs for 21 years now and each time the food has always been delicious. Service is always quick. The people serving are lovely, polite and very helpful. The 1 and only down point is their music choice, tonights music was Disney orchestra music lol. Sone authentic Chinese music would be perfect

So busy I could not have a table. But had takeaway instead. Very tasty prawns with spring onion and ginger and fried rice. So cheap and enormous portions. Well worth a visit.

Really, really good. Freshly cooked all you can eat restaurant with a wide choice, particularly of the starters. We had not eaten at Tangs before so had to be coached a bit by our friendly, patient waitress. Highly recommended for quality, quantity and value for money.

Always fresh cooked Chinese food. Cindy is a great hostess and its a firm favourite for friends get togethers. Good house wine and all reasonably priced and cooked fresh on request.

Ive become a regular at Tangs and thoroughly enjoy every single meal from here whether its eating in or taking away. Everything ordered is cooked fresh and is piping hot when served. Travel over 4.1 miles to collect its that good! Staff are friendly and customer service is excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Been here many times and never let down. Food is delicious. You can eat as much as you can handle. Great place to go with friends and family. Nice relaxed environment. Decent wine list. I believe they are a bit more strict now. In the past, you could go back and order more starters but now days, once youve moved onto the main, you can no longer go back if youre still hungry at the end of the evening. Very unlikely youll be hungry but if there are starters you really enjoy, take advantage while you have the chance.

20 of us had our firms Christmas event here and I must say we were well looked after the food just kept coming as did the drinks the staff really seemed like they wanted to be there which makes all the difference and when it came to paying the prices were very reasonable great place for a meal

Since the change in ownership weve never been made to feel more welcome! The staff are amazing and friendly, and the food is always amazing! Ive been dining here for over 12 years and I dont think Ive ever had a bad experience.

Staff are pleasant but the meal I felt was rushed. Not many dishes to choose from for the price you are paying...would be ok if you were intending to go on to another venue and this wasnt the main one. Customer service requires improvement.

There is only a afew times in a persons life that you will feel truly euphoric. The birth of a child. On a wedding day. But there is another. An absoulty fantastic restaurant. With friendly staff amazing food and a reasonable price. I strongly encourage you to try it.
