Dont say an hour for delivery and after the hour it's coming and 20 mins you phone again and still not not here

Absolutely delicious food however I pacifically asked them to deliver at 8 o’clock and doublechecked that it would be 8 o’clock and it turned up at 7 o’clock which was an hour too early and we had to put it in the oven so if you are ordering, make sure that you want it straight away The food is delicious, but unfortunately we wanted it a bit later
First time using and sadly we won’t be using again. Customer service was great but the food wasn’t the best. Quite bland, chips were hard and the chow mein was very dry. Such a shame as it’s so local.
Great chicken chow mein, caters for dietary requirements and friendly staff. The first Chinese we have found to do dairy free foods upon request, highly reccomend.
Just when you think you found a good Chinese and after ordering it tonight from being on a 10hour flight we were so disappointed….the chicken curry was like water and had no flavour…. The special fried rice has hardly any thing in it only found 3 prawns!! And the noodle’s were very sticky!! Definitely won’t be going back there or recommending a friend 😡
After ordering online , I was told my order would be about an hour. After forty five minutes I received a phone call asking what my order was ,this should have had my alarm bells ringing.when my food finally arrived half an hour later than told , I have to say I was terribly disappointed in the quality. Of the meal . Beef was rubbery , black bean sauce was bland. I was supposed to have Chili’s they were non existent. The Golden wok used to be the best Chinese takeaway in the area in the last three months it’s has become the worst. I recommend you pass it by and try elsewhere.

This is my local Chinese takeaway and the food is always excellent. Eventhough it was a busy evening, the phone was constantly ringing while I was there, the service was really quick. They have a list of ingredients that may cause dietary allergies fixed to the wall, but you can always check with the helpful staff

Ready on time. Fabulous food. Chicken Satay was superb. Im very fussy when it comes to a Chinese. Please do not change your chef or recipes. Finally found a great chinese.

Never had a bad takeaway from here and I have been coming for years. Good portion sizes at a reasonable price.
Food was lovely as always but we didn t receive our free prawn crackers which our son loves, such a shame otherwise 5 stars

Ive always have had a lovely meal from golden wok. Fresh hot and a friendly service. I am recommending that people should order from here. Havent had a bad meal yet.
Usually really good.. Repeatedly told woman what we needed.. Yes yes then... no its wrong.. Ordered for a child and we all got food... except the child.. Complained and had to fight for a replacement... Still not here..Really not ok and completely takes away the enjoyment.. Will go elsewhere now... shame as we always support local business... wont risk again..

Hideous, I wish you could give minus black stars. A chow mien made up of gristle & skin, I was already home and couldnt be bothered to traipse back. Never again, the one up the Kestrel shops is far better. AVOID.

Great and very delicious selection for vegetarian/ pescetarian diners. Veggie spring rolls are wonderful. King prawn salt and chilli yum yum. People working there are always so friendly and helpful in accomodating our dirtery needs. Food arrives hot and Im good time, even on a Saturday night
