Was a bit chilly on the day we visited and where we were sat it was a bit cramped .All said and done . On the whole a nice local lunch with friends.. But ....There does seem to be an unpleasant smell,I noticed it last time we visited but this time it seemed worse ? Staff were very pleasant. With drinks we spend £20-30 pp

Fantastic roast beef dinner delivered, plenty of beef,nice size plate and really hot,would order again.

I ordered a meal for 3 people for delivery. When it arrived there was 1 complete meal missing. I called the restaurant and they checked with the kitchen who claimed they had sent out all 3 meals. I assured them it was missing. The lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and hung up. One of the other meals which was steak and kidney pudding was inedible as the pudding was rock hard. The other meal a cottage pie was average. I would not order from this pub or visit their restaurant again due to their rudeness and lack of both cooking and customer service skills. Totally unacceptable.

The takeaway sunday roasts, dont even bother. The beef was like chewing rubber, I nearly broke a tooth on the potatoes they were so hard, it was tasteless, and they charge £15 for that rubbish.

This is the the worst pub food Ive ever experienced. The food was lukewarm when served and I received one chicken skewer as the main part of my meal for £15. Ridiculous.

We found this absolute gem of a place to have a Sunday lunch and we definitely wasn t disappointed, our daughter played outside, made new friends and fed the animals (goats, chickens, bunnies and pigs) and then we sat and had the most beautiful Sunday lunch whilst listing live music. This place is a must visit for any living or visiting the area.

Has so much great potential, good location, plenty of parking, the farm animals and being dog friendly are the perks. They even have a dog menu which is adorable and the reason we chose to come here. Me and my partner had lunch here but the food was really bad. Spent £45 on a pub lunch for two people + some dog treats (burger, chips and coke each) which I wouldnt mind being expensive if it helps cover looking after the animals etc but the food was terrible. I couldnt eat mine. The burger bun was definitely frozen, probably after its expiry date as was very dry and crumbly and everything had zero taste. Maybe we just caught them on an off day but it put us off going back. We arent at all fussy when it comes to food but this was a let down, especially for the price.

Ordered a ploughmans and after waiting ages, it arrived with different things on it to what should have been. The menu said gammon and we had cheap breaded ham. Was told that we almost didnt get the food as they had run out and had to go to the shop. There was also an issue where one of the staff members poured ice on my friend trying to be funny because he didnt understand something. He is disabled with a brain injury but I appreciate you may not know that. Either way, shouldnt be pouring ice over people. Despite planning to stay longer, we left after our food and went elsewhere

Probably the worst meal out we have ever had as a family. 50 minute wait to get Pizza with no tomato sauce, adult pesto pasta that wouldn t feed a child, microwaved lasagne, over cooked chicken strips and chips, undercooked garlic bread (not even sure that made it into the oven), dirty lettuce on burger which was served with 7 over cooked chips. Forgot a portion of chips which came out after we had finished eating and staff were specifically told make it a small portion . To top that all off, a dog walked OUT of the kitchen after we had finished eating. Totally ruined my birthday meal. UNHYGIENIC and you need a new chef. Will never eat here again.

Been coming to this pub for around 8 years now have gone more frequently the past 4/5 years with family. Had my Aunts wake there yesterday as we always took her there. Staff couldn t be more accommodating and Freindly. Have are here many times great food and the buffet done yesterday was amazing couldn t believe how much you got for the price! Since Emma and her family took over in my opinion it s better than it was before. Kelly has been a bar staff for as long as I can remember there and she s always been spot on everytime. Great atmosphere! Well what can I say looking forward to a nice meal out with the other half n it turned out to b highly dissopointing. Place looked a lil grubby in places. Ordered starters came out tacos swimming in a oily juice then ordered pie (chicken n ham), it was like 4 bits of chicken the minutist ham all swimming in what was like a tin of flavourless soup with a rubbery bit inside ( god knows what it was) Told staff n there was nothing they could do, manager was to busy to even talk to us and didnt want to know just basically said tough u have to pay. Disgusting managerial skills as manager couldnt care less. Wont b going here again waste of money

Dont bother with going to this so called restaurant... they say they have animal, they had 1 chicken and a pig that was in a disgusting state the RSPCA should be called on them, full of drinkers and not a family pub at all, the service was non existent only worried about the takeaway orders half the meals never arrived some not at all the kids pizza was a bread role with a cheese topping and arrive after everyone had finished there meal, complained and they did not care, drinks never turned up only intreated in trying to play UB40 on there phones for the drunks at the bar, I dont believe they have a music lisance so need to be reported for this too. This place should be shut down dirty and not family friendly at all.

Just been for a roast dinner with my partner we spent £42 and it was absolutely disgusting I would not recommend at all the food is awful the roast potatoes are not roast they are boiled well barely cooked! The chicken tasted as though it had gone of a been re heated 4 days later I am absolutely appalled at the experience I had DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!

First time eating here. The food was lovely and the staff were very attentive. Great food, good prices, and lots going on. Animals in the back of the pub in the garden kept the kids busy.

Gorgeous meal today with my husband and daughter. First time we had been and very last minute, but very pleased we did! We had the chicken satay skewers on the specials board and the chicken was so tender and the sauce was delicious. Friendly staff too! Will definitely be going back - thank you!

Overall a poor experience here today. Waited forever for a couple sandwiches and a pizza. Chips were oily, milkshake was not particularly cold milk with banana nesquik topped with cream (folks, that s just flavoured milk, not a milkshake, where s the ice cream?); we bought feed for the animals, no sign saying not to feed the pig and it bit my 7-year old who ended up in tears with a swollen finger. Manager was apologetic enough, but still doesn t resolve the issue. This pub has a lot of potential, it s a beautiful old building, but it s run down, dirty, and kitted out with like 90s diner style furniture. I don t plan on returning.

Chips were undercooked, they were inedible. The vegan burger was dry and not because of the vegan patty but because it had mo sauce or even the tomato that was specifically mentioned in the burger meal. I paid £3 for coleslaw that was basically a bowl of milk. It was disgusting. Food : 1/5

Nice pub to take the kids to as they got an outdoor play area and a few animals that you can buy a bag of food from the bar so you can feed them . We went at lunchtime and it was quite busy but the food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Vegetarian options: Good selection of vegetarian and vegan foods Parking: Parking at the front of the pub but extra parking spaces round the back .

We went here yesterday (12th Jan), nicely decorated pub, small inside, but can see its more of a summer pub for families, as it has big outside space and small farm animals. How ever this is all nice and well, how ever this meal for 6 of us came to nearly £200, and has to be said, the platters, nachos and chicken select platters are not worth the price these are marked up as, and to charge for additional toppings on the chill, is a joke as the costing is to much even in a recession, as for the chicken platter, it arrived brunt, chicken wings, had been reheated and still way to over priced, I had chicken as the Amin course couldnt eat it, do not eat any chicken dishes they are over cooked and to dry, how ever it wasnt all bad highly recommend the stakes and burgers, also pie, as these meals came out with not family complaints, just that the mash was frozen glupey consistency, chips you can go wrong via chips, me personally would not eat here again, but some of my family enjoyed there meals, Ill leave this review, for you to decide. The waitress Tallier was a delightful young lady, who was very accommodating. Vegetarian options: None of us was Vegan, so we didnt have any of the vegan options Parking: OK got parking had no problems

Lovely food as always and some fantastic offers, like 2 for 1, on many options through the week from fajitas to pizzas. Good selection of beers and ciders as well as gins and spirits Play park in the garden with tables for drinks and food as well as animals like goats, chickens and pigs. The pub its self is comfy with various seating options covering high stools and tables to comfy armchairs and big padded benches with tables. There is also a nice cosy fireplace thats lit very regularly. What more could you want from a pub/restaurant

Just had a really lovely breakfast here, clean throughout and friendly staff. Such good value for money too, great quality food and good portion sizes. I m a big fan of a breakfast wrap and this was without a doubt the best I ve ever had, highly recommend I think this will become a regular weekend treat for us!

We popped in for a Sunday lunch pint, its a nice place although a little warm inside for us so we went and sat with the goats which our little dog loved as they kept coming over to us and really didnt mind the woofer. We keep saying we will have to visit more often as we have eaten here before and the food has been pretty good.

A party of 6 of us all enjoyed the food, the lady who served us was friendly and helpful in selecting food for someone with allergies including swapping ingredients; main course, pudding and drink came to £25 per head, so excellent value for money.

Very poor food . Belly pork to tough to cut .sent it back . The chicken Kiev special was cold. Waited 15. 20 minutes for food to arrive . I was offered more food from the menu ,but was already put off and didnt want to wait any longer. (No refund offered) Should have gone Ash tree its cheap and you know what your paying for . The Waggon at Hale is a fantastic little pub with a great atmosphere. The owners and staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. The beer garden is a lovely place to relax. Keep in mind that it can get busy, but it adds to the charm of the pub. Overall, its definitely worth a visit.

Waited over an hour 15 mins for two adult mains then a further half hour for two children s meals, was told 5 mins every time I asked and continued to wait another 30 mins. Would leave a 1 star review if I could. Avoid if your hungry

It s the first time I ve ever been here and I wouldn t go again We had a Sunday roast and tbh it was awful and a hard one to swallow considering how much it cost, I think it was £17 each, totally over priced Thank god for gravy because I could have choked on the chicken it was that dry, Yorkshire s looked like microwaved aunt Bessie s, definitely not made on site The potatoes looked and tasted like they were cooked days ago and just warmed up, they were pale, dry an mushy Our waitress was really nice and friendly which is a plus but a particular bar lady looked like pure misery as soon as we walked in the door

Went Sunday and have to say the Lasagna was dripping with orange fat, too much cheese to the point it was inedible. The pie was top notch as was the children s meal. Inside was clean and tidy but outside the slide couldn t be used as it has so much sap on it so wasn t fit for purpose but a good clean up is all it needs. Lovely to see the animals that looked healthy and well looked after.

To be truthful, this pub was better years ago. I dont think its a gastropub at all. The food just isnt up to gastro pub standard. Ive been twice in the last few months whilst visiting family in Kent and both times Ive not been impressed.

We came for a rare lunch out and were sorely disappointed. We booked a table and a highchair for our toddler and we arrived and the highchair wasnt there. This wasnt a big deal, we just asked for one. The one they provided was filthy and the table attachment was scraped and unusable. The staff watched us get wipes out to clean it and didnt offer to clean the highchair or get another one. We ordered a couple of starters which were great- came out quickly and were nice and hot. However, they put the hot plates right in front of our toddler and we had to swiftly move them away. We ordered two Sunday dinners and a Mac and cheese for the toddler. The Mac and cheese came out in a scolding hot bowl and we had to wait a long time for it to cool down enough, meanwhile our toddler got increasingly upset that he couldnt have any. I had the gammon Sunday lunch and the gammon was dry and chewy, the veg was really floppy and tasteless, the stuffing was really tiny, but was flavourful. The Yorkshire pudding was reminiscent of frozen Yorkshire puddings you can get in the supermarket. My partner had the lamb shank and it was burnt on the top and another customer chipped their tooth on the lamb shank. My partner then paid and was charged £20 more than the bill, which we discovered when checking the bank statement. We were told to come back and get the money back in cash. Absolutely not. Overall, the staff need to be more proactive and thoughtful - Ive worked in cafés and always knew to keep hot things away from children and to clean the highchairs properly. There was a lot of standing around and chatting, which is fine if everything was clean and everyone was happy, but that was not the case. The food was poor - Id suggest making the menu smaller and offering fewer good quality meals than lots of mediocre meals.

Picked here as a last minute choice, now it will be on our regular list. Got stuck in traffic and lost our slot at our normal place, and tried to find a dog friendly place to eat at. Found this place and gave them a call. They booked us in quickly and easily and we found it with no problems. Staff - The staff are friendly and helpful, never had to wait long to be served and nothing was too much trouble. Food- Well this was a lovely treat the food was cooked fresh and was hot and delicious, they even served my mums dog a little meal, lovely touch. Surrounding, the place is clean and well kept. We will be visiting again, excellent menu and lovely food.

Possibly the most bland unappealing roast dinner ever. The potatoes weren t roast potatoes veg bland and very little of it. A tiny stuffing ball frozen Yorkshire and tasteless gravy. I ve been to Waggon at Hale on a few occasions and have been impressed with their food, so I recommend this place for lunch with some work colleagues. However, on this occasion the food wasn t very nice and up to the standards it has been on previous visits. Some of the order was wrong, Fajitas came out charcoal and was very overcooked, pizza was cold and undercooked, chickpeas curry contained no chickpeas. We did address this and 10% was taken off the bill. Hopefully it was just an off day and the food will be the usual standards should we come back for another visit.

Visited today with a friend and the kids. We had the pizza and my daughter had spag bol. They were great finding out allergens as she has a dairy allergy. Pizza were better than any pizza shop Ive been to. They were delicious. We then had cookie dough and brownie and my daughter vegan ice cream. All were so good. They have a lovely play area for kids aswell. Definitely be coming again. Dietary restrictions: My daughter has a dairy allergy and had enough variety for her. Last minute booking, so so loud food was horrible beef was dry gammon was gray and the steak and kidney pie the pastry not cooked and the filling was just tinned beef. Never again. The food used to be nice but no no no no no no starters were OK.

Good food nice cold beer and small animals to keep the youngsters amused. Very enjoyable place on a Saturday afternoon. Parking: For a Saturday I was surprised at how many parking spaces there were, I expected to struggle to park.

There was no service we had to go up to the bar ask were our food was over hour for our food Dessert we still waited over a hour still no service went to the bar 2 times to see were it was when it come out the brownie was burn couldnt eat it it was so hard

We used to go here quite a bit before lockdown. Didnt mind paying a bit extra for pub grub as it was always that much better than other pubs in the area. The hunters chicken was amazing , huge portions and lovely chips which were some of the best Ive had. Also, the roasts were spot on. Now the meals are over priced and mediocre. Chicken dry, fries OK. Smaller pint coke glasses. Just a lot of little things that add up.

We went here for some food and its the first time Ive been to The Wagon for about 10 years! There were amazing Halloween decorations everywhere which really brightened the place up. And the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Well definitely be coming back!

What a gem, we ordered from the Uber eats app for home delivery, and we went for the meat feast and pepperoni pizzas which were absolutely delicious, plenty of toppings and even better it was buy one get one free so for a family of 4 it cost £26 for four pizzas. We ordered some sides as we didnt realise how big the pizzas were , we didnt really need the sides but the chips and onion rings were both tasty and good sized portions. Will definitely order again from the wagon at hale and will definitely pay them a visit. Thank you

We have recently moved to the area and found this amazing family run pub.. our son loves all the animals and the park. We have had lots of lovely food here. To top it off we went to the Halloween Party today and its was amazing! So much for the children to take part in! Pumpkin Carving, Face painting, games, dancing and much more! Great atmosphere for all! Children and adults!! Thankyou so much and we can not wait to attend many more events! We love it here! Kid-friendliness: Park and Animals to entertain the children!

Sunday breakfast at the Waggon at Hale was unexpectedly good. Sorry about the photo! I couldnt help myself and tucked into my food before I gave any thought to writing a review. Whoops! Among other breakfast choices, theres a standard Waggon cooked breakfast for £8 and a larger version, the Ultimate, for £11. Both come with lashings of tea and coffee plus toast, all included in the price. I chose the Ultimate and Im surprised that I finished it. The Waggon includes sausages, bacon, 2 eggs, mushrooms, beans, grilled tomato and a couple of hash browns. The ultimate swaps the hash browns for 3 slices of black pudding and huge portion of bubble & squeak! It made for quite a pile! The bubble & squeak is clearly home made. Whilst it lacked the outer crispiness that I long for in a great, fried bubble, it was properly made with decent potatoes and greens. The sausages were decent and the bacon remained juicy. No shoe leather bacon on your cooked breakfast here, thank goodness. Its just a shame that the egg yolks werent runny, but thats me finding criticism where there should perhaps be none. Everyone agreed that the food was super, but the Ultimate was a little too big and thatll be a very rare comment from me! Accounting for portion size, quality and the price-included tea, coffee and toast, this is one of the best value breakfast locations in all of Medway. As a family run pub, one might expect their service to be genuinely friendly. Im happy to report that it was, so thats another tick in the box for the Waggon at Hale. The pub is easy to find and has a small car park of its own. Parking is a little tight to the front, but overspill parking is available to the rear of the property. From the outside, the building looks like an old Tudor house. Its just a shame that its less characterful inside. That said, it is clean, tidy and functional. Well return for Sunday breakfast in the future. Ill just be sure to fast for a day before we do :-)

Was the worst pub visit we have ever made. Attended as a family for an after gathering for a function. Food was ordered, the starters didnt arrive for over 40mins and then an interminable wait for our mains which were incorrect, overcooked and a lot left as we simply couldnt eat it. The food took so long to arrive that most of the after gathering party had left before we got our mains. When questioning the order, we were told that we were wrong (we know what we ordered- one as standard ultimate burger meal had been ordered and a second the same but asking if the bacon could be omitted) both meals came minus the bacon. The cod was severely overcooked and greasy, a large part was inedible, as were the portion of extra onion rings, which are my daughters favourite, she tried one and could not eat the rest. Really disappointing as wed spent over £80 for the food and a drink each (3 of us) (2 extra drinks during the wait for the mains) Tried using the toilets, was advised one had no toilet seat and the other was dire by the lady exiting it. Upon looking the floor was filthy and wet all over and unsuitable for myself as I am disabled and it would not have been safe. We heard others in the party complain, but simply had lost the will to do anything by the time the food arrived as we were at the point of walking out and telling them to cancel the remainder of the order. Also the staff were bringing food out and asking who had ordered calamari for instance, 3 people on different tables would respond and wed then ask which table was it for?..the staff member said she didnt know and had to go back to check. This happened many times with different dishes. Very disorganised and a totally disappointing visit and we will not be returning.

Great food how ever, check the bar before you buy anything as there are deals to be had but only at the bar and not when you use the app weirdly...

Havent been to this pub in ages and i was absolutely delighted i did. The ambience of the place was lovely. The seating inside was comfortable. Our lunch was lovely also. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hope others will pop into this delightful pub

What a lovely pub, barmaid was welcoming it was clean and light inside and outside was well kept. Lived in the area for 25+ years and never been before or new they had farm animals here. Amazing 5* review will definitely be revisiting for a meal.

Was looking forward to dining here as a friend had recommended it. I had looked at the menu on their website and we chose 2 meals from the 2 for £15 section. I was greeted by a friendly barmaid, and was told that the lasagna was no longer included in the deal; but she checked with the manager and he honoured the website deal! So it might be good to check by phone if there are any changes not reflected on-line! They said they would bring our drinks to our table and promptly forgot! Had to queue again to remind them! She did apologise later! My husband had the sausage and mash and thoroughly enjoyed it, unfortunately my lasagna was very disappointing! It was over cooked and chewy, the garlic bread was dry, the salad limp and the sweet potato fries a little over done! The place is nicely decorated but our table was a bit sticky! It was also very noisey!! We finished our drinks outside and you can see that they have made a great effort with the petting zoo and play equipment for the kids! There did seem that there was a lack luster feeling to the rest of the space ~ broken and dirty looking chairs, half dead potted plants, unsightly, dangerous looking wiring hanging out of a window, food on the tables, benches and floor and the music was a tad too loud! The kids seemed to be having a great time running around, squealing and shouting, so if its a quiet drink out you want then this is probably not the place for you! When we left, I had difficulty getting out of the car park due to someone parking in the zoned off area!! Generally, this is a sweet pub with friendly staff that do their best to sort the mistakes! It was very busy, (so they must be doing something right!) so I feel that maybe an extra bar staff would help make things flow better. A good tidy and clean in the garden and a review of some of the dishes on offer would go a long way to deserving the gastro label they have given themselves! A place with great potential ~ just missing that je ne sais quoi!

Had a lovely lunch here ,while the sun was out in the garden today. Petted the goats and pig . Had smaller portions of the salads which were worth the £6 each. Pannini was great too, enjoyed calamari and a birthday treat of baileys martini all so nice . Served by a pleasant lady who had been a bit busy where the sun had been out, so maybe plan for extra staff on nice weather days but defo be back as great food and timely food .

Had a late Saturday lunch. Excellent service at the bar with advice on G&T offer (lemon sherbet, very nice too!) and friendly conversation. Very tasty food! Deep fried halloumi, chips & mushy peas for Hubby and jacket potato with smoky 3 bean chilli and salad, very tasty indeed! Friendly atmosphere, nice surroundings and lovely people. We will be back!

Absolutely appalling. Nachos were thrown on plate. Steak was cold. Could ve got a better burger from McDonald s. Service was not existent. When asked how food was we very politely said how bad it was and they refused to deduct anything even though half the food was left. Would not return ever again.

Bad food, poor service, refused any discount despite our complaints. We tried to complain during service but the staff were so busy we couldn t get anyones attention. Steaks were cold! 2 steaks and a bottle of wine for £25, wine didn t arrive until we went and got it. Nachos were a mess. Portions are also pretty small for a pub. Was so hot we asked for the ceiling fans to be told they didn t work, but the windows would be opened. Nobody opened the windows so we had to sort it ourselves. Certainly won t be getting a return visit.

Havent been here in quite a few years, i understand its changed ownership in that time and i have to say they have done wonders with it, the food was very nice and a big portion considering it was so reasonably priced.

Sat in the garden and the children wanted to feed the animals, well the goats loved it!!!! Could either order at the table outside or at the bar. Went to order inside, service was very friendly. When the food came, it was gorgeous!!! We will definitely be going back again.....well done Wagon!!

Absolute gem of a pub. Good food, friendly staff, fair prices AND its dog friendly. Nice atmosphere.

My last review was 2015, though good then, have to say they have improved 100% and more, the food was delicious, a good varied menu for everyone, meat eaters, vegetarian and vegan options were plenty for all dietary needs, the kids menu looked good as well, will definitely visit with my grandsons, staff friendly, clean and tidy, would highly recommend

Popped in for dinner this evening with the husband and had such a fantastic meal! I had the meat feast calzone - the best iv ever tasted! Packed full of meat. My husband had the sea food platter! The fishcakes were cooked perfectly! Gutted I forgot to take a picture of both meals but we highly recommend and will certainly be back again!

Have tried other pubs and restaurants and they do not compare to this establishment, food qaulity and service for the price is the best in town. Dog friendly and most excellent outside area, it will not disappoint.

The food was ok and probably the best part of the visit. The mocha we ordered tasted like nothing and was clearly very weak and not good quality. The milkshakes had no flavor and was like watered-down milk. The place overall was nice with the play area outside which is nice if you have kids.

the foods alright but the goats and all the animals are getting treated unfairly here, the pens are way to small, fhe goats pen has crates for floors and dead grass. the goats are walking on their knees and with research- their sick. and not getting treated... at winter there was a piglet with a puddle of water to drink in this tiny pen! and the water was frozen. Id rate it 0 if i could.

Always a pleasant experience, the wagon was well decorated for Halloween when I visited this week. Staff are friendly and the food is always nice. They have deals on weekdays as well. Parking is limited at the front but additional parking available at the rear. Animals and a play area feature around the rear seating area.

Booked in for Sunday lunch for 2.30...only to be told we wouldnt be eating until at least 4pm....what a let down, wont be booking here again

First time here. The food is a bit more pricey than some other nearby pubs but then realised that you are paying for fresh home made meals which you wont get elsewhere. The garden is a bit grubby around the childrens play area but it is winter so hopefully it gets a revamp for the summer. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu available

I went as part of a group of nine and we found it to be average at best as the evening was spoilt by a few things: Firstly, we had been looking at the menus before our visit and had mostly chosen what we were wanting from the main menu. Once we arrived, we were told we could only order from the Sunday lunch menu (during a 17:30 booking) which was a smaller menu and there were several items unavailable. Between us, we had several burgers with varying options of sauces and the clear lack of sauce in each burger made telling them apart a challenge once received. The burgers didnt really taste of anything (no flavouring in the mince used to make them) and the cheese/bacon added to them did nothing to add to it either. Calling them the ultimate wagon burger was a stretch of imagination in our eyes. One person had a roast dinner, in which the potatoes were soggy and the Yorkshire pudding was rubbery to the point of being uncuttable, never mind edible. The caption for the roast ended up being the gravy was nice From the kids menu, we received a sausage that was so far overcooked we were able to bang it on the table which made a considerable thud. - When this was bought to the attention of the staff, the lady didnt seem to care and no meaningful apology or concern was likely. You have to order at the bar here which isnt much of an issue and you can help yourself to cutlery/condiments from a nearby table. The plus sides were the Starters and puddings: Prawn cocktail was a hit with almost everyone along with the GF garlic bread. They went down a treat. For the puddings we had a mixture of Sundaes, Salted caramel cheese cake and brownies, all of which were well received although the brownies varied a lot in temperature. Overall this experience was a bit of a let down as the mains were of a low standard, but the starters and puddings redeemed them a bit. We will not return based on our visit. Not to be harsh but was one of the worst experiences. From the get go our table was dirty and drinks were flat. The burger had no flavour, the bun fell apart and the coleslaw was an off yellow/white with a funny smell. We were limited to a smaller menu even though this was not stated on their website, and at midnight I awoke with severe stomach ache and threw it all back up! However the chips were very nice and the dessert was ok but I certainly won t be returning. Several other people who I attended with also had stomach ache within several hours. They gave a burnt rock hard sausage to a 2 year old which we were able to bang on the table without breaking. The Yorkshire pudding couldn t even be cut through, and there were bones in the chicken breast. The vegetables were raw, while the potatoes were soggy. It s like the dinner had been sitting under heat for about 2 hours. The bacon in the burger didn t taste right either it was like eating cardboard. Safe to say I wouldn t recommend this pub/restaurant.
