Food was very delicious

The staff was rude, didn t deliver on time and then hang up on me on the phone and the refuse to send me out my food. Will not be going there again waste of time and money

Food ord2ed via just eat, 7.20pm. ETA 8PM. its currently 9.10pm and our food hasnt arrived and the restaurant arent answering their phone.

That has to be one of the worst Indians I have eaten

I called to ask if this is halal or not but they said that they don t need to mention anywhere on shop but chicken meat halal and on internet they said that they do buffet but over the phone he said no, we don t do. He was so rude not talk much just quickly turn off phone

I only gave star less for slower delivery. However, Food was really good. We will return next time.

It was a delightful experience. We took buffet, and I must say that every item was delicious and authentic. Also, it waa kid friendly. My 3 year old son enjoyed himself. The owner, Mr. Amir, greeted us himself. Would like to go back again.

I popped in to get some take away food for my partner. The guy in the restaurant was very friendly and chatty. Food didnt take long to be ready and my partner said she really enjoyed the food. She uses this one all the time and loves it everytime

I tryed to order on the phone took 20 mins and waited over a hour for food and still no food actually didnt turn up

Im very surprised. in my life never seen restaurants behave like that. The food was terrible! Definitely won t be going again. The restaurants owner was very routed with us, I said can I have 4 bottles of water? he said the water bottles were £1.99 each do you still need them? them. Then I said didnt ask the price. Im very surprised the owner say that. I ordered one paneer tikka and one mossrom something in the starter. I said the poshen is small and can have another one. He says we do not take your order more because I have another customer. They should have changed the name of the restaurant. They should have to use an angry eye not a hungry eye.

Was a poor service. Was told order be with me by 8.50. I called them at 9.15 yes 5 mins order be with you. 9.45 phoned again yes order with you. 9.55 order got to me. Driver couldnt fine my house number even tho he was outside it and house no is lite up. Food was warm not hot. Food was ok. Sorry wont be asking for delivery again from you. Bad service and no apology.

Ordered early to beat the Friday rush but had to wait 2 hours for delivery (1 hour later than the time we were given!) No apology from the driver and the food was luke warm. Called the restaurant twice but they were not very helpful. Will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

Visited a few weeks ago, and it wasnt my 1st choice of place but after being turned down quite a few places on a Sunday evening, me and my partner ended up there. And we both could not be happier that it happened. Warm welcome, after we popped out heads in asking please dont say you too only do delivery on Sunday. No no no, please come in, we are open and serving It was very quiet, but having worked in a restaurant myself, its not surprising for a Sunday late evening that its quiet We were seated and quickly given menus. I absolutely loved how we were given time to make our choices, without anyone hovering, asking you ready to order? So. Food. Poppadoms... Lovely, and the amount of chutneys they came with was...huge. We actually felt sorry that we did not eat it all because the leftovers will end up in bin. And again, after our starter of poppadoms, the was a nice little break. No one was shoving the food into our face, as many places do because they think that the quicker you get the food out the happier the customer will be. No. I want to eat and enjoy the food, the flavours. Then the main was served. Ohh emm gee. Absolutely beautiful. Full of flavour, and I mean flavour. Not just spice in your mouth. Just gorgeous food you could tell was cooked to the highest of standards. Beautiful bowls of curry full of meat, not some sloppy stuff you have to chase the meat. Anyway,all in all , massive thumbs up and we definitely shall go back!!!!!

First time ordering despite it being late due to traffic the food was still amazing and fresh! Happy Customer!

Order was very late and after ringing lots of times to find out where are food was the phone was never answered. The food was luke warm when it finally arrived . The sagg aloo had no flavour but the amount of chicken in the curries was excellent but overall not a good take away service maybe better to eat in restaurant.

Avoid, unless youre into soggy bhajis, leathery lamb and Bombay potatoes like dry par boiled roasties. Whats with the garden peas in the claggy rice? Worst Indian Ive had in donkeys years!

I placed online order through hungry eye website for collection, when i went there to collect my order restaurant was closed. Called few times no answer, knocked on the door. Very disappointed, will never go back.

Waited nearly an hour and a half for it to arrive. Portions are small. Food tastes ok but was not even room temperature. The frozen desserts were in the same bag as the hot food..... or rather dessert. 2 were ordered. Only 1 arrived. The driver said he would bring it back but we knew that was pie in the sky. First time Ive used this restaurant. As well as the last.

Nearly 2 hours to deliver! Cold food. Ordered lamb tikka bhuna and got chicken tikka bhuna! Absolutely rubbish. Wont be using them ever again.

I have ordered a Mixed Biryani with Tarka Dhal for takeaway, Taka Dhal smells like out of date and Biryani was plan with 1 pis meat few Prawns and 1 chicken. I had no choice but to chucked the hole food in the bin before I get upset stomach. Got my self Tesco meal deal which tast better then that restaurant food. One state is to much for this restaurant and highly not going to recommend this restaurant.

Ordered from their website waited 1 hour 45 minutes rung them dozens of times with no answer, decided to go down there to find out they were actually completely shut. Although on their website it was saying they were cooking the food and it would be with me in 30 minutes. Disgusting why say youre open when youre closed just to take my money I will be getting a refund!!

Have no idea how this place got all the ratings. It is essential to say its not Indian taste. First time ever I had Butter chicken with yellow sweet coconut paste and then butter layer on top. Just call it yellow coconut chicken, should give a clear idea. Not impressed with the food generally. First and last order. For those Asians looking for authentic Indian food, this is not the place. Targetted towards those who like to have a curry

4th time of ordering from this place and has been progressively worse each time. This time the food was an hour & 10 minutes late and stone cold when it arrived with items missing. We called twice while waiting only to be told it was on route and would arrive soon. My wife Called to advise / complain about missing items to be told there s nothing they can do as the driver has gone and just eat it as we are very busy before they hung up on her! avoid at all cost!

Ordered from Hungry Eye on Just eat at 8:20 on a Friday and given an expected delivery time of 9:05. At 10:10 we called as we had not received our order. We got told there was a problem in Strood with traffic. We then asked, so has the food left the restaurant? and they said no. We then said if its not here in 20 minutes we want our money back. At 10:45 still no food. Check my Sat nav, predicted 20 minutes to get from restaurant to my address so not sure why its taken over two and a half hours to get here. The restaurant isnt answering the phone so we can cancel, so had to go through Just Eat to get it cancelled. Just as the cancellation goes through the order finally arrives. They took the food with them because we can cancelled, so not only have messed around, lied to us and not bothered to contact us, they still couldnt leave the food when they messed up. Absolutely disgusted will not be ordering from here over again and will tell everyone to go elsewhere.

One star as not able to rate any lower, this is based upon our experience as we did not get the opportunity to sample the food. Having ordered at 8:45pm and been given an estimated delivery time of 9:30pm, we were contacted and told due to how busy they were it would be an additional 20 minutes. One of those things, at least they were aware of the order and we now knew when the food would be delivered. Come 10:30pm, now 40 minutes past the time they had advised food would be delivered I called the restaurant. I was told that they had not yet started cooking the food and the driver of the meal that was yet to be cooked was hesitant Im not overly sure what they were hestitant to do as there was no food to be delivered at this point neither do we live in some ghetto. Whoever answered the phone was extremely argumentative despite the fact that the error was on their part. This was both the first and last time we have placed an order and I advise to avoid at all costs!

Worst curry Ive ever eaten in my entire life. Absolute disgrace, I cannot allow something as tragic and egregious to continue, I am doing my part to save the next man from this hellish endeavour. God save me but this was the most disgusting meal Ive ever laid my sweet eyes upon, just plain rude.

Worst meal ive ever eaten there were 3 hairs from the waiter and his hair was greasy he then blamed it on me and my family. It was very bad service took 1 hour and 30 mins for the food to be ready and there was no one else in the restaurant the food was badly cooked and the service was super bad I do not recommend ever going here.

Good food value for money

This is the most wonderful tasting Indian food I can remember eating for a long time ,far better than any other in the Medway towns .It is close to historic Rochester but not too close and the river is just out of the door across the road .

Food terrible Prices extortionate

Placed an order through just eat. They rang to say that theyve received the order and confirmed what we had ordered. This was fine. It took a while to get to be delivered, which wasnt an issue. However, when it arrived we were missing half of the food we ordered. We were then told it was coming by two different drivers and the second driver wouldnt be here for another 50 minutes with the food that we were missing.
