This is unacceptable I can't believe this people find it ok to sell this I pent 42 pound the jerk chicken the meat smell off spoiled before it was cooked the fish smell off definitely it was off they just fry it but you still smell the oxtail and butter beans so many bones little bits of meat and worst rice and peas ever they cooked fish and chicken they knew it was off they still serving it now I'm ringing the restaurant no body picking up

Food was very tasty but (for me) could have been bigger portions.
Thanks so much for our meal last night we decided last minute to sit in and eat, we was welcomed in from friendly lovely people. Our meal was super great we enjoyed every bite especially the curry goat. Music was great too we had a lovely evening and we will defo be back to try other dishes Thanks again see you soon
Do not order the curry goat unless you want a tub of rice and peas and 3 pieces of dry goat on the top. Don’t expect any customer service either, I called the restaurant to resolve the issue with my order and they just argued that there was nothing wrong with the order.
Wow what a disappointment, you food is frozen with just rice. Where is the curry goatits full of just bones and fat, look at the festival burnt. I requested salt fish fritter and you gave me stale sock solid dumplings. You should be shamed of yourself for serving poor quality food, I won’t be surprised if you close down soon. Don’t waste your money and READ REVIEWS BEFORE PURCHASING!
I'm not really one to leave comments and reviews but I feel offended that I was given this as jerk chicken because it is categorically not. The colour is questionable and for some reason they drowned it in enormous amounts of gravy which tastes like black pepper. I didn't even try the chicken because the colour doesn't resemble being cooked on a jerk grill.
I read a review calling the food bland… but I wanted to see for myself. Yes, it’s not great. The rice and peas, curry goat, jerk chicken have no flavor. The beef Patty did not taste great either (the crust was soggy and filling had no flavor). The food was just not fresh. I don’t think a real Jamaican owns this place

I can tell the chef knows how to cook but the chef needs to be a alot more generous with their seasoning the curry chicken it does the job but that isnt the curry chicken id be eating at home or at another shop especially for 10£ i dont know weather its because yall need to cater to others why the curry aint currying but pls SEASON THE CURRY CHICKEN A LIKKLE MORE and add carrots and potatoes for the 5 stars i wanted to give you

This was absolutely disgusting, serving raw uncooked chicken to customers, serving cold rock hard plantain of which tastes days old, as well as not receiving the drinks and a part of my order. This was disgusting, absolutely foul. As a jamaican myself i was a bit apprehensive about ordering from here and i was right to think so. Save your money and do not eat from here. I will be filing a complaint as well as a refund, this should not be served to customers.
Awful, the coleslaw taste off, the plantain was rock solid the mac was disgusting worst Jamaican food I have had in my life

Im extremely disappointed. Nothing was fresh. Everything was microwaved. I drove 40 minutes to get there. Great customer service, but the food should at least be fresh.
Just ordered take away for lunch. 2 beef patties was fantastic. Made fresh on point. However Jerk Chicken was Turkey. Clearly roasted far too long however many days ago as it was leg meat chopped up to look like Chicken, re-heated with weak jerk sauce added before being microwaved out back. Turkey leg meat was hard so clearly been in the fridge after being cooked for sometime. Rice & Pea was ok no coconut had been used again cooked a while ago and kept in fridge. Big clumps of rice and not re-heated correctly. Avoid. Just order Beef Patties

The food was average but I have had better. Very small potions. I found it very expensive
Just had a fantastic meal here. Oxtails at so tender but could do with more butter beans. A couple of dishes were missing from the menu and the card machine wasnt working. Other than that, lovely.
I waited 1.5 hours for the meal. When it arrived the rice and peas were a little dry and very small portions, the ackee and saltfish was swimming in oil and again very small portions. I had to throw it away. The only positive thing was the friendly driver.

Never again - how can you call yourself a Jamaican restaurant and the food tastes like this. Awful Food and my gran would cuss to taste this. Over peppered to disguise the lack of cooking skills, waste of money. Take it from a yard food connoisseur - don t even bother - take the trip To Brixton and get a take away there!!

Came in for jerk chicken and rice which is not jerk chicken its awful the rice taste like they have put too much coconut milk by accident or something definitely wouldnt recommend
Its... Okay, at best. The rice is dry, they put TABASCO in the bbq sauce, and the jerk isnt done properly. And the mac and cheese, COMES IN A BURNT CUBE, Only saying what I ordered, since I ate from here twice and never again. Dont order.
This was the worst carribean food Ive had. The rice n peas was hard & lacked flavour. Curry goat was more bone, fat & skin than meat. Jerk chicken was no where near jerk just drowned in hot sauce no flavour. Chicken was tough. None of this meal was fresh. Avoid at all cost!
Currently waiting for my property to move into so am holed up in hotels and friends for the time being but found this place on a walk through the area. Got some ital red pea soup and patties and went back for dinner that same evening.. Food was amazing and the service was exemplary! Will definitely use them again in future.
Ordered off Uber eats ... fast delivery but half off my order was missing had to wait another half hour food the other half to turn up The Mac and cheese looked like mash potato The curry goat was mutton All the food was greasy and the portions are shocking The containers look like they were re used My partner was being sick after eating the meals will not be ordering from here again
Great Carribean food, I absolutely Love the Jerk Chicken, always so tasty and I cant wait to get some more soon! It can be a little bit slow service sometimes, but that could just be my impatience for such delicious food! I cannot wait to order again soon now the restrictions are lifting!

My fiancé made a first visit today as Im holed up with the flu. He expressed surprise when he asked for pea soup to be told it does not contain meat!!! I grew up on this and its one of my all time favourites . Im just sorry he didnt call me first because I would have told him not to buy it! When he arrived home he opened the containers which was a little over half full. He took a photo but cant upload here . Not worth the price. Its so annoying when you want to patronise a business and first impressions last!
Always passed this place and wanted to give this a try for lunch. Had jerk chicken, rice and peas. Food was yummy. Had a nice kick to it. Well be coming back again to try more of the menu. Thank you

I visited this restaurant when I came down from London and couldn t believe the amazing, authentic flavours! You won t get as good as this unless you re prepared to book a plane to JA, so make sure you stop by if you re in town! Simply put, this place is amazing! I can t wait to come back :-)

Portions are so small is devastating few little pieces of meat and boiled ginger that looks like meat. Acke and fish swimming in oil Paid nearly 20 quid for lots of rice and tiny bit to go with it not even worth it.
Kilo has brought the taste of Jamaica to medway, melt in your mouth peppered steak, and the jerk chicken was out of this world, friendly staff and is very clean takeaway/restaurant
Moved to the area recently and have been picking up lunch from here 4/7 times a week. If you want some serious carribean food, you best come here. All foods proper tasty and employees are top tier. I ll be coming here more and more as the year goes on.

Bottled sweet/chilli sauce used all over chicken isnt Carribbean. So many non-authentic shortcuts used. Not a good experience.
First visit and quite impressed. A good menu and not to long waiting time. Had a large jerk chicken which came with plenty of meat. Lots of side and sweet dishes on display, and unlike some london Caribbean take aways a very friendly service. Will be going back to check out more of the food and may eat in next time, recommended.
Long wait for food. Charged one price for the order and then a higher price when food delivered, on top of that still didnt get what we ordered. Too disappointed to leave a long review.

The food was over priced and terrible!!!! I asked for a small and was charged a large! I wouldn t recommend anyone going here honestly would get a better deal at Pizza Hut down the road.
So disappointed in the food. Too much scotch bonnet used, no taste because the pepper is so over powering. Stew chicken did not look like stew chicken had to taste it twice to work out what meat it was!. The cheese and beef pattie was a horrible texture, the meat was not a good texture and to much pastry. Not a good first experience and will not be returning again. Only thing positive was the decor of the restaurant. Shame could of been a nice restaurant in Chatham.

I went there at night and the patty they served me had gone off. It had an off smell but I gave it the benefit of the doubt but then towards the end it tasted off too. Although the service was nice, serving customers gone off food is obviously not the best.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! Terrible business, tried using just eat to order a meal, after an hour and a half (half hour more than the estimated delivery) The staff are unbelievably rude and lied about calling me about the delivery, I then didn t receive any of my food and was charged regardless

Ordered via just eat. The food was not bad but in this half Trini household we can tell the difference between Goat and Mutton. The Goat curry doesnt taste like Goat. Tbh this is a common thing that goes on and has been discovered since we started eating horsemeat instead of beef. Also there wasnt much meat even though I ordered a Large. I counted 4-5 pieces of Goat. I basically got a Large rice n peas tub which costs pennies extra. Not worth £9. The curry was very watery. Probably would not order from here again, especially as the delivery was £4 to our location.
