Dylans is a hidden gem. Food delicious and service is good. We have visited several times and just have to keep coming back. We have also eaten at their sister restaurant, Gurkha Fire, which has a slightly different menu and vibe. We highly recommend both restaurants. Give them a go, you want regret it.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Dylan s in Chatham! The variety of dishes we tried from the flavorful Prawn Diwala to the delicious Lamb Momo with Jhol were excellent, and the meal was great value for money. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I also enjoyed the Kingfisher beer, which was perfectly refreshing alongside the meal. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore Nepalese and Indian cuisine!

Really exceptional food, we enjoyed absolutely everything. Only complaint is that we haven t been sooner!! The chicken curry was divine, as was the paratha, momo (dumplings), fish pakoda and homemade mango lassi. This will definitely be our go-to place for a curry from now on, couldn t recommend it enough. And the staff and service were really great too! Kid-friendliness: High chairs available and friendly attitude towards children.

Popped in for a spot of dinner, it was such a friendly and welcoming place. Really friendly staff and the atmosphere of the restaurant was decent. Nice traditional music playing in the background. The food was sensational! We had chicken dumplings, karai and the house dilwale dish(nuggets and chips for the little one) which was all mouth watering (mango lassi was the best Ive had in a long time). Proper authentic Nepalese cuisine made fresh and with so much love and passion. This was our first time here and will not be our last. Really worth visiting, easily one of the best restaurants in Medway!

Our new favourite takeaway! So fresh, delicious, so many different things to choose from even compared to our other favourite Nepalese. Customer service is great. Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options. Dietary restrictions: Cater for gf as mum has coeliac disease.

I can t recommend this place enough. The food is unreal!!!! Can t believe somewhere like this is in Chatham! After taking the tour of Fort Amherst we walked down here for lunch. It was very good, especially the MoMos. The Mango Lassi was served in very nice metal cups, and we got good hints on what the kids might like to eat. I really enjoyed the very new but tasty Mustang Gold beer with my Chicken Tikka Masala.

I see a review for the curry s saying this taste like frozen ready meal and it does. Really wasn t impressed for our first visit. Asked for half a larger with lime. A pint was bought out with a pint of sprite but the lady didn t understand what half was. The dips with the popadoms come out in a shot cup with a tea spoon of sauce. The bread wasn t what it stated. Tikka Marsala has chillies in when this is a mild creamy dish to hot. No chicken around 4 small cut up cubes. Really tasted like an Iceland special £42 for a whole load of nothing Very disappointed

I was pleasantly surprised with the flavours from the dish I tried today. I am a very fussy eater and dont normally like to try new things but I was amazed by how much I enjoyed the Samosa Chaat dish. It was delicious! I dont often write reviews, but will if something is exceptionally good! I ordered takeaway food from Dylans this evening and could not fault a thing, it was all so, so delicious. I enjoyed it so much that even though I only finished my meal 30 mins ago I have already recommended Dylans to 2 people! The menu is interesting and unique and I will definitely keep ordering until Ive tried everything.

Another brillant dinner at Dylans on the 1st. The boys have streamlined the menu and added more even more lovingly cooked dishes (try the lollipop chicken!) Make sure you book in advance as the word is out and they are just going from strength to strength. Oh, and try the Nepalese vodka!

I visited Dylans Nepalese Restaurant as a guest at a private function and the the service was excellent as was the food. The choice from the bar was comprehensive. I have never dined there as an individual customer but from my experience I would recommend a visit for a quiet interment meal or for a group or family gathering.

I recently moved to the UK and am craving Indo-Nepalese food, but Im having trouble locating the most authentic and hygienic restaurants in the Medway. Thankfully, I found several restaurants lists on the web and decided to have dinner in Dylan s café due to the consumer s positive review. I enjoyed a variety of foods, such as Panipuri, Choila, Mo:Mo, masala tea and chicken biryani with my friends. Every meal had an authentic taste and flavour, the masala tea and Choila were unbeatable, as well as the background music made me feel like I am in my native country. The cost is reasonable. Strongly suggest to others as well because I got what I expected here.

Having travelled and eaten extensively around India and the Himalayas, I knew I had to eat here when I stumbled upon the menu online. I visited with trepidation, barely able to believe that I could find these authentic dishes done competently in Chatham. My pal and I ploughed our way through most of the street food menu, then had the gorkali lamb and curry goat. EVERY dish was cooked to perfection and tasted so authentic it took me right back to India and away from the Chatham / Rochester Intra. The ingredients were all high quality and the spicing was multi-layered and delivered the correct flavours that restaurants in the UK usually fail to do. The parathas were also incredible, I could tell that they had been carefully constructed by a chef who really cared what his guests were eating. It s so difficult to get a decent paratha in the UK, and when you get one that is homecooked from scratch it s the measure of a decent restaurant. Finally, the sole waitress was exceptional. Constantly smiling and genuinely helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her, despite the restaurant being full. This is my new favourite restaurant without a doubt. Well done to everyone at Dylan s and I wish you every success.

I went to Dylan s this evening after my wife seeing it on a local Facebook group. We have been meaning to come here for a month or 2 and was not disappointed. Not only did they provide a great service, but we were served the most delicious, fresh and authentic Nepalese food. We will be returning and would recommend to anyone.

We moved to Rochester in January and ordered food from Dylans ok our first weekend. The food was delicious - good quality, full of flavour and authentic. Weve since ordered at least twice a month and finally went to dine in yesterday. The team are very attentive and friendly. I was amazed to see the variety of Nepalese alcoholic beverages, including vodka, rum and beer. There are 2 types of vodka to choose from, which tastes great with coke. The food is just like homemade food and not like the typical high street curry houses. The samosas were crispy, tasty but not oily. For starters, we ordered pani puri, a variety of momos and chilli paneer. For main course we ordered bhindi (ladyfingers), karahi chicken, lamb, goat curry, dal tadka, black dal and mixed breads. Chef Keshav and his team are fantastic and I would highly recommend ordering food from Dylans and dining in at the restaurant. 10/10**

Second time eating at dylans. The owners are a delight, and their hospitality is spot on. Even asked us at the end if there was anything that could be rectified. Which, of course, there wasnt but was refreshing to hear. The food was delightful with lots of flavour. If youre in the area, you must try it at least once. But Im certain youll be back for more.

A truly delicious menu...five of us went for our first meal at Dylans this evening. Every dish was different from anything wed had before..every one of them was full of flavour. The service wasnt the fastest but they were clearly busier than they expected on a Tuesday evening...having said that we were very well looked after, including a tasty morsel on the house to keep us going. Best of all were the mo:mo dumplings...heavenly!

Had lunch here today during a visit to Rochester. Food was very tasty and authentic. We ordered the spiciest dish on the menu, wow, it really blew our heads off (in a good way!). The owner was lovely and friendly too, you can see the passion shine through to their dishes. Would highly recommend!

From aromatic curries to flavourful biryanis and delicate momo dumplings, the options were abundant and enticing.The head chef Mr.Keshav Kandel and Mr. Raju Kandel were extremely friendly and cooperative. The staffs were friendly and ambiance was good.

This is such a delight on my doorstep. I had heard good things and wow this surpassed it and more. Visited with friends, of which one is a chef and she was very impressed. I was back within the week with my brother. Had the special lamb chop curry both times and wow so tasty, right amount of spice! The fish pakoras are also a must have as are the chilli mo-mo. All of it was so fresh, tasty and perfectly cooked. The left overs I took home for my dad who cannot wait to come in person. Thank you!!!

I have been visiting this place several times. The atmosphere is just sweet and peaceful. The staff and the owner are super friendly. I had tried a couple of dishes as Pani puri, samosa chaat, chatpate, paneer momos, chicken momos, chicken chowmein, chicken biryani all tastes just amazing. Today I tried chicken thupka for the first time and was just the best, spice level and taste of soup, chicken were just flawless. Just loved it. There are several other dishes to try. If we want spicy, they prepare it that spicy food for us. I just visit this place for chicken momos as its my favourite. Most recommended restaurant till now.

Excellent food. From the ambience yo the customer service was par excellence. The chef came to each table to check if the food was as per expectations and the personalised service was great. Food was very authentic. The curry, naan, chutney was wonderful. I would like to highly recommend this restaurant

Deliciously authentic Nepalese and Indian food. Service was excellent from our waitress Shikha. We had the Goat curry. Highly recommended. Compliments to the chef as well.

Made to feel welcome from the minute that we walked in. All the food was well prepared and DELICIOUS. The lachha paratha bread was to die for. Also, a great vegetarian selection. We only wish we lived closer.

Very good meal , authentic momo s. The goat curry and whole meal was great. So much better than the normal Indian bland curry we tend to get served. You can tell this has been cooked within whole spices and passion. Great

This was actually a takeaway but I was completely blown away, I have quite high standards when it comes to asian cuisine and have been pretty disappointed since moving from London to kent. Dylans tastes truly authentic, rich in flavour and spice. I cant wait to try the new restaurant when it opens.

The food is delicious. The chef personally suggests the must try cuisines. Overall the experience was good. The momos that you get here is something I crave for, the best. The quantity of the food is also pretty decent.

Hands down the best curry ever. I had the Chicken Dillwala which is unique to the restaurant and is an absolute treat to the tastebuds. Staff are warm and inviting and the venue itself has a very homely feel. 100% recommend you try this amazing dining experience.

Best South Asian Cuisine Restaurant in Chatham

Restaurant doesnt look like much from the outside but man, the food was out of this world. Home-made everything and you could tell. Paratha, momo, bhindi, dilwala, all divine. Three of us had a variety of dishes, all superb. Never been there before and mostly chose house specials. Expensive, but this is no ordinary food. Will definitely go back to try out some of the other things.

I have ordered takeaway food to be delivered from this establishment multiple times now and it always leaves me wanting to come back for more. The quality of he food is exceptional considering it is delivered. I have never visited the restaurant in person but it s definitely in my list of places to visit. My personal favourite are the fish pakoras. Super crispy, lovely moist flaky fish. Just incredible.
