Zizzi - Chatham in Chatham

Another fantastic meal at Zizzi Chatham. All the food was great, but it was our first time having the calamari here. It was perfectly cooked, and very generous portion size when ordering the large option. Service is always 10/10 but we were served by Annie, Sophia, Kyle, Rachel and Violet today, who are all efficient and pleasant servers, and made the atmosphere really lovely.

Marc our waiter was incredible though out our meal. He was attentive and advise us with food and drinks. Thanks Marc for making our Xmas meal special Food

It was our first time at Zizzi and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was good, our server Kyle was attentive without being intrusive and there was a relaxed friendly environment. We will definitely be going back.

Even though they had some issues (which they informed customers about beforehand) they still managed to get us exactly the meal we wanted and more with friendly and speedy customer service from Rachel! Were regulars here and its always a good experience Vegetarian options: Fonduta sharing board is my go to!

I went to Zizzi s with a friend and we had a great time, the food was perfect and we loved the cozy atmosphere. Also the server, Kierra, was so lovely and made the experience what it was too, she was very smiley and we had a good laugh, made us feel even more welcomed and comfortable.

I am a regular at Zizzi Chatham as I live close by and have a Taste card which makes it great value for money. I have to say the food is excellent and the service is usually very prompt. The goats cheese ravioli is to die for and the prawn skewer - the prawns are huge and very well cooked always. I honestly thought I would be in Wagamama the most when the two restaurants opened but we always seem to be in Zizzi. Special mention to the staff. There is a new lady here who is blonde and she was our server on her first shift and was wonderful. Really bubbly. I wish I could remember her name - sorry, but the jewel in their crown is Mark who always remembers us and always asks after us and whatever we were talking about the last time we were there (great memory and clearly very engaged)! So attentive and a real pleasure to see every time we come. Thank you Mark and team and congratulations Zizzi on being our top pick of venue in dockside over Wagamama Xx

Our server, Marc, is a true credit to Zizzi. He was informative, helpful, and went the extra mile, which was both refreshing and much appreciated. The food was fantastic, and the complimentary main meal for my birthday was a lovely and welcome bonus. The downside, however, was that the tables are packed quite close together, and when we arrived, it was so busy and noisy that it was difficult to hold a conversation until it cleared out a bit. The pasta was also delicious but a little cold.

We came as a party of 8, one being a disabled baby. Marc couldn t have done more for us especially as it was a busy night in the restaurant. He made sure we was looked after and took his time with all the children when ordering. I was that happy with Marc and his team we left a nice tip. We will definitely be returning.

Honestly one of the best servers I ve ever had. Very polite and friendly his name was Marc. We have eaten in some of the best restaurants around the uk and Spain and the service really determines your experience. Marc was happy to be there giving us suggestions from the menu and very knowledgeable regarding dietary requirements. Even some Michelin star restaurants service did not compare to the service we received in Zizzi s on this occasion. It was my birthday meal and he truly did make it one to remember and I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends. Nothing was too much trouble and he honestly was so happy to help. An amazing employee! I ve worked in the service industry for many years and honestly employees like this are hard to come by. I really enjoyed my birthday meal due to Marc s service. Service can really make or break a dining experience. This employee needs a pay rise he s worth his weight in gold for the return custom he ensures for the business. Dietary restrictions: Good options for gluten free and server even mentioned I could choose pasta or pizza and it could be made gluten free for me which was a bonus. Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu and options. Supplied with crayons and activities to keep the little one entertained.

Food was awful and food undercooked. Told a member of staff and the response was. Yeah, sometimes the cooks think it s done and it s now. Next time ask for well done.. paid £70 for two uncooked meat pizzas

Went on a Monday evening, served by Rachel. Really lovely, bubbly and attentive. Told me about the zillionaires club which no one ever has before and I ve been zizzis loads. Lovely dining experience.

Super slow service from taking our initial drinks but by then we knew what we wanted so ordered meals too. To clearing empty plates /glasses/ cans. Annoyingly don t offer the child eat free even though I showed her my zillionaires voucher when we first sat down, it was only when she scanned the code at the end she said oh we don t do the free child meals in this branch. Annoying at would have only ordered the mini kids meal for £3.50 rather than the £8.50 and didn t even bring her babychino. Food was nice but wouldn t go back.

Took my daughter and friend here and they had lovely staff. Very quick service and food was great. They do a brilliant childrens 3 course offer at a very decent price.

2nd visit: disaster. Food being sent back to the kitchen from tables everywhere for being stone cold. Most wait staff very nice, one seems to have been dragged off chatham highstreet. As I write this the table next to us just sent their food back. People waiting at the door for 15 minutes or more for tables. Another table I can see have been here longer than we have and are still waiting for their mains. First time ever at A Zizzi. Food was very good, staff were friendly. Could do with more soft drink options. Reason for 3 stars is the expected tip when it comes time to pay. They hand you the card machine and 12.5% is preselected. The staff member also stood watching which would make some people uncomfortable if they were to change it. I left it and tipped the 12.5% but I do not agree with it being pre-selected on the card machine.

I had a booking with friends for 7ock, we waited in the foyer without being acknowledged for 10 mins, it was busy and realised that tables would need to be reset. Once seated we sat for at least 30 mins trying to get a servers attention, we were unable to order via the app as the table had not been opened. Almost an hour after being seated, our starters arrived, the mains were then brought without the starter plates etc being cleared, they were pushed to one side and we had to request they be taken away and had to ask for fresh cutlery. At no point was we asked if the food was OK or offered more drinks. We sat with empty plates for over 30 mins, so we helped ourselves to dessert menus from the desk (customers were waiting at the desk to be seated and thought my friend was staff) We were now able to order dessert and coffee on the app and these arrived swiftly. We had to find a member of staff, t bring our bill and once with us this was the most attention we had all evening, we were asked how much tip we wanted to leave.. For the first time ever we all felt that the service was not worthy of tipping. Whilst the food was adequate, our evening was not as expected and judging by the conversations of other tables they appeared to feel the same and had to call staff for service too. Based o this visit, we will not be returning and would not recommend to others either.

They gave me alcohol when I specifically asked for non alcoholic gin!! I m 8 months pregnant- I checked twice that it was non alcoholic before drinking it! To be told after I had drank it at the end of the meal that It was alcoholic gin!!! Outrageous!!! The problem is the food was lovely but I will not be returning to this Zizzi !!!

Guys. Seriously. Opening time is till 10pm. Dont make a local decision due to a lazy chef to close at 9pm because he doesnt want to cook. Unbelievable!

Really lovely food but absolutely atrocious service. Late to table even though booked online, slow drink service and no-one cleared the table from starter and the drinks empties...in fact the starter plate and drinks empty bottles/glasses were still on our table when we were leaving !

I placed the order with my husband for food, I waited 20 minutes, after which we were informed that they did not have it in stock, I changed it to something else, after 40 minutes I received the order but my husband did not, when I finished eating I asked how long I had to wait for the order , they said they apologize but again they dont have it in stock, horrible service, I was there 1:30, my husband came out hungry, I dont recommend, the service 000000

Really nice evening out, food was all fresh and good standard, servers mostly friendly, only small issue was towards the end of the meal where we were waiting on service to order desserts (all other food ordered with a server) and no one came over so eventually used the app

First time at the Chatham Zizzi and we had a lovely time. Our server Ashton was lovely and so helpful

Garlic bread bomb was tasty, but had massive issue with the main. The prawn linguini had so much black pepper on top that it was not edible. It meant to be with sweet roquito pepper, but I couldnt feel it from the pepper. Shame...I really wanted to have a good pasta dish and I was hoping Zizzi can do more than just a pizza.. My partner ordered a rainbow lasagne...was alright, but no vegetable in there just different colour of sauces.

Food was terrible. Ate there about 2 months ago, was good. Yesterday the pasta carbonara was hard and cold, was kept under warming lights for too long (that s the way it tasted). Had lasagna with extra sauce. Big discussion with the waitress who told me the extra sauce was inside the lasagna. Asked her to check and she came back saying she made a mistake. We were a party of 4. 3 of us had stomach aches coming home. Was so happy that a Zizzi opened in Chatham but won t be going back. Very disappointed.

Had a lovely meal here, food couldn t fault. Atmosphere it was quite pleasant. The only and biggest issue was allergies. The service was good until when we asked about an allergy we were assured it wasn t present in what we ordered and she was correct. However when it came to dessert our order was taken (my allergy doesn t have to be listed it s quite obscure) so as it was already brought to her attention me and my partner didn t think we needed to question it again, however when the dessert came to the table my allergy was dusted all over the top of the sundae. So if you have allergies or dietary requirements be rather cautious and triple check things unfortunately

Disgusting company! They are running an online brand out of here CoCa Da Mumma! We received the wrong food and it was cold. After spending all day at a funeral we needed some food. We ordered and it turned up cold, with the wrong content. Also on the top was marked pesto (not ordered) you can not call the restaurant as it has a stupid answering system and you can get to the restaurant. Now they HIDE behind Deliveroo and try to keep quiet about supplying the online brand. I am disgusted the way we have been treated, £40 out of pocket and nothing that could be done People and business just don t care anymore.

Greeted and seated well , but asked if possible to move to a booth that was just being cleaned to be met with of course you can then u get to be served by me our soon to be waitress Rachel. Went to zizzi for my birthday dinner last week. The food was delicious. Serivce was fantastic. The staff are very polite and smiling. As zizzi is new to dockside. Everything was clean and tidy. The layout was great and very spacious for my mobilty wheelchair and sister baby pram. Many different options of food and drinks to choose from. I like the idea of the bar and kitchen being open so you can see the staff making your drinks and food.

Brilliant customer service. Staff genuinely trying to ensure we had a good experience. The garlic bombe starter is fantastic!

Visited Zizzi Chatham today and the experience was 5 star from start to finish! Our initial member of staff was warm and welcoming. I have a bell pepper intolerance, once the first amazing employee found this out we were handed to Marc, who was kind, knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Due to his care and knowledge I had an incident free visit. We both really enjoyed our meals, we had arancini (delicious), squid (beautifully cooked). For mains we had the salmon pasta and carbonara (tasty) and lastly dessert; raspberry tiramisu (gorgeous). Presentation on the food was excellent too. Thank you Zizzi!

Order a take away, delivered in good time but in my order was a large fries which were £6.95 and I got a small fries ! Tried to call the restaurant and all I got was an answer phone.

I came into with my boyfriend and got served by Rachel, although I ended up not ordering food because of a panic attack happening, I must say. She was an absolute angel and deserves a raise. Not only did she make me feel comfortable, she also gave me a hug. Ill definitely come back another time to see if I can face my fears of eating out again! Had a lovely meal. Majority of the staff seemed unengaged however this lovely lady Rachel was excellent she was whizzing about working her socks off to make everyone happy! Not only that had a massive smile on her face as well as being comical. Shes brilliant and i really hope she gets praised;) From someone who works in hospitality i know the stress and hard work she was putting in, she is such a wonderful member of your team.

We visited a few weeks after it opened for lunch using some Tesco vouchers. Staff (especially Caitlin) were friendly and efficient and food was great. We also liked the atmosphere and the decor. Will definitely be back Kid-friendliness: We were able to put the buggy next to our table and it wasnt an issue for staff even though it was slightly in their way

A welcome addition at CM Dockside. We went to Zizzi for the first time for lunch, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The food was served quickly (and hot!l, was tasty with good portion sizes. Being lunchtime, it was quite quiet, but the place is very well appointed, and it is obvious that a significant investment has been made. We were served by Caitlin, who was a very pleasant young lady, who checked to see if everything was alright, without overdoing it, which is what you want... PS, I recommend the mushroom starter!

My husband and I came to Chatham dockside s ZIZI s this anfternoon and while the food was good the service was so poor that I feel compelled to leave a review. Our server Freya took over 15 minutes before asking us if we wanted to order a drink. No eye contact was given to acknowledge she would be with us, so we were sat there waiting watching her chat to collegues or stand around. At no point did it seem they were rushed off their feet and they certainly were not understaffed. There was a server in another area that was very attentive to her area. Wish we were sat in that section! After eventually placing our full order ( we had ample time to choose our drink and meal)from our miserable server, our food came. My napkin fell off the table and she looked at it and didn t offer to replace it. The food was great, can t fault the food at all. Freya then returned when our plates were empty THEN asking us if our food was ok. Bit late if it wasn t! When Freya returned with the card machine, no pleasantries were given, however what topped this experience off what when she said would you like to leave a tip? We take cash or card I was floored. I just looked at my husband in disbelief. He chose to leave a tip with the thought it would be shared with the kitchen. They were the only positive part of our experience. Freya at no point of our visit showed any customer service skills. Not a smile. No recognition of making us wait. Nothing! I would like to add that my husband and I are generous tippers it s a shame that we have had to think twice about IF we leave a tip and HOW MUCH to begrudgingly leave. I hope that management see this feedback and consider speaking to staff about how to better represent the company and provide a service and experience that people want to return for.

The team were very friendly, the food was great and we didn t have to wait for long for our courses. On entrance an activity sheet was given to my nephew which was a good touch. Some of the crayons are empty or almost empty FYI lol

Only been open two days, fast service but had trouble getting staff attention to pay the bill. Very loud and staff seemed a little lost. Will be back again as food was amazing

I celebrated my birthday in Zizzi today (26th May) the lovely guy on front of house sourced us an earlier booking he was great. Our server Laila was really lovely and helpful. The food & drinks were really good. Very impressed and would definitely return.

Food was great, the place looks amazing and the service was impressive from the host at the door to the people who served us. The food was sent back by our waiter, he said he would give us 2 drinks on the house. They added them to the bill so we ended up paying for drinks we didnt even ask for. Food was dry and pasta was too hard. Shame because we was really looking for to this restaurant opening

We had a great meal at Zizzi Chatham. The place was really busy but service and arrival of food was really prompt. Rachel was a terrific waitress, attentive but not intrusive. 5* service. The food was really good, we enjoyed our pork belly and carbonara. Good value with their inclusive 3 course menu. The staff were slick and professional so I was amazed to hear that they been open for less than a week.

Had the risotto with salmon and a merlot. Very tasty

Me, my husband and our 2 girls went to the new Zizzi in Chatham and really enjoyed the lovely and relaxed atmosphere. I dont eat meat and dairy but my husband is a meat lover, thanks to the eclectic zizzis menu we had a variety of choices for everyones taste and even a childs menu. My vegan lasagna was delicious as well as the vegan raspberry cheesecake (not too sweet as Im not used to sugary things anymore). My husband was also surprised with his beautifully cooked herby pork belly. Our congratulations to the chef. All the staff was friendly, particularly Rachel and Sophie who were very helpful and easy to reach whenever we needed advice regarding my dietary needs. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend. Thank you for the wonderful, stress free, time I had with my family. Dietary restrictions: Theres vegan and vegetarian options and you are asked for allergies when welcomed into the restaurant. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids menu available

The restaurant had only 5 tables with customers, it was basically empty, nobody was waiting. They send us back because we didnt have a booking. There was no explanation why. I was shocked. We went to eat to wagammama next door. When we finished Zizzi had even less tables occupied and staff looking bored. We left puzzled.

Waiters seemed over busy, so service wasnt the best. One main course didnt come out with the other, mess up in kitchen, however waiter did apologise and offered a free drink nice customer service

We came out for my mother birthday tonight and originally planning to go Wagamama s but ended up going to Zizzi s and so happy we did! We had an amazing meal one of the best in Kent all due to the amazing work of Rachel the waitress she was friendly, informative and all in all very worthy of a promotion!! by far one of the best experiences all due to Rachel s amazing skills would definitely come back!!
