Tasty food. Fast service. You must try Singapore fried rice and pork balls with satay sauce. Top noch!
Food is rubbish I wish I’d not bothered the beef curry had no flavour and was cold the chips tasted like they had been warmed up and definitely not greasy, so gutted 😒😒😒 bring back the old owners the only thing good was the lovely delivery man who brought it
Food tastes like it's been cooked a day or two before. Crispy beef is more like crispy batter in sauce. Beef with fried onions surely tastes like beef that's been recooked and recooked over and over again. Chicken Chowmein was just plain old chowmein. Again noodles tasted like it's been cooked and reheated a day or two before. So I've tried that and safe to say I will be sticking to Tai Won in Gillingham
We order food from here every two weeks and always left very happy. The food is extremely delicious and comes at a reasonable price. Never had any problems and whenever we ask for something to be changed or adjusted for our order it’s done and very fast. Never have to wait for food for too long. As I mentioned very happy and love the food.
What can I say but the worse quality of food I have ever eaten. Over cooked double fried and the king prawn dish had 4 small prawns in it and mountains of green peppers and onions. The soup was like dishwater the only dish you could eat was the boiled rice. Stay away from this place.
If I could give zero stars I would. Worst Chinese we've ever had. Ribs were overcooked and definitely past their use by date, poorly tummy today. 🤬 Sweet and sour sauce and prawn crackers were absolutely vile and most of it was nearly cold. DO NOT USE THIS TAKEAWAY ITS JUST AWFUL!!
Like most others on here, we ordered at 6.20 and had to cancel our order by 8pm as it hadn't arrived. Girl on reception helpful, had the good grace to call the driver, then call us back to say it was still 10 minutes away. Ridiculous way to run a business. Wouldn't have given one star if we had the option but it was the only way we could tell you to AVOID.
Food was good, service was appalling. After 2 hours waiting (just eat shows Delivered automatically after 1hr) and unable to get though on the phone I drove there to utter chaos. Around 20 people waiting for food that had not been delivered. Frustrated delivery drivers outside with nothing to deliver. If it hadn't been for a particularly organised driver shouting at the owners I don't think any food would of been cooked. Eventually after a total of 3 hours I made it back home.

Curry sauce was more like a non descript bechamel sauce.....awfull. One star for plenty of meat.

Fairly consistent tasty food. Barbequed ribs with salt n chilli, Singapore noodles, pork Schezuan style few of the good tasty dishes.

Went to my friends house and ordered from here at 7pm. Called at 8.30, still no food. Food arrived at 9.30 but the wrong food! So we called them again, and waited and waited, called them again and waited some more. Its 11.30pm now, still no food and theyre closed!
I order first time food was very tasty and delivery was quick thank you Singapore rice ,chicken rice and chicken balls very tasty .

Ordered at 6.20pm delivered at 8.40pm, do not waste your time and money! Called the shop to be told it will be 5-8 minutes, 30 minutes still waiting, food stone cold, offered 50% discount next time, I will never be ordering again! Stay well clear!!
The quality of food is not upto date with compared the price
Sadly not as good as Id hoped. Seems I confused it with another place. The food was very oily and not very hot. Not as tasty as u expect. Maybe they run out of msg.
Normally quite decent service..Nikki receptionist claiming shes struggling to hear me when had no problems on phone all day over 5 phone calls. Just called up for a quick meal what a nightmare..
ordered 1805 still waiting 21.05 phone engaged .estimated 19.05 .awful device and no communication, phone constantly engaged would not recommend.
Ordered 6.20 pm, estimated delivery 7.20pm. After ringing over 100 times (no exaggeration) got through at 9.39pm to be told, WE HAVENT EVEN STARTED COOKING IT YET! NO APOLOGY, NOT BOTHERED. Absolute joke.
Ordered at 19.30 and was told food would arrive at 9. Could not get through on the phone to speak to anyone to get updates. Finally got through at 10.30 to be told they hadnt started cooking yet but would do now and would be another 30 mins. Kept ringing back and told different stories. Never received our food so do not order from them.
Ordered on dec 24th at 6.10pm was given a delivery time approx 7.10pm I eventually got through to them at 8.50pm and was told food not cooked yet would take about 30 -35 mins Rang again 10.10pm and was told food had not been cooked yet I said I had ordered 4 hours ago and was told they had been very busy. Do not use this Chinese There are plenty of others to choose from John
Total shambles. Ordered with more than an hours notice. Arrived 50 minutes later than that, and stone cold. Id give them zero stars If i could. Never again

Not happy at all, received raw chicken in my childrens currys was not the idea we had for takeaway night, rang the restaurant to make them aware and was completely unhelpful, have made my local council aware, i hope they pay a visit soon my daughter ate 2 peices of said chicken before we noticed, lets hope she dose not get poorly. Very unhappy
absolutely useless was told 50 mins for delivery waited hour and a half for delivery so obviously to busy to cope then when i rang to check lady asked for my order again and tells me its not even left yet so i told her to cancel it and she put phone down which i thought was quite rude will not use them again plenty of other good chinese takeaways in the area
ok... very small portion sizes and arrived warm.. . i always get the same from Chinese places (for two people) and always have loads left over! this place barely enough for two people. the food taste ok but very sweet, meat again just ok a few pieces of just fat (yuk) overall for the price i expect bigger portions, and the food to be hotter if they want to charge an extra £3 for delivery which is insane !! i ordered seaweed (sweet but good) pork chow mein (noodles weird flavor and pork to fatty) crispy chilli beef (very crispy and sweet) hong kong style chicken (sweet but good meat) and pancake rolls ( they were ok ) this was barely anough for to normall sized adults!
Maybe place doesnt look encouraging inside but what they serve is absolutely awesome. And that sounds from the kitchen reminds me about Asia and theyre way of cooking. Well deserved 5 .
Never again! Ordered food at 6pm, turned up at 7:55pm. When I phoned I told the girl on the phone that this is unacceptable. All we want is to be given a time and the food show up, within that period! It is shameful. :(
Disgusting attitude over 2 hours and still waiting love to review food but think when they say 8.10 delivery it means am and not PM Chinese for breakfast new concept but not for me after numerous phone calls still zero help recomend go to supermarket get microwave meal cheaper and on time

5/5! Consistently good food! delivery was very quick and food arrived hot and tasty! Haven t ordered from here in a while and I definitely missed it. One of the best Chinese restaurants round Medway. Never had a bad service from China Spice.
Been using this takeaway for a couple of years now and never been dissapointed.
Absolute banging Chinese! Food arrived ahead of schedule and all food arrived hot. Not to mention the delivery lady was so lovely and friendly!
Freshly cooked food to order, and worth the wait. Loads of variety to choose from. Be prepared to wait that little bit longer due to the fact that China Spice is probably the best take away in Medway & beyond, and they can get very busy at times. Dont take our word for it, try it! Owners Lin and Chen are a lovely couple!!
The food that was right in our order was nice but after a 2 hour wait, missing food and a wrong dish it was disappointing. This was the first time Id ordered from them and when I called to ask what happened they just said I didnt order it. After they had repeated the order with me 4 times because of my dietary needs. They just said they were to busy. I guess if they are getting a lot of business they just dont care. Maybe its better to order with just eat as a backup so you can prove what you ordered. But if you have dietary needs that doesnt work. I think that why they asked me how I ordered.
Proper Jank used to be very nice last few times got worse and worse plus £2 delivery is a liberty 100% never again
We was ordered salt chilli chicken.Chicken was over cooked, some of a chicken was black and not fresh,it look like same allready return this chicken .

Best Chinese in town
I ordered a meal from here for my grandson and sad to say food was not as good as it used to be. Ordered pork balls but had chicken balls instead, asked them about it and was told they was pork. Daughter ordered meal from here one month later and same thing happened again. Not sure if there is new owners but food has gone way down, have found a new takeaway and the food is good, and my grandson gets his pork balls

Delivery time went over an hour so I phoned up to be told it would be 2 minutes, then 5 minutes then she finally and rudely admitted that the food wasnt ready yet and would be about 10 minutes. She wasn t apologetic, just told me she had a lot of orders and its boxing day. Cancelled the order. Terrible customer service.
My partner and I both go China spice quiet often when not really sure what we want for food but the last few months ordering via just eat we found it was either over cooked or under cooked so last few weeks weve walked in to order and the food has been nice and cooked to perfection.. however todays meal was wasted its over cooked both chicken and rice and the chicken is either dodgy chicken or otherwise it was bloody turkey.. I personally dont like turkey and couldnt eat my meal I ate 3 or 4 mouthfuls if I was lucky so I questioned my partner asking him if he thought it was turkey and he agreed when I phoned the shop to complain they said it was chicken and it wasnt over cooked sorry but you arent eating the batch of food I received so how would you know ... 17 quid wasted and I would refer you to anyone for take out food lost us as a customer well find somewhere else to eat not even the bloody dog wants it and she eats anything
Really awful customer service. The just eat app says minimum spend of £12 plus £1:50 delivery charge but when you call the restaurant they say its a minimum of £14 and £3 delivery charge on top!! Really rude phone service. Also seeing now that other people are saying the food is dry so probably did us a favour tonight!

Very bad service. After waiting 1.5 hours for delivery I called them and the rude lady said they had not started cooking the food yet!!I cancelled my order and wont be using them again
Nice chinese food
Love the chowmein but tonight i got sweet and sour spare ribs and they werent ribs they were chopped up bits of meat and grissle and bone. Very disappointed as the other day they were actual ribs so dont know wot went wrong. But wont he ordering again im affraid as 4.80 went in the bin.
