Mum's Thai in Chatham

‼️AVOID‼️ We received a leaflet which had a 20% discount off the whole order. We love Thai food and have tried all of the local ones. So I ordered directly from the restaurant on Friday 6th December at 7.30pm for myself and my kids. I was told the 20% isn't available now even though it was printed on the front of their leaflet. Was told our food would arrive within 1 hour maximum. I called them over an hour later over 30 times on the landline number and no one was answering and it diverted to a mobile phone answering machine. Sounds dodgy to me! Spent £60. In the end I had to order from a different company. I ordered Pepes from Maidstone it came within 30 mins and was much cheaper. The food from Mum's Thai turned up 3 hours later 10:35pm!!! The delivery driver was polite but shamefully offered me the food for 50%. He could clearly see my children at the table eating their Pepes. I politely declined and asked for a full refund. I was told by the driver the boss would call me back. He never did! I did a charge back on my credit card in the end. The restaurant is a 10 mins walk/3 mins by car from my house. There were no excuses. It was the first time ordering from them, sadly they have lost a customer. I will make my friends and family aware. (Looks like I'm not the first customer this has happened to as per a review done at the same time as my order).

A fantastic meal, cooked to perfection. The flavours were awesome, and meat very tender. Highly recommend mums thai.

Really fresh & flavoursome thai meal experienced, had a dining in evening, the staff at Mums Thai couldn't have done anymore to provide a really enjoyable evening, the chef did not disappoint 😋 will certainly return again & also use as our Thai take out from here forward 👍

Ordered chicken Panang and Pad Thai from here last week they were fantastic, will be going back for other dishes in menu soon. Highly recommended.

Outstanding massaman beef dish, the beef was high quality and very tender, the flavours wonderful without being too strong. Light rice that is moreish. Saw the fish, looked like seabass but will try next time, it looked fresh and beautifully presented. Easy parking on Old Road. Back for more soon.

Delicious. Ordered some veggie massaman, aubergines Sam rod and thung thong Jay, and everything was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be ordering from here again!!

Haven’t had much Thai food before so don’t have a comparison, but I ordered a duck pad Thai today via Uber Eats. It was flavourful and generous portion, also had banana fritters which the batter was perfect consistency. Will be using this place again.
