Pad Thai Live in Chatham

Good was very good quality about 2/3 years ago,so I didn t have issues with customer service. Recently the food quality is terrible ( old and dated chicken , too much salt) but when I ask them to change and make a new one they are rude and water the exciting food down and says it s been changed. The food price isn t cheap but their food quality got terribly bad. Not freshly made , just warmed up old food.

One if the best Thai food restaurant in town. Food is delicious, staff is very nice and friendly, quick service and the place is very neat and clean. Have visited them few times in last 2 months.

The staff is always soooo angry and annoyed at the customers for some reason. One of the staff literally told off a customer in front of me for merely having a milkshake from outside. OUTSIDE FOOD IS NOT ALLOWED. Then they were very annoyed that my 3 year old daughter was walking in the restaurant while she was not disturbing anyone. Please grow up guys. Stop making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Average food and Horrible service. Very weird vibe overall. Not a nice ambience. We ordered food but in take away boxes as our daughter was very sleepy so we weren t sure if we would be able to finish food in the restaurant. We managed to eat at the restaurant. When we were leaving a petty staff member started arguing about the fact that we ordered take away and ate it in?? Not that they charged us any less - full vat was paid as it was hot food. Very petty. Food only average, I think they were fussed as they had to use 2 take away boxes? LOL - I have no clue. The lady kept arguing - half of which I couldn t even understand - until we were out of the door. Much better other thai options in the area and with much nicer staff. Would never return here

Always look forward to going here for not only the food but the people. Always very friendly, making jokes and talking about thailand. Recommended.

Positives - the food is cheap and the portions are generous, Negatives - the food is very average at best. The red curry was bland, the rice was overcooked and the pad Thai noodles were undercooked. We personally will not be returning. Vegetarian options: Not much at all for the vegetarian. The menu is also quite confusing

Excellent welcome, superb food, cooked in front of you so very fresh and authentic. In top of the service with a lot of smiles the food is very well priced

Dont overlook this restaurant when in Chatham. Friendly, attentive, staff cooking delicious fresh dishes right in front of you at good value prices. We liked it so much we went there 4 days in a row working our way through the menu!

Great baobuns - good portion sizes and ample fillings reasonable price too

The food was so fresh and nice and flavoursome! We got mixed starter, chicken fried rice and massaman. It was all perfect and I m quite a fussy eater especially with textures but I ate it all. Nicest spring rolls I ve ever eaten, I keep thinking about them ever since. The satay skewers were juicy and decent size. My partner comes here all the time and has never been let down!

Great little find. We were quite hungry and just wanted something to slate our hunger. Food was well above our expectations. Will likely return if in the area.

Lady there is so rude and using their language to shout at if we ask something.....

Ive eaten in maybe 5 times and had several take aways and the food was always great, until last weekend. I picked up an order around 6.45 and there were a lot of delivery drivers so maybe just too busy, but the food was really disappointing this time. Chicken satay looked great, lovely big pieces of chicked and a pot of sauce. But the chicken was overcooked so dry and chewy with nowhere near enough sauce. The drunken noodles were good but the Pad Kapow was just very sweet mince and very little other taste, it tasted as bland as it looked. Could have just been unlucky but unlikely to return, 3 stars based on much better previous experiences here

The food is great very friendly staff. Very quick service. Highly recommend been many times and will continue to go every week. Very clean watch your food being cooked fresh fantastic place to eat and have a drink

Fantastic food!! This place offers authentic Thai food. Not a fancy place obviously but A limited amount of dishes but that doesnt matter if you like Thai food. You have the option for different spice levels and meats or veg in dishes such as pad Thai, pad ka pow, drunken noodles, red and green curry, massaman curry, pork ribs, pork or chicken Thai burger (thaiger) and different side dishes. Staff are really friendly and fast too. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing food! They desperately need to move out of the outlet centre as they are excellent and the outlet centre is a hole!

I like the fish balls very much which costs GBP 6 per 9 balls. Unlike the other two branches, when I visited this branch a month ago, the staff only give me 6 balls so I told her I got 9 balls in another branch just earlier that week but she said their company group just changed to 6 balls only two days ago. However, when I went to the other two branches a few days later both still gave me 9 balls. I will never buy again in this branch because of the dishonest behavior.

Im visiting this place at lunch times as my office is based in the historic dockyard and i do not fancy other places around here, I have to admit Im a duck fan and their Duck noodle soup is worth the £8.50. Some have mentioed it a bit bland but for me is perfect, if you want to spice it up a bit they do bring to your an assortment of condiments so you can add as you wish.

Poor poor service discussing behaviour from management DO NOT GO to this place they got order wrong left us waiting I asked for a refund told I could get a refund as I hadnt had the food my autistic getting anxious as he was told it wouldnt be long one member of staff said we could get a refund then the manager asked y I explained we hadnt had the food and my son is autistic and has learning disabilities to be laughed at and told so so what and shouted at so I ended up in an argument and told I can have a refund if I never come back. I said fine still no refund and then asked to go out side with a male member of staff who was just rude didnt want to listen and didnt care to the point my autistic son was pacing up and down and being told my food is ready now 20 minutes later after ordering. In between another lady said she had been waiting ages for her food and how long was it going to be as they was hungry as well. So no food or refund

The sauce are tasty on curries, however the chicken are a bit hard and cut thickly. Also a little expensive for just 4 to 5 little piece of chicken in it....

Food was delicious and it was healthy food because you get to see all the fresh ingredientsthey use. Staff where very friendly and helpful. They helped me choose food Id like. I really enjoyed watching them cook too It was like being in thai house at dinner. Also it was all very yellow with upbeat music so the vibes were super positive. I highly recommend this place!

I had prawn pad Thai, satay chicken and a can of Pepsi max which came to £12.50. Food tasted amazing, came out piping hot and beautifully presented. Staff are really nice and polite, they shout out goodbye to every single person who leaves which I thought was really nice. The only thing I think they should point out is the fact they have peanuts and chilli for people to add to their food but if you dont ask its not obvious that you can use it nor do you see it on display.

Chicken Pad Thai took ages to arrive - was waiting 30 min and they said there was a mix up with the order but no apology. Happy waiting for good food, but this was so sickly sweet it was very hard to enjoy. Swimming in overly sticky sugary sauce, not pleasant and nothing like authentic pad Thai that I ve had before. Bad food and bad service.

Didnt enjoy spicy chicken curry with rice. Small bits of chicken, too much vegetables. Not proper Thai, although cooked by Thai women on premises. Catering to western palate. Women worked quickly to cook.

Incredible food and a really friendly atmosphere by all the team, really enjoyed my thai green curry with the family and it had a real nice kick to it. Will definetly be back again to have some more the next time Im around.

Great pop up Thai food, highly recommended, freshly cooked, tasty and extremely reasonable, great flavours, portion sizes, value, always friendly service. Perfect for a quick lunch if in Chatham Dockside Outlet.

I must say the food is really good and I absolutely love it! But there is lack of staffs which makes the food a bit delayed including the fact it is lot of pressure on the staffs. Hiring more staffs would definitely be my advice for the busy hours! But definitely recommended!!

Pad Thai Live Chatham has always been my #1 option for lunch. From the amazingly cooked meals to the friendliness and total professionalism of the staff it only gets better each time. I have recommended it to my friends and family and will continue doing so. Cant wait to visit again !!!

Have had a couple of visits to here but only as a take away on this occasion was with three family members so we dined inside was not impressed at all pork ribs were burnt and dry my nephew spent 65 and that was with no drinks sister in-law didnt want to complain about the ribs I did but she said let it go so when we had finished we had food left over so I asked for it to be put in there polystyrene containers at which point I was told they only put them in cardboard boxes at 50 pence per box so had to pay another 2 pounds for that. What a rip off told them they have now lost a customer due to the cardboard box con will never go there again

I m a regular here but the cheek of finding out today getting charged £1.50 extra for switching from sweet chill to chilli sauce with the spring rolls actually wound me up. And now my green curry has just arrived and the chicken content has halved and been replaced with the veg. Very disappointed being treated like this while being such a loyal Customer. Matter of moral over money.

Unassuming spot at the top of the escalators. Veg Pad Thai was unexpectedly good, so we came back the next day for duck noodle soup (shown in photo with a conker for scale ) and a new item stir-fry of which I forget the name. Would have come on our third day in the area too, except it was Sunday and they closed at 5pm, the same time as the Dockyard oh well (they probably follow shopping centre hours).

Now this little nook on the 1st floor of Dockside outlet is a hidden gem that needs to be known to the entire Medway! The staff....super focused and super fast. I mean theyre running on lightning bolts and the food is the most tastiest and flavourful when in gets into your mouth. Recently I tried the drunken noodles....medium spicy...OMG! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! So much that I got take away for my entire family. Yes! They also do take away and you can find them on delivery apps. I am all for Thai! Medway is overpopulated with Chinese fast food outlets and not many Thai fast food outlets but even if they had to go against each other .... Pad Thai would beat everyone hands down! 1st meal wed had here, would definitely come back. The kids really enjoyed theirs, but after travelling a lot in Thailand Id say is been dumbed down a lot to please the masses.

Went there Saturday for the first time. Ordering prosse ok. But my food arrived, but my partners didnt. Finished mine before hers arrived. When hers arrived it was wrong, had to be cooked all over again. We ordered together, we should of eaten together. I was so annoyed, we work hard all week, so a Saturday lunch is a treat. Never again.

Ordered my food online and had it delivered to my house. The order came in a reasonable time and was still warm. I had a green Thai curry and spring rolls. The food was delicious and really flavoursome. I will definitely order from here again.

I ordered food online through their website for collection. I arrived earlier than expected and they were happy to prepare my food for me then. I had spring rolls and pad thai which were all delicious! The food wasnt greasy and was easily some of the best pad thai I have had. The staff were friendly and I would definitely order food from them again. They are on the top floor of dockside, just up the escalators to the left of the entrance.

The food looked lovely, the staff were busy eating in the kitchen when I ordered. As intook my receipt, a lady shouted at me to be careful? I took my seat, the lady came out and started having a go at me for apparently staring at her while I was chatting to my 9 year old daughter. Suffice to say I demanded my money back. The rest of the staff were apologetic including the neighbouring restaurant.

Visited Pad Thai Live the wonderful smell lured me in, the staff were lovely, you can see them cooking which is great, very clean and efficient. Beautiful food that looked great and smelt great and the taste was simply delicious I would definitely recommend them and will be back.

This semipermanent stall is part of the Docksides streetfood court. To be billed as streetfood is somewhat confusing when there isnt any connection to the street, but Ive seen this work elsewhere, so why not. However, the setting feels like a bankrupted dodgy firms oversized corner office, complete with out of place looking bad quality carpet. Really, the atmosphere of the space is way off. On our visit it did not help that the doors to the roof terrace were shut and the place was deserted, except for the hardworking staff of Pad Thai. That means also that none of the other outlets were trading. Good for business, the lady at Pad Thai said, and I hope for them this is true, although I cant help but thinking they could still do better if the place was actually buzzing. Could that be expected in an otherwise tired feeling shopping centre? At any rate, we didnt let all this deter us and its a shame the environs distract from the food offer, which is actually a very decently flavoured and nicely cooked simple Thai cuisine at decent prices. (I am not qualified to judge authenticity, but certainly better than various other places tried, which tend to rely on watered-down-sweetness recalling the globally-blanded Chinese takeaway.) Should I find myself stuck at Dockside again over lunch, I would certainly consider it, or perhaps one of its neighbours might persuade me to give them a go. If these neighbours dont return, Id suggest Pad Thai to setup stall on the actual street, where it could add some much needed flavour to the dockside experience.

Have eaten here four times now - my housemate and I both love the food, with the chicken satay and red/green curries as highlights. Its clean and friendly, and a great pre-cinema meal. This is the kind of experience we missed during lockdown. Thoroughly recommended.
