After a mix up with delivery which wasn t there fault the restaurant made my order again in no time very helpful on the phone they even put more food in the order for free and a couple of beers I would recommend this restaurant to anyone great people and fantastic food

Took out my wife of 4 years on our anniversary to try out this restaurant and got to say thoroughly disappointed. Starter took 45 minutes to be brought out, mains took another hour to be served, despite it not being busy. Overall not a great service, waitress didnt seem to care much. avoid at all costs!!

First time here and called in on the off-chance, so pleased we did lovely food friendly helpful staff and as an added bonus there was a live act who was very good. Would not hesitate to go back next time were in the area.

Found out that under new ownership since October 2023, so recommendations to me were based on friends experience with previous owners. The manager was friendly and very attentive, asking lots of questions, explaining their menu when asked, telling me that the interior will be changed in the near future. Anyway, for starters we chose Calamari, Garlic Mushrooms with Cheese, King Prawns, and Halluomi. We then all helped ourselves to bits and pieces of each. The starters were plentiful in portion size, with all choices being great, especially the garlic mushrooms with cheese. For mains we chose a mixed grill, chicken shish, lamb ribs, and chicken wings and chips for my daughter. The chicken and lamb shish were both tender and full of flavour, and the lamb ribs were great. They all came with slad and bulgur (I can only describe it as a cross between rice and cous-cous).The mixed grill was plentiful in size and looked appetising, but my father in law enjoyed that all to himself , so I can only assume it was good. My daughter enjoyed her chicken wings too We were given bread on the table, which was warm and full of flavour too. We were definitely made to feel welcome, and will definitely return. Good to know that they deliver too. We were at the restaurant early (5pm booking), so were the only people in the restaurant, however, there was a constant stream of delivery drivers collecting orders for delivery. It was my daughters birthday the following day, so tye manager gave her a small dessert on the house as well. Parking: A few parking spaces on the street just a couple of doors down from the restaurant , where you use the RingGo App or good old cash to pay for parking.

Loved this place when it was on just eat, doesnt seem to be there anymore which is a shame.

Very unhelpful and unapologetic when an issue arose with our delivery. We ordered a delivery around 5.15 and were advised it would be with us within 45 minutes. After almost an hour I rang and was told it was out for delivery but it did not turn up. When I rang again, I was told Id get a call back but I didnt. After almost 1.5 hours I rang again and the lady I spoke to was very dismissive, advising again that it was out for delivery and that it was not their responsibility now. She became very short and was not at all concerned that we did not have our food. However these were their own drivers and we had paid for delivery. The food eventually turned up and was nice but the service was appalling.

The food at the new & IMPROVED Selale is unbelievably amazing. The quality of the food is unreal, so fresh and beautifully seasoned, you can taste its been carefully sourced. Ive always liked Selale, but its definitely sooooo much better now. Amazing food & the customer service is second to none, honestly cannot rave about this place more. Will definitely be ordering again and visiting soon! Thank you

Decor is a bit drab, needs updating. Most Turkish restaurants Ive been too give free bread at no extra charge, but they didnt.

Needed something to eat before the Theatre, came across this place. Fantastic tasty authentic Mediterranean food, lovely couple running it, very good service and really reasonable prices.

Absolutely terrific food. I have coeliac disease so need to be strictly gluten free and the waitstaff were very good letting me know what they can and can t do for me. Highly recommend it (especially the mixed grill)!

The food is always incredible but they have got a new deal on the menu that means you get the equivalent of 3 extra sides, a cold meze annnnd a main, its a deal for 2 tho for £40 but thats an awesome saving. My starter and main usually come to £19 so for the extra pound I get 3 extra sides. Its amazing!! This place is one of my go to favourite places to dine in Medway, hands down.

Really enjoyable lunch. Attentive staff. Visited again more recently, found the service had slipped significantly and although the food was still good I remember it being better previously. They were very busy this time so perhaps they struggle to cope with increased demand? A little disappointed

Absultley discuting attuied refused to deliver 3.6 miles away from their shop then the person on the phone had a right attuied when asked why very poor service and for visiting highley avoid

Food is super tasty. Have 3-4 options for vegetarian which are all lovely. Staff are really friendly and portion sizes are huge!! Been here quite a few times and every time Ive been there has been great food and great wine. Only point for improvement would be having music to fit the restaurant a bit more, but other than that I have always enjoyed it here.

The food was absolutely incredible and was so nice to see something a little more traditional from a Turkish restaurant rather than the usual selection of grilled meats and rice. The halep and dolma was especially stand out items and portion sizes were more than enough. Couldn t recommend this restaurant any more highly, a must if you are in the area.

Had a delivery from here last night and it was fantastic. Huge portions, prepped and cooked very well. Had the meze to share and there was loads of it. Breads and dips were so nice. Well done 5*

From the moment we were greeted by the proprietor I knew this was going to be a good experience - a very warm welcome! I cant remember the names of the dishes we had, other than moussaka, but all looked good, were excellent to taste & very good-sized portions. Just like home cooking! Will definitely be going back. Just a shame more werent there on a Wednesday lunchtime. Get down there & try it yourself! I dont think youll be disappointed.

Have eaten in this restaurant before a few times and always excellent. Ordered home delivery for the first time tonight (Gillingham) and was still just as good !!. I ordered the steak (medium rare) and was perfectly cooked. The chicken was excellent as well and the bread etc never lets you down. To get the food at home as good as in the restaurant and hot and perfectly cooked is brilliant. Thank you WILL be ordering again .... did order again tonight and honestly was even better .. the steak cooked to perfection, the lamb kofte and shish had amazing flavour and was all delivered hot. Cracking food and WILL be ordering again lolol.

Can highly recommend this turkish/greek restaurant. Mix grill was probably best Ive had. Great food and very reasonable 3 mains 3 drinks and bread humus to start...... £40.

I ve ordered takeaway twice from this restaurant in the past 2 weeks and the food is fantastic. The flavours are authentic and beautiful, food perfectly cooked, still hot on arrival and delivered promptly. They also give you some additional free bits like bread and salad which is a nice touch. Give it a go. It s excellent and deserves some recognition.

Great food at great prices.

This is a place we have been visiting for years now. Food is always up to expectations. Service is good. Prices are very acceptable and portions are big. Always welcomed with warm bread. Four stars as only on one occasion the Kleftiko did not leave to expectations and was disappointing.
