She makes the best abula in town. I have had her ayamase so the kitchen rocks Portions are massive, family sized. Could only manage a quarter. Would have preferred to pay half price and have half. I cannot fault this place as she stayed opened super late once I went to pick up my order
Ordered food from her, great cook
Moi moi is always extremely mushy and soft and I’m not sure why this happens. It’s uncooked and horrible. I’ve even inserted a photo so you can see
My go to Naija restaurant when in Kent. Normally get the Doro Fish, asun and jollof rice. Staff are very professional and lovely. Highly recommend.
Love the food they do here the egusi with pounded yam is amazing, if you like spicy they can rock your socks 😋 but great authentic Nigerian food well worth a try ... spot on
Best Nigerian Cuisine I have had in the UK! Absolutely amazing! The Stout is exactly what you get from Nigeria! Completely loved it
I ordered Efo riro , pounded yam, suya and moin moin. The various meats were so delicious and tender. The Efo riro was perfectly seasoned. The pounded yam was so good. The right texture. The moin moin tastes so good and has lovely fish in it. The portion sizes are very generous. The presentation of the food is excellent. I love the way the suya was garnished with fresh onions and tomatoes. This was my first time and I ordered in person and took my food home. I had my little dog with me and so could not go in to order. But the lady who came to the door and took my order was so pleasant & helpful. I will be visiting again and again. I look forward to dining in with friends in the future. Thank you Silver Spoon Kitchen Update. 14/03/2022 I have had several orders from Silver Spoon since my first visit. I decided it was time to experience eat in. I was made to feel very welcome. I felt very at home in this very pleasant setting. It was calm and relaxing as I waited for my ewa agayin (Togolese beans) and fried plantain with very tender beef. I enjoyed every single mouthful. I'm looking forward to picking up my next order in a few days time.
Good place for getting Nigerian food with the spicy favour which it have in Nigeria. So you are around Chatham and want the original Nigerian food, than this is the place to go. All food was well prepared and in good size servings and the price was perfect, good value for money. Service was perfect and very friendly.
Value for money
They have the best home made Nigeria food
Good food best African restaurant in Chatham
Excellent experience
Provide the best delicious and tasty jollof rice very well cooked and packed with yummy smoky flavours, did not disappoint at all x
The food was total waste of money and the service was very poor .. egusi was the worst I ever eat oil plenty pass the soup Suya testing like abadon meat for long .. the service was very poor they even have to add price on my money till I insist for them to cross check it ..
Amazing good food and brilliant prices! I will be back for more
Food was very tasty, will order from again
Food is bad and getting worse with each order. Egusi taste rancid, Palm oil taste raw. Please change your chef.
I had a very tasty ayamase and rice from them it tasted so good, I m surely gonna be a returning customer
The curry goat was okay not much flavour but we then had a stewed beef which we had to cut the 2 chunks they gave us with a bread knife it was appalling iv ordered here so many times atleast once every 2 weeks now I will never waste my money here again
Best fun place Vegetarian options: Yam and beans
I bought £27.33 worth of food (dinner) from Silverspoon. The Togolese ewa came with no plaintain, the efo riro stew was too salty, the moinmoin tasted rubbish and all the food came delivered with meat only. No assorted meat. I called to complain and was given flimsy excuses over the phone. Please go somewhere else for Nigerian/African food where you will get better value for your money. I haven t tried Tasty in Chatham which l will.
Efo Riro portion sizes are getting smaller but the price is increasing. Pounded yam is undercooked. But worst of all, you order Asaro (yam porridge) and they pour so much stew on the top to disguise the fact they have just put OLD CHUNKS yam pieces in the container and made no attempt to even blend the yam to make porridge. The time spent waiting for the order you would expect the pounded yan to be cooked, and the Asaro to look like porridge. So disappointed.
A nice African Caribbean Restaurant, well located in the ever busy high street of Chatham. A place for young minds and family relaxation.
The service wasn t great and neither was the food. I ordered Amala; the soup was decent at best (Abula), but the Amala was riddled in lumps, it was practically inedible. I tossed it. I also thought it was well overpriced. Shame I didn t ask the price when I placed the order, and neither did my husband who was collecting. I just saw the payment notification and felt robbed!
Egusi soup and fish and plantain is nice but service continues to be poor despite ringing ahead of time to order.
Nice food
If you love African food you can always try this restaurant.
Nice place
Amazing food, amazing people. We have been patronising Silver Spoon over three years, they are always on time to take order and pick up for customers. I will always recommend them.
I love the food there you guys is the best
Nice place
Really amazing and comfy African restaurant
If I could leave no stars I would. Paid £30 for an order that never appeared. Thought Clear directions were given on Uber as well. Order marked as complete even though we re still waiting for the order right now. A theft beyond epic proportions. Very disappointed to be honest Will never order from them again.
Awesome experience! Great food!

It was a delight having a buffet with my friends at silver spoon, I enjoyed it
While I Ladyevex00x was getting my hair done My self & Wendy Ordered Dinner. Oh My Daze I am in heaven. Curried Goat. Rice & Peas with a Side of Plantain...... Delivered Within the hour by a very polite man. Well Done Silver Spoon. This Chefette is Extreamly Impressed and will certainly be reccomding you in the future. Kind Regards Lafyevex00x
Enjoyed the food very busy but is worth going to
Disgusting attitude from staff. Ordered for collection over the phone twice, arrived at the shop for it to be closed and no answer on the phone. When they finally answered their attitude was absolutely disgraceful denying everything. Never use to have a problem but this restaurant has gone way down hill and the staff are obviously not trained in customer service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE RUDE & ARROGANT PEOPLE.
Amazing catering for our wedding. Professional service
Very friendly and good tasting food! I even bought to go
Great job very tasty

Nice but could do with a better ambiance.
Very friendly, tasty meal....good place to eat
Nice place..good food
Shaku shaku with DJ Ralph Raphy was the highlight. Great place
Nice place. Had amala and efo. Although felt the amala portion was a bit large. Also enjoyed the jellof rice. Waiting time was within the projected range
Very nice place African Caribbean restaurant n bar
Lively and good African dishes.
Had pounded yam and okra soup etc at this joint. Last time I had anything this tasty in a restaurant was at the popular food joint in my town back home in Nigeria. Real value for money
Ok
Excellent food and service. I like the fish dish, ayamase (designer stew), and the efo riro will knock your sock off! I rub my feet together as I eat here!
Poor customer service, the man on the desk was behaving as though I was disturbing or came to beg him for a meal meanwhile it was my first time and definitely will be my last time there.
Delicious food, fantastic service.
Really tasty and athentic
Wide variety and average quality
