$68 for the most appalling take away. Chow mein was bland noodles with julienne deli meat and a tiny bit of cabbage. Dry and disgusting. Almond chicken tasted like it was reheated from yesterday’s service. Boneless sweet and sour pork was disappointing. Young woman at counter was lovely. Tipped her well.. hope she keeps the tips, not the kitchen. Huge waste of cash. Bleccch. Don’t bother darkening their doors.
Took my friends and was rudely greeted. Booth was dirty and throughout the dinner we were exposed to cigarette smoke and a large amount of flies. I found it odd the door was left open, maybe to get rid of the flies but the server should know her smoke was coming straight in. My nephew and myself get a bad reaction from tobacco smoke so we were bothered by this. We ordered 3 meals, the egg foo young was hardly edible and covered in salty gravey. The clubhouse sandwich had dry turkey and the French fries were freezer burnt. I can’t speak for the 3rd meal because we didn’t eat it, nor our leftovers. Bad food is one thing, maybe a bad day, but to be bombarded with flies and cigarettes smoke, rudely greeted in a dirty space for over priced food is not worth the time. Maybe they want to run this place in the ground?
I go for Chinese food here, never disappointed me and we continue to go then the staff here are so sweet and if you go as much as we do you'd joke with them like I do.. very much enjoy going here.
Food was very bland. Out of five different items in two combos the beef chop suey was the only thing worth anything. We never even took the leftovers home, because we would have thrown them out. The service was so so, but it was the food that was a disappointment. Haven't eaten there in years and was looking forward to it, as before it was great.
Most disgusting food we've had in a long time. Beef n broccoli was mushy broccoli with chewy Beef. Sweet and sour pork was dried out and no no sauce. Fried rice was not fried, just steamed white rice with bits thrown in. Chow mein was mushy and zero flavor. Essentially gave the whole inedible expensive meal to the landfill. Don't waste your time or money on this place.
They forgot about the order I had just called in 25 min prior so had to wait in restaurant while they prepared it. Brought the food home and was underwhelmed. It was the quality of what you would get in a food court. Chicken chow mein was just noodles with strips of processed chicken on top?? Thr sweet and sour pork was dry and felt like it was a day old, not made fresh while i was sitting in the restaurant. We will not be returning customers.
Not a good place at all for Chinese food, and I am Chinese. The Cantonese chow mein is the worst plate of noodles I've ever encountered. It tasted like phlegm-salty, cold and goopy with no other flavor profile. The noodles were not the proper Cantonese noodles-it actually tasted like stale noodles. We got mushroom egg foo young but it was not the star of the dish- way too much cabbage and parts of it were not cooked. Ordered Wor wonton which is usually a huge dish to begin with - was served in a regular sized small wonton soup container. Will not be returning. Over priced ($73 for 4 wishes) and bland af.
We ordered a few dishes from Wing Café and it was a nice treat compared to our every day meal at home. Currently they’re just doing takeout so be prepared to order ahead.

Love the curry beef but the the old hag working there is horrible, I dont normally leave a tip for pick up orders but I figured the food is good but not again. She has yet to thank me for the tips. Im not cheap and always give 20%. Never has she thanked me. The woman who retired when covid hit was amazing. She used to joke about about delivering to my home in Vancouver by paddling her canoe, lol. Night and day with customer service
I absolutely love going to Wings cafe for their curry! Its actually the only place I will go for curry. Curry sauce is nice and thick and packed with flavour, chicken is never too Crispy! And they have good portion sizes. Always friendly and fairly fast service.
Most definitely THE MOST DISGUSTING hamburger and fries Ive ever had ... wet dripping bun , bland burger and soggy fries. Seriously ... didnt know food could get to this low of a level. Avoid ... go elsewhere. Waitress is amazing, very friendly.

Our 1st time here. Barely heated food, there were teeny tiny bits of bbq pork in our bbq pork rice dish, chow mein was slimey, almond chicken had been clearly reheated and not even barely warm and also very dry. Extremely expensive for 3 dishes. We wont return.

Worst chicken chow mein ever. Steamed noodles, a bit of cabbage and slivers of chicken deli meat. Very bland. Not even soya sauce could help. The ginger beef was good and the service was very good. Potions were a good size but the prices are high.
Under new management and the food is fabulous, best Hot and Sour soup I have had in 12 years!

Day old fries reheated, smallest fish pieces. Two and a half inch long each. They call it 4 pieces fish and chips. Disgusting!! Dont sell if you cannot make an edible product!!!
Worked in Chinatown for years at a great chinese restaurant, so when I go out for chinese, it has to be good. This is good, real authentic flavor, especially the chop suey. A bit dated decor but clean and good service. Good value for the money, dishes are not small, like!
After reading the reviews, my order last night must ve been on a missed day because it was the worst Chinese food I ve ever had. I placed my order and waited 20 minutes however, once we got home to eat it, it was barely lukewarm at the least, there was no sauce on the sweet-and-sour, it was just dried red colored meat, the chow mein was a big blob that stuck together.No taste at all. Very disappointing. I will not be rushing back for another food order at this restaurant.

My family and I have never had a bad meal from here. We have only ordered take-away chinese food from here and cannot speak for the rest of the menu. The interior of the restaurant is dated but dont let that turn you off, we think it is the best chinese food in the Chemainus/Duncan/Crofton area. The ginger beef is especially good. Now open again for dine in service.
No flavour with anything we ordered. The chicken chow mein was just spaghetti noodles with a slice of chicken sandwich meat cut up on top. Very disappointed! Will not be back. (This was our second time, not sure why I tried it again)
Really great prices. We shared a plate with 3 items: breaded almond chicken (deep fried with a heavy batter but tasty, chicken Chow Mein not great - flavorless noodles with thin slices of some processed chicken on top, and sweet and sour pork which was quite tasty. Very good service though just one server so a bit of a wait. She was awesome. Other items looked good like the burger, fries, and chicken wings.
Authentic Chinese food.
Got take out, Hot and Sour soup, and Sezchuan Beef, was tasty, no delivery, pickup only, but 2 minutes from Best Western, or about a 10 minute walk if you are looking to eat in, friendly staff.

Amazing wonton soup. Ordered the special, beef with pepper sauce and chowmein and receive chicken with oyster sauce and peppers on chowmein. It was wrong but delicious! Can wait to try this place again!
My family loves here! Chicken hot pot is my favorite. Fried rice dishes are best. I appreciate they always wear a mask when they cook.
Food might be good but the employee taking orders is horrible so I didnt get to try it. . New to Chemainus just went there and asked if combo can have substitutions, she said yes. I asked for rice ribs and sechuan beef and she said not that one. She told me several other beef items I could add and I said thats okay I will go somewhere else I turned to leave and she said ya whatever and walked to the back. I couldnt believe an employee would act like that so I asked to speak to the owner. She apologized and I told her that her employee was very rude and if someday she wasnt working there I would come back. When you are in the restaurant business you dont hire employees like that....your business will suffer.
Delicious food, with large portions for a more than fair price - staff were friendly, and the covid safety measures made us feel very comfortable!

It was Friday, so kinda busy when we got there. But we got served right away. I loved the food. I ordered the #5. It was great. It seems like a lot of orders were for pick up. The server was great with my grandsons. I think we had a great time, and a great meal. ;-}

Yummy, what more can I say! Food is always fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. Portions are huge! We usually order a 3 item combination dish to share and are completely satisfied when we leave. This is one of my favorite places in Chemainus and I highly recommend it. If you are looking for fancy, then this is not for you. It is an older but quaint dining pleasure

I ordered off the combo meals, the meal came within expected time to prepare a meal. The food was good not greasy and it was a healthy serving of food. It was a quiet place to grab a late lunch, service was good and people friendly.
Wings and Mrs. Chang have been here forever. My friends and I went here in the 1960s in high school, thats how old it is and I am. Good local cafe with Chinese & Canadian food, good service, plane and simple an you wont go broke eating here. Lunch special between $8 & $10. They also have a bizzy take out so call ahead for your dinner in and pick it up on the way home = WIN

Food is good but take out is better. Service was not that great. It felt like we were inconviencing the waitress and I was there with my elderly Grandmother. Have been before and did not have this experience but made me want to stick to take out.
We treat ourselves to a Wings meal a couple of times a year. I always have the #3 combo and it is always awesome. Sandy always provides great service. If we lived closer we would go more often.

There are not many choices in a small Chinese restaurant in a small town. Fried rice and fried noodles are the basic meals.
Booths were a pretty tight fit, food was mostly grease and deep fried batter. I guess thats what most Chinese food places serve, but no fortune cookies? Disappointed.
Portions are well sized, food was good.

Worst Chinese food I have ever had. (I highly doubt its even real food). Brutal fail of fast-food-Americans trying to make Chinese food. 1st time I threw away 90% of my meal at a restaurant. I honestly dont think you could make a worse choice restaurant-wise. Portions are massive (1 could feed 3 people) and are great if your goal is to die of obesity while eating worst tasting amateur-genetically-modified-science-lab experiment you can find. (If that is your goal there is better stuff out there to eat... basically anything)! The water was decent.
Miserable server over cooked our food and very plain rubbery noodles chewy breading in prawns and almond chicken served with no almonds ans gravy ?? How is it even an almond chicken when we called about it we were given a snotty response by server nothing was done and we will never return or recommend eating there ! Very unsatisfactory!!

Tastiest rice weve had in a while! Almond chicken was great, not over cooked. Sweet and sour was tasty too. Looks outdated but the food makes up for it. Waitress, an older lady, was super nice and talkative. We really enjoyed her service! Will be back for sure!
I tried to like this place but the food leaves a lot to be desired . No love just frozen food deep fried didnt taste fresh at all the noodles are wierd and under cooked the service was surly as it gets . I worked in a restaurant where everything was cooked fresh to order and its not that hard about fifteen bins a wok and everything comes out freshly cooked and delish ! this is not that place . fairly pricy too. Maybe Im just spoiled .
