Weve been going there every week for several years and it continues. **update, we no longer go there for dinner, the prices seem reasonable. we found another place with affordable prices.

Good meal and good microbrewery beer. Beautiful atmosphere and the service is excellent.

Good choice of beers, the staff was very helpful and prepared in answering our questions, choice of food typical of Canadian brasseries.

Incredible experience our server Jonathan I introduced the place it was our first time in the area and we were delighted I recommend this place to everyone and if you can have Jonathan with you you will be delighted

Superbly well eaten. The special poutine with beef is very good. The tacos are excellent. Wide choice of very good beer. Excellent service with a super friendly server.

We arrived at 8:33 p.m., the first thing the waiter said to us was you have 5 minutes to order . We later learned that the kitchen closed at 9 p.m.! 2 correct meal salads, 2 glasses of wine all for $93 with taxes and tips. The service was special. The waiter sits next to me when taking my order because his foot hurts! He then agrees to take an order from 3 guys at 9:10 p.m. when the kitchen is supposed to be closed. We have to ask for glasses of water which are placed with no delicacy at the end of our meal. In short, the other waitresses seemed very pleasant and attentive, unfortunately this was not our experience.

We ate as a family at the end of the service. The portions are generous and the taste is spot on. There is a childrens menu (dish + drink) The choice of drinks is important, especially the beers. The waitress is very pleasant. Parking: Right in front of the restaurant

Really nice place. Good beer and food. I would have liked a slightly more varied choice. The chicken Caesar salad was not available which was a shame. Excellent customer service and affordable prices. I will definitely return. Parking: Not much room but we went to eat around 8 p.m.

We tried the signature beef tartare and the Brisket Burger. It was delicious and Saras service was impeccable. Terrific NEIPA and Rousse beer! We will definitely come back.

Less than ordinary service. It was my second visit in four days to La Voie Maltée in Jonquière, a creative beer bistro. During the first visit, my presence on the spacious terrace was not even recognized within 25 minutes. Due to lack of service, I left around 7:15 p.m., completely ignored, like a ghost. Back in the group, the experience hardly improved. The waiter, without a smile and without any apparent desire to serve us, made our evening unpleasant. All working in customer service, this experience gave us a great example of what is not done. An iPad would have been warmer. The interior decor, reminiscent of Irish pubs, and the signature tartares, which are definitely worth the trip, were overshadowed by the lack of service. Additionally, the beer advice was disinterested, making the recommendation task tedious for our server. The wait time for the food was reasonable, but that didnt make up for the lack of attention and professionalism. I wrote an email to the manager following my first disappointment and, four days later, I have still received no response. Our reactions as a group to the service received were neutral, correct at most, but certainly not enthusiastic. We wont come back to that. Too bad for the brilliantly executed cuisine that it is overshadowed by the lack of service. La Voie Maltée must seriously review its customer service to match its cuisine and atmosphere.

A beautiful micro brewery with original and surprising beers. I love the fjord goose. Poutine with flank steak and shrimp is a really good idea. A beautiful place where I will return when I am passing through the area

Disappointing that the system allows us to make a reservation while the Brasserie is closed. And that it is indicated open on the internet

Restaurant that I recommend. The food is very good but above all the beer is excellent. If you are served by Kassandra then your evening will be perfect. We have been there twice and each time it was a very good dinner.

Four of us had a business dinner and we all enjoyed it, especially the fish tartare. The atmosphere is ideal for a relaxed meal with people that one does not yet know well.

Really a place that I recommend. We had some intolerances and the staff took great care to ensure there were none in our plans. We never felt as if we were disturbing: on the contrary, we were treated with great care ;) A thank you also to our waitress (Sara I think) who was really pleasant in her service. Looking forward to returning to this restaurant very soon :)

Unfortunately we came on a day when there were only natchos and chicken wings. We couldnt take the beers... The surcharge on the nachos is excessive in my opinion.

All is good but expensive. Its the most popular place to drink for local people from Saguenay.

Wow! What a good time we had on the terrace. Everything was good from the drinks to the food. Our waitress was beaming.

Unfortunately, I find that the restaurant has lost some since its beginning. Very good nonetheless but not like at the beginning! The melted lake cheddar has been replaced, the smoked chicken here too... I really miss the first menu.

I always liked going there for a drink... or two! The beer sangria is still delicious :) On the other hand, the musical choice could be revised. We had the chicken wings as a starter and although one of them was still cold, the rest was very good!

I take the trouble to ask reception if Poitous are allowed on the terrace and they say yes. Sitting quietly in a corner, a sleeping puppy, my partner and I have drunk 25% of our drinks when suddenly the manager tells us that dogs are not allowed. We must either tie our dog up to the rain outside the terrace or pay and leave immediately, no discounts, no take-out container, the establishment does not assume any loss or responsibility for the incident. Just dry apologies, pay and leave... Voie Maltée, you have a long way to go in terms of customer service. No more for me and my purchases of products from this brand at the grocery store. Too bad, I was a fan and a consumer.

Excellent micro brasserie with a pub atmosphere with a varied menu in this type of restaurant. Note because it is rare to have a nice tartare menu

Quite expensive, while reading the beers I wanted to try a tasting palette, I understood that it was $5 since it was marked (5) on the menu, with no price. It was actually 5 flavors at $3.28 each. Had I known, I would have just had one beer. The maple red and black were good though. for the food, their burgers are pre-cooked and frozen, they reheat them on the stove, which makes them really dry. The fried squid was more fried than squid and overcooked. The signature tartars are truly the choice at this destination. You cant miss something you dont need to cook. In the middle of our meal, the music was interrupted by a DJ who started shouting his name and playing club music... In a bistro. There wasnt even a dance floor and people were trying as best they could to continue conversing. Oh also there was a camera in the mens bathroom. Enjoy your food!

I had asked for rare flank steak, but I got it completely raw inside and cold, fortunately the shrimp starter was perfect.
