Les 3 propriétaires ont su mettre en oeuvre leur créativité afin de vous proposez un décor grandiose fait à partir d'objets antiques et de confection artisanale. Nous vous proposons une immersion culinaire unique et authentique. Nos plats sont cuisinés directement au comptoir vous offrant ainsi une expérience hors du commun. Belle petite place. La bouffe était délicieuse, à prix honnête. Le staff est vraiment sympathique et c'était agréable de les voir travailler en cuisine, étant assise au bar. La musique était bonne et le décor est magnifique. Une valeur sûre!

Ma première visite fut mémorable. Les plats proposés offrent une explosion de saveurs, préparés avec des aliments frais et de qualités qui raviront les palais les plus exigeants. J'ai dégusté les tartares incluant des ingredients qui sortaient des sentiers battus et ma copine est tombé en amour avec les huîtres (elle qui n'en rafollait pas auparavent). La décoration détaillée du restaurant ajoute à l'ambiance. L'énergie de notre serveuse était incroyable sans parler des drinks qui sont au top! "Buvette chez Arthur" est sans conteste un lieu décontracté et où chaque repas se transforme en un véritable moment de plaisir. Une adresse à recommander sans hésitation. J'aurais ajouté 3/4 ⭐ à ma note si c'était possible.
L’ambiance et la déco est trop bien! Le service était un peu long, mais bien agréable. La nourriture était bien mais pour certains plats c’était ordinaire. Par exemple, le tartare de truite était avec de la truite fumée. Somme toute j’y retournerai 😊
Excellente expérience culinaire. Idéale pour partager. Décor et ambiance originale et intéressante. Seul bémol : le service a été très lent et difficile, quoique courtois. À titre d'exemple, cela a pris plus de 30 mins avant qu'il nous soit possible de simplement commander un apéro. Mention honorable au service de nourriture rapide une fois les commandes prises. Bref, petite déception au niveau du service, mais très belle expérience générale. Je recommande fortement et y retournerai probablement.
Bel endroit chaleureux, musique, décor (mention spéciale pour les toilettes !), ambiance, service, tout est parfait ! La bouffe est excellente et originale et ne ressemble a rien d'autre en ville. Vraiment un bel ajout dans le paysage des restos du Saguenay

I have to tell you that yesterday I ate the best meal of my life! The restaurant La Buvette chez Arthur in Chicoutimi. I didnt know the place but everything is perfect. The ambiance, taste, service and decor are far superior to anything I have seen so far in Saguenay. Wow!!

The dishes are very good but much too expensive for the quantity... they are small portions to share and it is not mentioned on the menu. The service was slow, we waited almost 1 hour before being served. In addition, the team drinks alcohol during service, which is reflected in the quality of service. I was disappointed by this restaurant, which nevertheless had potential...

Trout tartare A real delight
All simply excellent, each dish was an explosion of flavor, there were lots of details on each plate, it was refined. The staff is friendly and the details in the decoration down to the toilets were impressive.

We went with friends to eat at La Buvette on Friday March 22. From the outside, the place seems tiny, tucked away from Rue Racine. But as soon as you enter, you enter the diverse universe of Arthur, an imaginary character who gives the place its soul. The decoration is totally crazy. It feels like a cabinet of curiosities and an antiques store. Even going to the toilet is an experience! Everywhere we look, we discover a new detail. As for the menu, its original and imaginative. There is something for everyone. Theres even oxtail on the menu, but dont bother asking for it, its not available. This is another of Arthurs whims it seems! The refreshment bar format means that only starters are served, however the portions are generous for the price (I took the snails and the arancini and had plenty). The cocktails are also original, with a personalized touch, like the kimchi bloody. I havent tried the shooters, but it seems they are served on themed platters. Finally, its not very big but it guarantees an excellent atmosphere. Congratulations to the owners for creating this unique place. I will definitely go back!
