My favorite location for a break accompanied by an excellent square of dates. Parking: A cool place!

Perfect place to work for an afternoon with a good coffee to round it all off. Service a little cold today but normally its okay. Good place for lunch.

Passing through Chicoutimi we were looking for a place for lunch. We let ourselves be tempted by this cooperative! The dishes are affordable and there is something for everyone! We had hummus to share, lumberjack poutine, and candied onion/spinach eggs benedict. Everything was delicious! Special mention for the fir lemonade which was delicious! Very friendly service, we loved this place! Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian and vegan options to satisfy everyone! Parking: There are places available on the street, but we preferred to park in the public car park located a 5-minute walk away.

Delicious family breakfasts! Very good value for money: we recommend! The only downside is that the air conditioning is set to full blast and cannot be adjusted, which is difficult to bear depending on the corner of the room... its a shame!

Quick stop for a caffeine refill. The staff is courteous and friendly. He knows their product and gives good advice. I will return there without hesitation the next time I am in Chicoutimi.

We came for brunch which was very good. We enjoyed it very much.

The food is good, the drinks too, however the service needs to be reviewed. 2 dishes and 2 beers ordered at the same time, the beers arrive at the end of the dish. Waiting 20 minutes for the main course is not a problem but bring the drinks first! Not when ordering coffees.

Deux tentatives pour déjeuner et deux déceptions. Des pommes de terre pas cuites et froides, des oublis dans la commande et des portions trop petites pour les prix, pas assez doption végane et quand tu demande une alternative on te charge des montants abusifs. Ambiance plaisante si tu aimes le bruit. Nous ne retournerons jamais. 40$ pour deux déjeuners décevants.

The lunch was delicious and the general atmosphere warm. The only negative point was in terms of politeness. When a lady politely asks for a coffee refill, perhaps answer: yes it wont take long. Rather than: when I have time. Can also be used you rather than you . Give me your cup is a bit dry. Its not a big deal, but being polite makes a big difference in a persons day.

The cappuccino there is much better than the one we had in Shawinigan. The croissant and chocolate cake is highly recommended, also the staff is friendly! We take out as we need to go to the mall before 5pm but seating at there are also a good choice!

The service unfortunately forgot or abandoned me. Apparently the waitress took a break. I waited 30 minutes. before I asked for the bill twice . Its a shame because the lunch was good. I even wanted to have more to drink but no one was interested. It never happened to me like that in Quebec. Even the other waiters left my dirty plate in front of my face for 30 minutes. I will come back more

Much Too much noise, the espresso doesnt have a diluted taste, I went there for the cause. But unfortunately I wont go back. The croissants are like the ones from the grocery store.

Generally very good. But Ive already had a mediocre lunch. Tough cooked eggs with cold Dutch sauce and poorly cooked potatoes. But after explaining to the waitress she gave me a 40%. forgiven but does the most.

Lovely find. Extensive menu. Friendly service. Good selection of hot and cold drinks including craft beers. French is the main language, but most staff understand English. ( to my great shame my French is still at failed O level ) Google translate & free WiFi helps

Very slow service, failed cooking of potatoes and much overcooked poached egg. 30 minutes to serve coffee. The staff sat at the counter, chattering and ignoring the customers. Several tables not cleared and left like that for a good hour, it gives the impression that the staff doesnt care a bit about the maintenance and appearance of the place. Every time I come I am disappointed, after having tried the experience 3 times.. I will not come again

Warm filling and almost absent from the mountain of tortillas. Mini portions of salsa and sour cream.. taste OK. Smoothie almost hot but good. Not worth $40... but today, you cant expect anything better. The employees were very friendly and cheerful.

Warm café with excellent hot (and cold!) beverages and tasty dishes (including several vegan choices). You dont have to be in a hurry when you want to eat, but the wait is worth it every time! I recommend the eggs benedict with candied onions, the delicious chocolate fondant, the soy milk smurf, the chai latte and (of course) their range of coffees. Before leaving, spoil yourself by getting one of their coffees for home and if you feel like it, pay in advance for a solidarity soup or coffee for a person in need.

During this year I have been 3 times. The last 2 times?? Before last the potatoes were undercooked. And everything else perfect. Last times. Burnt potatoes and missing cheese on a poutine. As an answer: ho. Thats all. We never came to see if everything was to our liking and there was no coffee stove. You are losing more and more, be careful. It was so pleasant at the beginning.

Magnificent restaurant with several vegetarian or vegan options. It is very appreciated. The lunches and drinks were delicious. Fresh products and everything tasty. The downside, our order was forgotten or not sent, it took more than an hour before we received the lunches. When we questioned the staff to see if there was a problem we were assured that it was correct and a normal time frame. Time was starting to run out. Orders were placed again after 50 minutes of waiting. We would have canceled before the recommendation if we had known. We no longer had time to enjoy. That said, I highly recommend!

The place is very pleasant and the food excellent. Im definitely going to go back there. A problem with the order caused us to stay longer than expected, I didnt find the staff to be very proactive in resolving the problem and communication in general.

Children are not welcome... The waitresses walked past us as if we were not there. After 20 minutes without service, we left.

I have visited this cafe several times and honestly, the prices are reasonable, the service is very good and the coffees are quality too! The only downside is that it is sometimes difficult to get a place because of the crowds. I highly recommend

Nice cafe located in the city center with pleasant ambiance and good service. We often go there for coffee and dessert. They offer a good selection of dessert and snacks. ***If you are a real coffee lover, this is the best coffee in town in my opinion. I am a fan of cardamom*** They do the roasting on site, so its hard to get fresher. You can also buy bags of coffee beans. They have all flavors. The menu also includes meal options for lunch and dinner (breakfast and lunch for European visitors ).

We followed the Routards recommendation to have lunch in this café, The wrap of the day was excellent, as well as the coffee and dessert (chocolate/coconut cake), The staff is friendly and the prices reasonable!

the waitress forgot every second dish, made a mistake in ordering every second drink, never came back to see us and never apologized. And we had to ask for the bill 3 times over 30 minutes to finally get it

The cuisine offered by café cambio is very good! We had the veggie burgers which were excellent. The little pink sauce that accompanied the salad was also very good. The food, service and location are great! Recommended in Chicoutimi! Vegetarian options: The dishes are vegetarian, the burgers offered are made from vegeboulette and the sandwich of the day can be ordered in a veggie or meat version.

If you go to Chicoutimi, this is THE trendy café to go to! The restructuring of the place has taken away a lot of conviviality but it remains THE café of the place!

Update 2022: too bad they are rarely open the offer has decreased a lot, they need to be encouraged, but make sure they will be open before you go there. The Cambio is not a place like any other. This is THE CAFÉ to discover with a relaxed atmosphere and style. A pleasant little terrace. Very good quality food, original recipes, sophisticated, although the menu is simple. For coffee lovers this is also THE PLACE. The service is very variable, completely human, lively and real... On the other hand, dont count on fast service if you are in a hurry because it is not always possible.

Magnificent welcoming café restaurant, the ideal place to meet up with friends or simply to sit down and read or work quietly. Very good coffee, excellent and attentive service. The coffee is roasted on site (you can admire the artisan at work through the large bay window).

Beautiful decor and well located. Very good homemade blueberry jam and good, but not exceptional, lunch dishes. But apart from that, we are big coffee lovers and we were very disappointed with the coffee which is not worth the detour in our opinion! The prices are high for the limited choice, some staff members are very courteous but others less friendly (is there a shortage of staff?)
