We had a family dinner, 13 people. The food was very good and impeccable service from Marie-Claude.

On October 25 our group of 30 people were in a restaurant room. Our waitress was Julie. Despite all the hubbub in the room (changing chairs, viewing, presentation) Julie always kept a smile, demonstrated a lot of professionalism, during the presentation was discreet, etc. We were all very pleased with Julie. A big thank you to you.

The only downside is the price, otherwise very good.

I needed a quick, well-made dinner. I had my fries substituted for breakfast potatoes. Top notch service!

Food is ok. The dessert was simply divine (brownies) and the service was good. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really good.

The Normandin restaurant in Chicoutimi is a real discovery! With its friendly atmosphere, attentive service and delicious dishes, every visit is a pleasure. The varied menu satisfies all tastes, and the quality of the ingredients is felt in every bite. Perfect for a meal with family or friends!

Unpleasant service, stifling heat, half-empty plates and all at an exorbitant price. We had never been on it before by a Norman but the one in Chicoutimi was a horrible experience. (More than $70 for 2 adults who have received the equivalent of a childrens menu!)

Very disappointed with my minced steak which was red inside, and the same thing for my partner, but, thanks to the MANAGER who saved the furniture, offering us a gift card as compensation. BE CAREFUL WHEN ORDERING A GROUND STEAK VERY GOOD SERVICE GOOD DAY.

The couple sitting right next to us advised us that our table had just been left by a customer who had waited too long just to be answered. Average first impression lets say. This improved (the impression) by being answered and served average. A kind of supervisor came to see us 3 times, it seemed professional of her to me. And finally 3 stars for the atmosphere because only 4 tables occupied in total. To come back for after the meal.

Poutine lunch in half a bowl, overflowing because you had to cut the ingredients yourself to eat it. Eggs Benedict on crushed bread instead of English muffin and fully cooked egg. Good service but disappointed with the food, anyone would have done better.

We were a party of 6 and received above normal service from Rachelle our waitress. She was able to anticipate our needs and ensured that we had a good time. She is fast, efficient and funny!

Quite disappointed by the treatment received at the Normandin Chicoutimi Saturday January 6, 2024. We were a group of 25 people and had reserved two weeks in advance to be sure of having a room. When we arrived at the appointed time, we were informed that we did not have a room and we never found out the reason. When booking we were told that we would have the small room and suddenly, the room is not free! And of course, changing locations at 5 minutes notice for 25 people is impossible. So we ate in the passage. Very ordinary for a restaurant not to honor their reservations! Luckily our waitress, Julie, was very helpful and efficient! I dont think I will return to this restaurant.

There are always major errors in orders. They promise you a discount on the next order, but when the time comes for the next order, its impossible to get the discount.

Something is always missing from the order... its unmissable every time I order takeout theres an item missing. (Pancakes, baked beans, fruit, etc.) its disappointing.. when I call I am told to call back the next day that nothing can be done that same day! At least the rest is good.

I appreciated the service, the waitress was great. However the food was the problem. I eat ribs in every restaurant I visit and I must say I was very disappointed with the dish I received. My ribs and my girlfriends chicken dish were both very dry. My ribs were served overcooked, dry and without sauce to cover them. In addition, the sauce that I strangely served in a bowl rather than on the ribs themselves, is not a sauce that was served with pork. The sauce was neither alcohol nor sweet nor spicy/barbecue either.. it was more of a kind of gravy. I would advise you to compare your ribs to those of your competition which is on the same boulevard (sports cage, scores etc.) to see the difference between your dish and that of your competitors. The difference is night and day. Im going to try my luck again eventually with the ribs, hoping that by then, you will have made some changes to them. THANKS

Absolutely avoid salmon Poké bowls. The rice is cold and undercooked, there is almost no salmon and the edamame beans were missing from the dish. They were brought to me afterwards when I said so. Still, for $24 it s a steal!

I advise you to be patient if you go there on a holiday because it is to have a table even with a reservation and also to be served. But the service is good and the food too.

Sunday we went to get a lobster pizza for $58, I have never been so disappointed were looking for lobster

The positive point was the food. For the rest it was average, the very slow service, lack of utensils on the table every time we needed something we wondered how soon it would be back. The restaurant was not full at all, the tables all around us had to be cleared. It wasnt a disaster in any way, just making improvements would be nice. We left 15% out of respect for his sales declaration but it wasnt worth it at all.
