1st time staying here. Great location... across the street from a huge grocery store, SAQ around the corner, restaurant in the hotel has good food. The staff speak English ! Very clean hotel with rooms off the pool area. Bathrooms have heated floors. For snowmobilers, the trail is right off the parking lot. I would definitely recommend this place !

Came here during a weekend trip to Québec and found this on a couple lists of places to eat. We were not disappointed!We arrived on the first day they opened up the patio so the service was quite slow at first, however, the server was lovely and we were on holiday and in no hurry.

Salmon filet (if,in fact, that is what it was) was grilled and microwaved beyond recognition! It even looks like it started with freezer burn! Terrible service from it taking ten minutes to be seated on a quiet Wednesday evening!

The food, I dont have much to say, it was very good. As for the service, I have rarely been so disappointed. Mistake after mistake, some received their dish even though 90% of the table had finished eating. Errors on invoices, drinks that remain on the counter and dont arrive unless you ask for them again and again. In short, youll eat well, but dont expect service worthy of a good restaurant.

I give stars mainly for the wonderful Guylaine who is exceptional!!! But honestly for what we pay we expect a lot better in terms of food....The starters were ok but nothing more. But what about the main courses... vegetable boff, overcooked and lukewarm steak with a kind of vegetable gravy on top which had no place....lobster tail at $24 extra which had barely 2 butcher and which also has another vegetable gravy style olive onion chili on top which absolutely ruins everything, you cant taste the taste of lobster... all in the same dish nothing that doesnt match together... When you pay $300 for dinner you expect a minimum of meaning on your plate... With certainty I will never go back there...

Impeccable service, our waitress Adelia was perfect. The land and sea platter to share (2 people) was succulent and the starter of fondant flambée brie was perfect. No complaints, perfectly satisfied with our visit.
Very very long service. For a Monday evening, we had a large table, 2 waitresses, and it took us 45 minutes to get beers and 1 hour before seeing the starters... On the other hand, the dishes were delicious.

Concept of sharing meals really makes a change and really good. The shared grill menu is very good, I will definitely come back with friends. Adding paintings by regional artists to the walls would add a more pleasant atmosphere.

Guylaine is incredible, I loved her service and her good humor On the other hand, for a grill restaurant, the cooking of the meat was rather disappointing. Not hot but overcooked, as if it had just been reheated for a few seconds. I wouldnt have said anything if my order was $25, but I got the Ground Grill Mix for over $50. All the meats were dry :(

The decor is superb, although certain sections could use some ambiance in terms of lighting and sound. The goat cheese and pesto fried mussels are surprising! A tasty amalgamation and the quantity was perfect. The waitresses were all smiling although some made us more comfortable than others. The section changes a lot of things for the atmosphere. Several corners have little or no atmosphere. On the edge of the window, we feel like we are being punished

We arrived at the Saguenénne hotel around 6 p.m. Seeing that the restaurant was rather quiet (practically empty), we decided to take a table around 6:45 p.m. At first glance, the service was impeccable and the waitress particularly friendly. However, everything quickly became much less happy. We order our meals after waiting 45 minutes/1 hour... phew. At this time, there are only 2 tables left in the restaurant. Around 9 p.m., we start to get impatient, because the main dishes did not arrive (something, it seems to me, normal after 2h15 of waiting) We ask the waitress why there is this famous wait. She informs us that this is normal because she has another table than us to serve and that the waiting time is caused by the fact that we (less than half of the people seated at the tables) ordered entries. The room manager/supervisor ended up coming to see us, seeing the general discontent was growing. He informed us that the wait was due to the fact that we had not reserved in advance at the restaurant. Which explains, according to him, the wait of more than 2 hours in this restaurant which is notable for the absence of customers... 20 minutes later, the plates finally arrived at our table. The portions are okay, but what about the cooking of the steaks... Especially for a... steak restaurant... oops! We finish our plates around 10 p.m. and what follows is a burlesque adventure to pay our bills... Impossible to pay them one after the other... We must respect a precise order according to the system, referring to the price of each bill In passing, this only spices up the evening even more for a group already tired of its very average experience... Honestly a shame, especially considering the price of the meals offered. I dont recommend unless you like meals that stretch...

Nous avons pris l assiette gargantuesque terre-mer avec le Tomahawk. Cuisson parfaite, rub bien salé parfaitement exécuté, belle présentation. Même le poulet et les légumes grillés étaient bons (ce qui dans un steakhouse n est pas peu dire!). La facture peut sembler chère, mais c est un excellent rapport qualité/quantité/prix. Très bon service également.
Unfortunately much too expensive for the quality of the meal. We took the land and sea grill mix and it seemed to be reheated. The food was barely lukewarm. Only the baked potato was hot. The people with us at our table experienced the same situation. We didnt have the right accompaniments requested either. The shrimp and salmon were good despite the lukewarmness. The pepper sauce is delicious but the steak is a beginners steak. The raised sides were good but had just been reheated and only the sauce added on top was lukewarm. The Calabrese sausages were burnt and looked like they had been reheated. The service was good and the restaurant is nice and clean. The bathrooms are clean too.

Ultra disappointed with my beef tartare, Im not a big eater, but this is minimalism!!! Ordinary taste, tiny portion, so much so that I thought there was a mistake with the starter. The half chicken that my partner chose was good. By the way, whether for food or wine, there was nothing available! My experience is saved by Lauries skill, dedication and desire to find a positive solution. An attentive, courteous, kind person who offered me a goats cheese salad and made sure our experience became pleasant. I might add that the staff in the room are very friendly. That said I would not recommend this expensive restaurant chain. Very poor value for money.

Buffet lunch due to lack of staff, incomplete buffet (missed eggs, potatoes, fruit, baked beans, semi-cold toast and didnt even have bacon. For 2 people 33 dollars.

Filet mignon at $40 ok but unable to chew it and full of nerves is a no. No homemade bread or baguette, the small round loaf in its plastic packaging makes a small canteen. Meals for over $100 on a paper placemat grrr. Impeccable waitress. Value for money 0.

Easter brunch at $25 per adult. Very ordinary food, very poor value for money. For such a special day, it would have been better to add more. Nothing appealing, cold toast, cold and hard pancakes instead of crepes, fruit soaked in a syrup that diluted the good chocolate. A good ham but a tasteless syrup. Dry scrambled eggs, probably made from powder. I wont get caught next year. For the same price, there is better elsewhere and for the same meal, there is cheaper elsewhere. In summary, very disappointed. The only pleasure, the people I ate with.
