HingLung Chinese restaurants
Pretty sad little meal for 50 (2 person combo) very little meat. Chop suey had old cauliflower and half spoiled broccoli. Very off tasting. Not a great start for a new location.
Unfortunately this place cheap out the sauces and the portions of food. Sweet and sour pork was p Boneless pork with a side of S&S!!! Seriously, how cheap are you ? Spring rolls should be 5 pieces but hard times it's was only 4 ! The ginger beef was lacking the sauce usually in it . The new dishes are alot smaller but higher pricing. I will not be ordering from this place. I guess I should listen. To other about going with capital for Chinese food. Lesson learned here. I also forgot during my rant , the food was barely warm to cold !
1st time visit. Ate in. Ordered from the Combination Section#1 and #3. The restaurant was sparkling clean. Service was prompt and pleasant. The food was nicely presented, hot, fresh and flavorful. Both western cutlery and chopsticks provided. Had to ask for plum sauce for spring rolls. We both agreed our experience was very positive and will return.
We had family that came in late last night. We ordered right near closing and still received amazing, delicious Chinese take out. Everything was super fresh and tasty. The service was very friendly and accommodating. Look forward to visiting HingLung again.
We were already in the restaurant, and we checked reviews to decide what to order and were surprised me with reviews. We ordered for two: spring rolls, beef, chow mein, and sweet and sour pork. Everything was delicious with generous portions and variety of veggies. Usually, Chinese food upsets my stomach, but this was clean and tasty, and I didn't experience any MSG issues. Some reviews mentioned blandness and tastelessness, possibly due to less MSG. If someone used high MSG, salt and sugar maybe those felt little bland. But it was perfect for us. I didn’t have to feel food coma, excessive water drinking. So I was very happy and satisfied. I’m going to leave 5 starts considering the quality, service, portion sizes, and taste, this place deserves a solid 5 star
My wife and I are totally enjoyed the wonton soup with noddles also the most delicious shrimp fried rice. Thank you Lily, John and William’s great service! I have found the owner is a great cook based on the dishes he has cooked for us. We will be back for sure! I would like to recommend Hing Lung to all my friends and anyone who enjoys Chinese dishes!
If you are looking for great Cantonese style (Chinese) food, this might be exactly up your alley. It is not overly greasy or heavy food. The flavours are fantastic and the aromatics that combined well together. We especially liked the chicken, mushroom &egg swirl soup ( highly recommend on a cold day ). We had Kung Po Chicken and just the right amount spice. We look forward to trying more dishes. They also have Bubble Tea with several flavours.
Went for dinner here today and was happy with the meal! Service was amazing and the portions were huge, we came home with leftovers. Great place to go if you want to share some dishes with friends. The food was fresh, hot & very flavourful! Will definitely be coming back as well as recommending this place! At the end of the meal, our server took 10% off as a Chinese New Year discount.
Best Chinese in Chilliwack
Serious 2 chicken wings with order as a side small portions in comparison to others 60$ for dinner for 2 i thought for 60 dollars you would get a little more for what you pay very stingy. 6 dollar delivery fee 7 mins away i thought they were across on the north side until i actually looked wtf! It was meh! I gave 2 stars for the TWO wings cheap af.
Currently the best Chinese food in Chilliwack.
We have ordered from here a few times. It was pretty good but tonight was waaay better. I think maybe they must have a new chef?
This was the first and last time ordering from here. The fried rice extremely greasy and had chunks of fat in it. The Singapore noodles tasted burnt and the ribs were all fat and the bbq pork chop suey had what looked like bacon or side pork in it. Was disgusting and ended up throwing it all out. What a waste of money
Awesome takeout and generous portions! We are looking forward to working through their menu!
Best Chinese in chilliwack
We ordered from your restaurant last Friday night and were very happy with all we ordered. Will definitely order again!!!!
Best Chinese food in town, period.
Called for pick up & still waited almost 40 more minutes for my order! Food was good except for the sweet & sour sauce, no fortune cookies & asked for extra soy sauce only to get 3 little packs, the wait time is bull
Love the new location and everything is also so fresh and great.. weve been eating at Hing Lung for a couple years and we wont eat any other chinese food!
Delicious food and huge portions.
I ordered crispy ginger beef, crispy Tofu, mushroom Fu Yung and vegetarian chop Suey. It was all very good and the portions were larger than average. The ginger beef was excellent!
: Pan Fried Rice Noodle w/Beef (Beef Chow Fun) was extremely good. Oily with a good wok hei and lots of flavor. This is exactly how I like it. BBQ Pork Fried Rice was also very good. Nice pieces of BBQ Pork and the rice also had that smoky wok hei. Ginger Beef was good. Not the best Ive had but the pieces of beef were large and it was flavorful enough. Sweet and Sour Pork was good. Not the best, but definitely not the worst Ive had. : Boneless Pork with Peppery Salt was not good and was expensive too. The pork breading was under fried. Soggy, raw breading inside and was under seasoned. It didnt have the expected peppery taste I like when I get this dish from other restaurants. House Special Egg Fu Yung would probably have been good but this was burnt. Actually had a bit of nearly black char on it. They were busy, could be why. General Taos Chicken was alright but way too similar to the Sweet and Sour Pork in flavor. I was expecting more from it and hope they change the recipe as Id like a place in Chilliwack to do this dish right. Overall, good. Ill be back to try other stuff. Congrats on the reopening!
I ordered bbq pork fried rice, chicken chow mein, almond chicken and sweet and sour pork with the sauce on the side and it was absolutely delicious. This is my new local place to get cantonese cuisine. Traditional flavors that remind you of the food you got with mom and dad as a kid.
Everything tasted great and staff was friendly and atmosphere was great! Highly recommend Will definitely be back !
We had the Wonton Soup, Chicken Balls, Beef noodles with black bean sauce, and pork sul mai. Was so good !! 10/10 would recommend.
First time trying this place. Prior to their Young Rd. locations fire, I had heard they served the best Chinese food in Chwk. Was not disappointed. Everything was hot & fresh, not too greasy. Really liked their sweet & sour pork, & chow mein. Will certainly be back. Also, glad to have them in our neighborhood in Sardis!
Very good food. We have been looking for a decent place in chilliwack for chinese, and we found it
Great taste great service 100% recommending best Chinese food in chilliwack very reliable price
Went on the opening day at the new location for lunch. It was delicious and plentiful.
Good prices. Friendly family business. Great for weekend take out Food : 5/5
Very good food and service, restaurant is cute
Okay I had to write this as I was totally surprised on this place. I remember to old place, food was going downhill fast. New owners took over, cleaned the place up and the FOOD! We did take out for Christmas, dinner for six and after tip the meal was under $125. I ate a heaping plate round one, round two a normal plate size. I was in pain I ate so much. It was all fantastic. We had -4- of us for dinner, two of us eating way too much. Left overs next night? Enough again for four of us. I just found my new favorite Chinese place in Chilliwack hands down.
Spent 100 and they messed up the order gave me pork instead of chicken and no sauce and I dont eat prok always double check your order when picking up sorry but I will never order from here again
They don t answer the phone so how can you order for take out?
Very delicious! Growing up in the lower mainland with Richmond and Burnaby offering me a good standard on Chinese food, I am disappointed to say the least with anything I ve tried in Langley/Abbotsford ect me and my partner decided on Chinese yesterday and I was a bit apprehensive to go ahead with it. After reading some of the raving reviews regarding the chow mein (which looked very similar to the chow mein I love from Mr.Ho in Burnaby) it was game. We got the house special fried rice, almond chicken, chicken chow mein, beef and broccoli and pan fried dumplings. We were quoted 45 min and it ended up taking an hour in total so be prepared to wait or come a bit past the quoted time. My goodness, the beef and broccoli was delicious! The house special fried rice was equally as delicious and the chow mein did not disappoint! I ve been very disappointed with how chow mein gets prepared at the Chinese restaurants in Langley, Abbotsford ect and I found it s all boogery and just awful the way they prepare it here is identical to how I prefer it, basically with dark soy sauce and just delicious enough to warrant a positive review. I am giving 5 stars only because it s the best one I ve ever tried past Langley going east and I couldn t recommend it enough. The pricing is standard, me and my partner spent $70 and have a generous amount of leftovers for todays dinner round 2 haha! Sorry no pictures because it s been demolished . Vegetarian options: Menu provides vegetarian options Parking: Parking in the back
Wow...fell for all the 5 star reviews. Will never order from here again. You know the saying...if you cant say anything good about something then dont say anything. If those 5 stars think it was so good then they sure as heck have never had really good Chinese food.
Its not bad chinese food, but its certainly not good. Usually one of my last choices in town, but at the very least delivery is typically fast and the pricing is okay. Not worth going too unless youre really craving and nothing else is open.
Hot and fresh Chinese food. Very friendly staff. We will be back
Delicious food The black pepper beef was really good. Delivery was ahead of schedule.
Its my fave. Their chicken balls are full of chicken unlike most places. And the sweet n sour chicken is really yummy(its like sweet n sour pork but chicken) Fried rice is always good. The almond chicken is good too with a unique sauce with it. Chow Mein is good. Check out the menu online to help you decide. You can order takeout for pick-up online for free without paying extra for skip or door-dash. Parking: Its around back and you can enter from the back or front
Best Chinese in town ! Love love love this place Food
What a gem of a restaurant for Chinese food. We had a starter, shrimp dumplings followed by family combo B for 2. Everything was hot, fresh, non-greasy and very, very tasty. Portions were very good (we had to take some home - not that we minded.) Service was very good despite being very busy with takeout/pickup orders. We highly recommend Hing Lung. This is now our go to place for excellent Chinese food. Vegetarian options: There are vegan dishes available, for example Mushroom Fuyung and someTofu dishes as well. Parking: Parking is at the rear of the restaurant and there is plenty of parking available.
Best Chinese in town!! Fast & fresh. Plus, they have vegan options. Cant beat it!!!
Picked up some food, fast polite service and food was delicious!
Great food, I will go back for more.
We had spring rolls to start, which were greasy and tasteless. The almond chicken had an unpleasant taste The egg Foo Yong was tolerable and the only thing edible in the chop suey was the broccoli.
Loved all my choices. Fresh
Best Beef abd Broccoli in town hands down. As well as other items. But this is my favorite go to
Very good food . I ve ordered twice and both meals were excellent, generous portions and prices seem affordable, I would recommend to all who are looking for some quality food
beyond impressed with our dinner last night, my wife and I use to think there wasnt a single decent place in chilliwack for chinese food, but after ordering from here I dont think well go anywhere else again! 10 out of 10
Good food wish I didnt cost me 10 dollars delivery plus everything way to much money come on we all living paycheck to paycheck and cant afford 75 dollar meal for 3 where do they make these prices???? Very bad business charges way to much.
First time having Chinese food in Chilliwack. It was alright, nothing too crazy. Definitely better than Missions Chinese food places!
Will order take out again.
There is good Chinese food and then theres great Chinese food! HingLung falls into the latter category :) Their Chow Mein trumps all others. A family favorite for sure!!
Great food and service, one of my favorite places to go in the area ?.
No cutlery had to eat with my fingers called and got the answer you have to ask ...its fast food ... Ya lost my business Good luck
Veggies were fresh and crisp, wonton had flavour but the dishes overall were over salted and had a powdery flavour (possibly too much starch) Decent place if youre coming from a smaller town but if youre from the bigger cities it may not meet your expectations. Overall the place was clean the server was courteous and the service was quick. Id give the place 2.5 - 3 starq
I usually try to hold out on Chinese food until I can get into Vancouver, but every once in a while I get a craving, so I just took a chance because you never know when a hidden gem shows up. This is not one of them. Looking at the menu, I understood that this would be a westernized Chinese offering, which is cool because I enjoy this type of cuisine as well. A) Sweet and sour pork was dry, lacked seasoning, sauce was watery B) Almond chicken was dry, thin and had no colour (pale, no browning) C) BBQ Pork chow mein was the only edible dish, however the bbq pork was dry and lacked flavour, very oily noodles. The prices for the quality and quantity is just ridiculous. Even T&T supermarket ready-made food is better, trust me. When in Chilliwack, just curb your cravings for Chinese. There arent any good ones out here.
Tasty food and nice friendly experience.
Was told wait would be 1hr and 15 for my ordered. Ended up being over 2 hr and 15 minutes. Waste of time. Never coming back.
Worst service I have experienced in a restaurant. I understand that it is busy on mothers day dinner time but we waited for water for 15-20 min. We had to ask them to wipe the table because it felt sticky and dirty. After waiting 1 hour we asked for a tea refill and they just filled the teapot with hot water and it was bland. We waited 1 hour and a half for food in total with two toddlers. We got two plated of food but proceded to ask when the next plates were coming and they said 10 min. We decided to leave because waiting 10 min for the rest of our plates is not appropriate. All we got was an Im sorry from the server.
HingLung has very good food
Just awful. Take it from a Hong Kong boy. 4 dishes $65 and can t decide which dish was worse. Cantonese have a word for this: lap sap .
Awesome food, friendly staff. Combo A is the best!
Good food, but I think the restaurant could use a good cleaning.
Very slow food preparation. The kitchen staff seems to be either extremely slow or overworked. The cashier is friendly and polite apologizing for the delay in our food preparation. I would not recommend this business and I did send the business correspondence related to my concerns and suggestions to potentially remedy the deficiencies. I wish them luck but I will choose other restaurants until I hear they have improved.
Pineapple chicken fried rice was really oily and each bite tasted burnt. The pineapple chunks were pale in colour and the taste was bland. No juicy sweetness taste at all in the pineapple. However, the lemon chicken was great! Thats why Im giving a 3 star rating.
Best Chinese food around, low key dining
The food we got here was absolutely disgusting. We had to throw it in the trash as we did not find it edible at all. Based on the reviews Im just wondering if we hit a bad day.
Best takeout Ive found so far here. Love it!
Not cheap , very good food
Fabulous foods. Second visit here and loved everything. The best almond chicken Ive ever had!
The only thing I eat from this place is the Singapore vermicelli, vegetarian, with no egg... which makes it vegan. Much better to eat in than take out cuz I feel you always get more on your plate when you eat there and its the Chinese restaurant experience if you know what I mean lol Vegetarian options: you can get a Singapore vermicelli, vegetarian, with no egg... so vegan!
Really good food. They make dishes that are closer to authentic and further from western-style Chinese food. Prices are maybe just a tad high but not terrible. Update Oct 2022. Just had another wonderful meal here. Its needs an updating inside ie decor but the place seems clean. Its always busy with takeouts.
Not very good
First time trying it. Chowmein and shrimp were awesome. Veggies dont make it. I have never had celery in Chinese food and it had lots. I cant stand celery in my veggies or in soup. No where to park.
Delivery fees are expensive here
For two persons, we ordered 3 dishes We had a really good time, food quality is top notch. Also we took some left overs home.
Best chicken Chow Mein! And always great customer service from staff! Especially the young lady, I didnt realize it was almost time to close but she was happy to help me anyways. Food
Vegetarian chow mein. Not a vegetable in sight...
I really like the food here
Food was fairly tasty.. no fortune cookies or rice served with any dishes. A little expensive for what you get but what isn t these days?!
My words are not enough to tell you how AWESOME their food is. They said there is no good in Chilliwack, but it is not true, theres a good place like this. Their food is absolutely amazing, love their Chicken Chow Mein, Almond Chicken, and Beef Broccoli, very nicely done.
Pretty humdrum experience overall. The food was bland and not much to the atmosphere. The service was good but thats about all.
Excellent food. Good staff
Wasnt too sure about this place as we had not tried it before. We were very pleased with the offerings. We ordered 6 dishes for 6 people and the food was fresh, hot and arrived fast! Happy to say well be ordering from here again and likely to recommend!
Its always risky taking a new chance on a restaurant (especially true for chinese) but all in all we were impressed with the quality of the food / price / and quick delivery time. They did deliver it with a reasonable amount of time. We tried to contact the other chinese place we usually buy from (capital) and after 14 calls and busy signals forever they lose my business that night (maybe for future purchases as well). Have a good product, good service, fair pricing and obviously good tasting food and you can keep people happy. Judging by their 4 star average over 170 reviews to date i see on google they have done a good job. I would not hesitate recommending this restaurant to friends and family members.
First time ordering from here and its the best Chinese food weve had. Food was delicious and hot. Tonight is new years eve and they are so busy and the fact the quality of food is this high tonight says something. Its been 30+ years since Ive had proper almond chicken that is even served with gravy. The house dishes are amazing and the ginger beef, mmmm. Till the next time
Well, what can I say. The dishes are really authentic and full of flavour. I had their chow mein noodles and I just loved it. My personal favourite is to add some vinegar before eating. Haha I love this place.
Disappointing. Chicken balls werent real chicken, tasted like tofu, had a spungy texture. Super disappointed in all the food. Egg rolls tasted like they were boxed pre made frozen. (Very small/soaked in oil) Definitely dont recommend eating here. Food courts have better food than this. Too pricey as well for the quality of food.
Fresh and delicious, not heavy and greasy, best spring rolls I ve had.
Very good food. Nice flavors and fresh ingredients. My only gripe would be the seafood and tofu was over cooked a bit.
I cant believe its taken me this long to find this place. The food is so good. I had spring rolls, veggie fried rice, and honey garlic chicken. The food tasted fresh and so delicious! Quick service too.
Our 1st time here since it was named K & Y Gardens. All items were great! The Chicken Balls had nice chunks of chicken inside a light batter, the Rice was cooked good and the Wonton Soup was super great! I recommend them! Well be back!
Great tasting food.
Best I have ever eaten to date
Every dish was a isappointment!! Sweet and sour pork had no flavor and was runny.... no flavor with the chicken chow mein or Wonton soup. Ginger beef was spicy without flavor. Broccoli was mushy in the beef and broccoli. Spring rolls were greasy and gross. Never again!!!!
Stopped by on my way to the interior and did pick up service. The food was very, very delicious! I will definitely stop by again. Thank you
We ordered dinner after reading the reviews. Big mistake! The worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. We threw it out could not eat it. What a waste of money and time.
I usually order their house special fried rice, it is so good must try it. The quantity and quality of food is excellent, the staff is so friendly and takeout is fast and convenient in ordering and picking up. I recommend everyone to try their menu...
Ordered from them tonight and at first they said it would be ready for delivery at 6:15, and then they changed it to 6:30 and then again for 6:45. We finally got it at 7:10pm. They gave us 2 containers of fried rice instead of 1 container of rice and 1 container of chow mein. They gave us some tofu dish instead of our spring rolls. The food was lukewarm and tasteless.
Loved it..
We have been trying to support local small restaurants during the pandemic and while still edible, I think this is the worst Chinese Food I have ever had. I have lived in Chilliwack for years and have always wondered about this place. The sauces were suspect and had the strangest flavors. There was some gravy that came with what was supposed to be almond chicken that was transparent and like a slightly less stable jello. I guess if I had to say something nice I would say the spring rolls were pretty decent.
Consistently delicious Chinese food everytime. The portions are good for what you pay for. Love their fried rice and the beef with mushrooms was tasty. Some dishes dont quite land though. I ordered the deep fried squid with peppery salt and found that the batter was too thick and not crispy at all; it was quite oily to eat. I do really like their covid precautions, and it reassures me that they wear masks when interacting with customers/pickup drivers.
We ordered a few simple dishes, chicken chow mein and a rice noodle dish with beef. The food was greasy tasteless and was not worth the cost. We would not ever order from here again.
Freshly made dishes every single order ! Willing to work with allergies , friendly owners and staff who are about their customers . Love this place
The food is always so good. Its nice to have after a late work day and I dont. Want to cook but am super hungry and dont want take out. Its always very well done and I dont get any wires or bones like some places. *knocks on wood*
Disgusting, sorry could not give a zero. Deep fried wontons had almost no filling and accompanying sauce was dreadful Chicken curry was dry, as was the chicken and some of the chicken appeared to be off. Fried rice was lumpy, stodgy and inedible. Never again
Best Chinese food Ive had in a long while. Was not greasy at all. The honey garlic pork was actually all pork, not a little piece of pork smothered in batter. Prices are fair.
Ordered from this place tonight for first time. Was very good....delicious sauce with almond chicken. We did beef and broccoli, honey ribs, almond chicken, chicken chow mien and veggie fried rice. Each dish excellent and we enjoyed it all! Will be ordering again.
Great food good.prices customer service excelent
The food was ok .next time I hope to get better service as well
Told 1/2, more like 1 hour for pickup order. Almond chicken rubbery with almonds thrown on top of chicken, dry and no coating. Half the order, as the container had a container of sauce in with it, tasteless. Deep fried prawns the size of shrimp. If I could give a 0 stars, I would. Highly do NOT recommend.
Ordered for the first time tonight. Honestly, not that great. Almond chicken was dry, thin and rubbery. Kid wouldnt eat the fried rice (and she always eats the fried rice). Was relatively expensive and quality was just not there. Will not be returning.
Yeah good, not bad. A good amount of food, not oily. So I would recommend this restaurant.
Just moved to chilliwack and this was the first place I ordered asian food from. The sweet and sour pork was brown and pale and tasted nothing like sweet and sour. The honey garlic pork tasted and the colour was the same as sweet and sour pork just a tad sweeter (literally the same dish lol) And wonton soup was so bland I d rather eat mr. noodles. Food quality was below poor and pricey. Quality and price don t match. I d rather eat food court food or Salvation Army. Now traumatized and have low expectations in Chinese food in Chilliwack. This place is the restaurant version of Canada s worst driver lol
The food was excellent & fresh we will be back.
Not sure how this place gets over 4 stars but its not that good. Im being kind with my 2 stars. Service, mediocre. Food, sub par. The restaurant it self, out dated. Overall, wont be going back.
Thank you for the great experience you provide. I have to say I really enjoy the food and the nice environment
Ordered bbq pork fried rice and sweet and sour pork Pros 1. Food was hot Cons 1. Sweet and sour pork Very bland, very tasteless. The outer fried layer fell off like it was old chicken skin soaked in water. The sauce tasted more like watered down red pineapple juice. 2. Pork fried rice, more like soft pork sticky rice. Very gummy texture also bland. The food does look good in pictures so you can trick everyone on instagram.
Always delicious and authentic. Best in Chilliwack in my opinion.
not bad
You would be best to avoid this place . We ordered for the first time from here and returned it . I had 4 bites and it was disgusting , at least they refunded our Money
Ita decent but nothing special.
Ordered delivery May 2nd 2020. Worst Chinese food I have ever had from them. The fried rice was a steamed and mushy mess, dry garlic ribs were coated in batter and had too much garlic powder. Phoned to complain and suggested that during this time of Covid they should be putting out quality food to gain build a reputation, not gouging you $60.00 plus $10.00 for delivery! Never heard back from the manager, or any follow up. If I were the owner I would be looking for both a new chef and manager!
Service over the phone and delivery to vehicle was very friendly and prompt. The quality of the food was excellent, very flavorfull, authentic and just plain tasty. Portion size was ok, wouldnt describe them as generous but not complaining either. Overall was a good experience. Will definetally be ordering from here again.
I grew up in Richmond, and have been biased to good Chinese food. The dishes were totally natural, and full of flavor. Ordered take out, as that s how life is right now with Covid. This restaurant has overdone themselves; everything was in packages for easy sanitizing, they advised me to call when you get into the parking lot, and to drive to the back door. I called, and the lovely woman in a mask brought the food out, and even asked about tip amount before holding up the visa machine. The fact that they were so respectful and safe, I would drive out and order again. The fact that all dishes were amazing was great. Ordered dumplings, chicken chow mein crispy noodles, chicken almond guy ding, dry garlic spareribs, and house special fried rice. I even really liked the rice, and it s not part of my fav s on the list ordered. Thank you to the chef and staff for amazing food. And to your staff for such a safe take out option!!
We are mostly plant based eaters and our teenagers will add chicken and sometimes beef but no pork. Ordered seven items ($104 with a 15% tip), one was a call back to say they did not have anymore . Chef special and was not available when we ordered at 5 pm. The order took longer than expected. Szechuan Style Tofu had pork in it. No bean sprouts in the chop suey, veggies over cooked in a peppercorn gravy. Received Sweet and sour pork instead of chicken balls. Over cooked pan fried noodles, extra crispy in a peppercorn gravy, Chow mein was also in a gravy. I give it one star because I ordered North American Chinese and got vegetable and noodles in a hearty gravy so I guess it s appropriate....I ate it with biscuits.
We tried new dishes, forgoing my absolute favourite Hotpot with chicken & ginger. We had BBQ pork chow mein, Lemon chicken, and Ginger beef. The best chinese food I have had in Chilliwack. Always fresh and so tasty.
Food is decent but portions are extremely small
The food was good and hot when I picked it up and was ready pretty much when they said it would be. Nice treat for a change.
Soo delicious i will order again
Yummy food quick delivery
Ordered two dishes, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Ginger Beef Chop Suey, and an appy, egg rolls. The Pros: Egg Rolls were delicious The Cons: The sweet and sour chicken was bathed in a pineapple sauce full of pineapples and green peppers .....that s right, GREEN PEPPERS!! Which totally spoiled the flavor of the sweet and sour chicken. Then the same thing in the Ginger Beef Chop Suey.....the green peppers were the only vegetable in the dish, aside from three slivers of carrots and 5 onion slices. The ginger beef was tasting of the green peppers, which is great for green pepper lovers, but not for those who like to, not have that taste all over their food . On top of that, the strips of ginger beef didn t taste like beef at all and were so full of gristle that we threw it all out. Pretty expensive learning experience. You will love this place if you re all about the green pepper experience !
We ordered take-out for the first time from this restaurant and the food was excellent!
Food and pickup service were reasonable. Beef was tough and fish batter really salty. Otherwise fine.
Good food
Just ordered food for the first time, no disappointments. Food tastes really good.
This food is awesome. You know the food is good when you dont have to buy a meat dish to add flavour to the food.
Bao Buns are good. Wonton soup is terrible. Near flavorless. The quality of the meats in the wonton soup taint the flavor of the whole soup. The beef is chewy, livery and bloody / irony tasting. The prawns taste like they were thrown in the soup cooked from frozen. The chicken absorbed the iron/liver flavor from the low quality beef. The soup is missing huge flavor potential. Could use salt, sesame oil...something else for flavor??? Anything really... extremely disappointed... the bao buns are on another level though. Very good. The soup was so bad though. 0 star soup. 3 star bao buns.
amazing dumplings and fried rice!!!!
The food was very good ....but the building itself could use some cleaning.
Best Chinese food in town !!!!
Had Chinese food tonight from Hing Lung, first time, except for the chicken lettuce wrap, Ive had before, which is delicious! Really enjoyed the food from here, Id definitely be eating here again!
First time eating here since they changed the name, we ordered off skip the dishes we where not disappointed.. we ordered full dishes of the chow mine, fried rice, chopsuey egg rolls and dumplings all was delicious and hot. We will be eating here again. Thank you for the amazing food for our anniversary dinner it was worth the money.
The amount of food is good the price is bit high and the flavor of the food is lacking severely Seems fresher at dinner time orders than later evening orders I would not order here again I have given then quite a few big order one was decent other below average bland food low quailty meats
Nice local Chinese food. Quality, decent prices. Mostly we do take out
Not sure if I want to go back... Just average Chinese food
Food was nothing special and the portions and value for your buck are very poor, actually ridiculous compared to any other competitor.
Very good
Ordered the dinner for 4 (E). Picked up in 35 minutes. Piping hot, fresh and delicious. We have tried the rest and this place is the best.
Fresh and good portions
Ive enjoyed everything ive tried so far except the sweet and sour pork Im very particular with my s&s pork it seems over cooked and under sauced
Very good and fresh Chinese. Good service. Nice clean cheerful decor. My best Chinese place to go in Chilliwack now. Yummy should be 4.5 stars I just cant give 5 till the 2nd try.
Really enjoy the chow mein fired in the wok.
Excellent lunch!
Fresh, friendly and fast! Good selections ad good prices.
Good food. Nice and fresh and tasty.
Liked it. Was quiet for a Thursday night, food was very tasty. Will go again.
Really nice food! I dont mind paying a little more for a good quality meal. Best Chinese food in Chilliwack by far. Try the pork buns!
the food was delicious and everyone was very nice :)
it was ok.
I was not that impressed with the service or the food! Probably wont go back!
Food wasnt bad
Everything we ordered was very good, probably the best Chinese food we had in Chilliwack. I thought the food took a bit too long to make as it seemed not very busy. I would come back again.
Will not order from here again... the rice was over cooked, the almond chicken was super salty, i had to call in to get them to bring a item they missed and i had to pay the driver first then he said he would go to his car to get my food. Very disapointed
$17.95 per adult. Have to check website for other prices. 5pm to 8pm. Reservations are required 5 or more in your party. Plenty of free parking Amazing Chinese food. I am pleasantly surprised!! Also the staff are amazing and so friendly and professional services!! I would go solely back just because the staff are very nice. The food is incredible and lots of dishes to choose from. Simple decor perfect. Your there for The food!! Take out is also offered Please remember children need to be accompanied by an adult. Sneeze screens are in place but the entrees are extremely hot and you do not there little fingers burnt. Lovely day so glad we went!!! Enjoy!!
They know us we come so often. Prices are reasonable and great variety on the menu
Gorgeous Chinese food. The hot pots are anazing.
My boyfriend and ordered 6 dishes and pork buns. The food was prepared quickly and was all super hot. Best chinese weve had in chilliwack by far. The young lady serving us was very polite and did an amazing job. This is our new go-to!
Took them a while to prepare the food ordered (5 dishes) and it wasnt very crowded. Only one other. Taste was average.
ordered today. Food was luke warm/cold.. Missing part of my order when delivered. No receipt upon delivery. Have never seen almond chicken that looked like what I recieved, small little pieces of dried hard chicken. No soy sauce or fortune cookies. Definately never ordering from this restaurant again. Yuck.
Food was very tasty for the most part , There was 6 of us eating dinner and the food came out at a good pace but certain dishes like the rice were very last to come out. We will be eating here again
Good food along with friendly service, have a seat and experience it.
Great food very filling and owners r super nice
Sub-par Chinese have had way way better. Recently moved to Chilliwack went by google review saw 4.1 stars so we decided to try. Only reason why im giving stars is the young lady at the counter was super nice and food was ready super fast. We wont be going back you will get better Chinese food at Manchu Wok and that is not saying much
Kind and great food!!
The greatest Chinese food restaurant ever!
Good eeg rolls stirfri steamed rice
Food was absolutely delicious. Every dish we had came out hot and fresh.
Used to be K & Y, n really liked it then as well. Seems to b the same taste and quality im used to. Delivery is spotty at times, but the service staff is very polite n prompt.
Pretty good Chinese food
Best chinese food we have had in Chilliwack/Agassiz area. Comparable to chinese food restaurants in Richmond, East Vancouver, Burnaby or New Westminister. Service friendly too.
