Cookies Grill in Chilliwack

Have yet to have a bad food experience at Cookies! They seem to always be busy with a short wait to be seated. They do not take reservations and are first come, first serve. Always packed, but always delicious In my most recent visit, I opted for the Cajun chicken melt on Asiago sourdough with a ceaser salad as my side, and without a doubt, Ill be ordering the same thing again! I was not sure what to expect from Asiago sourdough but was delighted when I recieved my meal and came to find out that ment melted Asiago cheese, melted to a crispy crust on the exterior sides of said sourdough!! Peppers were sautéed perfectly, and the ceaser salad was sauced how I like it. Coffee is always fresh and hot!

This is our go to breakfast place. The breakfast is excellent value, but this time the food was only warm, not hot, and the service was slow.

It seems like the cooks are new and don t know how to do soft poached eggs, but hey, what can ya do. Of course it wouldn t be an issue to do a little better and put more effort into it, as it s like a disappointing gift

Busy for lunch. Party of four. I had a solid Rueben with a creamy coleslaw. The ladies each enjoyed the chicken benedict. To my eyes, my cousins meatloaf sandwhich looked the best of all our plates. It sure didnt last long! Tables were a somewhat crowded for lunch, so I downgraded atmosphere a point. Good place, enjoy!

Just had a wonderful breakfast at this quant lovely restaurant. I have to say the servers were all so nice and worked together to bring you your meal, coffee etc. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend when in the area.

Good food and service, never had any issues here and we come here quite often. All their breakfast items are delicious and good portions. The staff are always very friendly with our toddler and make him feel very welcome. Had the chicken Cesar wrap last time, which would probably be the only menu item I didnt enjoy, but everything else is delicious. If you plan on going for breakfast however be ready to wait, its a small diner and a very popular one among locals. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!

Came in with my partner and her family, sat down and immediately were recieved 5 star service from the staff my meal was the Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict, and everything from the hash browns to the waffle and everything in between had me blown away, everyone elses meals looked very appetizing also, definitely would recommend to anyone to take the time and experience either breakfast or lunch at this establishment.

We had Cookies cater our wedding recently and everything was perfect, the staff were on time and very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, we went with the largest catering option and the homemade pie bar for dessert. We could not be happier, our guests were so pleased with the food, majority of them coming up to the night of or messaged us after the following days to say how good the food was. Dont hesitate to book them if your looking for catering. Top notch food and service.

Worth the hype! Many weekends I ve tried to get a seat here but gone elsewhere due to the wait but today (weekday) I finally ate here. The menu has so many yummy options that are full of the variety I like. Don t have to choose just sweet or just savoury- this place gives you everything in one meal. AND the breakfast includes a free coffee or red rose tea. Everything was delicious! Place was clean! Portions were great! And service was friendly! We will be back, this seriously is the best breakfast place in town. No frills - just good food.

Amazing breakfast!

Take out takes almost an hour and a half to arrive. Last three times Ive ordered, there has been missing items or instructions not followed. Good food but not sure why there is no interest in customer satisfaction

Absolutely worst place to order takeout. Never had a place mess up so much so frequently and so bad order two meals which was suppose to come with poached soft eggs two bacon two sausage the eggs were hard as a rock which I get the food cooks a little on its way to me but not that much it was ridiculous and I asked for all sausage and they gave us two sausage only each when it should ve been four each and then I ordered two sides of hashbrowns and didn t get either of the sides. So so disappointing won t be ordering from here again

Been to many restaurants as a foodie and service from this unassuming place was surreal, perhaps second best to atlas steak and fish in burnaby. Good job. Parking: If its busy, there will be not many spots available.

We arrived from out of town on Labour day and were looking for a breakfast place. Cookies was one of the only restaurants open so we thought wed give it a try. Best decision!!! We got to Cookies and there was a line up!! No problem. We were in and seated within 10 mins. The staff is so efficient and excellent that customers were getting served their food within 10 mins of ordering. And the food!! OMG!! I had a corned beef hash bowl, my hubby and son had cinnamon bun pancakes with sausage and bacon and my other son had the Big Bold breakfast. So much food! And it was delicious! The pancakes werent too sweet and had great flavor. There was generous portions of everything. My bowl was full of veggies, corned beef and eggs (not just mostly hashbrowns). This business is the epitome of what a well run restaurant should look like. It is a smaller venue but they still had at least 5 waiting staff on that we could see. There was no waiting, no frustrating trying to find someone, and no shortage of smiles! Customers, even bigger groups, were in and out within 30-40 mins and they all left with smiles on their faces. This is hands down the best dining experience Ive had in years! I cant say enough about the amazing staff and food at this little restaurant. All I know is, the next time Im in Chilliwhack I will make certain to stop here again! Thank you Cookies!! Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was great and great prices!

Had a craving for pancakes & sausage yesterday at Cookies , Wife ordered a waffle & sausage , pancakes were tough almost needed a knife to cut them and Wifes waffle was cold and hard and tasted like pumpkin spice. In all fairness Wife sent hers back and it was replaced with a fresh one but took a while to get, came back hot, no spice and done right. I managed to eat half of my pancakes but was very disappointed and the waitress knew it as I told her the problem but she said nothing and took it away.Have always had good food there but not that day.

We had Cookies cater our wedding in August and had a wonderful experience! I was so impressed how well they had catered to guests allergies, intolerances, and preferences. As a person with celiac, I recognize how important it is to have safe choices to eat - and the staff at cookies were very knowledgeable and thorough with their preparations. We thought the food tasted incredible - and so did our many guests who told us so. The staff were friendly and helpful and provided everyone with great service. We definitely recommend Cookies Catering :)

Cookies catered our wedding on July 20. They were so organized and efficient they came in and did their thing and cleaned up flawlessly. The food was incredible (every guest said so) and it was very reasonably priced. Collen was wonderful to communicate with. Highly reccomend having them cater your event.

I was for the 1st time with a friend today at Cookies. I had the chicken waffle benedict, with chunky potatoes. It was amazing! The service was great, and the food came quickly. Busy place, but we only had to wait 5 mins for a table. Definitely going back!

Out of the way new favourite hideaway. Cookies Grill has great home cooked meals at very affordable prices. Kudos to the chefs for making us feel like its Sunday dinner. I highly recommend this place for families. Kids menu starts off at less than $7 for a complete meal including drink and desert.

It was quite busy which was to be expected based on the previous reviews. The flight of iced coffees was delicious, with the Raspberry Chocolate being most delicious, the Salted Caramel and Moccha being quite yummy and the French Vanilla being rather average. The Cookies omelette sounded really promising, but reality did not keep up with the hope and expectations. Maybe it was because the kitchen was so busy, but the omelette and all its veggie ingredients were cooked to death to the consistency of cardboard, lacking any taste whatsoever.

We had an iced coffee flight and I ordered the Stuffed French Toast. Both items were absolutely delicious. It was very busy but they did a good job and the wait wasnt too long.

Its a typical breakfast and comfort style restaurant. There are lots of food options and you cant go wrong with breakfast all day. Staff have always been friendly and the place is clean. The door has no accessible button and the curb cut can be easilyt blocked by a car, there is one accessible parking space. Cookies Grill is the perfect restaurant for Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch or even Dinner. When I looked up its menu on Google, I knew I had to try their food. When I got there on a Monday, the establishment was packed, which says a lot about its thriving business. I got to try the SMore Croffle from their monthly menu and it was incredible. This may just be my favourite breakfast item. This meal came with bacon that was superb and eggs that were consistently good. The coffee was top notch and went great with everything else. Also, the coffee is free if you have it with a breakfast choice. The service was excellent; well-mannered, and they checked on you often. My only problem or nitpick about this restaurant is that it is far from where I live and it is in an obscured part of Chilliwack where you would not think to go. Nonetheless, I would love to come back to Cookies Grill and try their other menu choices. I am very happy for this restaurants success.

Will never go there. I just walked in and said hello . The hostess did not look up from her cell phone and did not even notice me. Customer service has really tanked.

Words cannot begin to explain what Cookies Grill is. Its home, its comfort, its family. A place where everyone is treated as such. The food is top notch. Our little hidden gem has grown to be such an amazing phenomenal success. Colleen, Colin and staff have crafted a genuine environment that is accommodating to all those who visit. With exquisite all day breakfast and soulful comfort dinner dishes. This has been mine and many family members favorite place to go for years. I am so happy to see the growth and success of this place. They also offer catering! I know if i ever needed it they are my first call. This isnt just a restaurant it is a home away from home. No matter what you choose off the menu you wont be dissatisfied. So run, dont walk down to Cookies Grill, who is also open for dinner hours if you didnt know. Not hungry then try an iced coffee flight and enjoy a good book by the window. Whatever youre fancy i know they can blow your mind.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. We arrived at 10:30 AM with our group of 3 adults and 3 kids, all under 5 years old. When we put down our name, we requested highchairs. The front server informed us that the wait would be around 40-50 minutes, and we agreed to wait in the car. After about 40 minutes, we received a text message saying our table was ready. We returned to the restaurant, and the front server initially said the big table would be ready after it was cleaned. A few minutes later, we saw the manager (Bonnie) talking to the front server. Although we couldnt hear their conversation, the front server came back to inform us that the manager decided to give the table to another group that didnt need highchairs. The reason given was that the area didnt fit highchairs. This explanation made no sense, as it was the largest table in the biggest area of the restaurant. To make matters worse, I saw highchairs being used at a table of the same size in the same area when I came in. As a result, we were put back on the waiting list and had to wait another 40 minutes for two side-by-side tables to become available. By the time we were seated, it was already noon. We ordered our food right away to avoid further delays because our babies were crying from hunger. We ordered 5 sets of meals, but 2 sets came out missing sausages or toast. The restaurant was very unorganized and clearly not accommodating to families with young children. Lack of consideration for families are unacceptable. To top it off, I ended up giving only a 10% tip, much less than I usually leave for even average service. If you have kids, I would strongly advise against going to this restaurant. Hello Colleen and Colin, Thank you for your response. While I appreciate your apology, blaming this on training issues is not acceptable. This same excuse was used nine months ago, indicating a persistent problem. This is clearly a management failure. The manager, Bonnie, made the poor decision to give our seats to other guests who arrived after us and passed this flawed approach to the newer staff, creating confusion and perpetuating a cycle of bad service. For your information, we traveled from far away and dont visit your restaurant often (thankfully). Ive already detailed the entire situation in my review, so theres no need for a phone call. This is a fantastic place for breakfast or brunch. Hell, anytime of day is great! Food. And excellent service. Anytime Ive been there its been full and theres been a short wait. And thats really my only complaint. Its a little crowded. But thats a sign of how awesome this place is. In order to serve the high demand, theres a little less space and a little bit of a waiting time.

Great little restaurant, food was tasty ans service was food. It does get super busy there and not alot of space. I hope to see the restaurant expand into a bigger location one day. I went for a burger because you know if you can t make that you can t make anything. The server was good extremely good actually got the orders straight and it came reasonably quick despite the rush . All the food was good but one piece of toast was burnt . I m not going to complain too much but come on if it s that good why do you need to pass off an incinerated piece of toast . Will be back for sure and I can see this place being a favourite. We dined at Cookies for breakfast on a busy Sunday morning. We barely had a wait for a table, and the staff were all very attentive. Excellent decaf coffee and offers to top up by servers regularly. We shared a meat skillet with French toast and the waffle platter with eggs and sausage. Everything was great, my only recommendation is that the French toast gets a longer soak in the egg mixture. The very outside looked dipped but the rest of the bread was dry and not saturated. Otherwise, seriously delicious. Would come back again for sure.

The cinnamon bun pancakes where delicious however the skillet portions have definitely gotten smaller and the eggs werent done very well.

This is a great spot to grab breakfast. It gets extremely busy. Service is quite prompt once youre seated and food comes out fairly quickly and you never feel rushed. The only downside I can say is if you dont make it there before any meal rushes, be prepared to wait a little.

Came in with a group of 9. Place was packed and they got us in within 10 minutes. Once we sat down we were able to order right away and the food was so quick coming out. Everything was really good. And great portions for the price. Our server Elizabeth was amazing!! So friendly and great service. Will recommend this spot to friends and will be back again for sure.
