Ordered 3 grinch meals and several other meals and ended up not getting one of our mcchickens and two of the pickle seasoning we ordered with fries never came either. The fries were all under cook and mushy cold, and the burgers and chicken burgers were cold but cooked
It's like they just stopped caring about customer service. All the tables were dirty, garbage was full. The food tasted decent enough, but the staff just aren't friendly anymore. "You got time to lean , you've got time to clean!". I only come here as a treat for my kids, but I can't wait for them to outgrow McD's.
Drive thru means curbside if you order anything but a drink, so forget "fast food". Delivery drivers are always parking in curbside pickup parking spots. The parking lot layout is a mess (it's old and its location may not allow for any redesign). If you order ANYTHING slightly unusual/customized, you won't get what you ordered. An item from the order will also be missing 1 out of every 3 times, so the crew members aren't checking the order before handing it out and you're wasting money twofold because you paid for something you don't receive and you waste fuel driving back to get it.
I wouldn't keep ordering from here but this is the closest McDonald's and Happy Meals are safe foods for my 3 autistic young children. Every time we have ordered something is wrong with the order we receive. Why no Happy Meal boxes? I ordered a chicken wrap for myself. For my kids I ordered 2 four piece chicken nuggets, fries, yogurt, with toys and hot mustard Happy Meals. I also ordered 1 Happy Meal cheeseburger with apple slices, toy, and yogurt. I also ordered a couple extra sides of apple slices. I'm missing a Happy Meal toy and 1 yogurt, and they added a small fry that was never asked for. Might not seem like much of a big deal but sometimes this kinda thing does matter in the world my kids live in. Thank you Door Dash for your prompt service. Perhaps though McDonald's at 45816 Yale Road in Chilliwack needs to improve their training methods or obtain better management. You can't tell me that they ran out of yogurt and Happy Meal toys when this seems to keep happening at this location. Thank goodness I'm going back to Williams Lake where I have never had a complaint with the McDonald's there, the service there has always been great and have had no issues with their ability to properly fill an order.
I had an interview at the McDonald’s on Yale Road on August 21st, and I must express my deep disappointment with the entire process. Despite having relevant experience with McDonald’s, the treatment I received was unprofessional and, quite frankly, discriminatory. Following the interview, I attempted to get feedback on my application. When I called on August 26th, I spoke with a representative named Sierra, who was not only unhelpful but also exceptionally rude. She bluntly told me that the team was not hiring and advised me to stop calling, without offering any specific feedback or explanation. Her dismissive attitude was deeply frustrating. What was particularly disheartening was the sense that my background might have influenced the interaction. As an Indian applicant, I couldn’t shake the feeling that racial bias might have played a role in the unprofessional treatment I received. It’s troubling to experience such behavior, especially when it undermines the principles of fairness and respect in the workplace. I hope that McDonald’s takes this feedback seriously and works towards addressing any potential biases and improving their communication processes. No applicant should feel marginalized or dismissed based on their background.
My first time at this location. I ordered in person. The cashiers name was Ute and she was an absolute Gem. She was the only one I saw come into the Lobby to chat with Customers. There were a handful of others at the Back including managers and during my almost 1 hour there I didn't notice anyone else or a manager come into the Lobby apart from Ute. The place was very Clean and Senior customers enjoyed each other's Company. I remembered my Good old days when I was a Manager. Brought back sweet memories. However there was a young person standing by the counter trying to get a manager's attention as their Drink order was late and sitting behind the counter. They did get it and it was Warm instead of Hot. I mentioned to them to ask the manager and they will surely replace it. I hope they did. This was on Wednesday the 26th of June morning before 9:30am I think.
This is what I was served in the drivethrough today , while driving I jut unwrapped it a bit , took a a big. Bite as I was super hungry. And when I went in for my second bit I could not believe my eyes , I have never been sooo discusted in my , life. And when I went back , they offered to refund my money , and quickly ripped off the stickers that were on the burger , and proceeded to take the burger , I told them I wanted to keep the burger , said they can take it to show the people on the line what they served a customer. . Then the manager comes out to talk to me , basically felt like she was calling me a liar. I said check ur cameras I'm sure they are everywhere in the kitchen. And I literally drove from the driveway. Took a a bite , and when I realized I parked and came back in. I told her ask you shift manager the burger was still hot when I brought it back . Then proceeds to tell me she doesn't think it was mold. Prob just burt So I said 100 is mold bring the burger back. She proceeds to tell me that they have to keep the burger to submit to their supplier. Untill I insisted that I am leaving with the burger, I was never soo discusted ,and then felt like they try to call me.a liar. And try to blame their own supplier. I mean how did someone not see this is sooo bad., was offered nothing but Replace my 2 burgers and a free French. Fry .!! Very disappointed
Everytime I order from this restaurant on skip, the staff put our ice cream in the bag with the hot food. Love having melted ice cream that is literal.soup and food that is cold from sitting with the ice cream. Do better. It's not rocket science put the ice cream in the bag with the drinks.
This is by FAR the WORST McDonald s ever lol. I have no clue how they are still in operation. The employees are incredibly friendly But it s SUPER poorly managed; the manager clearly cares very little for quality. Don t expect the food to taste hot or fresh or even reliably palatable to be honest. Most definitely don t expect hot coffee- it s usually room temperature if your lucky and don t bother paying any extra expenses towards added menu features like lattes or caramel flavoured coffee, cuz I promise you, you will drive away only to realize you ve been given an espresso black coffee lol. I honestly don t think I have ever ordered from this McDonald s and actually received the correct order. I live a 4 minute walk from this McDonald s and I drive 10 minutes just to go to the second nearest McDonald s cuz the quality this McDonalds offers plus their incompetence to accurately prepare orders, makes the convenient location no longer worth the headache. Essentially it s run as if it s ran by teenagers.
Mannn stop serving old fries! McDonalds can afford to make fresh fries for customers, do your job, its not hard to drop fries in the fryer!

Its McDonalds, the food tastes just as good as it is unhealthy, which is very. But it has a nice atmosphere, kid friendly, colourful and having a few nuggets or fries just feels like being a kid again. Vegetarian options: Not a huge amount of vegetarian options, it IS a burger joint after all. But they have specific vegetarian options, so thats convenient. Dietary restrictions: They do have specific vegan & vegetarian options, and I believe gluten-free buns on request. You can also get burgers lettuce wrapped, but otherwise its not what Id recommend. Parking: Its kind of in an out-of-the way area, dark at night, lots of nearby parking lots too. Kid-friendliness: Its McDonalds, its designed for kids. Why are you reading this?
Got a happy meal from here and waited forever for someone to come to the window was late night and I was the only customer, then they showed up and I was told I have to wait longer for the nuggets, so I did, they show up and are cold and old, same with the fries and the apple juice just tasted like water with a slight hint of apple, McDonalds is just a joke, overpriced and regret Everytime I end up going and just get cold old garbage that is not worth the price at all.

I had a good experience going to McDonalds my food was hot and fresh and I received it quickly I ordered through the app and it was exactly as I ordered it the app itself was easy to use and the service I received in the Drive-Thru was great Vegetarian options: Frys, salads, cookies, ice cream type desserts. (Probably more too)

Food cold waited 15 minutes
I was missing half of my food, so I politely called and told the lady who answered the phone, I used to be an employee at a McDonald s. Almost immedietly she hung up on me, I called back, and she did it once again. I m unfathomably unimpressed, and I expect better for the $60 I spent.

Its a Mcdonalds. What did you expect. Editing review. This area is bad. Crackheads litter the drive through. You have to order food to use the bathroom which okay fine, but like it can take forever and when I have kids who have to pee, time to precious. To top it off the toliet paper dispenser was ripped from the wall and they had no more TP.

We went in here for the first time ever and it was unbelievably gross inside. It doesnt help that the entire homeless population uses it as a shelter. There wasnt one clean table, the place smelled like a drunk tank and the bathrooms were horrendous. Definitely do yourself a favour and dont go inside this place.

Its not very consistent, Ive spent 10 minutes in the drive thru even after ordering. Most of the time homeless near the pay window asking for money too. Its close to work, have better coffee than most places, its a hit or miss kinda place.

Ok picture this with me. Its 7 pm at night. I order a diet coke and an iced coffee. Refused ice in my coke because they are rationing it for the ice coffee. SO then i Offer to pay for and additional ice coffee to be charged for ICE and to put it in my soda just to have ice in my pop. Snooty window manager STILL refuses and gives me mad attitude. Shouldve thrown my ice coffee right back in that window. Girl are you good? Or just stupid?

Ordered delivery. They didnt send the food. Couldnt even call the restaurant, just an automated message saying the customer is unavailable and to try again later. Called the customer service number and they didnt refund the whole amount. Not even the delivery fee. Theres something wrong with the order every time we go or order delivery.
Our family with three children have been dining at various MacDonald locations for over ten years. As a parent, I have always been asking for water when dining which I am provided with a complimentary water cup. It has never been an issue until today, June 29th, 2024 when we were dining at Yale Road Chilliwack BC location. Invoice 1LN9MLGHN4. I was asked to pay for a water cup and the water after I was told that their system was changed recently. I was at this very location yesterday due to our kids activity over the weekend. I asked for water when dining here yesterday which we spent approximately $50. I was given the water with a complimentary cup without any problem. So, it is apparently a LIE that their system was changed lately. It is a horrible cheap MacDonald location!! We will never visit this location again ever! Never should you or make sure you bring your own water cup and also pay for a cup of cold water!!!

Terrible service when using the drive through. The servers cannot understand even a simple order. Ice cream machine is always broken. I was told I couldnt order a smoothie as they were out of ice, so I ordered another drink and guess what the cup was full of ice. Ordered a regular size Mcflurry and was handed a snack size one and the server lied and told me it was a regular size. I wont go here again.

Ordered through skip. Removal of mustard was not an option on skip so I called and spoke to someone gave order details and specifically asked to received only ketchup on my burger. So it was written AND I spoke with someone. Burger came fully loaded and I cannot eat it. Pouting came cold (cheese not even melted) get it together guys.....

Good food, as always its ghe classic old mcdonalds. I always love getting food here and the vibe and the smell is all classic. But the staff i got served with was somewhat unfriendly and I had a cold burger but they didnt apologize and smile back at me and just got me a new one. Needs improvements.

The manager, Emma, is genuinely a great manager by the seems of it, and I just wanted her to be recognized for that: she handles situations with more integrity, responsibility and respect for the customer than I see people over twice her age do. Good job being a good leader and a great customer service representative. World needs more people like you!
This is one of the most poorly managed McDonalds Ive ever been to. Everytime Ive been its always chaotic and messy. The young employees are the only saving grace with this place. Management should be ashamed of the way they run this place. Corporate should rethink this franchisees ownership.

The restaurant is nice inside and the food is what you expect for McDonalds. Just the washroom felt like you were outside , so cold and damp feeling anyhow. That was the weird part , otherwise its fast food .
Everytime I go to the drive through my order os wrong and I have to go inside and change it. But the food is great and the service is superb.
They messed up our online order, so we went to the location to fix our order. When we got home with our new order, it was so bad we just fed it to our dog . At least she was happy with the food

Fries are always undercooked and soggy... I always ask for EXTRA crispy... and they never ever come out that way. EVER! Got a simple order wrong twice on the same visit, they re-made it wrong again. Not the finest location.
Nothing special to say about this place. Service was decent for how busy it was on this visit. But the free refills being unavailable and toilets that require access first; needless to say this place is a magnet for homeless people... maybe drive thru next time so you can pretend this place isnt.

Noisy, busy place packed with messy, noisy young people hanging out. Tables were not bussed. Had to ask for napkins. Service was okay and reasonably fast. All tables were taken despite the fact that many patrons had not bought anything there, apparently.
Breakfast bagel burnt to a crisp. Coffee is burnt also. And it took ten minutes sitting at the drive thru menu to order, while watching the other lane go through. Thanks for the awesome breakfast. NOT.

Took 50 minutes, left out half my order, swapped out hashbrowns for fries because THEY took so long putting it together. Never go here. If I wanted utter disappointment I would have ordered utter disappointment
Place was a mess. 2 of the ordering stations werent functioning, and the one that I eventually ordered on never printed a receipt - so you know, dont know what my order number is. Theres also zero soft drinks available - its coffee, water, or the McDonalds equivalent of orange juice. Went up to counter to let someone know and get a copy of my receipt and theres no one manning or even close to it. Not exaggerating when I say not a single person visible from the counter was speaking english. So anyway, I flag someone down and let them know about the machine (and I want my receipt). They already know about the machine not printing receipts - great, so how about giving people a heads up? Then they ask what my order was. Guy, Im the only one here thats ordered anything inside in the last 7 minutes, it should be pretty easy to figure out. Fast forward to picking up my meal for me and the kiddo, and theyve forgotten the something out of the Kids Meal. Couldnt get that right huh? So anyway, the OJ is a watered down mess. The Kids Meal is hot slop that looks like a dogs breakfast. My Big Mac looks like they were playing Jenga with the ingredients. The fries were alright though. Maccas Chilliwack, you are without a doubt the worst McDonalds Ive had the distinct displeasure of eating in in North America. And Ive been places. Kid-friendliness: Its barely kid friendly in that the Happy Meal toy is not as advertised and they cant get a simple Happy Meal out with all the correct food in it.

If you order in the lobby, either Take-Out or Dine-In, you can guarantee they will remove your order from the Now-Serving screen, anywhere from 20secs to 7 mins before the order actually appears at the counter. I know you re making minimum wage, but go to h*ll. I am sitting comfy, see my number removed from the screen, come up, wait 20secs to 7 mins, when I could ve been sitting. We all know you are doing this because of your timing and ratings. and we all know everyone probably does this except the suckers at the underperforming locations. And yet, they are the only honourable ones. Another loss for the little man. Fight the Power!!!
The delivery times are starting to get really slow I order a McFlurry and it took 25 minutes to get here and I live less than ten minutes an away. Before the delivery times were less than 15 minutes

The food is what it is...McDonalds! It is what you make of it. Not the best area in regards to the vagrancy but that being said, the staff at this McDonalds havent always been the kindest to them.
Have been consistently underwhelmed by this location. Most recently ordered via an online delivery service and was shorted all the drinks for my order and in their place was a small chocolate milkshake. I would brush it off if this wasnt at least the nineth or tenth time this has happened.

Ordered a latte. Waited 16 minutes in the drive through before being told the first time they were adding milk to the machine then finally being told its broken. Asked for a coffee instead, the staff member just left without saying anything. I mobile ordered a regular coffee which took another 10 mins to pour. Lots of staff on but they all appeared to be panicking. I think this location has some organizational/management issues.

Went through the drive through ordered 6 peice chicken nugget meal, a big Mc and fries. Got home and opened the bag there was no big mac it was a cold chicken burger. Called to find out about having it corrected and was told they will give replacement. So I said so you will replace it and the female then said not a chance hung up and wont answer the phone. Seriously jowls hard is this job do you need a university degree??????
This has always been my go to for my morning coffee/ muffin/ sandwich for 6 years now, but lately week after week my order has been fd up.....its not rocket science, extra leg coffee with cream and yet at least 1 to 2 times a week( not an exaggeration) i get sugar...im type 2 diabetic and some mornings i need my coffee fix and still drink it but suffer a massive headache as a result.Its been a month now and while i miss the coffee and muffin( which was rarely right) i dont miss the headache
