Worst customer service ever . I called them and the guy who answered the call didn t even know how to talk to the customer. Need to learn some basic manners please

The best deal in town and devious!

We went as a group of 3, we ordered 1 veggie plate and 2 non veg. While we were eating one of us got a hair in the veggie plate and we thought of it as a mistake and brought it to the servers attention. After we were eating our 2nd dish the butter chicken, got 2nd piece of hair ruined the entire experience. There was no sort of cleanliness.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Sardis (Chilliwack) that serves delicious food - a real treat as well fantastic experience from India in a great atmosphere and a team working from their hearts In the nenu, there are plenty of choices for vegan & vegetarian, this is truly appreciated Thank you kindly to the owner(s), people working in the kitchen and who serve at the tables

We got a takeout from Royal Zayka. The customer service was just amazing. We were served complementary almond milk while we waited and even got a surprise desert in the takeout. :) To top it all off, the taste was out of this world. We had vegetarian biryani and malai soya chaap.

The noodles were ordered with a medium level of spiciness but turned out excessively spicy. Throughout the meal, our eyes were irritated by smoke from the kitchen, which detracted from the dining experience, especially with a large group. While the food was passable, the service left something to be desired; our server appeared visibly annoyed and bothered.

This is the best Indian restaurant Ive ever had. Way better than any Indian restaurant in Surrey BC and metro Vancouver!

We have been to this restaurant many times and really liked certain items on the menu like the mango curry and the korma curry, coconut rice and home fries. The service is a bit hit or miss we have observed but pretty ok overall. We decided to go for Mothers day dinner and try a new dish. The other dishes we have tried have been extra mild as we always request. Our server recognized us and we asked about the Vindaloo Zesty and Tikka Masala and we asked for it to be made extra mild. It was NOT mild at all and we found both of our dishes to be very spicy!!!! Not at all like the time before. We told our server our issue but all they would offer is to make us one curry dish to share and we had to pay for everything else. The curry dish was not good..very watery and they used frozen vegetables that were still crunchy so overall our dining experience was not great. The server said that those dishes shouldnt be recommended to people who dont like spice because sauce is premade and that they feel bad but they didnt really do the right thing in our opinion. I cannot support a business that does not make things right so I dont think I will be going back again.

Buffet only at weekend. But no info about it on the website. The selection isn t Hugh but ok for under 20$ . Service was great. Food i would say good but I m not an Indian food expert. It is something nice if you want a break from pizza, Chinese and burgers.

Best butter chicken I ever had best enviornent, feel lighting, service, food atmosphere and amazingly priced. These guys bring out all the stops. Highly reccomend.

Very disappointed experience with the food. So blend and artificial taste . It feels like Nothing cooked fresh here. I don t know what s going in the kitchen.

We had lunch today . Everything was so bad . Every single thing was so blend . No taste at all. On top of that it felt like they reheating their frozen food and serve it as fresh . Don t go there . You can find some better Indian cuisine with real taste in food.

Order take out here last week and was extremely happy with the Traditional Curry Chicken and Vegetable samosas. The chicken was tender and the spices were perfect. Portions were standard sizing.

my partner and i have been here many times before and have ordered takeout too. the people are very nice, the food amazing and the prices are great! they are super generous with the portions as well!! Also piping hot food after being delivered 20 minutes out i wish i could give more stars Dietary restrictions: they have a lot of good vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options.

We came here on a Sunday night, was hoping to get buffet but they stopped doing it now :( (said might start again in summer!) Though we didnt get buffet, the food was still awesome! We got garlic naan(I think it was $2.95 for 5slices!), chai(came in a whole POT!), appy platter, tandori platter and rogenjosh with chicken. We only had two people so had a lot of lefter over for the next few meals. Garlic naan was so fresh! and appy platter was freshly deep fried, everything on the platter was nicely seasoned, Im not the biggest fan of one of the chutney, but the other one was good. Some seasoning on the tandoori grilled platter were on the salty side but was better with rice(platter were served on a bed of rice). Our fav was the Roganjosh with chicken! Chicken was not dry at all! super tender and juicy! Services were so amazing, staffs were super friendly. The portions were HUGE, defintely worth the price! Will defintely come back again! Absolutely wonderful Indian food. The butter chicken and zesty vindaloo are two of our favourites. The naan is the best we ve had in Chilliwack by far. Happily recommend!

The butter chicken sauce was a pale orange colour. We ordered a medium and there was hardly any heat. Were glad we ordered at least the medium though because the butter chicken sauce had very little flavour. The sauce was extremely watered down and had nothing other than hints of the ingredients used to make it. Their cheese naan is great. Wonderful. Very cheesy. Very delicious. Their garlic naan isnt the greatest. Can hardly smell or taste the garlic (if there is any). Other than that, its naan. Not the worst, just not the greatest. Overall, the food was edible (there was nothing particularly negative about the taste, there just wasnt anything particularly positive), but if youre looking for butter chicken with flavour go somewhere else (this is my second experience with them and it has been consistent both times). If their butter chicken was improved with some actual flavour and wasnt the consistency of water then I would give them probably 4 stars. If they improved their garlic naan on top of that Id give them 5 (which doesnt mean perfect necessarily, it just means that I would gladly go back to them over other restaurants of their cuisine in the area). Cant speak to the other dishes because Im not a huge Indian food fan (so youd think Id want fewer spices, not more, right? Thats a little telling...).

Love this place since the day they opened. Food is always delicious and the service is on point! We have ordered take out many times before. The last time approx 2 months ago, the food has always been really good. Picked up an order today. The curry portions were smaller & the Naan bread was smaller as well. Something has changed here, maybe in the kitchen but we are not impressed. Maybe its time to go back to Shandha in the future

Very disappointed with food that was served with heavy use of red dye. I hope the cook has some knowledge of red dye and its harmful effects before feeding it to people and ruining their health and appetite. The corn roti was half cooked but but they replaced it with cooked ones after we shared this feedback. The corn roti was definitely not authentic. Having waited twice, we were just too hungry to wait again. Will not go back for sure, until they stop adding red dye.

We ordered fish tikka and butter chicken. First we were denied dine as we reached there at 815pm so we decided to take home. Butter chicken was good no doubt. But fish tikka was RAW from inside and it stinked raw fish in the box. It had realsed so much gravy in the rice that it made the whole rice soggy and difficult to eat. You can imagine how a raw fish would smell.

Fantastic taste! We ordered lamb biryany, coconut shrimp on rice, trad. naan and gulab jamnu. Absolutely recommended!

This place is my go to restaurant for Indian food, the prices are so good and I know Im going to have enough food for basically two meals. Really good place and if you dont like to order over the phone, the online order is easy and quick

I forgot to take pictures of what i ordered, but it was some of the best curry i ever had here. It had a slight sweetness that was well complimented by the savory chicken i added for the shahi paneer curry. I ordered the cheese naan which was as good as the first time i had it. Also ordered the mixed grill to try various tikkas, and it was incredible, the chicken had some chars that only helped the flavor. Learned that it comes with rice too, so Id recommend ordering it at least once. The sauce it comes with is crazy good.

Tonight was the best curry Ive had from royal zayka the Shahi paneer curry was a nice combination of sweet and a light savoryness that made me want to keep eating after Ive gotten full. The cheese Naan was generously filled and the mixed grill was incredible along with its sauce the meats were flavorful and juicy while being enhanced by the charred pieces

Beautiful restaurant with cheap buffet, a lot of varieties to choose just missing the spicy flavour but apart from that the light inside, the tables, the decorations really cozy and the all the waitress with an awesome disposition. Ill come back for sure!

I ordered through Uber app today. The order was for my friend as it was his birthday. I wanted to make sure in the order there is no receipt and instead its a birthday wish sticker. So I called to the restaurant and I got to talk to a nice lady, and I requested her to write a note for me. She was very responsive and made it so easy for me. She also made sure that there is a dessert on the house for my friends birthday and I so so appreciate it. This small gestures goes a long way. Thank you for doing what you are doing.

We ve been ordering from here for years but tonight we went in and sat down and enjoyed the buffet. Everything was so delicious, I wish I could eat more food at once.

I used to be a regular here and was disappointed with this last visit. Wings were burnt Everything was overwhelmed by same red sauce Im hoping it was just a off day, but something has definitely changed. Hope it turns around

Used to come here before covid a lot! Loved it. Ordered takeout today, very disappointed. Tamarind sauce is now a clear orange tasteless liquid and the flavor of all the dishes is not as good as it was. May try one more time to see if it was just an off day but please use a better tamarind dipping sauce.

The coupon was on the bottom of a menu received in the mail. NOWHERE on the flyer does it say for take out only. You have just lost 3 customers who have eaten there an average of twice a month since you opened. You have numerous competiters who honor their coupons. I ordered from skip the dishes , chicken tikka they served chicken with potatoes and with butter chicken sauce and rice I never ate this before we are totally surprised what is this . I don t like this food and fish pakoras look like bread pakora holly crow .. need to learn how to make good food , such a waste .

Best ever Indo-Canadian food. When we ask for very mild spicing, that is what we get. We love their food and keep ordering over and over. Their butter chicken, dahl and soft nans are just wonderful. They are so kind and follow my instructions well. And when I couldnt find my discount coupon they still gave me the order with the discount. I highly recommend them as a great place to buy Indian food.

I ordered a vegetarian item yesterday and I got the chicken instead it s really disappointed. then I call them about the incorrect item and girl said I need to come on Tuesday for pick up which is really rude even it s their huge mistake. So I ask her that you want me to wait 2 more days for eat something??? After that she tell me to come for pick up again. She didn t even say apologize for that even she didn t check the item before. Moreover, she gave me excuse that it s because we haired the new people so I want to ask that that s how you are training the new people? I m really very disappointed because I m a vegetarian person and who is gonna be responsible for that? I don t wana order from there again.

Today I tried lamb Curry and veggie samosa both are so delicious with naan bread and rice. The portions are large as well. All at a reasonable price.

Best Indian food in Chilliwack! The owners and staff are friendly and the food is amazing. Ive eaten in for the buffet and the restaurant is clean and looks great, it has a really traditional feel to it. The buffet is open a few days a week, it has a smaller selection but everything is super fresh and delicious. Ive also had take out here more times than I can count and the food is always top notch. Vindaloo, pakora, butter sauce, cheese naan, samosa, curry - you cant go wrong with anything you order here!

We were in Chilliwack for the Cultus lake water park and decided to try this restaurant for dinner. We reached the restaurant around 7.30 and decided to try their buffet since we all were hungry and didn t want to wait for the food. But god oh god, the moment we sat down with our plates full of food. Without the first bite and every bite, every dish or the buffet was so horrible. We were so unlucky that even the rice was undercooked. Such pathetic food quality, i ve never seen nor tasted in my life. the staff were equally bad. all in all, worst food, pathetic staff and service. never again!

Went to try buffet with three other families, total of 9 including kids on Canada day around 4 pm. By far the worst indian buffet ever. Rice was undercooked, Tandoori chicken left a bad taste in mouth, and other items didnt impress my palate. Never going back here again.

My partner and I have eaten from Royal Zayka many times, both in-person and through DoorDash. Each time weve been extremely impressed with the quality of the food and service! Highly recommend the coconut rice, (which has pieces of licorice root in it) paired with the butter chicken!

Visiting from Ontario and we find this gem driving through chilliwack. Overall fantastic experience. We ordered the chicken tiki masala, tandoor chicken, garlic naan and rice. Portions were generous and each dish carried an explosion of taste and quite affordable to boot. Wish this place was near home. You won t be disappointed.

Service was quite slow. It seemed that they were busy, but a couple tables were empty with reserved signs. Even though I wanted to order another beverage the server ignored me. When asked how our meal was the server walked away while I responded to deal with a delivery person. The food was ok but every time we visited the buffet most of the dishes were empty. I usually like spicier dishes so I would probably be better off ordering from the menu. I hope that this was a one time experience since my last visit pre-pandemic visit was very good. I try to support local businesses and since Royal Zayka reached out I hope they can do better!

My wife and I discovered this when we moved to Chilliwack. Coming from Surrey, we did find we were missing out on the delicious local cuisine. When we found Royal Zayka that feeling of missing out no longer existed. We go here twice a month at least. We find the food and the workers incredible. Never had an issue and if you let the staff know something is low on the buffet, they stock up with fresh delicious food as soon as possible. 10/10 highly recommend to anybody and everybody

Delicious . Tons of aromatics like star anise and coriander. Really great flavors and a good amount of chicken. We had the Tikka Masala, the Vindaloo and the Channa. The papadams we so yummy. Will definitely be ordering again.

Authentic Indian! Not white washed! Butter Chicken tasted amazing - weve been to many many Indian restaurants. Server was super kind as well. Also, they dont buy their spices from the groceries. Rather, they roast their ingredients and make their own spices.

Good food and perfect service .love their coconut curry chicken

Food was awesome, customer service was so good. I really appreciate for quick service. My 2 years old loved shahi paneer. Would recommend everyone. Overall awesome experience.

I ordered choley bhature but it was horrible. The bhature was more like papad and the choley had no taste no flavour. Very disappointed

We have revisited this restaurant after finding a few hiccups about a year ago. Glad we did. The service has most certainly gone up to 5 stars and the food is amazing! Just sad they arent open for lunch :(

Please dont visit this place their food is really bad and worst. I ordered a manchurian it was really thick gravy a lot of spices not matched with exact taste and charge for 15$.

If you need to have a mehandhi..on your hand just on your marriage....dont spent money to a designer...have a chicken vindaloo from Royal zaika.....you can get enough red food color on your hand staying atleast for 3 days.....My hands are still red....all food are full of loads and loads of color.....taste is just ok nowhere close to Royal Zaika at Abbotsford....

I will be recommending Royal Zayka to everyone. I had lunch and it was great! It was my first time eating there and I really enjoyed the experience. The service was friendly and fast, the portions were generous and, I feel, very reasonably priced. I am looking forward to ordering some more Veggie Pakora for takeout dinner tonight!

Shahi paneer was superb but naans were the most worst I have ever tried . like kacha atta. Very bad

Wasnt a great experience. Ordered samosa from them, no taste at all i mean no salt means NO SALT, can see a clear white mashed potato. Talked to receptionist and she said it is like because white community dont like salt so thats why we make like that. Unsatisfactory answer. Please dont order samosa atleast, wasted my money.
