Boston Pizza in Chilliwack

Terrible server, spilled drink on someone from our party, barely apologized, and didn t clean up at all. Got orders wrong, rude, and didn t offer refills. Food came at all different times, but was still very good. When they gave the wrong food, they charged us for the more expensive meal that we didn t even order.

Had dinner here tonight and the food was terrible. The only thing that came out hot was the bugs and cheese for my kids. My fiancee and I got the rib and wings combo, wings were cold, ribs were cold, fries were cold. No waitress in sight to talk to about the bad food. All in all, not a great experience and we will not be back.

Waitress are very friendly, but I had 4 different waitress coming up to my table throughout it. Had to send back a dish, came back.. alright. The cheese on my pizza wasnt melted and we waited over 20 mins after asking 2 of the waitresses, for my sons birthday Sundae to just get up and leave cause NO one was around.

4 of us went to Boston pizza Friday evening. The food for the most part was ok . Except for the ribs, dont order the ribs if you like tender ribs. They were cold in the middle and stuck to the bones. We sent the ribs back and didnt bother to have them replaced. They were taken off the bill. After we finished our waitress seemed to disappear so we went to the front desk to pay our bill and it was all messed up, eventually we got it straightened out. Overall a frustrating experience.

The food is always good, my kids still love going to Boston Pizza for any special event. Kid-friendliness: There is a kids active menu and tv for parents, and no dishes to clean after.

Its probably the worst Boston Pizza Ive ever been too. This place needs a thorough cleaning though, not the cleanest. The service here is also painfully slow so if you know what you want to eat when they eventually show up to get you drinks, order food at the same time otherwise itll be about 20 minutes later before they take your food order. The food is alao portioned to be smaller than any other Boston Pizza, Im talking like half the size. We also got our toddler the chicken strip and fries and he didnt like it so I took a bite, the strip were about 90% breading with a very thin layer of chicken. Absolutely atrocious. Please stay away from this place so they go under.

Ordered through doordash, expecting the same quality I would have got if I went into the store. Unfortunately that just does not seem to be the case. Of course DoorDash will also hold no accountability either. The problem is not with the delivery service as I was going into it knowing I will pay more ordering through a 3rd party service. It s the fact that after spending 80 dollars on a starter that came half the size. 5 chicken bites, 20 cactus cuts and 3 dips( which do not make up for the lack of chicken) and a couple pieces of bread. Extremely underwhelming amount of food for the cost. Highly do not recommend ordering from here as it seems to be consistent across ordering from this franchise.

Food is the reason I keep coming back. The service was definitely lacking. We had 3 different servers within an hour or so and none of them seemed to know what the other was doing. It was difficult to get their attention just so we could get the bill too. Overall I love the food there, but they need to work on getting a single server for an area and be attentive to your customers.

All the kids were happy. Service was great. Food came quickly and the sundae bar was such a treat. Havent been for a while and it turned into our favorite night out spot ! Kid approved

Had a great waiter but the food was bad, could have made it at home with a bottle of store bought sauce and some noodles. Not worth what you pay for. At one time BP had great food but not any longer!

Over a year ago, I was here and I rated it 4 stars, because although the food was not bad, the place did not look good, a little dirty, the service very poor. But today, which was my sons elementary school graduation, was fantastic. Thank you very much, everything was delicious, the service was excellent and the place looked and felt very good.

Our server was great- we came for a childs birthday. We did not get his name but he did a great job at accommodating requests and with the service overall. Thank you! Unfortunately though, the pizzas looked a little sad if Im being honest.. almost felt like we could have ordered from Dominos and had better pizza. Oddly, it was also quite warm in the restaurant. It was almost as if the AC was not working.

Ate here tonight. We were very disappointed. Service was so slow. People were waiting to order and appetizers were served with our meal because it took so long. After finishing our meal and waiting 20 minutes I finally went up to the bar to ask for a take out container and our bill. 4 staff members were standing at the bar talking. When i told them we had been waiting and would like our bill, we did not even get an apology. Others were waiting at their tables as well. We will not be eating there again, and we suggest they hire a manager that trains their staff to properly serve their customers.

I ordered the Thai chicken bites and a Halftime Squarefooter through skip the dishes on May 10 2024 and got the absolute worst food poisoning that I have ever experienced. It took a few days before I could even eat any kind of food again and over a week before my body was able to get back to normal.

I would first like to say is I only write these things if I really feel prompted to. Some of the best service I ve had in my life. Was feeling the blues walking down Luckakuck and decided to treat myself to sooth my woes. Wasn t expecting to be cheered up by a friendly young man making some good lighthearted conversation, my servers name was Ben and dare I say give that boy a raise!

The owner of this establishment went out of their way to assure me, as a newly diagnosed celiac, the precautions they take when cooking their gluten-free food. Just make sure you specify its a gluten allergy and they will be sure to make every effort to avoid cross contamination. It has been daunting trying to find places to eat, and they made it so easy and didnt make me feel like a bother when asking. Bonus they are right down the street from me and open late. The gluten-free pizza crust is the best gf pizza Ive found, and the gf brownie they threw in for me to try on my last stop in was so delicious too! Service is tops!

I have been to the restaurant many times over the years, prices are adequate to the quality of the food, servings are generous, Id recommend the lamb as it does not appears in the dishes below to recommend, but not always in the menu. Watch always for the deals of the day at the door

We went for lunch, thinking it would be fun. Giving BP a new try after the summer disaster of last year. The two servers tried their best to make things easy. The personal size pizza was average. The ravioli bites hard and flavorless. The chicken club sandwich was very greasy . Generally, we ate because we were hungry . Needed to get a hot tea on the way home to easen the tummy. Even though we had not been satisfied. We observed other customers to be very happy with their altered ,according to dietary needs pizzas.

I wish I could remember the name of the bubbly young lady ( could/should be mgmt) . Prompt, friendly, and enthusiastic service, which is a far cry from previous visits. Sometimes I work late and not much else open. (My previous suggestion was to fire whomever hired the people mismanagement). Nice improvement... the store decor desperately needs an update. Overall, BPs food quality has gone down over the years. I work on the road and have been to many BPs Chilliwack still has a long way to go but that young lady made a great impression

Not going to lie, BPS is not ever my first pick, second pick or third but my boyfriend loves their pizza. Needless to say, I must admit we ve ordered take out here many times over the last few years and have been very happy with everything we have received. I even ordered a pizza on Valentine s Day to go (it was extremely busy) and although it did take a little bit longer (understandably so), it was still cooked to perfection!

We go likely once a month. Food is consistent and never deviates. Service can be hit and miss. Went in tonight and the place was packed, so I wasnt expecting what happened. We were seated quickly, drink and appy order was quick. Food order taken and drinks and appy comes out. Then the food. All within 20-25mins. Very happy. Kids were full. Spoke to the owner, who took a kids card number, about our night and how the service had done a 180°.

Valentine s Day is known to be busy, but our experience at Boston Pizza was beyond disappointing. Despite arriving on time for our pick-up, my spouse waited inside for an hour amidst numerous complaints from other customers about long wait times. One customer even returned with someone else s order after realizing the mistake halfway home. Upon finally receiving our pizzas for take out, we discovered one was ice cold. Hoping for a quick resolution, my spouse went back inside, only to be told they would make a new pizza instead of offering a refund. This meant our second pizza would also be cold by the time the replacement was ready. After waiting for an hour and a half, our Valentine s Day dinner was ruined. I would not recommend Boston Pizza for Valentine s Day or any other occasion. The lack of timely service and quality control was extremely disappointing. This experience has made me reconsider returning to Boston Pizza in the future.

From the moment we entered of course the warm welcome and everything else. Also very very very clean we have been to almost every Boston Pizza in Canada this one is so far one of the BEST And... one more thing was very surprising the Sunday table!! My kids love it. Cold/old pasta made some other day and served cold. Never once offered a refil on our drinks as we waited nearly an hour for our cold spaghetti and disappointing sandwich. We paid our bill, left our food on the table, and left to go eat at another restaurant. I wouldnt recommend that this place. 3.4 stars says it all.

Great everything at this location

We have had nothing but bad luck with this BP in Chilliwack from raw chicken wings being served to us, our food being thrown down at us from our server in the past, decided to give it a shot as I just got a GC for BP. This time we got a half over cooked pizza. The crust was so hard you could probably crack a tooth from eating it. The server was good when the server was around took a while to do a full circle to check in on us. And the only other thing I would knock the server for is bringing that pizza to us and an ex-server myself I would do visual look of my guests orders and would send back to kitchen if it wasnt presentable and explain to my guest and offer a discount for waiting extra. Eat in at your own risk as we all know Chilliwack is lacking in quality family dine in restaurants. Kid-friendliness: Really, one of the only kid-friendly restaurants in chilliwack besides fast food restaurants.

They messed up our meal twice. After an hour we had to leave. Im glad I ordered an appetizer or we would of left without eating anything. I thought maybe they would comp our appetizer due to the issues. However Im not one to make a scene. Disappointing service.

My friends and I came for dinner on Sunday night & were very upset with the service. My friend had ordered an alcoholic drink and after hed already started drinking it, was told he HAD TO order food. Nowhere in any liquor law/license states that you need to order food with alcohol. Ive done my research. I had to order fries for him because the waitress was going to take his drink away. Not only that, but it was not busy whatsoever and it was taking 15 minutes EACH TIME for the waitress to come back with anything we asked for. None of us will ever be coming back to this location.

Was served food and then the waiter never came back. He avoided our table completely for the entire sitting, until we flagged him down to get our bills. This place needs a breath of life, old stucco outside shows its age, blurry and flickering TVs. Food was ok, service was a bit hit and miss.

We were a reserved group of 15 people (which we were told could not be found). Our first server brought our drinks quite quickly but the tea water was cold not even warm then several servers went home leaving two with the whole restaurant When our meals finally arrived 2 s were cold (not even warm), the 2 plates of ribs and fries were cold, two of the plates of pasta were luke warm in the middle and others at the table were saying the same about their meals except two said were better than warm. My family of 4 in this group were very disappointed as was the other two pensioners who did not even eat their rib meals. No discount or refund was offered to any of us other than the tea taken off the bill. It was my familys first meal in BP in probably 2+ years (pre covid) and definitely will not be returning there. As for several others who say they regularly go have now chosen to drop the restaurant from their to go places. It was not super busy only 4 smaller tables of 2-4 were occupied.

I cant believe how bad the service was we went for my daughter birthday dinner and no one came to our table for 30 minutes after we arrived and when we did order our drinks they never even brought them out till after our food was brought out. Shouldnt take 30 minutes to wait for our drinks. Our food actually arrived before our drinks, which we had to remind to get. Staff seems too interested in socializing amongst themselves than serving customers. They also seemed like they were all new(3 on the floor) and kinda fumbling with tasks. It wasnt busy and many people had to ask for items after lengthy waits. I usually like BP but wont be returning to this location after this sub par service. Maybe the new one in Hope (if it ever Opens) will be better.

My husband & I love coming to BP, we get great service from Nicole, Christine & all the staff. The foods hot & the restaurant is clean. Feels like family. Parking: Parking is no problem. Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids, especially the drinks. Wheelchair accessibility: Nice & level, no obstacles.

Show up for late lunch at 2pm in a nearly empty restaurant, got slow confused service. Even though we had two servers keep coming to our table, still took 15 minutes to get our drinks.

Pick up order, pizzas were great. Royal Hawaiian, so different, and the Boston Royal was great. Took the server three times to complete things, get change from the back, then get pizzas, I then asked for napkins, again had to go into the back to get them. Suggestion, have somewhere on front of building which side is the entry, walked to wrong side of the building.

I order here from skip the dishes from time to time and they never fail to forget items. Whether its a dip, a drink, a garlic toast, you name it, they WILL forget it and thats a gaurantee. Its so tiresome at this point. Every other boston pizza Ive been to is great, but this one is consistently disappointing and its been disappointing for 20+ years.

Food was ok...what food arrived. Service was terrible. Server never came back to check, and one meal arrived after everyone else was finished. The server never came by to ask for more drinks, or anything. Other staff tried to help out a bit, but didnt make up for it. Meh. My meal of Jambalaya Fettuccine was passable. Ingredients were good and plentiful however the sauce was bland along the line of canned. I ate it all, however cause I hadnt eaten in over 24 hrs. My partner had the grilled chicken tacos where the chicken was luke-warm at best and the tortillas, despite having grill marks were cold, like the just came out of the fridge. The cactus fries appetizer was the best part of the whole experience. We wont be back to this location. Hopefully, whenever the Hope location gets around to opening, they produce better fare.

Whenever we pass through Chilliwack , we like to stop at this BP location for lunch. The service is always so friendly and it s nice to be able to go to a restaurant these days that hasn t raised their prices to a ridiculous level ! The owner of the restaurant is such a sweetheart and she takes pride in being present and helping out . Great place to bring kids , too - I noticed some other families getting sundaes for the kids and they had this cart where the kids can pick their own toppings- fun !

The workers were very kind and joking with me! The food came after quite a bit of waiting but my server, a younger girl with ginger hair and large eyeliner made the time go by fast as she kept checking in and had a great sense of humor! She also recommended me the spinach dip and it was fantastic!! Thank you for making our stay worthwhile!!

My partner ordered food for our family of 4, we didnt realize one of our meals werent in our bag. Upon calling they told my partner they accidentally put our meal in someone elses bag and theyll issue a credit for us which will be available in 1-2 weeks. We asked to instead have another one of the same exact meal to be made, however, we were told Boston Pizza doesnt do that anymore and if we want the same exact meal they forgot to give us then well have to order another as well as pay for it after we literally paid for this meal already!

Very disappointed. Kids got served a burger and a half portion of fries each, I could count the fries, it was like 15-20 each-max. Got the lasagna and it was probably the laziest lazagna ever made. I was actually thinking of making a lazy lasagna for dinner tonight but didnt think a restaurant would serve something like that to a paying customer. There were no layers, it was literally lazagna noodles and meat on a plate with no ricotta just some mozzarella on top. Honestly a frozen lazagna from freshco is better. Spaghetti was -eh, not great but not outstanding. Paid $130 for a meal that wouldve cost $50 in groceries and honestly would have been made better at home. Service also was terrible, our table had no napkins or utensils. Asked for condiments for the burgers, and got handed a bottle of ketchup only. We only saw our server twice the whole meal, didnt get asked if our meal was okay, she didnt even come to present us with the bill or the takeout boxes. Honestly, I want to say other BPs are better and would like to try another one out, but this experience has turned our family off them. Next time well go to White Spot.

We recieved an order from this location and it tasted like chemicals and made our mouths numb. We called to let them know there was a possibility of cross contamination and the manager or owner made excuses and didnt take responsibility. We werent looking for anything just thought wed let them know so they can speak to their staff to be more careful with cleaning products in the kitchen. The lady on the phone refused responsibility and stated theres no way it was from them.

Best Boston Pizza my kids and I have been to. Great food and service and giant pop glasses followed by a toppings cart for the ice cream.

Normally, I find the food average. Ww went to the Chilliwack location, and the service was great, and the food was perfectly done. Vegetarian options: One in our group is vegetarian, and he had no problem finding options to order from.

We ordered 2 pizzas through Skip and watched the driver through the app, arrive and wait 30 minutes for our order. But the pizza was barely warm when we got it, so the pizza had obviously been sitting before it was given to him. We usually like Boston Pizza places but this would be an exception.

What Im a seeing from reviews, dont order through skip... My fiance and I stopped in for a bite after a long hike. The staff were great, the food was really good (the cactus cuts were probably the best Ive had from all the bps Ive ever been too), and the atmosphere was pretty great too. Most of the time BPs tend to be extremely loud, however the way this one is set up seems to keep the noise down. Its nice actually being able to hear yourself speak lol Lots of parking, and the bathrooms inside were well maintained.

Terrible service waited 10 min for someone to even come over all tables were dirty, waitress was tying her shoes on the bench of one of the tables, food was terrible half eaten piece of bread under my bread it was so terrible we didn t wait for the waitress we still paid for it and left u touched food. They also forgot our pizza we got to go DONT GO HERE !

My wife pick up a Boston Royal pizza large size was delicious .To night again delicious and nice service we just had a pick up but the guys was so nice and cool nice Hawaiian shirt.Massimo (September 5/2023 we pock up again and the pizza was delicious fresh ingredients and tasty good crust to !!!Good job guys

We waited for around 45 mins for it food, it came and one of the meals was wrong. They apologized (which was great, and offered to fix it or give a voucher) so we opted to fix it as he said it would be right away. They came back 27 mins later and i then asked if it could be wrapped because it yah a little longer than expected. They brought the bill and it was wrong, I let them know it was incorrect they took a bit to come back with the new bill and we paid and left (and yes I paid for my meal still, I didn t expect to get it free) the error was that I was charged for 2 kids meals when we only had a toddler with us. We will order again but probably for pick up as it wasn t very organized for dine in

I have heard many names of their pizza, I thought I will go there one day, as I thought, I went to Boston Pizza one day, the atmosphere there was very nice and good, to tell the truth, the pizza there is very good, and the behavior of the employees there was very good. Fresh ingredients

Went for dinner for our friends birthday. Our friend tried to make a reservation for 25 two times yesterday and two times today only to be told, dont worry just walk in. After the group of us arrived we were told that they needed to clear tables and that we would be in shortly. 30 minutes had passed and they still made no attempt to clean tables and seat us. All 3 employees were standing behind the bar chatting. The restaurant was pretty much empty (there were 2 small tables of 2 people in the entire restaurant) but seeing As Ive been a server for many years I know that sometimes things get busy or backed up and sometimes they need a little help so I asked for a cloth and went up and tried to help clear and clean the table so our group could sit. Instead of one of the servers coming and helping, she told the supervisor/manager what I was doing and he came up, scolded me for trying to help, told me it would get done and to just wait and escorted me away from the tables. I went outside to wait with my friends. 15 minutes later, they finally escorted the group to the tables. After everyone went in I stood outside to finish my smoke and noticed one of the guys in our group was leaving and the server that had got me in trouble for trying to help was also leaving.. I proceeded to ask my friend why he was leaving and he said him and the manager dont get along so he wanted to leave as to not cause any issues for our friends birthday. Within seconds of him saying this, the server turned around and went to the manager and proceeded to point at me and tell him we were threatening to harm him, even tho that wasnt the case. As I went to our table I told my husband that I was uncomfortable and wanted to leave and explained the situation. As Im explaining, my husband looks towards the front to witness the server smiling and waving at us. We grabbed our things and left without another word. As we got into the parking lot, the same server decided to tell us what awful people we were, called us a bunch of names and profanities, jumped in her car and drove off. Now normally I would just let this stuff go but I was absolutely disgusted with the lack of professionalism by the staff. The fact that the manager allowed this to happen and allowed his staff to treat paying customers like this is absolutely appalling. I hope the owners of this establishment take what Im saying very seriously. Hire better staff and when you do, train them properly. There was absolutely no reason for them to treat anyone this way let alone paying customers who did absolutely nothing to deserve it and when a group of 25+ call for a reservation, dont make them wait 45 minutes for u to prepare especially when theres 2 tables of 2 in the entire restaurant. Make sure its set up properly. Thats why people make reservations in the first place.. Do better. Treat people better. The behavior from the manager and staff was UNACCEPTABLE!!! I hope you learn from this situation and get your acts together quick. If this kind of behavior and lack of professionalism continues, I assure you your restaurant will close permanently..

Food has gone down hill at BP s or maybe it s just the Chilliwack location. Small portions, steak was small, and dry even though I ordered it medium. It was full of gristle. My family of 6 will not be coming back.

All around not good. Poor service and the food was just disgustingly not right. My bacon bits and pecans in my salad were stale and old, tasting of fridge or freezer burn or something similar. It was my sons birthday and he got his food about twenty minutes after the rest of the table got theirs..it was a burger ? Definitely not worth 80 something dollars for three plates. Ill never go to this location ever again. Sad... I thought chain restaurants had to be up to a certain standard. This is definitely subpar

Took half an hour to get drinks which were watery from melted ice and then an additional hour to receive our food.

Horrible customer service will not order from here again. I ordered dinner for me and my wife and half of my order was missing. When i called them to try and resolve the issue they said i would have to contact skip the dishes, when they were the ones that packed and sealed the order. I contacted skip and they didnt refund me or help at all.

You should absalutely come here in a group for the laugh ,make sure you eat before going cause your gonna be there a while ,and if you think you can fill up on beer to calm your hunger think again cause that too takes a while .

After I had already paid for my bill, the staff noticed that an item was inadvertently charged on my bill that should not have been. The manager approached me and refunded me the difference even though I had not even noticed the extra charge. Thank you for your honesty and integrity!

We stopped in this week as we had a gift card to use. Service was outstanding by all members of staff that we interacted with. The food was good and prepared in a timely manner. Didnt get as much of a sports bar vibe here like you do at some other BPs. Thanks for your hospitality

I recently purchased a rubber chicken for my dog that was easier to chew than the chicken parm I was served from this establishment. Thankfully I have no allergies to latex as epipens are quite expensive.

The food was borderline upsetting. Our service was extremely slow, and I am saying 2 hours for our meals to reach our table. And it was not even busy, the restaurant was at maybe 50% capacity. By the time the main dishes reached our table, they were barely warm and at that point our youngest child was loosing it and wanted outta there. This was extremely uncomfortable and spending 150$+ should have some more urgency.

We frequent this BP because our kids love the kids meals and we often buy the $5 kids meal cards. The staff are always really pleasant and kind. However, the service is always incredibly slow, items are constantly being missed off our orders, forgotten, or coming out cold. Every restaurant is struggling for staff which I can understand, however during hockey season were in about once a month and its consistently poor. I also noticed a shift change in the middle of the dinner service. Which has resulted in cold food, meals getting deleted and not served. Its regularly a two hour venture even on a weekday night. Weve also been to BPs in abbotsford and Vancouver and have not had these issues.

First time came to Chilliwack location. Poor Service. No staff is interested in serving. We waited 20 min for someone to come beacause we want to order more. By the time server everyone mood was spoiled already and we didnt order anything after that. Moreover drink was not made according to what was written on menu.

The food isnt even fresh

The pasta tasted like canned sauce you find at superstore. Considering you had to wait almost an hour for your food, actually paying tip was painful. Half the restaurant was empty and the staff couldnt clean empty tables all around us. Whoever is managing this store is a complete joke and needs to be fired.

I was surprised to see how much they charge for condiments. I wont be asking for them anymore.
